AND THE LORD REVERSED IT [HEALING AND DELIVERANCE] SERVICE || SUNDAY SERVICE || 25TH MAY 2025
What the enemy started, the Lord has reversed: stay hungry, let Him empty you of you, speak what you heard until your faith's wholeness shows, and pray like a man, because it will not happen again.

Summary
This was the whole-day Sunday live from Streams of Joy Abuja under the theme "And the Lord reversed it", a healing and deliverance Sunday that was also the church's Children's Day: the Mighty Arrows children's church ministered in the third and fourth services. Each service opened with worship, prophetic declarations over the days of the week ("and the Lord reversed every plan of the enemy to hijack my new") and the 2025 El Roi confession ("Heaven and earth, my case is different. I have seen the God that sees me"), then long reversal prayer: "Let it be reversed. Let it be reversed right now," and "affliction shall not rise up the second time."
In the first service Pastor Jerry preached from Mark 11, the fig tree. After the triumphal entry Jesus was still hungry, so "don't lose your hunger"; after the applause and the validation, "I'm still hungry." Jesus looked for fruit when "the time of figs was not yet", so the believer is not led by the calendar of men: "Not by their time, but by the word of the Lord," and "Time follows me." A fig tree fruits before it shows leaves, so leaves without fruit is an error: your generation will eventually look past your leaves for your fruit. Between cursing the tree and seeing it withered, Jesus cleansed the temple; many outside battles are rooted inside (character, habit, doubt, fear), and those must be driven out too. He closed with "I am a fruit bearer" and an altar call.
In the second service he preached from Mark 5:25-34 and Romans 4:19-21. The woman with the issue of blood only pressed through after she had "spent all that she had", so God sometimes empties us of pride, ego, our own knowledge and the props we lean on: "Arroi, empty me of me." Her faith journey ran hear, say, act: "She heard... for she said." Faith that keeps quiet loses its result. Jesus told her "thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague": wholeness comes first by faith, then you journey in peace (shalom, "nothing missing, nothing broken"), and the physical manifestation follows. "My faith is my wholeness."
In the third service, after testimonies and a long reversal prayer with words of knowledge, he spoke briefly from Luke 18:1: "men ought always to pray, and not to faint." In God's definition a man is someone who prays; the prayerless are babies, and "the season of being babied is over." In the fourth service the children ministered at length (fruit of the Spirit, a lesson recap, a parenting talk show, a Peter-on-the-water drama), and Pastor Jerry led a long prayer over the congregation's children, then taught on "supernatural parenting": be present with presence, pray your children into their purpose, parent from what God has shown you and not from what other children are doing, and talk to them early about sex and immorality.
Testimonies across the day included two shops spared in plaza fires on 9 May, new jobs (one breaking a 21-year unemployment siege), a mother healed of schizophrenia after 23 years, a smoker freed of an 8-year addiction, a live baby boy after doctors said there was no heartbeat, and a man who had practised Judaism for 17 years and was told his liver was "gone", who came back to Christ and was declared normal before 6 p.m. Each service closed with announcements for the coming five days, "Goliath has fallen: move over to the other side," with fasting all week and next Sunday's Thrones and Crowns communion service.

International
- Visitors from Uganda, Amsterdam, the UK, the US, Newcastle and Wales were prayed over. Pastor Jerry: "We're coming to Atlanta on the 19th... if you came from the US, meet me in Atlanta" (month not stated). He promised Newcastle and Wales a Streams of Joy.
- Pastor Dixon Okorafor (caption "Okoraf"), a friend of the pastor, was celebrated in the fourth service.
Testimonies played / recapped
- Steven Edomi (caption "Edbo"): left a foreign remote job in November. On 9 March he declared 20 April as his date of manifestation. Applied the Monday after; the employer wanted a reference from a previous employer he was not on the best terms with. Nothing on 20 April, an email on 21 April, references cleared in the second week of May, started the new foreign remote job last week.
- Restoration testimony (name not caught): after an altercation with a neighbour, a visiting friend left and strange movements and presences followed in the house; neighbours mocked; rent lapsed. On the altar daily; in a dream vomited and excreted, and the symptoms stopped. Then dreams of Pastor Jerry leading to a new place; finances restored, back in church. Quoted Psalm 126:1.
- Mrs Okolora: a 21-year siege of unemployment. Took her university daughter (300 level) to submit IT placement letters in January; at one agency she felt peace and went back ten times. A volunteer of three years and a staff member laughed at her chances; a staff member said his boss shared one of her names. She held a 10 December word (Saul looking for the asses and finding a throne) and a later word "what you think is rejection, there's a process going on". Two weeks ago she was told "85% gone, one leg in" while names, even of five-year volunteers, were being removed. On the 13th at 8:43 p.m. a WhatsApp channel prayer declared "congratulations in less than 24 hours"; around 8:50 the call came. She was given a senior officer appointment at a grade level that normally takes 9-12 years, in the agency's best department, with flights and international meetings with global health partners. She paid nothing.
- Martin Ares: the US government change in January hit the NGO sector; in April he was believing for a new job and vowed to testify. God gave him two jobs before the current one ended, "still with the US government."
- Udwak (Udak) Ashibong (caption): on 9 May, two days after her birthday, fire broke out on the fourth floor of her salon's building. She declared her third-floor shop would not burn. The fire stopped two doors from her shop; even the signage beneath the fire was untouched.
- Prince (Shina) from Cameroon: his mother was mentally ill for 23 years, later diagnosed with schizophrenia. He found NSPPD in 2023 and asked that her case be mentioned. Early one Monday he heard the last testifier speak of a sister healed of the same illness, named Margaret, his mother's name. He wrote it down; the next day (the 7th) his sister called to say their mother was normal. He has been in Nigeria three months and joined Streams of Joy. Second testimony: a smoker for 8 years, delivered at the 31 December 2023 crossover when "every addiction" was reversed; he has not smoked since.
- Peace Abang: her bank app failed, so she changed some dollars to naira and the Holy Spirit told her to pay the tithe on it first. That evening (9 May) she was called to the office unexpectedly, left the plaza around 7, and was told it was on fire. Three fire tankers emptied, the roof and fourth floor burned and debris dropped onto her office. She prayed "Father, I am a tither, rebuke the devourer for my sake"; reinforcement came from another fire service and the fire was quenched at her office. "Tell your neighbour: I will pay my tithe."
- Suzanne: came to NSPPD in 2020 through a cousin's wife healed of cancer of the leg. Her wedding set for 6 September 2020 was cancelled two weeks before over genotype. On 6 September a man called; they married on 19 December, five years ago today. Later: two girls by caesarean with preeclampsia, then an umbilical hernia that made pregnancy dangerous. She came to Abuja at five months, took communion, wrote her requests and shouted "What God cannot do does not exist." On 28 April a scan showed no heartbeat and the doctor wanted the baby removed; she refused and prayed. At 35 weeks a live baby boy was delivered with no oxygen needed, she has had no pain, no high blood pressure, and the planned hernia repair was not needed. She brought the baby to church.
- Phillips (caption "Phillips we see"): born a Christian but practised Judaism for 17 years. On 27 April he passed black urine; the tests said his liver was "gone", and a relative said the result looked like a dead person's. His sisters, members of Streams of Joy abroad, kept urging him back to Christ. On the 13th at 2 a.m. he felt his life being taken; his wife and family prayed the "O" prayer and "Oh Lord, show me mercy", and he leapt up saying "I'm free, I will not die." The next morning, during the "God of perfection" week, Pastor Jerry gave a word about liver issues and "congratulations before 6 p.m. today". Two doctors at a second hospital compared results and around 5 p.m. declared everything normal. He is now a Christian.
- Referred to: a testimony on the WhatsApp channel in "one of the services", and the Margaret testimony from a Monday NSPPD.

- Restored focus and discipline.
- Names deleted from the book of those who will die in 2025.
- A new journey of negativity will not begin in your family by Wednesday evening.
- "Thus saith the Lord: despite your mistakes, you are still qualified... you are still anointed."
- People, countries, leaders and captains of industry you never spoke to will reach out to favour you.
Fourth service:
- Autistic children and children with developmental challenges released.
- Women with failed IVF and IUI: carry your babies now (twins, triplets).
- Children: early achievers, no madness on the day of graduation, no news for the wrong reasons.
Offering
- Tithes, offerings and partnership raised as a wave offering in every service ("the protocol of our house"). Second service: some were led to sow a special seed. Fourth service: "raise a seed for your children."
Important message
- And the Lord reversed it. God's program from creation is to expel darkness, not to let negativity live beside what He is doing. Whatever is not of God has been reversed, and "affliction shall not rise up the second time."
- Don't lose your hunger. After the applause, the validation and the first deals, stay hungry: what you have seen is not all you can become, and destiny is measured by what God said, not by people's clapping.
- Not by their time, but by the word of the Lord. Jesus expected figs out of season. You were created to lead time, not to be led by it; you place things on Monday before Monday arrives. "Time follows me."
- Leaves are not fruit. Looks, certificates and the language of the fruit are leaves. Your generation will eventually ask for the fruit, and men who only show leaves wither in destiny.
- Deal with the inside. Between the curse and the withering Jesus cleansed the temple. Many outside battles are rooted in character, habit, communication, doubt, fear or self-esteem.
- God empties before He fills. The woman reached Jesus only after she had spent all. Hurts, rejections and failed props are God emptying you of pride, ego and self-reliance: "empty me of me."
- Faith hears and faith speaks. The seed of faith dies when it is not spoken; the devil is not scared of the word you heard but of the word you speak. Do not let the liar make you "change the date."
- My faith is my wholeness. You are whole by faith before you are whole in the body; the miracle is only its manifestation. Journey in shalom, "nothing missing, nothing broken," and let no one pity you.
- Men ought always to pray. In God's definition a man is one who prays; the prayerless are babies, whatever they own. Being a man is not what you have but who has you, and how much of heaven's legislative process you are part of. Prayer also brings ideas and direction for your career.
- Kingdom parenting is supernatural parenting. Pray and fast your children into the purpose God showed you; be present with presence; do not parent by comparison; guard what they are exposed to; give them comfort but never let them become comfortable. A child with a great destiny attracts a great attack, which is a call to prayer, not fear. "I am a product of my mother's prayer."
- You are still qualified. Despite your mistakes the Lord has not written you off; He gives grace to live above the failure.
