OH LORD SHOW ME MERCY

Day 24 of the 40 Days of Power, Miracles and Manifestation, broadcast from America (Streams of Joy Houston) on the last morning of the US leg before the altar returns to Nigeria. The service opened in worship and fire - "we know you are here… precious Holy Spirit" - with early prophetic words: nothing will go wrong at the sound of your amen, no family record of premature death, "Lazarus is not dead… wake up," and a word to every woman believing for the fruit of the womb to "carry your evidence right now." The salvation call came early, before the main prayer.

The whole prayer was one cry, repeated after the pastor line by line: "My father, my father, show me mercy." He led the congregation to plead mercy on the ground of Scripture rather than performance - coming boldly to the throne of grace, trusting the blood that speaks better things than that of Abel, appealing to Aroi, "the God who sees me, the God who knows my name," the God of my journey. He named the places mercy is needed: "where I have failed… where I have been disqualified… where I have run out of options… where there is no one to talk to… where I am broken… where I am hopeless."

From there the prayer turned to reversal. "By your mercy, let it be reversed" - every chapter of shame, every chapter of pain, every journey of rising and falling, every journey of stagnation. He pressed that mercy is God's sovereignty ("I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy"), and that God is a merciful high priest who was afflicted in all their affliction. He asked for "a token for good," an evidence of mercy, and announced a 24-hour mercy intervention, a change of story, help nobody planned for, and "you will laugh your laugh before the end of this week."

The words of knowledge section ran long - cancers, bleeding, prolapse, a leg due for amputation, two family members in ICU - each answered with "the devil is a liar, let it be reversed," and the instruction to put it on the live stream if it applied to you. The woman of God and the man of God each prayed for mercy before the pastor gave the closing declarations, and the congregation was told to kneel and put whatever they wanted mercy for beside their device.

Three testimonies from the NSPPD USA conference were replayed: a widow from Boston whose son was paid to attend Harvard and whose daughter finished medical school; a Maryland mother, Wida, whose daughter Agnes Miracle Sely was healed of a fluid build-up after two long surgeries and whose hospital bill was cleared; and a 72-year-old woman from Minnesota whose open wound of almost 50 years (from 1977) closed after communion, and whose piriformis syndrome ("performance syndrome" in the captions) was named on the altar and healed. The service closed in three communions, thanks to America, and one watchword shouted over and over: "The mercy of God has prevailed."

Testimonies played / recapped

• A young widow (living in Boston). Her husband travelled to Nigeria and slumped and died after a service. A friend in Houston sent her the NSPPD link in December 2020; she began following in January 2021 after Pastor Jerry "mentioned the case of a young widow" - she jumped out of bed, put both hands on the TV screen and claimed it. Her son was accepted and paid to attend Harvard on scholarship for four years, read computer science and is now working; her daughter got into medical school, took the MCAT after her mother wrote her name on the altar, passed, and has now graduated. Another son spent three years at Christ For The Nations and became a pastor. She also bought a house with her own money. Her daughter, who came to the conference on crutches, got up and left them behind.
• The Achilles injury (same conference). A young woman seen in the emergency room on a Monday with a confirmed partial tear of the insertional Achilles tendon, unable to bear full weight and required to wear a support at all times, felt the support come loose during prayer, stood, put her weight on it and moved without the crutches.
• Wida and her daughter Agnes Miracle Sely (Maryland; family from Liberia). After surgery in Liberia the daughter had back pain from 2019, was misdiagnosed and treated for TB on 22 tablets a day, then lost feeling in her legs. An MRI revealed the real problem; in January 2024 she had two seven-hour surgeries (her lung collapsed in the first), and fluid kept draining afterwards. During the 21-day fast, on the Sunday service of 24 January, the word was "ask and ye shall receive"; the mother laid hands on her daughter and asked for the fluid to be reversed. At 5 a.m. Monday the doctor found the fluid stopped - "this must be a miracle" - no third surgery, the tube came out, discharged 2 February. On 24 February Pastor Jerry called out "someone had open-heart surgery and the reason for the surgery is coming back - we reverse it," and after that word the daughter, who had not been walking, got up and walked to her mother. The hospital bill (caption digits: 237,637.66) was cleared without her paying it. She testified with her ambulance and her daughter present.
• A 72-year-old woman (Minnesota). Two testimonies. (1) In 1977, as a girl in a foster home, a Coca-Cola bottle broke on her foot; the wound never closed for almost 50 years, constantly running fluid, needing to be scraped with a razor blade to apply medicine. After joining NSPPD in 2022 and hearing "every open wound, let it seal up," she mixed holy communion into her lotion, greased her body, something fell off - the wound was dry, no liquid, no hardness. By 2027 it would have been 50 years. (2) After a fall at work her foot went numb; more than 20 (she also said 50) doctors in Minnesota could not diagnose it until a Chinese doctor named piriformis syndrome (captioned "performance syndrome") - the sciatic nerve running through a damaged muscle, no surgery possible, injections for the rest of her life. In November 2024, on the altar, Pastor Jerry called out the syndrome by name, and she was healed. She ran across the front; the woman of God said the song it brought to mind was "Satan, shame unto you, all power belongs to Jesus."

Words of knowledge / healing declarations

Each answered with "The devil is a liar - let it be reversed," and "If you are the one, put it on the live stream":

• Fainting spells; sleeping and being unable to wake up, needing people to hit you until you wake (but you are not dead)
• Gastric cancer

Other prophetic announcements:

• Before 7 p.m. Nigerian time, the Lord will show someone that his hand is upon their life.
• In the next 24 hours there will be a change of story; receive a 24-hour mercy intervention.
• In less than 48 hours - "early mercy satisfaction."
• "You will laugh your laugh before the end of this week."
• "You will hear good news today that will remind you of today's prayer."
• Settlement declared over career, debt, bonds, marriage, crisis, household, and every family Goliath.
• "After this USA conference, things will not remain the same again" - career, health, children, business, siblings.

1. Mercy is God's sovereignty, not your performance. "Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid - I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy." You do not qualify for mercy; you receive it. So the prayer is not a defence of your record but a plea: "All I ask is mercy."
2. Mercy is the ground on which failure is answered. The cry was built for the places of failure, disqualification, brokenness, hopelessness and running out of options - mercy meets you exactly there.
3. God is a high priest who feels it. He was made like one of us; in all their affliction he was afflicted; the Lord is pitiful and of tender mercies. He knows "the language of our tears," and he is "the God of our journey."
4. Mercy rewrites history. "He that rewrites history with mercy" - chapters of shame and pain get reversed, guilt is thrown away, and what the devil planned as your ending will not be your ending.
5. Mercy produces visible evidence. He would not settle for an inward feeling: "Show me a token for good, that those that hate me without a cause may see it and be ashamed." Men will see and know; nations will hear and shout that the Lord has shown me mercy.
6. Your labour is not in vain and the devil will not have the last word. "Relax - it will not end this way. The blood of Jesus is speaking for you, for your family, for your children." That mistake will not work against you.
7. Every word spoken is for someone. No matter how weird or unbelievable a word of knowledge sounds, it belongs to a real person; the miracle on the altar is hearing things he does not know, believing they exist, speaking them, and God confirming them - "if you speak it, you'll be the one that will bring it, but to God who does wonders without number."
8. Transitions are not coincidences for a man of the spirit. As the altar leaves America and returns to Nigeria, he read the moment as a God-appointed transition, and pressed the congregation to carry the mercy word into it.
9. The testimony God gives you will shame the devil (from the woman of God) - and what is falling now is the former and the latter rain together, poured out to the capacity of those who can handle it (from the man of God).
