RAIN OF ANSWERS
RAIN OF ANSWERS || SUNDAY SERVICE || 2ND FEBRUARY 2025
It is raining: stay with Jesus, refuse to confer with flesh and blood, and let February be the month your answers come not as drops but as a rain of answers.

Summary
This was the first Sunday of February 2025 at Streams of Joy Abuja, the Sunday after the 21 days of fasting in January, run as a "Rain of Answers" service. The worship leaders opened with Psalm 68:9, "thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance", and the cry of the day all morning was "Let it rain": "February cannot be empty", "February will not look like other months", "February is for harvest: you sowed in January". Each service spoke a declaration over every day of the week and closed with the Psalm 91 confession, "I am dwelling in the secret place of the most high", and the charge to walk up to 14 people and shout "It is raining".
First service (2 Samuel 9:1-13). David asked "is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may shew the kindness of God unto him?" Pastor Jerry made the church pray for men who will show them "the kindness of God", which he set apart from mere human kindness. Mephibosheth, son of Jonathan, was squatting in the house of Machir in Lo-debar while Ziba, a servant "without pedigree" with fifteen sons and twenty servants, enjoyed what belonged to Saul's house. As long as the heir is a child he is a servant to the servants (Galatians 4:1), and Mephibosheth was lame: a son with no walk. A walk with God means "I am no longer where I was yesterday": God speaks and you move. From Joshua 17:1 he read Machir as "a man of war", so the house of Machir is a place of endless warfare, and David's order to fetch him out became a declaration: "I am out." He prophesied good news "in less than 24 hours" that the battle has ended, and said there are five battles the church will not fight this year. He closed on covenant: David honoured his covenant with Jonathan, so the church must stop dealing with people who do not respect covenant ("when covenant becomes convenient, let them go").
Second service (Matthew 16:13-19). "But whom say ye that I am?" He linked Jesus' question to God's name to Moses, "I AM THAT I AM" (Exodus 3:14): Jesus breaks down the mystery of I AM, the nature that saves and delivers. Peter got the answer because "flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee". Flesh and blood is the place of fear, family history, doctors' reports and "who shall roll away the stone?", so he had the church declare "Flesh and blood, take a back seat" and "I am not holding a flesh and blood conference, I am holding a spirit conference" (Galatians 1:16). Revelation is the first thing that launches a man into perpetual answers, and "what has not been built might just be a consequence of what has not been revealed". You can only say the gates of hell shall not prevail over what you have a revelation about, and the keys he gives are keys of the kingdom of heaven, not keys of the earth. He ended with a word that God was healing wounds in the soul in that service: emotional dependence, bitterness, scars that keep the tears flowing.
Third service (John 21:1-17). The disciples went fishing without Jesus and caught nothing. Three kinds of people: those who toil and catch nothing, those who toil and catch something, and those who walk into what has already been caught, because when they came to land "they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread". "What they were struggling to catch, Jesus already put on the fire." Stay with Jesus: others may build, marry and buy cars first, but "I may not trust the process but I trust the Lord." Peter "was naked" and girded his coat because of fish, so "never allow your pursuit to take your identity": "No fish will take away my garment", not your prayer life, your study life or your passion for Jesus. Casting on the right side is about instruction, not skill: "Lord, where do I cast my net?" It was the disciple whom Jesus loved who discerned "It is the Lord", and Jesus' threefold "lovest thou me" means you fix love and love fixes action.
Fourth service (Ruth 1:1-18). He spoke about Orpah, "the lamentations of Orpah", the woman ordained for greatness who turned back and fizzled out of history while Ruth became an ancestor of Jesus. Ruth saw beyond Naomi's condition: "there is more to my life." Some people are signposts to your destiny and some are carriers of what you need; the same Naomi who said "do not follow me" later positioned Ruth for Boaz, so never judge a result by a temporal setback. Ruth chose Naomi's God over the gods; she cried, but after crying she still walked, so "don't let emotions take decisions your spirit is supposed to take". Seek destiny relationships rather than relationships of circumstance, because most of what God does this season "will be routed through men". Orpah and Ruth were both from Moab but not destiny mates; choose your circle. Naomi went back because God had given His people bread, so follow God's bread, the bread of life, not the bread of Moab. He told how, in junior secondary school, he fasted and sat alone in church after school for 40 days, and his mother brought food at 4 pm and woke him at night to pray over whatever God had told him. The service ended with a communion of "a mantle of relevance".
Testimonies ran through the second, third and fourth services. A car salesperson in the US went from weak sales to selling 29 cars in July and salesperson of the year 2024. A man whose colleague died in a 2022 crash near Dallas avoided a hip replacement and left his wheelchair after one week instead of a year. An 11-year-old diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma had a clear scan. A young woman received an unsolicited appointment letter for a top position from an uncle she last asked in 2019. A widow has been receiving a monthly support from a stranger. A 13-year-old boy who collapsed at school revived while his sister prayed over a video call. A UK couple, both Redeemed pastors, finished their house in one year and the husband's spinal stenosis surgery was cancelled. A man was rescued from a ritualist's car full of money ("fire in your eyes"), and a man who could not sleep in his own village house for about 16 years slept there for a month.

Testimonies played / recapped
Second service
- Salesperson in the US: a car accident on 8 January 2024 was turned around after the Spirit prompted a song. Chosen for a Nissan summit in October, still top seller that month despite missing four to five days. On 20 November ("Oh Lord show me mercy") a manager threatened to switch off their internet leads; they sold three cars that day. Sold 29 cars in July and was named salesperson of the year 2024. No more drinking or clubbing; prayer from Deuteronomy 28:1-14 over the church.
- Man from the US (Midland to Dallas): in October 2022 their car caught fire; while walking to a store a car hit them from behind. His colleague died on the spot; he was found in a ditch after 90 minutes, flown to Dallas, in a coma for two days. Told he needed a hip replacement and that L3 and L4 had not aligned; after the word "what they saw before they will not see again" no replacement was needed. Told a year in a wheelchair; after the word "let the bones align" he stood up within a week. The therapist called him "my miracle child".
- Karen, mother of Chimamanda (11): seizures misread as asthma; diagnosed on about 12 July with Hodgkin's lymphoma after a biopsy. On 8 October Pastor Jerry named "Hodgkin's disease, lymphoma cancer" on the altar, and on 18 October "what they saw before they will not see again". She dreamt of him at the stairs of a hospital in Stockholm (caption "Sona", likely Solna), saying "come, let me finish what I have started" and giving them communion. The CT scan on 25 October showed nothing.
Third service
- Young fashion designer: gave an uncle a CV in 2019 and never mentioned a job again. After the 21-day fast, asking for global visibility for her brand before the end of the first quarter, she woke at 5 am to a letter of appointment from him on WhatsApp (dated 24 January) for a sensitive post "at the top of the chain".
- Mercy, a widow with three children: took the word "receive help from the nation"; a stranger she met on a car lift gave her son a gift and has kept sending her money monthly "as if I'm working for her". After replaying "Oh Lord show me mercy" for her children, her older son was led to a snake in her room and it was killed. Her youngest son fell sick every November for four years after his third birthday; after the word "children are coming out of their cages" the cycle has not returned for two years. She brought his umbilical cord to the altar.
- Makeup artist and realtor (name unclear): her brother walked away with minor injuries on 7 January when two motorbikes collided with him. After a friend rebuked her faith, she rededicated herself; on 30 November ("before November becomes December") she received millions as a gift, not to be repaid, and opened two businesses in December. Pushed out of a cramped studio by a conspiracy, she praised through it and got a bigger, furnished space on 12 January.
- Perioperative nurse: came to the altar after a dream of Pastor Jerry; promotions at work and growth in business. A patient she sent the link to was healed of persistent pain, her shop filled with customers, and her mother's recurring uterine prolapse stopped without surgery. Released two songs given 10-12 years ago, one titled "Arroi".
- Young lawyer and DJ: passed the law school exam his mother had heard named on the altar; an AirPod that had stopped working was restored as he declared over it; two job offers within two weeks of coming to church, and a call about a third. Has quit clubbing and smoking and now DJs Christian music only, "it's my consecration".
Fourth service
- Sister of Junior (13), Imo State: on 31 January he collapsed at school, swollen, jaw locked and drooling; the hospital found nothing. On a video call she prayed with the "Oh Lord show me mercy" replay and her mantle over the camera; his jaw loosened and he recovered. At the hospital "there was nothing wrong".
- Couple transferred from Lagos to Abuja: she lost her mother on 4 February 2024; they joined Streams of Joy on 20 October and the discipleship class, and served at the crossover night. A swelling on her right foot disappeared on 15 January. Her husband, jobless since 27 September 2018 and about to take a driver's job, got a call to report in Port Harcourt before the 27 January date she had written on 13 January ("Five days of Throne Room Verdict"). Caption says he has "gone back to sheep", likely "back to ship" (uncertain).
- Felicity and her husband, Redeemed pastors from the UK: NSPPD since 16 December 2020. They bought land (caption "49 plus"), an old debtor paid money she was not owed, and the house was finished within one year. His spinal stenosis (caption "sural steroides") was booked for surgery; the surgeon offered a repeat MRI, and no surgery was needed. He had been hearing a confirming word about stenosis on the altar; he can now write, run and jump.
- Franklin: lost his business and fell into debt in 2020. Police mistook their car for armed robbers and shot; the bullet passed his ear and killed a 15-year-old in front of him. The next morning he got an interview he never applied for and was the only one of six chosen. A friend's wife who drank Sniper (pesticide) was revived. His salary was later raised to the exact figure he had prayed for, and he has since started a car business and real estate.
- Shalom ("nothing missing, nothing broken"): after a December service a man in an immigration officer's uniform gave her a lift in a car full of money. She lost consciousness, woke at a strange place hearing "nothing missing, nothing broken", and saw a pot of blood with feathers under the money. He shouted "fire in your eyes" and pushed her out; she was far from Kurudu (caption "do allery"). She quit her Lagos job to follow the ministry.
- Man who could not live in his village house: for about 16 years (later said 15) he saw shadows and snakes in the house he built and slept on the floor at relatives' houses. On 28 December he anointed the gate and door with oil, put up an Arroi sticker, slept in his room and stayed a month.
Words of knowledge / healing declarations
- First service: cough ever since a surgery; "the Lord is removing two more from your track"; a new letter written for you; delay; passing blood; "what killed your father will not kill you"; a surgery done three times and the growth returning; bacterial infection in the bone marrow; buried wedding gowns, territorial keys, documents and passports "resurrect"; garments of family members changed; a grave in February "that came to bury your opportunities" covered; good news in less than 24 hours; "landmark things on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday" to give back lost years.
- Second service: healing of wounds in the soul, emotional dependence ("you are becoming your own woman, your own man"), a sound mind.
- Third service: disease of the gums; cancer that moved from breast to cervix; "step out and take what is yours"; "you will not be rewarded with bad for your good works"; restoration of a stolen marital celebration; limitation on the male members of a family broken.
- Fourth service: three siblings whose marriages have broken down, "in 16 days a miracle is coming for the three of them"; a child who chokes whenever they eat; immunisations working against children reversed; a condition heard as "osis" (unclear); the garment of average torn; "the Lord will reintroduce you to those that despised you".
Important message
- February is a month of harvest and rain, not drops: "rain of answers, not drops of answers", "no half measures". What you sowed in January in prayer and fasting is about to erupt, one testimony on the heels of another.
- You are the rain of answers your generation is waiting for; people's lives are tied to your manifestation.
- The kindness of God does not come by what you did right or wrong. A son can still be squatting while a servant enjoys his inheritance; know who you are and walk with God, because "if I don't move, Ziba will come".
- Some battles end now. God is bringing you out of the house of Machir, the place of endless warfare.
- Covenant is sacrificial. People who do not respect covenant, who expose what you share and use relationships for convenience, must be let go.
- Do not confer with flesh and blood. Revelation, not fear or reports, is what launches a man into continual answers; what God builds rests on what He has revealed, and only revelation lets you tell hell it cannot prevail.
- Seek the keys of the kingdom of heaven rather than the keys of the earth; the keys you get from His presence are ones men cannot copy.
- Stay with Jesus. Others will toil with net and skill; you will find the fish already on the fire, with bread you did not even look for.
- No pursuit is worth your garment. Do not let money, a job, a relationship or busy new doors strip you of your prayer life, your study and your passion for Jesus.
- Answers come by instruction, not skill: ask where to cast your net. Settle that God loves you, and fix your love so that it fixes your actions.
- Like Ruth, see beyond present conditions, decide by the Spirit not by emotion, value destiny relationships, choose your circle, and follow the bread of life.
