THE GOD THAT ANSWERS BY FIRE

The grand finale of the five days of "The God That Answers by Fire" falls on the last day of January. Worship opens on "We know You are a rewarder of those who diligently seek You; all power is in Your hands, with You nothing is impossible", with the refrain "What You cannot fix, what You cannot do, what You cannot solve does not exist." A recorded recap from Pastor Jerry then tells two stories from three weeks earlier: a daughter who, at a word of knowledge, turned up the phone beside her mother who had been confirmed clinically dead, and saw her come back to life five minutes after the prayer ended; and a wife whose husband, after brain cancer surgery, was expected to stay unconscious for six months and never walk, who answered the doctor "What God cannot do does not exist." He woke when she called his name, and stood up from the stretcher while staff were removing a window to move him out of the ICU. Pastor Jerry calls this "a revival of the strange acts of God".

The live prayer moves through a run of declarations. "Surely there is an end; my expectation shall not be cut off" opens the last day of January. Then Passover: the Jews kept an alternate Passover in the second month, so the people call their names and declare "I pass over" from January into February, "2025 will never look like 2024", "by my God I run through a troop, by my God I leap over a wall". Next he breaks "the spirit of the Midianite", the traders who bought and resold Joseph and who scattered Israel's harvest: no buying and selling over your health, favour, children or opportunities; like Jesus with a whip of fire in the temple, a house of prayer is no den of robbers. Then "no hiding place": God fills heaven and earth, so cancer, shame, delay, epilepsy, cycles and patterns cannot hide. Finally "we shall be many": Moses alone parted the Red Sea, but many priests put their feet in the Jordan, so he calls family members to wake up. From Luke 5 (the deep) and John 21 (the shallow water near land, right side of the boat) he declares that the harvest comes whether you are at the end or still at the beginning: "What I am looking for is by my right side."

Words of knowledge follow, then a long stretch of open glory: "His glory is here", angels saying "come out, it is your season", and an impartation of fire on tongues and hands. He closes the prayer: "The glory of God has taken over... it has ended in glory... a new you has emerged, nothing missing and nothing broken."

The testimony block opens with the "inanimate objects" run: a clipper dead for two years, a water damaged phone, several blenders, a yam pounder, an ice cream maker, a treadmill unused since 2017, and an old phone in California, all working again. A woman in the UK is cleared of four years of glaucoma. A former Muslim in Abuja tells of his wife's healings and asks Pastor Jerry for a Bible. A daughter in the UK revives her mother, who collapsed and stopped breathing in her arms. A military officer from Zaria tells of being freed from ten years of spiritual bondage. Pastor Jerry promises Bibles to the convert and says the inanimate objects "promo is still going on". The service ends with salvation, three communions, announcements, a word from Pastor K and another pastor, Psalm 91 and seven congratulations.

Testimonies played / recapped

• Recap, three weeks earlier: at a word of knowledge, a daughter turned up the phone beside her mother, confirmed clinically dead hours before. Nothing happened when the prayer ended and she felt disappointed; five minutes later her mother came back to life.
• Recap, brain cancer: a husband after brain surgery; the doctor said six months unconscious and he may never walk. His wife said "What God cannot do does not exist" and the doctor warned the brother-in-law about her. She called his name in the ICU and he opened his eyes; while staff removed a window to move the stretcher out, he stood on his feet.
• Inanimate objects: a hair clipper dead for two years; a phone water damaged for a month after a daughter took it into the shower; several blenders, one in use over four years and one still showing an error code after the manufacturer's repair; a yam pounder abandoned since the previous year; an ice cream maker the owner had already replaced; a treadmill last used in 2017; an old phone in California, dead for three years, that came on after Pastor Jerry's declaration over inanimate objects.
• Glaucoma, UK: diagnosed about five years earlier in Nigeria, confirmed by consultants, nearly four years on expensive eye drops, confirmed again in the UK in 2023. On 24 October 2024 she joined the prayer with earpieces before an afternoon clinic appointment, heard the "men as trees" second touch, and took it as her rhema. The specialist found no glaucoma, and a later check at Specsavers found none either.
• R, Abuja (former Muslim, Christian since 2021): his wife was healed of ovarian cancer and a hole in the heart. In 2019 a dark red lesion behind her knee, which a doctor friend feared was serious, went after an "Oh Lord Show Me Mercy" replay in which Pastor Jerry named it (caption "lim isia", unclear). She later had gallstones with one large stone needing surgery; a repeat scan around Pastor Jerry's birthday showed them gone, and the doctor said "Madam, this must be God". He asked Pastor Jerry for a Bible.
• Mother revived, UK: her mother's sister (as heard) and then a brother died within a month, and people dreamt of more deaths. On the evening of the NSPPD US conference, her mother, visiting from Nigeria, collapsed in her arms, breathed three times and stopped. Running for her phone, she felt a hand block the door and a voice say "go back to that body and speak to it". She reversed her negative words: "Nothing dies in my hand, nothing dies in my house." She screamed until her ears hurt, and her mother woke asking why she was shouting.
• Military officer, Zaria: from a Muslim background, saved young, then ten years of spiritual bondage, near death on the battlefield and wounds on both legs, while his wife kept praying. In 2022 he had spine surgery at 44 Reference Hospital (admitted 1 June). A coursemate's wife gave him the link and he became glued to it. On day 21 of the January 2023 fast he was set free and spoke in tongues. Later in 2023 he prophesied over a nurse's house in a demolition line, and the demolition skipped her house.

Words of knowledge / healing declarations

1. What God cannot do does not exist. The church is in "a revival of the strange acts of God", and people will no longer ask "Where is your God?"
2. Faith is now. A delay of five minutes does not mean God failed; the Father does not give a stone for bread.
3. January ends with an expected end. Like the second month Passover, believers pass over into February, and 2025 will not repeat 2024's cycles.
4. A person of prayer is a house of prayer, and no demonic buying and selling can go on in it. Health, favour and opportunity cannot be bought.
5. Nothing can hide from the God who fills heaven and earth: not sickness, shame, delay or patterns.
6. The move of God is not one person's. Many feet in the Jordan part it, and whether in the deep or the shallows, what you need is at your right hand.
7. The fire is mobile, not static: the altar goes with the believer, as with the daughter who raised her mother. You cannot be on the fire and have flies perch on you.
8. The glory of God has taken over; a new you has emerged, nothing missing and nothing broken, and February will be a month of transition.
