GOD OF WONDERS; GOD OF PERFECTION [DAY 1]

Day 1 of the "God of Wonders; God of Perfection" week opened on a Monday in worship: "the Lion of the tribe of Judah has prevailed", "in Him dwells the fullness of the Godhead, I am complete in Him", "for Zion's sake I will not hold my peace", and "He delivers, He rescues, He does great wonders upon the earth". Out of that worship the altar turned into one long cry: "Awake, my glory." Pastor Jerry used Lazarus ("Our friend Lazarus sleeps, but I go that I may wake him up") and called on sleeping glory, favour, gifts and fruit of the Spirit, sensitivity, discernment, helpers, businesses and ministries to wake up, asking for evidence of the prayer "in less than one hour".

He then led the congregation on their knees through Psalm 86:17 ("Show me a token for good, that they which hate me may see it"), and into the week's theme from 1 Peter 5:10: the God of all grace, after you have suffered a while, will perfect, establish, strengthen and settle you. He declared "settlement on every side": marital, financial, spiritual. From Exodus 9:16 ("for this cause have I raised thee up, to show in thee my power") he confronted every "Pharaoh" around the worshipper, prayed Hosea 9:14 against the wicked, had people lift a mantle of exemption ("You are exempted, you are accepted, you are exalted"), and spoke "Peace, be still" over every storm.

The sharpest prayer was against what is "going on behind the scene". From Ezekiel 11 (25 men at the east gate devising mischief) and Jezebel's hidden hand in Naboth's death, he had the church ask, "What is going on behind the scene that is working against me?" and answer with fire, because "the Lord your God is a consuming fire". Later he taught that Jezebel arrived with her gods, and that people bring things into our lives through casual sex, friends, business partners and office mates; the response was "I shake it off". He closed the altar declaring "The God of wonders has taken over", "Welcome to a week of wonders", and led a seed of thanksgiving naming three things for God to perfect.

Words of knowledge ran through a long healing block ("If you are the one, put it on the livestream. The devil is a liar. Let it be reversed"), including a family where people die at 52, a blood covenant revisiting in dreams, an egg smashed in a dream over a womb, and a husband who "died three times" and lies in a vegetative state.

Pastor K announced the NSPPD UK Prayer Conference (23 August 2025, ExCeL London) with registration opening that day, and reminded of the America conference on 19 July. Recorded testimonies followed: a widow remarried on her 57th birthday, a baby after 12 years, four IVFs and four miscarriages, a son healed of rhabdomyosarcoma, and a personal trainer free of lymphoma. After salvation and three communions, a closing ministry segment recounted a clinically dead mother revived after the phone was placed beside her, and a man who stood up hours after brain surgery. The day's cry, in the pastor's words: "Awake, my glory. This is a new week. Awake."

Theme and timing

• Day 1 (Monday) of "God of Wonders; God of Perfection", announced as "a week of wonders" and "your week of perfection". Pastor Jerry called it "the last full week of June".

Testimonies played / recapped

• Dr Grace Salako (Igbo, married to a Yoruba, about 30 years in a state rendered "O state"): widowed in 2016; joined Streams of Joy via Facebook in 2020 and stayed through the "women in their 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s" spouse prayers ("This is your Kairos moment; wear your wedding gown"). In 2024 she met a man widowed for about 15 years who had raised his children; they married on 29 March, her 57th birthday.
• Olubunmi (caption "Hulu Bumi"), Badagry, Lagos: married since 2013; four IVFs, one IUI, four miscarriages at about two months. A sister sent the NSPPD link; she gave up once, then returned with expectation, printed a picture of a pregnant woman and asked for a gift around Pastor Jerry's birthday. Conceived naturally in September 2024 with balanced progesterone and oestrogen, and on 1 May 2025 gave birth to a baby girl, Michelle, with a second name meaning "God's gift" (caption "dear Connie Orua", uncertain).
• Mother from the USA (name rendered "staff"): son diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma in 2022. A UK lymphoma testimony played the day they went to hospital; Pastor Jerry kept calling rhabdomyosarcoma and nasopharyngeal cancer. Before the first treatment the scan could not find the tumour; on her birthday this year he was declared cancer free.
• Victor, personal trainer, Lagos: fell ill in 2023 with malaria-like symptoms and cough, lost weight, CT "highly suggestive of mediastinal lymphoma"; a CT-guided biopsy was blocked by low platelets; in March he was in ICU vomiting and passing blood; bone marrow biopsy confirmed cancer and eight chemo sessions were recommended. He stopped after about three. Attended the Lagos prayer conference; blood work improved. He had written a congratulation note in 2024 that the chest X-ray and CT would show nothing. After a car accident in February a chest X-ray was clear, and his CT showed "no evidence of lymphoma". Taking the word "nobody overcomes and remains in obscurity", he received two international PhD-level study and research opportunities in the same field. He came from Lagos to testify in person.

• Closing ministry segment (guest speaker): three weeks earlier, during 7am prayers, a word came that someone was beside a dead woman and should raise the phone volume beside her. The mother had been confirmed clinically dead; nothing happened when prayer ended and the daughter felt God had disappointed them, then "5 minutes later" (the account implies she came back). A second woman's husband had brain cancer surgery; doctors said he would be unconscious for six months and might never walk. She answered "What God cannot do does not exist", called his name in ICU hours after surgery, he opened his eyes, and when staff removed window blades to move his stretcher out, he stood up.

1. Glory can fall asleep. As Jesus went to wake Lazarus, this is a new week of new speed, new deliverance, new anointing and new manifestation, and nothing God placed in you has a right to stay asleep.
2. God is the God of wonders and the God of perfection: after you have suffered a while, the God of all grace perfects, establishes, strengthens and settles you, with settlement on every side.
3. God raised you up to show His wonders through you; every Pharaoh that took what belonged to others and now wants yours is answered by Him.
4. Much warfare runs behind the scene, like Jezebel behind Ahab and the 25 men at the gate. Fire, the Lord Himself, answers what you cannot see.
5. People carry spirits; connections, partners and casual relationships can bring what is not of God into a life, a home and a career. It can be shaken off.
6. Healing is completed by thanksgiving: the leper who came back was made whole, not merely healed.
7. "What God cannot do does not exist"; faith is now, and God is in a hurry. Overcomers are not left in obscurity.
