AND THE MOST HIGH SHOWED UP [GRAND FINALE]

The grand finale of "And the Most High Showed Up" opened with the worship song "We know you are a rewarder of those who diligently seek your face ... all power is in your hands, with you nothing is impossible to do", and the refrain that ran through the whole morning: "What you cannot do does not exist." Pastor Jerry then recounted two wonders from three weeks earlier. During the 7am prayers a word of knowledge told someone sitting beside a dead woman to turn up the phone's volume and place it by her; the mother had been confirmed clinically dead, nothing happened when the prayer ended, and the family felt God had disappointed them, "but people of God, 5 minutes later." A second woman's husband had brain cancer surgery and was told he would stay unconscious for six months and might never walk. She answered the doctor, "What God cannot do does not exist," went to the ICU, called his name, and he opened his eyes; when the staff were removing a window to carry his stretcher out, he stood up on his feet. "We are in a season of a revival of the strange acts of God."

The prayer moved from 2 Corinthians 3:18 ("with open face we behold the glory of the Lord ... changed from glory to glory") through "Awake, my glory" and "Arise, shine" into the cry of the day. He recited the times the Most High showed up: at the pool after 38 years, at the Beautiful Gate, for Mary, for Zechariah and Elizabeth, when Jezebel was thrown down, when rain came after dryness, when the ordinance against us was blotted out. Then: "My father, the hour has come. Show up. Show up in my life." He prayed against any danger to many schoolchildren at the same time and against women losing their husbands, and declared Psalm 147:15 over the hearers: "He sendeth forth his commandment ... his word runneth very swiftly."

Long words of knowledge followed (rectal prolapse, neurogenic shock, bladder cancer, epilepsy striking husband and wife together, a multiple pregnancy declared dead, suicide pressure, a disciplinary committee at work, crying blood, three failed marriages). The second half became an extended glory atmosphere: prayers from Isaiah 32:15 and Psalm 71:18, baptism of the Holy Ghost and new tongues, a "rusty" prophetic gift receiving new oil, hands becoming hands of healing, a well rising from within (hands on the belly). He described an open vision of clouds like fire and people "leaving their former self" and becoming flames of fire, and announced: "The glory of God has taken over ... you are no longer the person that started this prayer."

With a seed in hand the people asked the Lord for three things, and he decreed: "It is settled. The Messiah showed up. No more bitter tears." He announced next week's theme, "Goliath has fallen, move over to the other side", the Sunday healing and deliverance service, and the NSPPD America Prayer Conference. Testimonies were played: a French-speaking woman freed from 14 years of cannabis for sleep, a prostate cancer reversal, twins preserved through 20 weeks of bleeding, and a three-year-old healed of suspected Guillain-Barre syndrome after a remark in an anniversary interview. He drew the lesson that "in the atmosphere of glory, nothing is casual", then led the salvation prayer, three communions, and the closing confession from Psalm 91.

Testimonies played / recapped

• Recap (three weeks earlier): word of knowledge to someone beside a dead woman to raise the phone's volume and place it by her. The mother had been confirmed clinically dead; she did not revive when the prayer ended, but did five minutes later.
• Recap: a woman's husband, operated for brain cancer, was expected to remain unconscious six months and possibly never walk. She declared "What God cannot do does not exist", called his name in the ICU, and he woke; as staff removed a window to carry out his stretcher, he stood up.
• Leah (French speaker, location unclear in captions, "Blon Swan"; previously lived in Israel): could not sleep after giving birth; pills failed and her GP prescribed cannabis drops; relied on cannabis for almost 14 years. Made it a prayer point in the January 21-day fast; now sleeps without it.
• Prostate cancer (fragmentary captions): a man with prostate cancer (a wife with breast cancer is also mentioned) reported readings of 0.08 on repeated tests; Pastor Jerry later called it "prostate cancer reversed by the word of the Lord."
• Linda (captions: "Linda Cameron", likely from Cameroon): drawn to the altar by a testimony of a baby declared dead in the womb; prayed into multiple-birth testimonies, conceived twins, then bled for 20 weeks and was told a miscarriage was underway. In the bathroom she joined her little faith to Pastor Jerry's; then heard a word of knowledge on the stream, "You have been bleeding ... getting ready to go to the hospital ... the enemy will not touch your baby." Both babies were fine; the twins are now about 2 years 6-7 months, and she is born again.
• Grace Tim (Jos, Plateau State): her 3-year-old son woke on 3 March unable to stand or walk; admitted at JUTH (Jos University Teaching Hospital), five days of injections for a suspected immune disorder, lumbar puncture, neurologist suspected Guillain-Barre syndrome (captions: "goubbine syndrome"). In the NSPPD 5th anniversary interview Pastor Jerry, explaining why he cries, said "How do you explain somebody sleeps and wakes up cannot walk?" She took it as her word; the boy now walks unaided. Doctors had said recovery, if any, would take 6 months to a year.

Words of knowledge / healing declarations

• Anything that would endanger many children who went to school at the same time, or cause loss of many children's lives at once: broken.
• A woman told her husband will not die; a pattern of women losing husbands in the family broken.
• Gastric prolapse, then corrected to rectal prolapse.
• "Blasto" (uncertain, possibly a blastoma).
• A liver condition (fragmentary).
• Husband and wife struck by epilepsy at the same time.

1. What God cannot do does not exist. The doctor's verdict is not final; faith answers it in the present tense, "now faith is."
2. We are in a season of a revival of the strange acts of God: the dead raised, the unconscious waking, the paralysed standing. The question "Where is your God?" is answered.
3. The Most High has shown up through Scripture, at the pool, the Beautiful Gate, for Mary and for Elizabeth, and the hour has come for him to show up in your life.
4. God does not disappoint his children: he will not give a stone for bread. Delay at the end of a prayer is not denial ("five minutes later").
5. In the atmosphere of glory nothing is casual. A passing remark in an interview became a mother's word and her son's healing.
6. Bleeding is not loss: you may not see wind or rain, yet the valley is full of water. God preserved twins through 20 weeks of bleeding, nothing missing, nothing broken.
7. Jesus never discriminates; he reaches people in their own language. He gives his beloved sleep.
8. The glory of God has taken over; whoever started this prayer is no longer the same person. A new you has manifested and the old you is left behind.
