14 DAYS PRAYER & FASTING

This is the first Sunday of the second half of 2026 and day 7 of the 14-day prayer and fasting. Pastor Jerry frames the whole day as the crossing point "from prayers to answers, from heart desires to evidence" - a festival of answers - and opens with a long prophetic shout, a day-by-day declaration over the coming week, and mass warfare against "joy blockers": "Today I announce my joy is full. My answers are here."

The teaching is one message preached four ways. From Luke 15 he takes not the prodigal but the elder brother - "the man with no joy" - who had to have music and dancing explained to him. Joy is lost, he says, when you are fixated on what has happened instead of on who the Father is; the elder brother knew everything going on but did not know his father, and he asked for a kid when the father had a fatted calf already fattening for a celebration he was expecting. From 1 Samuel 1 he takes Hannah: "Peninnah is not my prayer point. Samuel is my prayer point." Praying away Peninnah does not bring Samuel - but when Samuel comes, Peninnah has nothing to say. Eli, who spoke to her spirituality, moved what Elkanah, who only serviced her emotions, could not; and "the word of God changed her countenance, not her miracle." From Luke 1 he takes Zechariah, whose earlier prayer was answered in the place of service, and whose son was to be named John - grace - because the answer would come by grace, not by labour. Zechariah was struck dumb where Mary was not, because "there are things I expect you, by your journey, never to question." And in the final service he preaches "Intentionally living in joy" from Galatians 5 - joy is not a fruit standing alone but part of one fruit, and it is anchored on the word and released through prayer: "No prayer, no joy."

Running through all of it: joy is a fruit of the spirit expressed in the soul, not an emotional outburst. "Joy is not a product of what God has done for me, but joy is a product of who God is to me." Happiness is emotional, joy is spiritual. The opposite of anxiety is joy. Joy does selective seeing - like Jesus, who "for the joy that was set before him endured the cross." Joy is the believer's weapon, access, defence, atmosphere and energy; when you leak joy you leak destiny strength, so guard it, avoid joyless people, and become a joy carrier yourself.

Ministry was heavy. He prayed over children between 11 and 3, pregnant women, PCOS, kidney stones, tonsils, eye and skin infections, and someone due to begin chemotherapy; released "a mantle of perfection and completion" and, while a testifier was speaking, "another mantle of restoration" for anything lost - money, career, opportunity, helper, spouse. He also gave a dated word: between the 21st and the 26th of July, no parent under his voice will bury a child.

Testimonies were extraordinary: a widow roofed her late husband's 13-room house after a 16-year pattern; Dr. Flora testified to a colleague's baby after 10 years, a job, financial breakthrough and protection from armed robbers; Ajuru/Ediro - "the lady the internet was looking for last year" - told of being stripped of everything by a manipulative "prophetess", and of over ₦83 million income since March, a new five-bedroom workspace and full restoration one year after walking away. Others followed: a woman turning 70 healed of cervical spondylosis and arthritis; a driver whose brakes failed and who says she left and returned to her body; Stephanie, whose Canadian study fees and settlement approval came through on the 20th day of the January fast; and a woman delivered from chicken feathers and years of loss who moved into her finished three-bedroom terrace the day before, ahead of her 7 July birthday.

He closes back on the fast: "The most important part of your fasting is what you do after the fasting." Stay on the altar. And he promises to continue "intentionally living in joy" next Sunday.

• Monday - No more delay (delays in family, career, health, children, expectations, prophecy, transition gates, territorial delays, delays in evidence). Scriptures given: 1 Samuel 1:1-20, John 5:1-15, Mark 5:25-34, Luke 1:5-25 and 57-80 (caption garbled), Isaiah 65:25, Romans 9:28.
• Tuesday - Arise, O Lord, let your enemies be scattered (Numbers 10).
• Wednesday - My help has come.
• Thursday - Rain of answers: it is my time and my turn.
• Friday - Dry bones will live again.
• Saturday - Operation stop the stoppers.
• Sunday - It has ended in praise - congratulations (end of the fast).
• Bring an expectation list of 14 expectations for the second half of the year, and a "destroyed by fire" list; bring duplicate copies. Saturday's and Sunday's lists were both torn in this service.

Testimonies played / recapped

• Mrs. Grace - a 16-year pattern broken. Her father started a building and died; her husband started a building in 2010 and died in 2019; she was told she could never roof it. Introduced to NSPPD by her daughter on 28 October last year, on the altar from 10 December, joined the January fast with "give me a roof" as prayer point number one. On 13 March her son called, asked what troubled her, sent her to the village - and within two months the house was roofed: 13 rooms. She promised to return with a "mega testimony" for her father's house.
• Dr. Flora (Abuja; joined NSPPD 2021 through her mother) - four testimonies: (1) a former manager and his wife, childless for over 8-10 years, now parents, after years of her standing in for them in prayer; (2) a family member freed from a toxic job and given a full-package role with pension and insurance; (3) her own move out of a toxic job into a job she loves, confirmation secured against jealousy, now investing and building two properties; (4) armed robbers blew her door open at about 1 a.m. and took nothing - her phone lay on the bed untouched.
• Ajuru / Ediro - "the lady the internet was looking for last year". A successful fashion designer who was drawn in by an online "prophetess", told God was not in her business, made to sell everything (about ₦11m given away), leave her house, abandon her family, and was isolated and stripped to nothing in Abuja. She walked away in July last year with no money for a taxi, went through the foundation/discipleship classes, got her Instagram page restored during the 21-day fast on the 12th only to lose it again on 1 February, went to the Lagos conference to serve, and a Muslim client - "God raised a Cyrus for me" - restarted her. Since March she has made over ₦83 million naira with no Instagram and no adverts, rented a five-bedroom duplex workspace two minutes from a choice location, bought machines, and moved from one and a half tailors in a tiny BQ to a full production house. Pastor Jerry added the warning: chasing prophecy is addictive, and those voices can name what is wrong but have no capacity to correct or to speak your future.
• Daisy Awani (from Anambra State, turning 70 in December) - sacrificed jobs in the US and UK in 1991 for her family; her children now care for her and take her abroad. Healed of cervical spondylosis and arthritis and six years of shoulder pain; her son healed of a duodenal ulcer and H. pylori. Joined NSPPD in 2021; says her captivity turned from 2022 without her knowledge.
• A woman whose brakes failed on 21st of last month while driving to her sister's compound, after praying the "Oh earth" prayer on the Monday. The car hit a fence; she says she passed out, saw her body, saw a great light, and was told "My daughter, go back, I am not done with you yet." She and her passenger were pulled out alive. Her charge: never treat a prayer point on the altar as not concerning you.
• Stephanie (former Abuja banker) - joined the "Oh Lord show me mercy" prayer during COVID and got the promotion that had repeatedly slipped away; dreamed of Pastor Jerry giving her transport money, then a client credited her the exact tuition amount within two hours; got her visa and travelled. Abroad (Alberta, Canada) her account went into debit for a school fee; walking home crying she heard "Be still and know that I am God", and on Monday found a credit of the exact amount from a friend who had been prompted while praying that Saturday. She printed her evidence with a date, as instructed, and on the 20th day of the January fast, and again on 30 June, her settlement/permit application - which everyone said she was unqualified for - came back approved, for her and her family. She held on to the words "It has been settled by mercy" (24 June) and "God will use you to break protocol."
• A woman from Warri/Lagos - moved into a rented apartment in 2023 and began finding chicken feathers in the toilet, under her pillow and around the house, with noises and moving walls; neighbours confirmed the same. She lost over ₦6 million, her car and her shop, sold everything, tried a "mountain" prayer that failed, then read Psalm 62:11 and found Pastor Jerry declaring the 14-day media fast on Facebook. She dreamt of him insisting she write her prayer requests, wrote them, and within two months everything turned. God gave her a new car, a truck, and a finished three-bedroom terrace she moved into yesterday, fully furnished, ahead of her birthday on 7 July - spending less than the ₦3.1 million she was quoted. Her word to young women: "You don't need to sell your body to make money. God dey pay."
• A brother who flew in from Germany for the fast told the pastor by day three (Wednesday) that he had seen his wife in the congregation. Pastor Jerry recounted it twice, and issued a clear disclaimer: he does not know the man, he did not say it as "the word of the Lord", and both parties must do their own findings.

Words of knowledge / healing declarations

• Parents of children between 11 and 3: "your child will not die" - reversed.
• Between the 21st and the 26th of July, no parent here will bury any of their children; every arrangement for an obituary announcement reversed.
• PCOS reversed; pregnant women - no stillbirth, "your baby will not die in your womb."
• Tonsils ("tongites") that refuse to go; stones in the kidney; eye infections and skin infections - reversed.
• Someone due to begin chemotherapy: healing power before the chemotherapy begins.
• Powers over careers ("you will not pass this level"), rubbished certificates, "you will die on your throne / on your lifting / on your elevation", serpentine spirits monitoring families - reversed.
• To anyone whose joy is said to depend on one person's hands: "In 5 days, let the Lord open another door."
• Traps set and celebrated over - reversed; controversies you created for yourself - broken.
• A mantle of perfection and completion, and (while Ediro testified) another mantle of restoration for anything lost: money, career, finance, opportunity, helper, spouse.
• "Before tomorrow morning" - those who left one, two, three years ago return to celebrate and congratulate you.
• To the broken-hearted and heavily depressed, given specifically for first service: "let the joy of the Lord invade your heart."

First-timers and visitors

• First-timers and new members prayed for in every service: yokes broken, patterns broken, "whatever runs in the prophetic DNA of our ministry, let the same run in your life." Fill the usher's form and hand it in or drop it at the inquiry desk.
• Visitors who flew in for the fast were recognised from Zimbabwe, Liberia, San Francisco (California), Fiji, Sierra Leone, Kenya, Cameroon, Ghana, Canada and the UK.
• Ministry travel mentioned: California ("our church will come to California very soon"), Kenya, Canada ("already a short deal, just finishing touches"), and a UK conference at Old Trafford.

1. Joy is a fruit of the spirit that must find expression in your soul. It is not an emotional outburst of excitement but a knowing and a conviction that nothing will go wrong. Happiness is emotional; joy is spiritual. The opposite of anxiety is joy.
2. Joy is not a product of what God has done for you, but of who God is to you. That is why it holds before the answer arrives - "even if the fig tree do not blossom, yet I will rejoice."
3. Joy is the atmosphere in which answers are received. Sometimes it is not the eloquence of your prayer but the joy atmosphere you create that receives it. Joy calls the things that be not as though they were.
4. Guard your joy, because when they touch your joy they take your strength. The devil aims at your joy first, then disables everything else. Lose joy and you lose mental, spiritual and destiny strength.
5. The elder brother's problem was focus. He was vast in what was going on and ignorant of his father. You lose joy focusing on what is happening; God says keep your eyes on who I am. And he asked for a kid where the father had a fatted calf - his prayer was sized to a celebration he wasn't expecting.
6. Peninnah is not your prayer point; Samuel is. The devil upsets your emotions so you will pray about what upset you - but if the devil gave you the prayer point, it is not the will of God, and it will not be answered. Praying Peninnah away does not bring Samuel; when Samuel comes, Peninnah has nothing left to say.
7. The word changes your countenance before the miracle does. Hannah ate and her countenance was no more sad while she was still childless. "Go in peace" means walking out with a mindset of nothing missing, nothing broken - and the first answer God gives is that conviction, not the physical manifestation.
8. His name shall be John - grace. The evidence coming is defined by grace, not by your capacity or your labour; Elizabeth and Zechariah were both past it. God will put pressure on people who don't like your face until they do it.
9. There are things, by your journey, you are not permitted to question. Mary's question was excused; Zechariah's was not, because he was a priest who had read the scrolls. When in doubt after seven days of fasting, say "Yes, Lord" and shut your mouth.
10. Your answer can be delivered in the place of service. Zechariah's prayer was answered while he ministered for others. Begin to prioritise other people's prayer points; heaven takes note.
11. It is one fruit, not fruits. You cannot have joy without love, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance. That is why there are replies you don't give, battles you don't fight, and people you don't dignify.
12. No prayer, no joy. Joy is compartmentalised in prayer - that is why the fast has been one of the most joyful seasons for many, though they are not eating. If your joy is dwindling, don't diagnose your friends: check your prayer life.
13. Joy is anchored on the word. The sower's hearers received the word with joy; anxiety and cares choke it. If there is no word in you, panic moves in.
14. Joy has measures, and it is a weapon. "The measure of your joy is the sum total of your supernatural encounters." Make sure your joy is bigger than your challenge - some things will not go away until you find your joy in the middle of them.
15. People give you happiness; God gives you joy. If someone makes you feel good by explaining circumstances, that is happiness. If someone puts your heart at rest by explaining God, that is joy. Stop hanging around people to give what only God can give.
16. Be a joy carrier - and be a good human being. "Some of us are good Christians but we are not good human beings." When the mouth says "How are you?" the ear hears it; when the heart says it, the heart feels it.
17. The most important part of the fast is what happens after it. Don't finish 14 days and go to rest - posture and position yourself to receive, and stay on the altar.
18. A warning on prophecy addiction. Familiar spirits can tell you what is wrong because it is familiar; they cannot tell your future and they have no capacity to correct. Only God calls forth the things that be not as though they were.

• Declare and keep declaring: "My joy is full" - screamed no less than 21 times, and into the ears of seven (and later fourteen) neighbours.
• Block the joy blockers; call your evidence, testimony, answer, alignment and good news forward by name.
• Avoid and "block" people who have no joy; don't let anyone infiltrate your atmosphere - and don't look for joyless company while fasting.
• Guard your prayer life as the way you maintain joy; when joy dwindles, pray.
• Do prophetic actions: go to the shops and, even with no money, point at and choose the dress, the shoe, the thing you will wear on the day of your global presentation or your wedding; choose how you will step back into that office; stand up from your table at home and rehearse it. Feed your fatted calf because a celebration is coming.
• Rehearse your victory and your sound of good news now, in advance.
• Send in your fast testimonies to the testimony line; pick up, fill and submit a testimony form before next Sunday.
• Give the "seed of joy" offering, tithes and partnership; be part of the church building project.
• Pray the salvation prayer and email salvation@streamsofjoy.org if you gave your life today.
• First-timers: fill the usher's form and hand it in before you leave.

Tomorrow / upcoming

• Be on the altar tomorrow morning (Monday, day 8) for "No more delay", and invite friends and family.
