GOD OF WONDERS; GOD OF PERFECTION [DAY 5]

GOD OF WONDERS; GOD OF PERFECTION [DAY 5] || NSPPD || 14TH FEBRUARY 2025

What God cannot do does not exist: like the palm tree you may bend, but you will not break, and the Lord bears you witness with signs and wonders.

Summary

Day 5 of "God of Wonders; God of Perfection" opened with worship built on Hebrews 11:6 ("You are the rewarder of those who diligently seek You... all power is in Your hands, with You nothing is impossible") and the refrain "What You cannot do does not exist." Pastor Jerry then recounted two wonders from the altar. Three weeks earlier, during the 7am prayers, a word of knowledge told someone sitting beside a woman who had been confirmed clinically dead to turn up the phone volume and place it beside her. When the prayer ended nothing happened and the daughter felt God had disappointed them, but five minutes later the mother came back to life. In the same week a wife whose husband had brain cancer surgery was told he would stay unconscious for six months and might never walk. She answered the doctor, "What God cannot do does not exist," called her husband's name in the ICU and he opened his eyes; when staff removed the window blinds to take his stretcher out, he stood up on his own feet. He called this "a revival of the strange acts of God."

The prayer section ran on Hebrews 2:4, which he called "our rhema word": "And the Lord bore me witness with signs and wonders, diverse miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His will." Congregants declared that they will not begin a new journey of negativity (cancer, business setback, pain, shame, delay), that they have arrived in a new season, and, from Balaam in Numbers 22, that they are "already blessed and cannot be cursed" while the Lord stands as an adversary and blocks every plan against them, as the angel blocked the donkey. A long "blocked by fire" list followed: reduction, limitation, demonic exchange, rising and falling, evil medical reports, the spirit of suicide, witchcraft and attacks on finance, reputation, children, career and health. A word came to "take back your focus."

The central picture was Psalm 92:12, "The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon." He drew out the palm tree's traits: it grows up to 100 feet, every part of it is useful, its roots find water however dry the ground, and as the tallest tree it is the target of every wind, yet "it bends but it never breaks" and rises again after the storm. Declarations: "I may bend but I will not break," "Who put a limit on how far I can go?", and a prayer for 21 days of exponential growth that breaks cycles. Naomi hearing in Moab that the Lord had visited Bethlehem with bread became a word that what someone is looking for would arrive at their house within 24 hours.

Words of knowledge followed (fibrosis, glomerular basement membrane disease, brain disease, multiple system atrophy, a case marked for liver transplant, a blood clot in the eyes, a condition affecting spine and pelvis, a family siege of death in the 40s), along with words to someone tempted to follow the crowd ("I called you to be different") and to someone told to lay down their own weapon and strength. After prayers for others (Job praying for his friends), a time of glory and worship ("I see the Lord, high and lifted up"), a seed of thanksgiving and a prophetic word over the congregation ("today shall be the beginning of all beginnings"), the service closed with announcements of Furnace of Answers on Monday and Tuesday, five video testimonies, salvation, three communions and the "seven congratulations." The opening story was replayed at the end of the stream.

  2. The glory of God has taken over.
  3. Communion of answers: kneel and ask the Lord for three things you desire.

Seed and anointing

  • Pray over whatever material you use (mantle or cloth): it ceases to be ordinary and becomes a symbol of God's power; lay it on your head.
  • "Put together the seed of thanksgiving"; do whatever the Lord asks.

Testimonies played / recapped

  • Clinically dead mother revived (pastor's recap, three weeks earlier): word of knowledge during the 7am prayers to put the phone on loud beside a dead woman; five minutes after the prayer ended she came back to life.
  • Brain cancer surgery: doctors said the husband would be unconscious six months and might never walk. His wife insisted "what God cannot do does not exist," called his name in the ICU and he opened his eyes; as staff took out the window blinds to move his stretcher, he stood up.
  • Son freed from 30 years of alcoholism: a mother wrote his name in her Bible and prayed into another woman's testimony. In April 2023 he said alcohol now tasted bitter and made him want to vomit; two years later he is still free, became a believer and was baptised four months ago, as was her other son.
  • Rosemary, fibroid: diagnosed with fibroids (first in 2004, per captions); during the "shake it off" prayer on 11 February she laid her mantle on her stomach, felt cold come over her and the pain went. A scan on 12 February found no fibroid.
  • Child's focal epilepsy reversed: two hospital confirmations, then the parent stopped medication and brought it to the altar. On a Friday when epilepsy was mentioned on the altar they went for tests; results on Saturday showed no epilepsy, and the doctor asked whether the child had really had it.
  • Canada (name unclear, captions "Mam Arasa"), Lagos prayer conference last Friday: her mother, 16 years after a first stroke, had a second stroke and was near coma. During "Babylon has fallen" she asked God for her Auntie Tina to call with confirmation; within seconds a video call showed her mother speaking with her eyes open. She was also healed of five years of severe lower back and waist pain (captions "pilosis", likely spondylosis) that physiotherapists and chiropractors had not helped; she now squats and jumps in the gym.
  • California, leiomyosarcoma (captions "Leo May s", "mayos Saka"): uterine mass removed in August 2023 and found cancerous; she refused chemotherapy and her doctor wrote that she had "strong faith that she is healed." Later PET scans showed masses in the pelvis and a fast-growing liver mass. She stood on "what they saw before they will not see again." The PET scan on 12 February 2025 was clear, liver included, with no sign of malignancy. Pastor Jerry noted the altar is "not anti medicine" and prayed "you will not boast with God and end up in shame."
  • Pastor K: people who watched the Lagos conference online carry as many testimonies as those who attended: "we can bend, we cannot break."

Words of knowledge / healing declarations

  • Fibrosis.
  • Glomerular basement membrane disease (captions "glow ruler basement membrin disease").
  • Brain disease; an infection.
  • Multiple system atrophy.
  • A case told it can only end with a liver transplant ("Let it be reversed").
  • Blood clot in the eyes.
  • A growth or condition affecting both the spine and the pelvis.
  • A family where a siege of death strikes members once they reach their 40s: "Let it be broken."
  • Someone whose speech feels glued shut "like adhesive / super glue" after a painful life.
  • Someone doing things "because they are all doing it": "I called you to be different; receive strength to be different."
  • Someone told to lay down their own weapon: "Your ideas, your strength, your confidence are not enough; lay it down before me."
  • Demonic winds that blow out the light of high flyers: silenced.
  • Physical signs during the glory: shaking, fire on the palms, the stomach vibrating.

Important message

  1. God is reviving "the strange acts of God." What He cannot do does not exist, and the delay of five minutes or a doctor's verdict does not cancel His word.
  2. Faith is now. Like the wife in the ICU, faith speaks back to the report while it still looks impossible.
  3. God bears witness to His people with signs, wonders, diverse miracles and gifts of the Spirit. This is a new season, and no power can overturn what He has done.
  4. God's people are already blessed and cannot be cursed. The Lord Himself stands as an adversary against every plan, the way the angel blocked Balaam's donkey.
  5. The righteous flourish like the palm tree: growing tall without limit, useful in every part, finding water in dry ground, bending under every wind but never breaking, rising after the storm.
  6. Nobody but God can set a limit on how far you go; you were born for such a time as this.
  7. God is calling some to be different from the crowd and to lay down their own strength, because human ideas cannot take them where He is taking them.
  8. Furnace of Answers is God's appointment: while the people pray, He answers.
