DOMINION IN ALL SPHERES - PART 4

This is the Thursday evening Word & Fire service - the first Thursday of August and the first one after the NSPPD America Conference. It opens with an extended praise and worship block ("Sing hallelujah", "I will not be silent", "Great is Thy faithfulness", "You are the living God", "Silence the noise in my heart"), then a long fire-prayer session from the altar before Pastor Jerry preaches Part 4 of the Dominion in All Spheres series.

The prayer session sets the frame: "Lord, empower me for dominion - for my industry, for my family, for my business, for my marriage, for everything that has my name on it." Worshippers are told to draw a bloodline around their God-ordained portion and declare "access denied" over negativity, sickness, failure and death; to shout "this day" over every Goliath that has dominated them; to cross their Jordan and put their feet where God has promised; and to declare "I rule in the midst of my enemies" from Psalm 110:2. The altar leader notes that "our papa taught us last Thursday" that in the Old Testament the mandate of dominion was given, and that in this new dispensation the life of dominion has been given - and that "Arroi is creating more vacancies, Arroi is raising more men and women for dominion." August is named a month of wonders - "walking into your wonders" - and the fire is tied back to what God did at the America Conference: "the same way lamps did not escape the fire of God in the America Conference, that mantle is upon you."

Pastor Jerry then takes Hebrews 11:22 (KJV and TPT) and Psalm 105:17-20, and continues x-raying the life of Joseph. His foundation is the TPT line: "Faith inspired Joseph and opened his eyes to see into the future." He first reminds the church that the dominion mandate predates the covenants - Elijah decreed no rain, Joshua stopped the sun, Moses divided the sea - and that "what you say is what will happen; what you choose not to say is what will never happen."

The teaching then walks Joseph through three relationships, none of which brought him to his throne. The loving relationship (his father, the coat of many colours): "Don't let them love you out of the will of God… don't let them love you in such a way your cutting edge becomes blunt." A throne in Egypt was calling his name, and heaven allowed the coat to be torn - "Lord, tear the coat that my dream may come out." The transactional relationship (brothers and the Midianites): never complain that people are using you - "they are using me because I am useful" - and never let your worth rest on what people are selling you for; let it rest on your dreams and your revelation. He adds the sharp word, "Don't sell what you will eventually come back to buy" - the brothers came back to Egypt to buy the very wisdom, revelation and management of the brother they sold. The compromising relationship (Potiphar's wife): the fierceness of a temptation is the sign that a throne is near, and "any new season you are building on compromise will collapse."

His closing turn is about interpreting another man's dream. Joseph's own dream had no interpretation and never took him to the throne; it was Pharaoh's dream, interpreted by him, that did. So the manifestation of your dream is tied to how you handle someone else's - in the office, in the boardroom, among friends: "I'm a dream interpreter. I'm here to interpret excellence, focus, passion, resilience." He tells his own story of working on a World Bank HIV/AIDS project, doing every kind of work across strategic behaviour change, community mobilisation and monitoring, and finding at a later UNFPA interview that he could answer every question - "when I was busy interpreting other people's dream, I was busy developing capacity." He lands on: "Dominion most of the time is not about who is number one - dominion is about who has the influence. Grow your influence; don't necessarily seek positions."

The service closes with the offering (tithes, offering and partnership raised as a wave offering), announcements, a blessing - "may you live in perfect dominion in every sphere of your life" - the Psalm 91 declaration, and the congregation sent to scream "I am in charge" into 21 people's ears.

1. The dominion mandate is not a cliché. It predates the testaments - God gave the earth to the sons of men, and dominion was on His mind when He looked for sons to thrust authority upon. Elijah decreed no rain, Joshua stopped the sun, Moses divided the sea; the same mandate rests on you.
2. Your mouth sets your boundary. "What you say is what will happen; what you choose not to say is what will never happen." Life and death are in the power of the tongue.
3. The devil's strategy is to keep calling you a baby - too flawed, too unqualified, without the capacity. As long as the heir believes he is a child, he lives like a slave.
4. Faith is what opened Joseph's eyes to the future. The same faith that gave him his dreams was still at work at his death. Dominion begins with seeing.
5. Don't let love cost you your throne. The coat of many colours was real love, but it did not look like where God was taking him. "Don't let them love you out of the will of God; don't let them love you in such a way your cutting edge becomes blunt." Heaven allowed the coat to be torn so the dream could come out - one day Joseph could thank his brethren for tearing it.
6. Never resent being used - you are being used because you are useful. The work others leave for you is capacity you are quietly developing.
7. Do not let anyone price you. Let your worth rest on your dreams and your revelation and on what God says, not on what people are willing to sell you for. "The day you will disappoint God is the day you start measuring your worth by what they think you are." Pattern your life by other people's pricing and one day you will sell yourself for nothing.
8. Don't sell what you will eventually come back to buy. The brothers who sold Joseph came back to Egypt to buy his wisdom, his revelation and his management. Not everything is a trade.
9. The fierceness of a temptation is the sign that a throne is near. But any new season built on compromise will collapse - no other foundation can be laid than the one already laid.
10. Garments are identities, and God collects the ones that don't match your future - coats of comfort, mindsets and perceptions, attacks on the mind, the lies the devil sold you, fear, anxiety, unforgiveness, doubt, lack of focus. If He tears one and the devil hands you another, He will tear that one too.
11. Your dream manifests through another man's dream. Joseph's own dream had no interpretation; Pharaoh's did. Interpret other people's dreams - in the office, the boardroom, among friends - with excellence, focus, passion and resilience, and it becomes the platform for your own.
12. Dominion is influence, not position. "Dominion is not about who is number one, but who has the influence. Grow your influence; don't necessarily seek positions." There are people in positions with no influence, and people with influence and no position.

Today / this season

• Come asking for more than a meeting: "Lord, I have come for a touching, for a lifting, for transformation, for empowerment for this dominion mandate - I cannot do it on my own."
• Pray in the Holy Ghost: "there is no dominion without the Holy Ghost."
• Draw a bloodline by the blood of Jesus around your God-ordained portion - family, career, children - and declare "this far and no further; access denied" to negativity, sickness, disease, failure and death.
• Take prophetic steps: cross your Jordan, put your feet in your promise, your answers, your overflow, your higher level.
• Declare and keep declaring: "I have dominion," "I dominate," "I rule in the midst of my enemies," "I am in charge," "I tear the coat," "I take away the garment."
• Ask God to remove any garment, relationship or comfort that does not look like where He is taking you: "Lord, if I like it but it doesn't look like you, take it away."
• Stop complaining about being used; keep interpreting other people's dreams and building capacity.
• Refuse compromise outright - "I've come too far from where I started from; I'm not doing this anymore."
• Bring your tithe, offering and partnership and raise it as a wave offering; be part of the church building project.
• Tell your neighbours "dominion" and "I am in charge," share what blessed you tonight, and at the close scream "I am in charge" into 21 people's ears.
• Don't make it a culture to come to service without your Bible.
