OH LORD SHOW ME MERCY//GREAT AND MIGHTY WONDERS OF EL-ROI - DAY 3

Day 3 of the week "Great and Mighty Wonders of El-Roi" is the Wednesday "Oh Lord, Show Me Mercy" service. It opens with a highlight reel of earlier ministry: wheelchairs lifted, "carry your evidence right now" for every woman waiting on the fruit of the womb "no matter what the medical report", "whatever followed you here, you will not leave with it", "the sound of your family will no longer record premature death", "wake up, Lazarus", a salvation call, and "before 7:00 pm Nigerian time the Lord will show them that His hand is upon your life". The cry of the week returns: when you do not know what to say or pray, just shout "Arroi" (El-Roi, the God who sees me).

After a long stretch of worship and tongues, Pastor Jerry leads the mercy prayer from the Psalms. He comes boldly to the throne of grace and cries "My Father, show me mercy", praying the language of Psalm 3 ("many there be which say of my soul, there is no help for him in God; but thou, O Lord, art a shield for me, my glory and the lifter up of my head"), Psalm 121, Psalm 61 and Psalm 46. The heart of the prayer is "Where my strength has failed me, where the systems have disappointed me, where my hands cannot reach: My Father, show me mercy. Don't leave me the way I am. I cannot call on Your name and end up in shame." He sets God's mercy against chariots and horses (Psalm 20:7) and against the arm of man, praying David's choice: "Let me fall into the hands of God, for His mercies are great."

He then turns to "where there is Your mercy, there is perfection" (Psalm 138:8), joins Mary and Martha in "he whom Thou lovest is sick" over bodies, minds, finances and expectations, asks whether God would begin a life and let cancer, the devil or a conspiracy end it, and declares turnarounds "by the mercies of God": new garments of celebration, "you have cried enough", and the prayer of Jabez over every life. The congregation is sent to click the share button while he repeats "share the mercy of God".

A dense block of words of knowledge follows, each met with "if you are the one, put it on the live stream; the devil is a liar, let it be reversed": families with three people living with epilepsy, olfactory neuroblastoma, a curse that has one person living like a madman, a vengeful word spoken ten years ago now coming back on the speaker, two children lost to leukemia and a third just diagnosed, lupus nephritis, a crisis that began with a wrong blood transfusion, a twin pregnancy bleeding since last night, a wrong visa that "they will call you today and change", seven more courses of chemotherapy, burial dreams and dreams of speaking with the dead, children who all hate a parent, organ failure, and a spirit spouse's ring blocking marriage. Pastor G declares mercy over the items people brought beside their devices, then Pastor Jerry has everyone shout "The mercy of God has changed my story", prophesies new names (married, elevated, promoted, favor, speed) and leads the seed with "instant mercy intervention" while angels of mercy move through oncology clinics and the ICU.

The testimony reel covers a baby named Grace after a plaster reading "El-Roi, the God that sees me" was worn on the belly for nine months; Ricky from Lagos healed of PCOS, left ventricular hypertrophy, stage 3 CKD, acid reflux, high blood pressure and insomnia; a mother cured of glaucoma and arthritis whose daughter in London conceived after six years; and Chibuka and his wife in the UK whose son was discharged from Kawasaki disease. Pastor Jerry closes with seven "by this mercy prayer" decrees, three servings of communion, a warning not to miss tomorrow's major prayer "I will not fight this battle again", a Psalm 91 confession, and seven rounds of "Congratulations". The service ends with a second highlight reel of the day's declarations.

• Mother of Grace: on 12 July last year Pastor Jerry declared "a woman looking at me, you are already pregnant". She conceived, bled once, and wrote "El-Roi, the God that sees me. What God cannot do does not exist. What I am afraid of will not happen. God of Pastor Jerry, see me through" on a plaster over her belly, renewing it for nine months. Baby Grace was born.
• Ricky, Lagos: four years of complications: PCOS with enlarged ovaries, enlarged kidneys and liver, an enlarged heart (left ventricular hypertrophy), high blood pressure, insomnia and stage 3 chronic kidney disease, told to manage for life. She ran back to the altar, wrote down the words (high blood pressure reversed in April, ventricular hypertrophy on 28 April, acid reflux on 22 July, PCOS on 25 July, insomnia on 14 August, "clean bill of health" on 13 April), then tested after the UK conference word "go and check". Results on 2 and 9 September: everything gone, BP stable, hormonal imbalance reversed.
• A mother in Abuja: glaucoma since 2017 (National Hospital) could not be found at an eye test for a US driving licence, then confirmed gone at a private hospital and at the National Hospital last Monday. Also healed of arthritis. Her first daughter in London, married 2018, waited six years for a child; after writing "What God cannot do does not exist" on her bedsheet and wall and being anointed, she delivered on 8 April (the mother's fourth grandchild). She also moved from her last 5,000 naira to giving 100,000 in charity.
• Chibuka and his wife, UK: their son, four at the time, was diagnosed with Kawasaki disease. They heard Pastor Jerry call "Kawasaki disease, be reversed", stopped the medication in faith and kept giving communion daily. Every check was clear, and this week, the day the word came again, the cardiologist discharged him.

1. Mercy is the one help that does not fail where strength, faith, systems and human hands have run out. God saves "by the Lord their God", not by bow, sword, chariots or horses.
2. You cannot call on His name and end up in shame. Choose, like David, to fall into the hands of God, because His mercies are great.
3. Where there is mercy, there is perfection: the God who began your life will finish it, and no cancer, conspiracy or devil gets the last word.
4. By this mercy prayer the struggle is over, the bloodline is purified, helpers in other nations will locate you, you are called by a new name, and there shall be a sound of abundance.
5. What the devil packaged, God unpacks the same way: whatever has a big name is not bigger than the name of Jesus. Believe the word enough to act on it, as the Kawasaki couple did.
6. This is a writing season. Written words (on a plaster, a bedsheet, a wall) carry faith until the answer comes; "write the vision, make it plain".
7. Testimony held back is a door left shut; the leper who returned is the one made whole.
