THE MOST HIGH SHOWED UP

Summary
This was the last Sunday of Streams of Joy Abuja at the M&M Event Center before the church moves to its new site in Jabi on 1 November. The day ran as four services under one theme, "And the Most High showed up". Each opened with worship and an altar of prayer led by the ministers ("this service is my kairos... today is our last service in M&M as Arroi has given us our own place, for we are crossing over to the other side"), a set of declarations over the week, a long run of decrees on the phrase "the Most High has shown up", then Pastor Jerry's message, communion, offering, announcements and a welcome for first timers. The cry of the day, said again and again: "Where men predicted failure, the Most High showed up." The minister counted the journey: it began on 26 December, this was Sunday number 252, and by the end of the last service the church would have held about 1,008 services at the venue.
First service (Mark 9:14-29): the boy with the deaf and dumb spirit whom the disciples could not cast out. Pastor Jerry had the church take a prophetic step and shout "I finally crossed the line". He split believe into "be" and "live": what you confess as your being, you have to live. "Where there is no spiritual capacity, there will always be destiny questions", but one empowerment answers many questions at once. Jesus came down just as his own were about to be embarrassed. "Faithless generation" and "prayer and fasting" are not two verdicts but one: prayer and fasting exist to build faith, and if your faith has not risen after a fast, you fasted in vain. "Your faith is as strong as the three persons you talk to all the time." A deaf and dumb spirit locks the ears so the word bounces off, and shuts the mouth so you cannot pray. "Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief" means the man believed while he looked at the Lord and doubted when he looked at himself, so never process your journey without the Lord. Unbelief starts as a thought and ends as a mindset, it feeds on your yesterday, and it is an insult on the integrity of God.
Second service: the testimonies came first, then Pastor Jerry told the story of the Abuja church. He never planned to live in Abuja and flew in every week for a year, because the resident pastor kept asking for "one more Sunday". At the end of 2021 they were told to leave the earlier venue, M&M came up just before the 31st night service (the first service held here), and the new church site was a refuse dump that swallowed a building's worth of foundation underground. He thanked the temple keepers, protocol, ushers, choir, greeters, quality control, admin and every unit that served through rain, stench and heat. He closed on Psalm 126: "When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream", and prophesied that before October becomes November even "the heathen", those who never believed, will say "the Lord hath done great things for them". On thanksgiving: "don't package it" and don't show God your level, as David danced before the Lord.
Third service (Judges 6:11-16): Gideon threshing wheat by the winepress. Gideon judged his identity by what was happening outside, but God called him a mighty man of valour because Gideon was meant to change the outside. "I didn't raise you to take colour. I raised you to give colour." "The only constant is your identity in Christ; every other situation is a variable." God did not say "I will give you might" but "go in this thy might": the power was latent, and what changed in Gideon was mindset. His assignment was territorial, not food for his father's house. Guard the voices around you, beware the Delilahs (male or female) who hunt your vulnerability, and know that some old habits, once God opens a new season, can cause "destiny extinction". God's presence never left; we were absent while carrying it, like a colleague who snored through a meeting with a senior UN official.
Fourth service (Matthew 9:27-31): two blind men followed Jesus. "When your revelation increases, your manifestation will abound", and faith can make a kairos happen. He taught how to see in darkness: by mercy ("Son of David, have mercy on us"), so give people the gift of mercy because you do not know when you will need it; by faith, the Greek pisteuo being total reliance, like sitting on a church chair without checking its legs; by a decluttered spirit, illustrated by an email account that received a backlog of messages the moment he bought more storage; by divine direction, including obeying the leaders set over you (Hebrews 13:17), and if you cannot, find another church; and by the right relationships, like the four friends of the paralytic. The devil is not creative: he brings back the temptation you fell for before, so tell him "this far and no further". God has put a bet on you, as he did on Abraham.
Testimonies across the day included parents in their 90s granted UK visas after seven refusals in 12 years, two kidney and bladder stones that fell off without surgery, a woman who passed her ICAN finals after 21 attempts and married at 42 with three siblings married the same season, an escape from kidnappers who apologised and returned everything, a software engineering first class with US$100,000 in Microsoft credits, a written-off car whose driver walked away, four workers saved when a steering rack came off after Thursday's service at the new church, and a role in the presidency.

In the fourth service, visitors from outside Nigeria were called out for prayer.
Testimonies played / recapped
First and second services (testifiers introduced as Stella, Anaya and Justinta, names from ASR):
- UK visas at 90 and nearly 100: a sister in the UK since 2014 tried for 12 years, seven times, from Abuja and Lagos, to bring their parents over and was refused each time. The family got serious on the altar in 2023. The 2026 appointment fell on an "Oh Lord show me mercy" Wednesday; they prayed on the altar first, the email came on Friday, two days later, and the passports came back with the visa stamped.
- Mother's kidney stone: after a word on kidney stones in 2022/2023 something like a stone passed and she could urinate again. It returned in 2024 and surgery was booked at a quoted 3 million naira; at a catheter check in the family doctor's theatre, the stone fell off. No recurrence since.
- Auxiliary nurse healed after 15 years: ulcer pain and dependence on pentazocine injections, an open wound on her leg, then a bladder stone found in the UAE with a 21,000 dirham bill (about 8 million naira then). A sister set her up on NSPPD in December 2023; from the second day she ate beans, yam and bread she had not eaten in 15 years. A January word on bladder stones, BP that had read 200/190 came down, the injections stopped. After the "abandoned project" prayer in 2024 she built her house and a clinic named for "the God who sees me", the one of eight girls and one boy her family said would never amount to anything.
- Chartered accountant after 21 attempts, married at 42: writing ICAN since 2013 with a recurring dream of failing to find her seat; nine papers took 21 sittings. After a word about exams and that dream she passed her final paper in November 2025 and was inducted in May 2026. A friend's property deal stalled for two years was finally handed over. After a word about relationships ending at the first physical meeting, a man praying for a "mature" wife saw her birthday video; traditional marriage 6 December 2025, then a younger sister's marriage on 25 March, an elder brother's bride price on 5 April and white wedding on 6 April, a younger sibling's white wedding on 7 April, and her own white wedding on 30 May.
Third service (Linda, Alice, Ezekiel, Christoel, Annie, Austin named as testifiers):
- Fire on the head, accidents and kidnappers: a ten-year attack of burning on her head was named on her second day on the altar and reversed. On 22 October she escaped what looked like an accident twice in the same vehicle; on Friday 23 October kidnappers diverted the car towards Maraba, then turned back, apologised, "said it was a mistake" and returned everything.
- ICAN after 10 years: writing since about 2014; came to the Abuja altar in November 2024 before the result, prayed for it to be the last sitting, and was inducted as an associate member in 2025.
- From Port Harcourt: a 2023 court case he said would have swallowed him despite his innocence ended in victory; every blender in the house works; a son born with asthma has not used his inhaler in two years.
- Back to back after dropping out: she left university at 300 level in 2022 after the family's Canada plans were duped twice and an admission lapsed. She came to church on 3 September 2023, the day after the NSPPD US conference, when Pastor Jerry cried through the service. A week later she enrolled at a new open university, met a business partner, and started a B2C, then B2B tech company. US$2,000 in Google credits; one of three finalists from 11,000 applicants to a women's accelerator, which took her to Japan; selected among 3,200 of 260,000 for the Tony Elumelu Foundation US$5,000 grant; US$25,000 in server credits; US$100,000 in Microsoft credits after "global visibility"; a first class in software engineering in June. She turns 26 on 26 October.
Fourth service (Brother Daniel, Mr Ezekiel, Mr Michael, Sister Bella):
- 13 years to graduate: admitted in 2013, dropped out in 2018, a US visa refused in 2022 after praying. His mother pushed him onto the altar; he passed a cyber security certification in 2023 and was readmitted, then his first-semester results went missing. After "your name is on that list" his name went back on the graduating list, the missing scores turned up, and a 2:2 became "a very strong 2:1". After "you will celebrate" the family threw him a party, and a job came within two weeks of convocation.
- Written-off car, driver unhurt: his family had a dream of death about him and fasted without telling him. That weekend he anointed himself three days running with the oil blessed in the mid-year fast and drove his new car to church first. Pastor Jerry said one of his favourite songs was "Glory to God in the highest", and it stayed in his head. On 9 August, on the airport road after a bridge, flood water took the steering; the car flipped and was written off at a spot known for deaths. A crash a few metres away killed its occupants. He climbed out unhurt.
- Four workers after Thursday's service at the new church: about 10:30 p.m. the Holy Spirit told the driver to take the longer route right through Jabi despite low fuel. The steering began to shake and stopped responding; he was singing, his foot came off the pedal, and the car drifted right and stopped. Tuesday's word had been "they will not gather to tell you sorry". The steering rack had come loose; the mechanic admitted his apprentice forgot to tighten it.
- Accidents averted, luggage restored, appointments: a tyre blew in the middle of a fast highway in January while she declared the oath prayers; the driver steadied it and pulled off. Luggage lost at Frankfurt last year came back in the fourth month after she put it on the altar, with compensation in US dollars. Arriving in Abuja for a three-month contract, she was offered a job in the presidency and now serves as senior adviser on developmental and administrative matters to the Senior Special Assistant to the President, and as deputy director of external affairs of a socio-political organisation. She credited "give me three months of your time".
Words of knowledge / healing declarations
- First service decrees: "the tumour dried up", evil reports reversed, satanic transactions and exchange of destinies broken, "your name is on that list", "you will not die prematurely, you will not die and leave your children behind", "that woman will carry babies", "the burial season is over... 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 more years".
- Named conditions: pancreatic cancer, intestinal failure, migraine, anaemia, fibroid, ovarian and hormonal problems, and one caption phrase "SEDRA" (unclear), "get out"; evil garments of reduction and covering, disappear.
- To one person: the recurring dream of walking in mud is broken. To another: "You are the one that will bring the light back to your family."
- "Before the 1st of November": an altar call for everyone who needs the Most High to show up before then; "every power of delay... this is October, you will not enter November with it".
- After the first communion: "The Lord will block it before it happens", and a power "with seven faces, the face of a dragon, the face of a chimpanzee, the face of a vulture" that says it will not happen, broken.
- Second service: "Between now and the middle of November, that thing that will look like a dream... let it become your reality"; "There is an attack on your focus. The devil wants to recreate your past in your present", with the power to say no and shut the door.
- "Before Monday becomes Tuesday, there will be a shout of joy in your house." "On Monday morning you are going to see a different result." "What you have waited for for years will arrive this week."

Important message
- The Most High showing up is often a revelation you start walking in. He was never on leave. Many evidences hang on instructions and teachings you have heard but are not living. What you believe is your being; you have to live it.
- Prayer and fasting are for faith. They are not an activity. If your faith level is the same after the fast, after NSPPD, after the testimonies, you missed the point; the biggest answer a fast gives is risen faith, and in an atmosphere of faith impossibilities do not exist.
- Never process your journey without the Lord. "Lord, I believe" while he is in view; unbelief rises the moment it is only about you. Unbelief feeds on your yesterday, on the world's systems and on unbelieving believers around you. A temptation to doubt is not the same as a heart of unbelief.
- Guard who you listen to. Your faith is as strong as the three people you talk to most. Stay out of the company of faith extinguishers, and watch the voices in your head as God prunes those around your purpose, as he pruned Gideon's army.
- Your identity is the constant; everything else is a variable. A disappointment, a frown or last week's failure does not change that you are favoured, anointed and forgiven. God did not leave; you left. Do not let the devil turn a variable into a constant.
- You already carry the might. "Go in this thy might." Latent power cannot fulfil destiny. Your assignment is territorial, not survival: you may be the revival of the strange acts of God in your family. God will not show up for you without your participation.
- Some doors close for good in a new season. Old jokes and old habits can cause destiny extinction. The devil is not creative; he recycles the temptation you fell for. That you fell before does not stop you speaking against it now.
- See in darkness by mercy, faith, a fed spirit, direction and the right people. Mercy you show is mercy you withdraw later, but mercy is no licence to live in sin. Believing is total reliance. Increase the storage of your spirit, because what God has released will not be re-sent. Honour the leaders God set over you. Be a value giver, not just a value taker.
- Move from normal living to disciplined living. God respects sacrifice; random ten-minute prayer lives will not carry this season. Aim for at least an hour with consistency.
- The church's move is a prophetic picture. Today is the last day on this level: as the church crosses into its "wealthy place", every negativity that came into the building ends today, and "your address has changed already".
