OH LORD SHOW ME MERCY//[FURNACE OF ANSWERS - DAY 3]

Day 3 of "Furnace of Answers" was the Wednesday "Oh Lord, show me mercy" altar, held during the NSPPD fast. Pastor Jerry opened in sung and spoken prayer to Arroi, the God who sees: "As the eyes of a servant look unto the hand of the master... my eyes are upon you. My father, show me mercy." The cry ran through the whole hour: where labour, effort and strength have failed, mercy steps in. He prayed that mercy would "dominate sorrow", dominate shame, fear, mistakes and failure, and that God would "do something new" because His mercies are new every morning.

The long prayer section stacked scripture after scripture. Asa's prayer ("it is nothing for you to help, whether with many or with those that have no power") was prayed over people in hospital, on the point of death, grieving, or asking "Lord, why am I still here?" He contrasted the king of Israel who could not help the woman ("out of the threshing floor or the winepress?") with a Father who never fails, and turned the mockers' "there is no help for him in God" into "But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me, my glory and the lifter of my head." The congregation proclaimed the blood of Jesus at length ("Remember the blood... that one will not die"), and he declared a turnaround: "When your mercy comes, slow development will be terminated... that woman will carry a baby again."

Words of knowledge followed, each with "If you are the one, put it on the live stream. The devil is a liar. Let it be reversed": Brown-Sequard syndrome, exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, prolapse of the uterus, cystic fibrosis, a one-year-old with stomach cancer, a two-year-old on dialysis, an autoimmune condition attacking pregnancies, cyclic vomiting syndrome and more. Viewers were sent to share the link ("Share the mercy of God"), place what they need mercy on beside their device, and kneel while Pastor K and Pastor Jerry declared for mercy. The congregation declared seven times "The Lord has shown me great mercy" with the reply "The new has come", then held a seed of thanksgiving and named three areas needing "instant mercy intervention".

The announcement block covered the America and UK conferences, the fast, the WhatsApp prayer channel and the testimony line. Three testimonies played: Acha's mother in California, healed of stroke effects and then of a hole in the heart; a consultant doctor in Lagos who heard her exact diagnosis, invasive ductal carcinoma, called out and then had a clear ultrasound; and Valerie Ario of Abuja, out of a wheelchair after twelve years of spinal disease and five surgeries, with a job loss restored many times over. After salvation, three communions and the prophetic word, Pastor K and Pastor Jerry gave thanks, and a closing clip of Pastor Jerry told of a clinically dead mother who revived five minutes after prayer and a brain surgery patient who stood up in the ICU.

Testimonies played / recapped

• Acha (USA), for her mother in California: in January 2025 headaches, then the left side of her face drooped; hospital confirmed a stroke with a blood clot in the brain. Discharged 4 February with the face unchanged, food falling from her mouth, unable to blink. Watching NSPPD at 10 p.m. California time she held onto the declaration "Blood clot is reversed" and her face recovered that same week. In March an X-ray showed a hole in the heart (heart trouble for over 30 years); she refused surgery and insisted on a repeat scan while the doctor laughed that "holes don't close like that." She put it on the altar; on Thursday 17 April Pastor Jerry declared "every hole in the heart... sealing up", and on 18 April "massive healing for anyone with any heart condition." Repeat scan 30 May; on 4 June the doctor found no hole.
• A consultant doctor (name garbled) in Lagos, recorded 7 July 2025: felt a lump in the left armpit; biopsy in April 2025 showed invasive ductal carcinoma of the left axillary tail, confirmed by CT. She rejoined NSPPD on 4 July, the day of her repeat ultrasound, silently asking God to name her exact type. Within ten minutes Pastor Jerry called out "invasive ductal carcinoma" and then "breast cancer." The ultrasound came back clear: "There is nothing wrong with you."
• Valerie Ario (Abuja): a domestic accident in 2012 led to degenerative spinal disease (lumbar spondylosis, sacroiliitis); pain treatment cost 750,000 to 1.5 million naira a month, with trips to many countries. Joined NSPPD in 2020 and testified of a job breakthrough; three months later her legs stopped working. In 2023 a suspected lumbar hernia led to about five surgeries; after 11 hours in surgery her nerves were not responding, her sister had NSPPD played in her ear, she heard the word about "no communication between your muscles and your nerves," and her legs moved before they reopened her. Later words: "you don't have cancer but they are giving you chemotherapy" (she was taken off it) and "you're wearing braces on your spine." Carried to the physical altar each morning, in November 2024 she stood up after prayer with no pain and no walking aid. Having lost her job after nine months of sick leave, she received the word "15 years in one day"; God opened international doors and business opportunities she called "15 years multiplied by 10."
• Closing clip, Pastor Jerry recounting three weeks earlier: a word at 7 a.m. prayers told someone beside a dead woman to turn up the phone volume and place it beside her. The mother had been confirmed clinically dead hours earlier; after the prayer nothing happened and the daughter doubted, but five minutes later the mother came back. Another woman's husband had brain cancer surgery; the doctor said he would be unconscious for six months and might never walk. She answered "What God cannot do does not exist," called his name in the ICU hours after surgery, and he opened his eyes. When staff removed the window blinds to move his stretcher out through the window, he stood up on his feet.

1. Mercy is the only ground to stand on. "I am praying, I am fasting, but I am holding on only to your mercy." Effort, labour and strength fail; mercy does not.
2. God does not save by horses, horsemen, bows or arrows but by mercy. Where human help, institutions, medicine and "the process" have failed, help still comes from the Lord.
3. It is nothing for God to help, whether with many or with those who have no power. The one in hospital, on the point of death, or full of questions is not beyond Him.
4. Mercy dominates sorrow. As God spared Paul "sorrow upon sorrow," mercy overrules pain, shame, fear, mistakes and failure.
5. His mercies are new every morning, so believers refuse to settle in the old: "We cannot call on your name and end up in shame."
6. No one is beyond mercy. Even Cain received it; God has mercy on whom He will have mercy, and the declaration is "The Lord has shown me great mercy; the new has come."
7. The blood of Jesus speaks when there is nothing else to see: "The enemy will not have the final say."
8. The time after a fast is the most critical season; position yourself so the answers find you.
9. We are in a season of revival of the strange acts of God. Faith is "now," and the same Jesus who raised the dead still answers while the word is being spoken.
