DOMINION IN ALL SPHERES - PART 5

The Word & Fire midweek service opened with extended worship and a call to surrender the mind: "casting down every imagination that seems to exalt itself above the knowledge of God." The congregation was led to declare, "I wouldn't come the same and go back the same," and to ask the Holy Ghost to invade their space so that "as your word comes, I dominate in every area, I dominate in every sphere."

A long fire-prayer section followed, framed around the dominion mandate. Pastor Jerry called this "the penultimate week" of the 40 Days of Power, Miracles and Manifestations - next week being the last week and "the week of our papa's birthday" - and told the church to be intentional because "this is transition." Prayers went against every affliction and pattern resisting the dominion mandate ("every affliction that has escaped from January till this moment tonight, you will not escape"), and declared "no space" for negativity over August, September, October, November and December. He led decrees in the order of Gideon (blow the trumpet, break the pitcher), Balaam ("he hath blessed and it cannot be reversed"), Elijah ("go and show yourself unto Ahab"), David (pursue, overtake, recover all), and Joash ("who is sitting on my throne, on my portion? You are a liar"). Repeatedly the church shouted, "I will not bow."

The message came out of Daniel 3, read in full (verses 1-30) by the congregation. Pastor Jerry's through-line: the devil cannot remove your dominion mandate, so he attacks your sight and your hearing. Nebuchadnezzar's first move against the three Hebrew boys was to erect an image - "there is no imagination without an image." When the devil gives you an image of failure, sickness, obituary or emptiness, he then stretches it in your imagination, and "some of you think you are brilliant prayer warriors but you are not praying anything - you are praying fear." Hence the correction: "the only way to pull down the wrong imagination is to destroy the image that brought it."

He tied Daniel 3 to Revelation 13: John the Revelator saw an image given life, and as many as would not worship it were to be killed. The lesson by progressive revelation - "any image you don't destroy, after a while you will see it receiving life, because you've imagined it for a while." Alongside sight comes sound: Nebuchadnezzar's music, and today "a sound of an evil report, a sound of depression, a sound of emptiness, a sound of loneliness." The charge: "Nothing should be louder than the sound of the word that is rooted in your spirit."

Two further points. From Daniel 2 to Daniel 3, Nebuchadnezzar took a spiritual dream and manufactured it into a physical image - "don't make spiritual things physical." Pastor Jerry applied it as: you have no business explaining your spirituality to an unspiritual mind, and "don't go and beg when it is a battle; everything is not by conversation, some things are by warfare." Then, from Hebrews 11:34, he gave the day's key: the three Hebrew boys entered the furnace carrying faith, "so their faith became their fire extinguisher even though they were in the fire. Their faith did not put off the fire, but their faith quenched the violence of the fire." - "I look like I'm in the fire, but the fire's got no violence on me. I'm coming out of this fire better than I went in."

The service closed with offerings, tithes and partnership waved as a wave offering, the announcement block, and a blessing over the house: "I decree, you have quenched the violence of the fire."

1. The dominion mandate is already given - God is not releasing a new one. "Have dominion" was spoken at creation; under the new covenant all power has been given. What increases is your revelation: "the more your revelation increases, the more your ability to dominate also begins to spread."
2. Dominion is combatant by definition. "Every time you hear the word dominion, that means there's an aggressor." Dysfunction in your family, attacks on your health, career, business or academics exist because God intends your dominion mandate to manifest.
3. On this side of eternity we do not negotiate. "We do not ask for the devil's permission… audacity is our lifestyle, our currency is faith, Zoe is our propeller."
4. The devil cannot take your mandate, so he attacks your sight and your hearing. He erects an image bigger than your dominion and bigger than the word, then stretches it into your imagination until fear - not faith - is what you are praying.
5. There is no imagination without an image. So do not try to fix the imagination - break the image that produced it. "You will be shocked at how many images the devil has given you" since Monday.
6. An image left standing eventually gains life. Daniel 3's image had no life; Revelation 13's image was given life. That is the progression: what you keep focusing on begins to happen around you.
7. Sound is the second front. Nebuchadnezzar's orchestra has a modern equivalent - the sound of an evil report, of depression, emptiness, loneliness. The louder those sounds rise, the lower the sound of your faith. "Nothing should be louder than the sound of the word that is rooted in your spirit."
8. Their response came from conviction, not from a fresh sign. God did not appear to Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego to reassure them before the furnace - "no drama." Their "we are not careful to answer thee in this matter" came out of an existing walk with God. If a new image makes you cry "God, where are you?", your relationship with God is the thing that needs attention.
9. Don't make spiritual things physical. Nebuchadnezzar turned a symbolic dream into a golden statue. Likewise: don't explain your spirituality to an unspiritual mind, "don't go and speak to them when you should be praying," and "don't go and beg when it is a battle. Everything is not by conversation. Some things are by warfare."
10. Faith does not always put out the fire - it quenches the violence of the fire. "I look like I'm in the fire, but the fire's got no violence on me… I'm coming out of this fire better than I went in." When God wants to make you a spectacle, He lets people watch you enter the fire; carry your faith in with you.
11. "Even if…" is the posture of dominion. "Our God is able to deliver us - but if not, we will not serve thy gods." The image showing you failure, being stranded, or yesterday better than today is a liar.

Today / this season

• Cast down every imagination and image the enemy has erected over you, your family and your career - "let them be broken right now" - rather than trying to manage the imagination it produced.
• Audit the last few days: recall the images the devil has handed you since Monday and refuse them: "I do not agree with that image."
• Refuse to pray fear. Pray the word, not the picture.
• Shut down every sound that does not sound like Arroi; keep the word louder than the report.
• Declare through the fire prayers: "I will not bow," "I dominate in all spheres," "I arise, I recover lost ground, I reclaim my place in destiny, I dust off my talents and giftings," "pursue, overtake, recover all."
• Declare "no space" for affliction and negativity over August, September, October, November and December.
• Be intentional this week - it is transition into the final week of the 40 days.
• Don't explain spiritual things to unspiritual minds; take battles to prayer instead of conversation.
• Give offerings, tithes and partnership as a wave offering; take part in the church building project (details on screen).
• Tell your neighbour "I am in charge, I have dominion," and share with them what blessed you in the service.
• Pray in the Holy Ghost, and speak fire over fourteen people around you at the close.

Tomorrow / upcoming

• Come for Day 33 of the 40 days tomorrow - "Honour and Favour" - and invite friends and family; special prayers against delay, stagnation and raging battles.
