OH LORD SHOW ME MERCY

Day 17 of the 40 Days of Prayer, Miracles and Mercy was the mid-week mercy altar. Pastor Jerry opened in fire and prophetic declaration - wheelchairs "lifted up", "whatever that followed you here, you will not live with it", "the sound of your family will no longer record premature death" - and told the congregation that where men had written their conclusions, God was opening a glorious chapter. He promised that before 7:00 p.m. Nigerian time God would show people He had heard them, and that in less than 24 hours their light would shine.

The body of the service was one long mercy cry. For close to an hour the altar simply repeated "Oh Lord, show me mercy" and "Mercy Lord", with Pastor Jerry stacking Scripture on Scripture as the ground of the appeal: mercies new every morning, goodness and mercy following all the days of life, mercy and truth going before God's throne, the Father of all mercies, the rock that is higher than I, "thou wilt perfect all that concerns me, because your mercy endures forever." He prayed as one with no other option - "You did not bring me this far to abandon me on the way… You did not bring me this far to let the devil have the last word. All I am asking is mercy."

Out of the mercy cry came reversal. He commanded the irreversible to be reversed: sickness that repeats in a family, guilt and shame no one could name, ordinances of death and failure, addictions - all under the blood of Jesus, with forgiveness declared over anyone who came to the altar with sin still on them. A long stream of words of knowledge followed, each answered with "if you are the one, put it on the live stream - the devil is a liar - I announce, let it be reversed." He then had everyone put their prayer request beside their device, kneel, and receive the declaration he said Arroi gave him to say three times: "The mercy of God has settled it."

Three testimonies were played and recapped, all tied to NSPPD America Prayer Conference 2025: a woman healed of a lump in the breast and later given the baby girl she asked for; a family whose husband/father collapsed and could not walk, speak or feed himself, and who got up and ran across the parlour during the America conference broadcast; and a man in Abuja whose visa medical showed a lung finding, who refused medication, prayed with the altar's "let it be reversed", got a clean GGCC-standard result and vowed to quit alcohol and shisha and serve God for life. The longest testimony was a mother in the UK whose son was born at 23 weeks 2 days - the second-youngest neonate to survive in the UK - with brain bleeds, necrotising enterocolitis, retinopathy, a hole in the heart, chronic lung and bone disease. The doctors promised nothing; every condition disappeared, he walks and runs, and he has just graduated nursery. She told the consultant of 23 years: "my son will be the point where you start another research again."

Pastor K closed the reflection with the line of the day about that consultant: "God has been practising for eternity. Compared to His experience, every expert is a learner." The service ended with the salvation call, three communions, the conference announcements, Psalm 91 declared aloud, and seven rounds of "Congratulations."

Communion

Three servings, over any liquid and any substance to hand:

1. "The mercy of God has settled it."
2. "The mercy of God has settled it" (repeated).
3. Communion of answers - kneel and ask the Lord for three things you desire of Him.

Offering / seed

• He asked everyone to kneel and put together a seed of thanksgiving, narrating over it "the mercy of God has settled it", with the charge "whatever the Lord asks you to do, go ahead and do it." Declaration over the seed: no devil can undo it, everything has aligned for your favour, "they will say yes now."

Testimonies played / recapped

• Woman with a lump in the breast - healed after the declaration "every lump in the breast… by the power that raised Jesus from the dead, we command life" at NSPPD America Conference 2025; she woke with no lump. She had also asked God for a baby girl; after the conference declaration "women who desire to carry their baby, receive it", she tested positive in August, named the daughter immediately before any scan, had a smooth nine months, and delivered on 2 April - "this is my evidence."
• Family whose husband/father collapsed - on 13 July (last year), while the family watched football, he was found shaking with his mouth pulled to one side, and afterwards could not walk, speak or feed himself. The wife prayed on the ground: "O earth, hear me as I hear the Lord - you will not swallow the body of my husband." On 19 July, during the NSPPD America Conference broadcast ("do what you've never done before… those legs receive strength"), the family came out of the kitchen to find him running from one end of the parlour to the other. By Sunday morning he could feed himself and move unaided.
• Iken, Abuja (surname unclear in captions) - a visa medical for Kuwait returned a lung finding (captions garble it as "long pneumonia"). He refused medication, joined the prayer, and heard "let every lung pneumonia be reversed." He vowed to stop alcohol and shisha and serve God for life; the repeat GGCC-standard chest test came back completely clean - "they did not detect anything."
• UK mother, a medical professional - heavy bleeding with clots in pregnancy whose source was never found (the placenta was sent to researchers and the cause is unknown to date). Under the word "you will not lose that pregnancy", her son was born at 23 weeks 2 days on 5 May, the second-youngest neonate to survive in the UK, after two miscarriages. He needed CPR, went to NICU, was transferred from Royal Preston Hospital to Liverpool Women's Hospital, and was diagnosed with necrotising enterocolitis (about 11.4 cm of small-intestine obstruction, corrected in theatre), bilateral brain bleeds, neonatal retinopathy, a hole in the heart, chronic lung disease, chronic bone disease, plus liver and kidney problems. Declarations she held on to: 6 May - "your child will not be brought back to you as a corpse"; 24 May - "your labour will not be in vain"; 18 August mercy prayer (7 hr 20 min in) - "there is one thing you've been asking of the Lord." She told the consultant of 23 years, "do what you have to do as a medical person; the ones you cannot do, his Father will fix it." The brain bleeding disappeared on repeat scan after repeat scan (neurosurgeons had already planned a stent to drain it), the retinopathy disappeared, the chronic bone and lung disease disappeared, his organs are fine. Told he might never come off oxygen, might feed by NG tube for years, might not walk before age 7 or might be in a wheelchair for life - he was running around at two, and has now graduated nursery and starts preschool next September. She brought the boy to the altar for Pastor Jerry to hold.

Words of knowledge / healing declarations

Each answered with "if you are the one, put it on the live stream - the devil is a liar - I announce, let it be reversed."

• New names announced: "your new name is married, pregnancy, celebration, congratulated, another beginning."

1. Mercy is the ground you stand on when you have no other ground. "Unworthy, but yet we ask for mercy. Undeserving, but yet we cry out for mercy." Jacob crossed with a staff and came back a multitude by mercy he never qualified for.
2. Mercy outranks every verdict. "What can your mercy not change? Which report can your mercy not reverse? What kind of sin can your mercy not remove?" Men may have concluded and written their report - mercy reverses it.
3. God does not bring you halfway. "You did not bring me this far to abandon me on the way. You did not bring me this far to let the devil have the last word." Don't let them ask us, "where is your God?"
4. Mercy rewrites identity, not only circumstances. "I am who I am by the mercy of God… I am a product of divine mercy, not of mistakes, failures or fears. The mercy of God is my definition, my description and my ultimate identity."
5. Forgiveness is available at the altar right now - "I don't care what you did before you came to the altar; receive forgiveness now." And with it comes the power to say no and not return to that unrighteousness.
6. Where men wrote their conclusions, your glorious chapter is opening. "Your mistakes have become a miracle." The mercy of God has settled it, and no devil can undo it; affliction will not rise a second time.
7. Rejoice at another's testimony even before your own. "Even if God has not answered your own prayer, when you see the one he has done for others, you tell God: this God, I will serve you."
8. No expert outranks God. "God has been practising for eternity - compared to his experience, every expert is a learner."
