AUGUST SPECIAL NEW MONTH PRAYERS [DAY 3]

Day 3 of the August new month prayers, in the run-up to Pastor Jerry's birthday month. The captions open in the middle of the prayer: "Let the Lord turn it", in the office, the career and the health. He leads the congregation through the Isaiah 61 commission ("the Spirit of the Lord is upon me... to open prison doors"), commanding every family member, career and business locked in any demonic prison to be released, and then calls forth into reality every blessing already released "in the heavenly places": "As it is in heaven, so shall it be on earth."

The teaching of the day is the Midianite spirit. It was the Midianites who bought and sold Joseph, and the elders of Midian who joined in hiring Balaam to curse Israel. The Midianite spirit, he says, is "a spirit of making transaction with your destiny", the satanic contractor. He asks again and again: "Who is buying? Who is selling? What are you buying? What are you selling?" As Jesus drove the buyers and sellers out of the temple with a whip, he scatters every market over the worshipper's father's house, office, city, health and favor. The girl with the spirit of divination in Acts 16 looked harmless and said good things, yet "brought her masters much gain": a transaction was going on. The answer is God's word to Balaam. The congregation shouts it back: "They are already blessed. They cannot be cursed." Then Paul in the storm: the ship may break up, but "last night the angel of the Lord stood by me, whose I am and whom I serve". Whatever the report (autism, last-stage cancer, multiple organ failure, an expected obituary), "an angel has gone ahead".

A run of words of knowledge follows (Brown syndrome, primary biliary cirrhosis, spinal muscular atrophy, ventricular septal defect, kidney tubular damage and others), with "Let it be reversed" and "If you are the one, put it on the live stream." He prays over children ("we clothe them with a garment of greatness"), over people who are valued but passed over at the time of favor, and over the new season in the order of Elisha taking up the new mantle: "The Lord has arranged it", so the lines fall in pleasant places, piece by piece. He announces tomorrow as the first Oh Lord Show Me Mercy of the month, then leads the seed of thanksgiving with the prophetic word for the month: "Your narration will be back to back celebration." "While you are celebrating one, another testimony will happen."

The testimonies are built around last year's birthday. A wife saw Pastor Jerry in a dream after his birthday and tested pregnant (five weeks and two days); a woman who claimed another woman's twin testimony had twin boys. A supervisor in Abuja who had covered up missing stock by falsifying her report prayed only for mercy; she was neither dismissed nor charged damages, then moved to a better job with accommodation, feeding and a sponsored training trip, her first ever flight. Maria, who flew in from China, had been told to use a surrogate after seven failed IVF cycles; she conceived after tasting Pastor Jerry's birthday cake, then, three months postpartum in China, wrote a suicide note and went to jump from the 30th floor, until a live word of knowledge said: "You said that today is your last service... I see you." The co-host draws the lesson that "the most critical season of your life is after prayers."

The service closes with the salvation prayer, three communions, three birthday declarations (the wealthy place, hands that carry what years could not carry, and angels of completion and harvest), the Psalm 91 confession, seven congratulations, and a recap of two recent miracles: a clinically dead mother who revived five minutes after the prayer played beside her on a phone, and a brain surgery patient, told he would not wake for six months or ever walk, who answered his wife's call and stood up from the stretcher.

Testimonies played / recapped

• Couple, baby after last year's birthday: after Pastor Jerry's birthday last August the wife saw him in a dream, tested, and was five weeks and two days pregnant; she took communion through the pregnancy with no complication. A baby boy.
• Twin boys: on last year's birthday a woman testified to twin girls; another woman claimed it, not knowing she was already pregnant, and asked for two boys. She had twin boys, Jason and Jayden (names as captioned).
• Supervisor in Abuja: introduced to the altar by her aunt. Stock went missing in November and December and she falsified her report to hide it; in January her boss moved to dismiss her. She prayed only for mercy. On 19 February the altar declared "you have been forgiven, the guilt is gone"; on 26 February, the morning of her HR meeting, Pastor Jerry said "something that has never been done for anyone before will be done for you". HR did not dismiss her; the damages she was told to pay were later dropped by the board, and her suspended February salary was paid in full. She resigned on 30 June to move up; on 12 July, during the fast that began 10 July ("suddenly the big one will burst out without processes, without protocols"), a client of her former employer offered her a job, with a better salary, accommodation, feeding and a sponsored training. The training trip was her first flight; she had anointed her feet as taught at the close of the fast. She came to fulfill her vow.
• Maria (captioned "Maria Tuko"), flew in from China: former Muslim, introduced by her pastor's wife (Pastor Ellen). She had a lump and a heart problem and was told to find a surrogate; seven IVF cycles failed. Following the altar, the lump and the heart problem cleared. She left China during the COVID closure (2022) and recorded "What God cannot do does not exist" in 21 languages. On Pastor Jerry's birthday she tasted his cake and then tested positive, carried the baby nine months and had a boy. Three months later, back in China, she wrote a suicide note and went to jump from the 30th floor with the service playing on her phone; the word of knowledge came: "You said today is your last service... you want to kill yourself... I see you." She lived, later met President Xi, and has shipped solar lights for a new church site.
• Recap (three weeks earlier, by Pastor Jerry): a word of knowledge told someone beside a dead woman to turn up the phone volume and place it beside her. The mother had been confirmed clinically dead; she did not revive during the prayer, and the daughter felt disappointed, but five minutes later she came back to life.
• Recap, brain cancer surgery: a husband operated on for brain cancer; doctors said he would not regain consciousness for six months and might never walk. His wife answered "What God cannot do does not exist", went to the ICU and called his name; he responded and opened his eyes. When staff removed the window blinds to move his stretcher out through the window, he stood up on his feet.

9. The greatest miracle is a changed life.
