AND THE LORD TURNED IT IN MY FAVOUR

A Monday morning in the "31 Days of Answers, Evidence and Manifestation" season, opening the last week of October. The captions join the altar already in full flow: "something that is not in line with the will of God for my life must be altered", wheelchairs lifted up in the hall, a word for women waiting for the fruit of the womb ("no matter what the medical report... carry your evidence right now"), and a salvation call early on. The repeated cries are "Whatever followed you here, you will not leave with it", "the sound of your family will no longer record premature death" and "Who can battle with your God?"

The theme is turnaround. After a long stretch of "the blood of Jesus, hallelujah", Pastor Jerry announces Ezekiel's "I will overturn, overturn, overturn it, until he come whose right it is", then Philippians 1:19 ("this shall turn to my salvation through prayers and the supply of the Spirit"). From there he stacks the turning texts: beauty for ashes, the latter glory of the house, Lamentations 3:37, the handwriting of ordinances blotted out, the wilderness turned into water springs, "Behold, I make all things new", and Psalm 126 ("when the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion... we were like them that dream"). The central revelation of the day is Samson's riddle and Esther: "Out of the eater came forth meat, and out of the strong came forth sweetness. This is the Lord turning it." The plot of Haman became the beauty of Mordecai's testimony; the wickedness only "added colour" to it. In the same way, "the more they afflicted the Israelites, the more they multiplied", so whatever came to reduce you, "let the Lord turn it in your favour."

The prayer lines run through the spirit of mistake and error ("you will not be a victim of another man's mistake"), wicked people feeding on the lives of a younger generation, any power that wants to make life "ordinary" (Samson's locks), powers shifting the date of celebration ("the wait is over"), wrong counsel and wrong voices, and the mourners Jesus sent out of Jairus's house ("who are they saying there will be no turnaround? Get out"). Belshazzar's feast closes it: the enemy's celebration over your name must end. He prays for anyone facing deportation, for those who did what they were accused of and now cry for mercy, and for an "exemption" over body and loved ones ("you will not receive my body... until I say so"). A long healing roll call follows (spinal fluid leak, myeloma, ventricular arrhythmia, a shifted kidney, a suspected ovarian cancer, tuberculosis, skull fracture and more), then a prophetic close over the people and their children: "The Lord has multiplied you, you are no longer few... the stone the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone."

He then sets up Tuesday as "Enough is Enough", a special healing, deliverance and high favour service for stubborn challenges, with "operation take off the old garment, wear your new garment", the prayer to redeem 30, 50 and 70 years ahead, and "stop the stoppers". A seed time follows with declarations ("as you have spoken in my ears, so will I do to you"), and the congregation declares "Just when the devil thought he dealt his worst blow, the Lord turned it in my favour."

The testimonies fit the theme exactly: a university dropout turned first-class software engineering graduate and funded tech founder, a mother healed of a bone-on-bone knee without surgery, a UK couple who had a son after ten years of waiting, and a woman in Germany declared free of aggressive breast cancer. After the announcements and three communions, Pastor K thanks him for the Haman revelation, a second minister picks up "what came to eat me has become meat", and the service ends with Psalm 91 and seven congratulations.

Testimonies played / recapped

• University dropout to tech founder (Nigeria): dropped out at 300 level in 2022 when the family planned to relocate to Canada; her father was duped, two later Canadian admissions were lost and they were duped again. She came to the church on 3 September 2023, the day after the NSPPD US conference, the morning Pastor Jerry wept and thanked God. A week later she applied to a newly opened open university (captions "Ma open university", likely Miva), met a business partner and started a B2C then B2B tech company. Since then: $2,000 Google credits; one of three finalists out of 11,000 applicants for a women's accelerator trip to Japan; selected among 3,200 of 260,000 applicants for the Tony Elumelu Foundation $5,000 grant (January); $25,000 in server credits (April); $100,000 in Microsoft credits (May); graduated with a first class in software engineering (June). She turns 26 tomorrow.
• Mama healed of a bone-on-bone knee: after a stroke ("pass stroke") and other complications she fell on the road; her right knee X-ray at the teaching hospital showed bone on bone with no cartilage, and the orthopaedic doctor said only knee replacement would help. She moved from one walking stick to another, refused offers to go to America or the UK, joined 7 a.m. prayers consistently and told God this is a "gospel leg" (Isaiah 52:7). Without surgery or hospital, the pain and stiffness left; she now walks freely.
• Chile, United Kingdom: married in 2014, on the altar since October 2020, came to the UK with her husband in 2023, so worn out by 2024 that she showed up without prayer points. Around March, Pastor Jerry prayed that waiting couples would carry their babies by that time next year. At a routine scan on 2 June for an unrelated issue, the sonographer found a heartbeat, at least seven weeks. The "high-risk" pregnancy (age and health) went so smoothly a doctor told her she was "too healthy". She attended the 2024 conference pregnant; their son Ethan, called "Abu", was born in the last week of January, after ten years of waiting.
• Maria, Germany: diagnosed early this year with fast-spreading breast cancer, invasive ductal carcinoma (ER 70%, PR 1%, HER2 positive, Ki-67 83%). She held onto words from the altar ("what they saw before, they will not see again") and a replayed clip of Pastor Jerry on Psalm 23:2-3 and "this cancer will not kill you". On 24 September she was declared cancer free; seven removed lymph nodes all came back clear.
• Pastor Jerry's comments: the second and third testifiers did not know when God turned it, and some watching do not know their miracle is already waiting; consistency on the altar pays.

1. The Lord overturns, overturns and overturns until it reaches the one whose right it is. What was yours is being turned back into your hands.
2. What came to eat you becomes your meat. Out of the eater comes meat and out of the strong comes sweetness: the enemy's plot does not cancel the testimony, it adds colour to it, as Haman's plot did for Mordecai.
3. Affliction meant to reduce you becomes the reason you multiply. The Lord turns it in your favour, and those who waited to celebrate your fall will be shut up.
4. You are not ordinary and you will not be made ordinary; your career, children, wisdom and anointing carry the mark of God.
5. The wait is over. Powers moving the date of your celebration, wrong counsel and voices that say there is no turnaround are put out, the way Jesus put the mourners out of Jairus's house.
6. You will not be a victim of another man's mistake; mistakes and errors are reversed.
7. The Lord has multiplied you, glorified you and made the rejected stone the chief cornerstone. You are rising as a pattern breaker, and your children will be ahead of their contemporaries.
8. Sometimes God turns it without a sign: one random check and the evidence, the email, the approval is already there.
