GOD OF WONDERS; GOD OF PERFECTION [DAY 2]

Day 2 of the "God of Wonders; God of Perfection" week opened with worship built on Hebrews 11:6 ("We know you are the rewarder of those who diligently seek your face; all power is in your hands, with you nothing is impossible") and the chant that carried the whole morning: "What you cannot do, what you cannot fix, what you cannot solve does not exist." Pastor Jerry then recounted two wonders from the altar three weeks earlier: a woman confirmed clinically dead who came back to life five minutes after the prayer ended, once her daughter had placed the phone beside her body on a word of knowledge; and a man after brain cancer surgery, given six months to regain consciousness and told he might never walk, who answered when his wife called his name in the ICU and stood up on his feet while the staff were planning to lift his stretcher out through a window. His wife's line became the day's cry: "What God cannot do does not exist."

The prayer block moved through "Rend the heavens and come down", the Lion of the tribe of Judah roaring over every mountain, barrenness, attack and cage, then breaking anything fighting the worshipper's relationship with God (addictions, evil thoughts, strongholds) and reversing exchanged glory (Psalm 106:20) and the pattern of one tragedy wiping out years of labour. The central teaching was on Jezebel: she wrote one letter and Elijah ran from where God had planted him. "My name is not Elijah, and even if it were, I belong to a new covenant." The congregation declared "I am not going anywhere", "I bounce back, and as I bounce back I push you out", and a pre-emptive stance: Jezebel killed the prophets before anyone responded, so this altar moves ahead of her before she strikes ("before they tell you cancer has spread, stop them").

From Naboth's vineyard he showed that Ahab, already great, could not bear another man living close to greatness; the counter-declaration was "I take my seat at the table of greatness", for children, ministry, career, business and walk with God. He also released a "mantle of wonder called come and see" (John 1:46): answers so plain they need no explanation, where twenty years come in one day.

Words of knowledge followed (joint hypermobility syndrome, a family that lost two children to kidney failure, colorectal cancer, cystic fibrosis, children with slow development, Down syndrome and ADHD, creative miracles for removed organs and limbs, prostate disease), and a prophecy that "before June becomes July" there will be a shout of joy where people have cried most. He prayed for nations in war and crisis ("preserve those appointed to die"), for marital garments and babies, and for open doors ("Everywhere is open in the spirit; what is mine, fall to me"). A seed of thanksgiving was sown, and tomorrow was announced as "Oh Lord, show me mercy".

Recorded testimonies covered a UK woman married after years of heartbreak, an autistic nonverbal boy in the Philippines who began speaking, two cancers reversed (adenocarcinoma and gastrointestinal cancer) and a man in Benin delivered from 15 years of gambling addiction who now owns property where he was once evicted. Salvation, three communions, announcements for the UK and America prayer conferences, and Pastor K's reflection on bouncing back closed the service with Psalm 91 and seven congratulations.

Testimonies played / recapped

• Recap, three weeks earlier: a word of knowledge told someone beside a dead woman to raise the phone volume and place it beside her. The mother had been confirmed clinically dead hours before. She did not revive when the prayer ended and the daughter questioned God, but five minutes later she came back to life.
• Recap, brain cancer surgery: the doctor said the husband would not regain consciousness for six months and might never walk. His wife answered, "What God cannot do does not exist", and the doctor asked the brother-in-law to warn her about her behaviour. Hours later in the ICU she called his name and he opened his eyes. When staff removed the window blinds because the door could not take the stretcher, he stood up on his feet.
• Aquilina (United Kingdom): a friend sent her the link daily until she joined. After years of marital disappointment she took a ring, put it on her finger and declared along with the marital prayers. She met her husband, they married quickly in Zimbabwe, and "it's like a dream".
• Jason (Philippines): connected Enzo, the nonverbal autistic son of a single mother, to the altar. Two weeks later, praying in tongues into his ear, the boy began repeating words ("Jesus"); Enzo now speaks.
• Daughter on behalf of her mother: two years of stomach pain after an operation; a scan showed adenocarcinoma, another doctor suggested colon cancer. The family prayed "Oh Lord show me mercy" and the WhatsApp channel's clean-up prayer. On Monday Pastor Jerry's word "reversed" landed; the new results came back normal, no trace of cancer.
• Name lost in captions: fell sick on 23 March; ultrasound showed a growth blocking the intestine, CT diagnosed gastrointestinal cancer, biopsy ordered. Pastor Jerry called "gastrointestinal cancer, be reversed" on the altar; weeks later the results showed no cancer.
• Bruno (Benin): gambling every day for 15 years; sold his car, land and property and received a quit notice from his landlord. Delivered last year when Pastor Jerry called out "any form of addiction". He stopped gambling, bought a better car than the one he sold, and is now a landlord in the same area where he was evicted (house shown on video).

1. What God cannot do does not exist. The God of wonders still raises the dead and restores what experts have written off; this is a season of revival of the strange acts of God, when no one will again ask "Where is your God?"
2. Faith is now. God answers "while he is yet speaking"; the wife who called her husband's name in the ICU shows faith acting before the evidence.
3. Jezebel's letter has no power over a new covenant believer. Elijah ran from his place of assignment, but believers are not Elijah: they stand where God planted them, in health, finances, favour and increase, and whatever pushed them out, they bounce back and push it out.
4. Do not wait for the enemy to strike first. Jezebel killed the prophets before anyone responded; this altar moves ahead of the attack, before the diagnosis is named or the door is shut again.
5. You have a seat at the table of greatness. Like Ahab against Naboth, some powers do not want you near greatness; the earth is the Lord's, and your children, career, ministry and walk with God take their seat there.
6. The mantle of "come and see". Some answers need no explanation, only evidence that speaks for itself; twenty years can come in one day.
7. The kingdom is in the demonstration of power, not in church talk. Addictions such as gambling are demons that swallow finances; the thief comes to steal, but Jesus gives abundant life.
8. Every testimony belongs to God. Even if God did nothing he would still be God; because he has put his name on this altar, he deserves the thanks.
