FURNACE OF ANSWERS [DAY 2]

Day 2 of Furnace of Answers, in the second week of the July fast (a media fast), opened with worship on the Lion of the tribe of Judah who has prevailed and the God who is a consuming fire. The first long movement was a prophetic declaration over "what is written". Pastor Jerry took the cry of Psalm 40, "in the volume of the book it is written of me, I come to do your will", and declared that the script of a believer's life is already written by the author and finisher of faith. He listed what is written (lifted, defended, heaven opened, a path that shines brighter, children for signs and wonders, mountains made plain, a chosen generation, the light of the world) and called every power trying to rewrite it a liar. Using the tablets Moses broke and God wrote again, he declared that whatever the enemy has broken of what El Roi wrote, God will write again.

From there he moved into fire prayer. Paul was stoned and dragged out of Lystra for dead, then stood up and went back into the city: "What brought them down will never ever bring me down. What stopped them will not stop me." He explained that when the altar calls fire it is calling God, and a fire must be given something to consume, then led a long "Let the fire fall" litany over wickedness, familiar spirits, negative cycles, obituaries, evil conspiracy, exchange of glory and star, household enemies, witchcraft covers, gates of shame and delay, and stolen crowns and thrones. He prayed against the "new sword" of the enemy (the giant who thought to kill David), asked God to speak again over people's labour as He spoke at the Jordan, and declared a turnaround "in one hour".

The teaching heart of the morning was 2 Kings 2: the men of Jericho told Elisha the situation of the city was pleasant, but the water was bad and the ground barren. He spoke to people whose lives look fine from outside while things are fundamentally wrong, and declared reversal until the testimony becomes "the situation is pleasant, the water is pleasant and the ground is fruitful". He read 2 Thessalonians 1:6 in a translation that says it is a righteous thing for God to trouble those who trouble you, and declared joy rising like the oil the Good Samaritan poured into a wounded man.

Words of knowledge followed: a family where children dropped out of school as their parent had done 40 years ago, a household that had moved five times since January because of a being that visits the house, a mother of two sets of autistic twins, premature ovarian failure, ovarian cancer, HPV, retinal detachment, knee replacements and more. The prayer closed with "Greater things are here", "Everything is open", calling out one's own name with congratulations, and a call to come tomorrow for mercy.

After the announcements and testimonies (a footballer signed in Moldova, freedom from drug addiction, uterine cancer reversed, a failed skin graft healed), Pastor Jerry thanked God that he had not missed one morning at the altar through the middle of the year, and Pastor K and another pastor thanked him for the "God troubles those who trouble you" revelation. The recording ends with a separate message in which Pastor Jerry recounts a woman confirmed clinically dead who came back to life five minutes after the prayer was played beside her, and a man given six months to wake after brain surgery who answered his wife's call within hours and stood up while staff were planning to move him out through the window. The day's declaration: "It is already written. I come in the volume of what was written about me."

Testimonies played / recapped

• Ola Matthew (footballer): testified in church about three weeks earlier after trials with five clubs. His agent called: a direct signing in Moldova, wages agreed, release clause settled on the Friday. He had his medical and signed the same Monday, started his first professional league match a week later with a good debut, and is due to play his first Champions League game later in the month. A clip of him on the pitch was shown.
• Chika (drug addiction): smoked marijuana and took codeine from 2019; lost money, friends and family relationships and took things that were not his. His mother joined NSPPD around March 2020. At 3 a.m. while out to take drugs he heard "this is not you, you are better than this", walked home asking for mercy, and has been free since 7 March (his birthday): 118 days with no drugs and no urge, without rehab. He has finished discipleship class.
• Louise and her husband (South Africa, per the later announcement): continuous bleeding from last year; in October a biopsy, CT and MRI showed malignancy in the uterus. Louise joined the morning altar after seeing a testimony. On 16 June the word of knowledge "cancer of the uterus, let it be reversed" came; at the 3-month follow-up on 25 June the uterus was clean, no cancer. Louise had seen a black panther surrounding her in a vision, and an image on the WhatsApp channel confirmed it for them.
• A man from Nigeria (failed skin grafting): appendicitis surgery in 2023 that did not remove the appendix led to a fistula; a 7-hour operation with four doctors at another hospital, bedsore surgery three times without success, then the National Orthopaedic Hospital, where he ate 22 eggs a day with protein drinks his sister bought abroad. Discharged after a year, the site began oozing again. Pastor Jerry called "skin grafting failure, they have done it again and again"; after the Wednesday mercy prayer the hospital found nothing.
• Closing message (recounted by Pastor Jerry): three weeks earlier a word came that someone was beside a dead woman and should turn up the phone's volume beside her. The mother had been confirmed clinically dead; nothing happened when the prayer ended, and five minutes later she came back to life. A second woman's husband was operated on for brain cancer; doctors said he would not wake for six months and might never walk. She answered "What God cannot do does not exist", called his name in the ICU and he opened his eyes; while staff planned to move him out through the window because the stretcher would not fit the door, he stood up.

1. Your life is already written. Jesus is the author and finisher of your faith; you come "in the volume of the book" to do His will, and no power can rewrite what God has written.
2. What the enemy breaks, God writes again. Moses broke the tablets and God said "bring another stone"; whatever El Roi wrote over your life and family will rise again.
3. What brought others down will not bring you down. The stones that killed Stephen did not keep Paul down: he stood up and went back into the city.
4. Calling fire is calling God. A consuming fire must be given something to burn, so bring wickedness, cycles, conspiracies and stolen glory to the altar.
5. A pleasant city can still have bad water and barren ground. God sees what is fundamentally wrong behind a smile and reverses it until the water is pleasant and the ground fruitful.
6. It is a righteous thing for God to trouble those who trouble you; those who prepared tears for you will cry them.
7. Greater things are here; everything is open, and God can turn a situation in one hour.
8. Asking and receiving are different: the weeks after a fast are the most critical season, the time to position yourself to receive.
9. The glory belongs to God alone, who puts treasure in earthen vessels. We are in a revival of the strange acts of God, and faith is now.
