IN THE DAYS OF HIS POWER [HEALING AND DELIVERANCE SERVICE]
IN THE DAYS OF HIS POWER [HEALING AND DELIVERANCE SERVICE] || SUNDAY SERVICE || 13TH APRIL 2025
In the days of His power He gave the word and will not leave you stranded: walk on the waters without fear, make holy trouble, and remember that they have the key but you have the access.

Summary
The Sunday before Easter was a healing and deliverance service under the banner of Psalm 110:3, "Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power". Each of the four services opened with worship ("Power belongs to you"), a prayer leader's call to alignment ("whatsoever that is not aligned to your will shall fall off"), confessions over each day of the week, and the 2025 El Roi confession. Pastor Jerry then led long rounds of deliverance prayer and words of knowledge before each sermon. His thread for the day: the currency of the believer on this side of eternity is power, not eloquence, keys or techniques. "Do not be in a hurry to walk on your result. Walk on your power base."
The first sermon (Matthew 14:22-33) was "He gave the word". Jesus sent the disciples ahead, so the storm was not the absence of His presence; it was the stage on which the world first saw a Jesus who walks on water. There are seasons when God calms the water and seasons when He gives power to walk on uncalm water, so adjust the prayer point. "It is I" means the supernatural is natural for those who know Him. Peter walked on what Jesus had already walked on, then fear entered, and fear is how a miracle is lost. The second sermon (Acts 16:19-30) called the church to be "holy troublemakers" who refuse the status quo, who sing and pray at midnight because the light of revelation is already inside them, and who see the jailer's key made irrelevant: "They have the key. I have the access."
The third and fourth services preached Acts 3:1-11. Power people take over their gates (a cripple has no business at a gate called Beautiful), offer more than the generation asks for ("silver and gold have I none, but such as I have"), dare to say "look on us", and grab the situation by the hand until it rises. In the last service he added: what you have is enough, so stop comparing; the days of His power are days of prayer, and a "17-storey destiny" cannot run on an "I pass my neighbour" generator prayer life; and they are days of zero tolerance for negativity and of taking responsibility instead of trading blame.
The words of knowledge ran through the day: reversed hypertension, diabetes, kidney growths, sickle cell genotypes, leukaemia, autism, schizophrenia, a surgical item left in a tummy, blood in urine and stool, marital doors for an unmarried family, a father's house getting a new name before 8 p.m. on Wednesday, and "it will be settled this week". The God of Vengeance prayers of the coming week started a day early in the second service.
Most of the third and fourth services went to testimonies: a couple whose bed was hit by a stray bullet while they were in church, a widow granted a UK visa with residence after more than a decade of refusals, two women released after 29 hours with kidnappers, the first female bishop of the Methodist Church Nigeria (glaucoma, memory loss, a blood clot in the eye), prostate adenocarcinoma with PSA down to 0.1, sarcoidosis healed in the UK with redundancy compensation and a new job, a spinal dura that sealed without a second surgery, a Nollywood actress who got a green card and passed out of the US Army, and colon cancer gone after a 10.5 hour operation. Each service closed with the week's announcements (God of Perfection, God of Vengeance, God of Now; Good Friday; Easter), prayers for first timers and new members, Psalm 91:1-2, and the charge to walk up to 14 people and shout "Power", "Glory" or "It is settled".

Offering
- Offering, tithe and partnership in every service, raised as a wave offering; "if a word hits you, give a seed". Prayer that the devourer is rebuked and the windows of heaven open for tithers.
First timers and new members
- First timers in Abuja (church and overflow) prayed for and asked to fill the usher's form "for two reasons: we want to get across to you and keep you in our prayers". Those deciding Streams of Joy will be their church prayed for: "whatever runs in the prophetic DNA of our ministry, let it run in your life".
- Fourth service: visitors who flew in from outside Nigeria were called forward and blessed: "Three months after you leave here, things are going to happen so fast your head will swim", followed by seven "congratulations".
Testimonies to send
- Testimony forms at the inquiry desk; fill and submit before the next service to be scheduled to testify on Sunday. "The miracle is yours, but the testimony belongs to God."
Social / sharing
- Pastor Jerry's WhatsApp channel: scan the QR code on screen, or in WhatsApp Updates search "Pastor Jerry" and follow the channel with the blue tick. A testifier and the host urged everyone to join it.
Communion
- No communion was served. Several testifiers said they took communion during NSPPD (one rubbed it on his legs and later on his surgical wound).
Testimonies played / recapped
First and second services
- Stray bullet (a couple): They usually attend first service but woke late; the husband insisted they still come. They had slept in her room because his AC was broken. While they were in church a bullet came through the roof onto the exact spot of the bed they had left; it was found inside the mattress the next day.
- UK visa after years of refusal (a widow, Lagos): Married 2008, widowed five years later. Visa refused for about 11 years and 8 months while her son got a British passport and left in 2021; she had not seen him since. She attended the Ghana conference and the Lagos conference and held up her passports whenever immigration was declared, vowing the end of April would not meet her in Nigeria. Five days before the visa a reversing car hit her at a pedestrian crossing without harm. Pastor Jerry noted it was a visa to stay, with a residence permit.
- Kidnapping (Mrs. Gold Alfred and a sister, name caption "Cincia"): On 21 March, about 9 p.m., gunmen (six of them) stopped their car near a junction (caption "Papape"). Two were taken; the nephew in the back seat stayed silent and was left. They spent 29 hours in a valley and a low cave. She told her sister to pretend to be asthmatic, and when the kidnappers found a soldier's photo on her phone she said it was her identical twin. They kept praying "El Roi, the God that sees, show us mercy" and the "earth will not receive us" prayer from that week's mercy prayers on NSPPD. The ransom dropped from 100 million to 50 million to 10 million, and they were released in Nasarawa State (caption "ASOC") and handed to family, unhurt.
- Recap by Pastor Jerry: this week's NSPPD testimony of autoimmune encephalitis, where doctors had said there was brain damage, reversed at a word on the altar.
Third service
- Right Rev. Dr. (name unclear; introduced as "Kim Wilu", self-introduced as "Odom Manosu"), first female bishop of the Methodist Church Nigeria, immediate past bishop of the Jos (caption "Jaws") diocese and founder of Heaven's Bounty Ministry. Her daughter in the UK introduced her to NSPPD in 2022; she has not missed NSPPD or a Sunday service since 2023 and first worshipped in person on 12 November 2023. Testimonies: the daughter's career breakthrough at a multinational after 2 years of stagnation; her husband's seven-year glaucoma, with no eye drops since January after a word "God is reversing glaucoma" and doctors seeing the optic nerves regenerating; his memory loss (gas left on, documents and passport misplaced) reversed after the 5 January third-service word on memory loss; on 14 February, 30 minutes after a word about a blood clot in someone's eye, a sharp pain and liquid blood in her left eye, clear by the next morning; her retirement service on 17 November 2024 a huge success, and on 23 December the Abia State governor (Dr. Alex Otti) appointed her to the governing council of Abia State University; for her 70th birthday on 18 February 2025 the Plateau State governor sent her on pilgrimage to Israel (15-25 February), where the pilgrim welfare boards celebrated her. She had vowed in March to testify on 13 April, and she encouraged Pastor Jerry not to answer critics and honoured his wife.
- Prostate cancer (a wife, on behalf of her husband): Hypertensive heart disease in 2020, then COVID. PSA 87.6 in May 2024; biopsy in August showed adenocarcinoma of the prostate ("grade four, grade three"). The family stood on a word that God is reversing prostate cancer, took communion together, and claimed another man's testimony of heart disease and prostate cancer as "our twin". A repeat test in the first week of March: PSA 0.1. He now climbs stairs and walks to the bus stop.
- Sarcoidosis, UK (a mother of three; name possibly Freda Jackson): Flew in from the UK to testify. A dream 8-9 years ago of a veiled figure standing over her was followed by swollen legs; later diagnosed with sarcoidosis and rheumatoid arthritis and treated with chemotherapy drugs, losing hair while her 13-year-old daughter became her carer. After the Twickenham conference in 2024 she flared in the US, added US cover to her travel insurance while already sick, and spent a week in ICU with steroid-induced psychosis; the $30,000 bill was settled and she paid $109. At the 20 October 2024 "Unstoppable Generation" Sunday, Pastor Jerry said "they say it's an autoimmune disease and you are treating it with chemotherapy... let it be reversed"; she began walking straight, CRP was negative from January to March, and she is now reviewed only every six months. Made redundant in November while sick, she laid the letter on her laptop during NSPPD, held to the 14 November and 5 December "Glorious Finish" words ("change your posture"), had a lawyer serve terms for January, and was compensated and hired by one of the biggest firms in the world. She wore heels for the first time in years. Last year that same week her daughter nearly drowned on a Nigerian beach and was saved.
Fourth service
- Norway (a woman): Lost her job in 2019, regained it in 2021 through a word of knowledge, on condition of passing a language exam she had feared for six years. Standing on "what you are scared of will not happen" and "you may not see wind, you may not see rain", she scored the highest mark and was promoted with compensation.
- Fashion designer, Abuja (a woman): On a Tuesday night the WhatsApp channel word said "the attack was meant to steal your joy... but it failed"; on Wednesday morning she was thrown onto the road on her way to a client and was unhurt. After two slow years she did 6-to-6 for the first time and brought her tape and fabric when he said "come with what you do for a living". In three months she made what she had not made in two years, with clients in America and London and celebrities calling.
- Cervical myelopathy (a woman): Diagnosed November last year and told she needed emergency surgery or risk paralysis or death. The surgeon found a growth in the spinal cord and opened the dura; afterwards spinal fluid leaked into her neck, was drained three times, and her (Muslim) surgeon offered a second surgery or "pray". She held to "God is sealing up open wounds" (first week of December), a word on autoimmune disease affecting nerves, and during the 21 days fasting "they removed a tissue from your body and you are scared it is cancer; it is not cancer". The next day's MRI showed the dura sealed and no lump. No second surgery.
- Actress and model in the US (a woman, surname caption "Chin"): Former Nollywood actress, model agency owner and pageant title holder, relocated to the US seven years ago. After paying other "prayer" sellers (her car was smashed and robbed), she found NSPPD. By early last year all her papers had expired; she filed at the end of February and had a green card by April or May. She then joined the US Army, qualified on the shooting range after praying "Holy Spirit, El Roi", went viral as "Nollywood actress joins the US Army", passed out at the end of February, and worships at Streams of Joy Dallas with Pastor K.
- Dr. Toju Thorp (colon cancer): COVID in Ghana in 2021, 17 days on a ventilator; of 15 in that ICU, 14 died. Nine weeks in hospital, up to 178 kg from steroids; he rubbed communion on his legs and walked in three months instead of nine to twelve. In October 2023 he bled heavily and was diagnosed with localised colon cancer; surgery in Lagos on 11 December 2023 took 10.5 hours and removed three further tumours. Before Christmas the wound burst open and he held his intestines in his hands. He rubbed communion on the wound, took the "colon cancer reversed" word, finished six cycles of chemotherapy without losing his hair, and all tests are now clear. He drives himself and came on a business trip.

- Something always goes wrong at the point of victory: pattern broken. The remaining days of April are redeemed.
- Witchcraft deposits eaten in dreams; arrows on the mind causing forgetfulness or strange behaviour.

Important message
- The currency for doing business on this side of eternity is power. Never has the gospel been questioned so much, and arguments end only with evidence, as with the risen Jesus and Lazarus. Do not chase results or change bulbs; go back to the power base.
- He gave the word. If God sent you, He will not leave you stranded mid-sea. Your struggle is not the absence of His presence; it is the setting for a manifestation of God nobody has seen before.
- Some seasons God calms the water; other seasons He gives you power to walk on uncalm water. A baby in spite of the fibroid, health in spite of the report.
- "It is I": the supernatural life is not mysterious or merely a feeling. Peter did not become a spirit to walk on water. You can walk on what Jesus already walked on and trampled at Calvary.
- Fear is the devil's one tool. When Peter feared he sank. Miracles and healings can be lost; what prayer brings, prayer keeps.
- A power carrier is a holy troublemaker. The day you stop troubling darkness is the day you accept whatever the devil says. Do not tolerate anything with darkness's signature, however harmless it looks.
- In the days of His power, sons and daughters sing and pray in darkness. Revelation gives light to your spirit, and it is your responsibility to give light to your environment.
- "They have the key. I have the access." Jailers, gatekeepers and "20 keys to success" become irrelevant when God opens doors no man can shut.
- Take over your gates. A destiny can be beautiful and still have a cripple sitting at its gate.
- Offer your generation more than it asks for. Dare to say "look on us"; there was a private chapter before the public one.
- Stubborn faith grabs the situation by the hand and lifts it up. "It must rise."
- What you have is enough. Stop comparing; release what you have and it will bring what you lack. God uses earthen vessels.
- The days of His power are days of prayer. A 17-storey destiny cannot run on an "I pass my neighbour" generator. Pray every five minutes, before meetings, on entering the house; amen to prayers that wait for you in the future.
- These are days of zero tolerance for negativity and of responsibility, not blame. You may not be part of the problem, but you are part of the solution, and the greatest gift you can give is hope.
What he asks of us

- Be a holy troublemaker: tell people "I'm a holy troublemaker" and refuse to accept negativity.
- Pray all the time: steal every five minutes, pray on entering and leaving places, pray when you wake at night instead of reaching for the phone, and say amen to prayers that are not yet yours.
- Stop comparing yourself; spend 30 seconds blessing God for what He gave you.
- Give offering, tithe and partnership as a wave offering; give a seed when a word hits you.
- Join Pastor Jerry's WhatsApp channel and pray along tonight at 8:00 p.m. ("And the Lord remembered me").
