OH LORD SHOW ME MERCY [GOD OF PERFECTION, VENGEANCE & GOD OF NOW - DAY 3]

Day 3 of the "God of Perfection, God of Vengeance, God of Now" week was the Wednesday "Oh Lord, Show Me Mercy" altar. Worship opened on "We know you are the rewarder of those who diligently seek your face... with you nothing is impossible to do", and the chant "What you cannot do does not exist". Pastor Jerry then recounted a word of knowledge from three weeks earlier: someone was sitting beside a mother confirmed clinically dead, and he told them to raise the phone volume and place it beside her. The prayers ended and nothing happened, the daughter wondered whether God had disappointed them, and five minutes later the mother came back to life. A second woman whose husband had brain cancer surgery was told he would be unconscious for six months and might never walk. She answered the doctor, "What God cannot do does not exist", walked into the ICU and called his name; he opened his eyes, and while staff were removing window blinds to get his stretcher out, he stood up on his own feet. "We are in a season of a revival of the strange acts of God."

The mercy prayers were addressed to Arroi, "the God of my journey", "the God that knows where I am coming from, where I am and where I am going to." The congregation cried, "Arroi, arise. Have mercy on me, save me by the Lord my God... not by bow, by sword, by battle, by horses or by horsemen", prayed the Jabez prayer on their knees, asked to be kept as the apple of His eye, and confessed, "In you the fatherless, the clueless, the tired, the frustrated, the overwhelmed find mercy." The heart cry of the day was: "I cannot fight like them. Show me mercy. I don't have who they have. Show me mercy... Don't leave me where I am. Don't leave me the way I am." Like blind Bartimaeus told to keep quiet, the people refused to shut their mouths, and he prayed that every bowed head (cancer, confusion, addiction, shame) be lifted, ending with the declaration of Psalm 138:8: "Thou will perfect that which concerns me," answered "Because your mercy endures forever."

Words of knowledge followed, each closing "If you are the one, put it on the live stream; the devil is a liar, let it be reversed": autoimmune hepatitis, arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia, leukemia, coronary and heart rhythm conditions, miscarriages, STDs, kidney disease, sickle cell, a spine bending in two weeks, a son in a five year sleep cycle, scaly bleeding skin, a loved one who woke with memory loss, and two young children with heart and liver failure. Pastor K and Pastor G (as the captions give them) made a short mercy declaration ("When everything fails, mercy never fails"), and Pastor Jerry released a word he said the Lord would not let him drop: "The Lord has put a new song in your mouth", answered "Many will see it and fear." He announced Thursday's foundation prayers and led the seed of thanksgiving over two impossible situations: "The compassion of God has swallowed them."

Three video testimonies played: a woman healed of a neck fistula she had lived with for 40+ years after watching an anal fistula healing at the Zambia conference; Prince from Lagos, whose stalled building project resumed and became a duplex after his brother's kidney damage was reversed by a word at the altar; and a UK woman healed of sarcoidosis (treated with chemotherapy drugs) and restored after a redundancy, now working at a Big Four firm. The service closed with the salvation prayer, two communions, the testimony line, social handles, the evening children's prayer, the declaration "I am the one the Lord showed great mercy", reflections from the pastors, Psalm 91:1-2, and seven rounds of "Congratulations".

Testimonies played / recapped

• Clinically dead mother (story from three weeks earlier): at a word of knowledge, a daughter raised the phone volume beside her mother, confirmed clinically dead hours before. Nothing happened when the prayer ended; five minutes later the mother came back to life.
• Brain cancer surgery: surgeons warned the husband would stay unconscious for six months and might never walk. His wife called his name in the ICU a few hours after surgery and he opened his eyes; as staff removed window blinds to move his stretcher out, he stood up.
• Neck fistula (video): a woman born with a saliva-leaking neck fistula under her jaw, inoperable for fear of facial nerve damage, lived with it 40+ years. Watching the NSPPD Zambia conference from her kitchen, she saw a young woman healed of anal fistula (two failed surgeries, had dropped out of school) and claimed her own healing. Within two days it was dry and has stayed sealed.
• Prince, Lagos (video): NSPPD since March 2021. A bungalow started in his hometown in 2016 stalled at lintel level; money came but always went wrong around the project. After a 2022 testimony of a man who finished a house after seven years, he took the word, photographed the site (people were using it as a toilet) and brought sand from the land to the altar. His younger brother was then told his kidney was damaged (peeing blood, FMC). On 6 February 2023 a word said "you will not go for dialysis... let that kidney bounce back to life"; repeat tests that day came back clear. He sowed into the church building project ("If I build God's house, God will build my house"), received the mantle of completion, upgraded the bungalow to a duplex, tarred the road and installed street lights.
• UK woman, sarcoidosis (video, flew in from the UK): after a night attack by a veiled figure 8-9 years ago her legs swelled and she could not walk; later diagnosed with sarcoidosis and rheumatoid arthritis, treated with chemotherapy drugs, lost hair, and her 13 year old daughter became her carer. After the Twickenham conference (August 2024) she was in a US ICU for a week with steroid induced psychosis; the US$30,000 bill has been paid off and she paid only US$109. On 20 October 2024 (Unstoppable Generation Sunday service) a word said "they say it's an autoimmune disease and you are treating it with chemotherapy... let it be reversed"; she began walking. CRP markers now show no inflammation and she has been discharged. Made redundant while on sick leave, she prayed over the printed letter daily; on 14 November ("Glorious Finish part 2") a word said "it will end in praise". She was compensated and now works for a Big Four firm, and today wore heels for the first time in years. Her daughter was also saved from drowning on a Nigerian beach a year earlier. "They came for my child, my health, my job and finances. They did not get it."

1. God is reviving His "strange acts" in this season: the dead raised, the paralysed standing, so that people will no longer ask, "Where is your God?"
2. What God cannot do does not exist. Faith answers the expert's report with that sentence and acts on it, like the wife who called her husband's name in the ICU.
3. Faith is now. God is "God of now"; the miracle can arrive while the bad report is still being spoken, and delay after prayer is not denial (the five minutes after the prayer ended).
4. Mercy succeeds where effort, helpers, men and experts fail. "You may not have what they have, but mercy will do its work. You may not know who they know, but mercy has gone ahead of you." When everything fails, mercy never fails.
5. Crisis, conditions and reports try to silence us, as the crowd tried to silence Bartimaeus, but the cry for mercy gets Jesus to stop.
6. God is jealous over His own: "I will not be here and you will go down." He will perfect what concerns you, because His mercy endures forever.
7. Many attacks are spiritual at root. The testifiers discerned that (the night visitor, the kidney diverting building money) and used a word from the altar against it. "Everything the devil does is raw material for God" (Pastor K).
8. A word of knowledge can describe a situation, not just name a disease; receive it when it describes yours.
