MORE THAN I PRAYED FOR

MORE THAN I PRAYED FOR || SUNDAY SERVICE || 19TH JANUARY 2025

Stay in his house, keep your eyes on the table, bring every empty vessel and leave Lot behind, because this is the season your cup runs over and you receive more than you prayed for, with nothing lost.

Summary

This was the Sunday of day 14 of the January 2025 21-day fast ("you have sought the Lord for the past 14 days, this is a service of rewards"), the start of its last week. The whole day ran under one theme, more than I prayed for, built on Ephesians 3:20, and as four services. Each opened with worship and "speak into the week" declarations for Monday to Saturday ("my five loaves and two fishes have become 12 baskets"; "I receive 20 years in one day"), the 2025 call and response ("2025: nothing goes wrong around me ... Heaven and earth, my case is different, I have seen the God that sees me, El Roi"), testimonies, a message, an anointing with oil, the offering and the same block of announcements. The cry of the day, shouted, prophesied to neighbours and taken back to the seats: "More than I prayed for."

First service opened with a long prophetic altar: "Let the evidence erupt ... let the former rain, the present rain, the latter rain be released all at the same time," a mandate over "the next seven days", fire on "whatever was sown when I was sleeping" (the tares of Matthew 13:25), and a curse on any power that would "rebuild the wall" and take people back after the 21 days (Joshua 6:26). Words of knowledge followed (below). The message read all of Psalm 23 and drew five things out of verses 5-6. In the oriental custom a host who loves you keeps filling your cup so you stay; he told of a restaurant in America where his pastor watched him keep eating until he learned how to set his plate. So the overflowing cup is tied to staying in the house of the host: "If I leave this house, the last one I got will be the one they saw me with." The table is prepared in the presence of enemies who are still there, so focus on the table, not on them. Read with Psalm 89:20-24, the oil on the head is what deals with the enemies who saw the table. "Runneth" is continuous: the overflow of this season is currency for the next, so gather empty vessels (2 Kings 4), know both your season and your time (Ecclesiastes 3:1; a pregnant woman's cravings belong to her season), and handle abundance as Joseph did for Pharaoh. Goodness and mercy follow, and mercy covers the overflow you let pour away.

Second service taught from John 6:1-13 on "five postures of a man expecting an overflow." Jesus asked Philip "when shall we buy bread" already knowing what he would do; Philip answered with a budget, but Andrew, who was not asked, mentioned the lad: insight into the mind of God even without understanding. "Once you start saying what is in my word, you are getting closer to what I'm about to do." The question was about bread, yet the fish was multiplied too: "everything is involved," spouse, children, career and health together. Jesus gave thanks before the miracle, so thank God now for the wedding and the appointment letter (Jeremiah 30:19), and credit good thoughts to God as readily as you rebuke bad ones. Walk toward what carries a mandate of overflow; the loaves stayed small in the lad's hand and multiplied only after passing through Jesus' hands, and he broke them first, so some people and plans were broken off "that it might multiply". Finally "gather up the fragments ... that nothing be lost", the declaration he left with the congregation: "Nothing will be lost."

Third service read 2 Kings 4:1-7. The widow's husband died and only then did the creditor come for her sons: "When something right dies, something goes into captivity," so prayer fire, discernment, passion for Jesus and consecration must not die, followed by a run of "It is not dead" declarations. Every pot had a lid, so he prayed against the covering on people's oil (Isaiah 25:7). The empty vessels came from neighbours: "You may never know the oil you have until some people give you empty vessels," so do not quarrel with those who offer emptiness. Then "shut the door": some approvals and proposals are not for social media, and the problem has often been what you said with your own mouth. The oil stopped when the neighbours' vessels ran out, so go beyond the familiar and widen your network. A joke at his wife's expense ("my daughter can marry anybody") made the point. Lastly, "sell the oil, pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest": there is market value in your gift, so multiply first and consume after.

Fourth service taught Genesis 12:1-4: after all the promises, "and Lot went with him." Reading Lot as "covering", he named coverings on revelation and vision, strongholds in the mind, demonic projections, people who are "not bad people but they don't fit into your life" (until Jonah left the boat it was not stable), and cities that "level everybody". Lot lingers, picks the small city when God says the mountain (Genesis 19:16-20), and makes excuses for divine mandates, like fasting goals still not touched in the last week. "I will make of thee" means a becoming: a bungalow is quick, but a seven-storey building, like the church's own deep foundation, spends a long time underground. God blesses and makes the name great, so you become a blessing; bless a blessed man to key into what is on him, and never curse what God has blessed (Miriam and Aaron). He added a blunt warning about sleeping with other people's husbands during a 21-day fast, and closed with a prayer over visitors who had flown in from abroad for the last week of the fast: "You will not go home empty-handed."

Testimonies ran through the day: a mother from Kano with healings for all her children and a car that somersaulted three times; Margaret Koka's baby after two failed IVFs and a womb full of fibroids; a shop fire survived after an all-night thanksgiving; a "one chance" kidnapping survivor flying to the UK the next day on a new study visa; a Cameroonian single mother married in front of the aunties who said she never would; a father reunited with a daughter he had never seen in 47 years; a woman healed of hydrocephalus headaches; and a UK grandmother whose granddaughter was born naturally in a theatre that had seen only caesareans for two years.

Testimonies played / recapped

Service 2

  • A graduate (name uncertain): finished an exam in under 30 minutes, was made to sit the next immediately, and was the only one in the batch to pass; became the first student to defend a dissertation online and graduated in December with a first class in public sector management. Her mother fell asleep at the wheel in November and walked away with nothing broken, after taking a Thursday prayer seriously while fasting.
  • A mother from Kano with her eldest son, online members since 2020 and a Muslim convert: her youngest daughter's paralysis of the tongue healed after more than 8 years; her second son, a former top pupil who began behaving "like an imbecile" in secondary school (an "exchange of glory"), restored and now in SS2; her eldest son's bedwetting up to age 15 healed nearly three years ago; that son's car somersaulted three times last Tuesday and was written off while he called her saying "what God cannot do does not exist", unhurt. She herself was healed of hormonal imbalance, endometriosis, and during Five Days of Throne Room Verdict in August 2023 of adenomyosis (a month of non-stop bleeding; doctors planned to remove her uterus, as had happened to her mother at the same age).
  • Margaret Koka, Port Harcourt (caption "potaco"): married in her mid-30s in March 2020; an ectopic twin pregnancy ended in emergency surgery; doctors found blocked tubes, ovarian problems and multiple fibroids and said only IVF could help. Two IVF cycles (2021, July 2023) failed and a doctor proposed donor eggs; she told him "the next time I come here is for antenatal, not IVF." In August Pastor Jerry said a woman with her hand on her womb who was not pregnant was "pregnant already"; on 30 November 2023 he declared "your November will end with evidence", she tested and was pregnant without IVF. Doctors warned against flying and doubted the baby would survive the fibroids; the caesarean in the US took over 45 minutes, removed a fibroid the size of the baby, and delivered a healthy girl at 36 weeks. A nurse asked whether she believed in God: "That explains it."

Service 3

  • A business owner (caption "Cha"), who had testified on the 14th of last month: after a Tuesday NSPPD she sang "you're always on time" all day and that night could only pray "thank you"; she read Isaiah 43:2 at about 1:30 am after a pipe burst. Fire then spread from the neighbour's side into her shop, where she, two staff and her 5-year-old nephew were sleeping on the couch; she stood in front of them, unlocked the door and got them out before the gas cylinders exploded and the roof fell. Seven years of work burned but all lived. She brought the ashes to the altar, forgave whoever caused it and asked for restoration.
  • A young woman (name uncertain): on 16 April 2024, after a training, she entered a "one chance" car; for over two hours she was beaten, strangled and threatened with organ harvesting. She shouted "what God cannot do does not exist", prayed the altar declarations with her hand on the car, and was thrown out of the moving car landing on her feet. Later she found that the NSPPD she had missed that morning declared "any strange incident that will bring you to the dust, be reversed." She left a five-year business (2018-2023) that had yielded nothing, started a master's application in July 2024, had tuition deposit and flights provided, and on 31 December 2024 got a UK study visa (international business with data analytics). Today was her last day in Nigeria; she had been on medication 10 of the 12 months of 2024.
  • Esther, Yaoundé, Cameroon: came to Abuja broken in February 2024 as a 42-year-old single mother of two, on the weekend of the NSPPD Ghana conference; heard Pastor Jerry's voice say "you will not go back the same way" and then "you will get married soon." A man who had only wanted a girlfriend abroad called back to propose and set a date 13 days away. From a family where no sister has married and aunties said none would, she married with those aunties present: "a table in the presence of my enemies." Her husband went to church and mosque; a framed Muslim picture broke on its own and a sudden storm stopped him going to mosque, and he now prays at midnight and 4 am.
  • A daughter and her father: 133 weeks ago she took the NSPPD declaration "lost people will be found"; two days later an Instagram DM said "I think I am your sister." Her father had left a daughter at 5-7 months old 47 years ago before returning to Nigeria and had never seen her. They were reconciled and both were in church; the father spoke a blessing.

Service 4

  • Ella (Calabar): stopped church during the COVID lockdown, lied easily and had anger issues; gave her life to Christ on NSPPD in August, joined Streams of Joy Calabar after a dream, was baptised, and on 17 October at a Thursday anointing service received the Holy Spirit and tongues (she had dreamt Pastor Jerry laid hands on her at this altar). Severe menstrual and ovulation pain and a "movement in the head" stopped after a declaration; after the 21 November prayer against elders who use the lives of the young, dreams of strange men pursuing her ended.
  • Stella (surname uncertain): two years of constant headaches treated as malaria and typhoid; after several MRIs she was diagnosed with hydrocephalus (excess cerebrospinal fluid enlarging the ventricles and pressing on the pituitary), taking painkillers morning and night. A lumbar puncture was ruled out because the pressure had affected the veins of her eyes and could blind her. She vowed, like Hannah, during last year's fast to testify. After a September episode that needed sedation she declared it would never happen again; in October she forgot her painkillers and has been pain-free without them for three months.
  • Chris Odin (spelling uncertain): on 9 December he collapsed after dinner, hit his head and bled; his wife pressed the church's mantle on the wound and the bleeding stopped before stitches at about 2 am. That morning he had been told to touch the ground and pray, and his wife held the declaration "no woman here will lose her husband." A kitchen fire in their house was put out by the house help with the car's extinguisher, with all safe. After a supply contract in which he saved the client about ten times its usual cost, he got a one-year contract, and on 31 December received an unexpected large payment to fund the next supplies. Pastor Jerry drew the lesson: integrity made them trust him with money in advance.
  • A grandmother and nurse from the UK: in 2023 her daughter-in-law had placenta praevia; she laid communion on the printed scans and it had moved by the next scan, and a breech baby turned. On 17 May 2023, before the London conference, Pastor Jerry said he was overshadowed at 3:38 am and the Lord asked what he wanted ("Lord, visit your people"). On 18 May the mother was on the table for a caesarean at 3:24 am; by 3:26 the baby was born naturally, the first natural birth in that theatre in two years. Her niece's baby, born 31 December 2024 with Hirschsprung's disease (caption "his prongs disease"), was due surgery and a stoma; after Monday's declaration that heaven's surgeons were at work and congenital anomalies reversed, Thursday's operation found nothing, there was no stoma, and the baby went home on Saturday.

Words of knowledge / healing declarations

  • "Any demonically projected face that makes people walk away from you": broken. "I see you raise your head again ... the dust is falling off."
  • Anyone sent this January to make you make a mistake: uprooted.
  • Every haemorrhoid disappearing; something "under your tongue" being reversed (caption "a big Roth under your tongue", unclear).
  • "January, February, March: your month of great financial release."
  • A family where three members are down with paralysis, not born that way: broken.
  • Many heads "empty of their crown": your crown sits on your head; "in 14 days let there be a manifestation."
  • "Your son had a [caption: bading] attack last night and almost passed out": the last time it will ever happen.
  • Prophetic act: "release a date" when it will happen.
  • Service 2: "In the next 11 days, your bread and your fish" multiplied; "by Tuesday morning your sister, your brother will call you" to say it has started; thank God for what comes "by the 31st of January."
  • Service 3: "Your favour will not die, the oil on your head will not die"; "you will be married again ... your baby will enter."
  • Service 4 close: a turnaround "in 48 hours"; "doors you did not knock on will open this week"; "your name on that list, no power will remove it."

Important message

  1. God gives more than you prayed for, but between prophecy and fulfilment you set the size of what you receive: the widow's oil stopped only when the vessels ran out. "Most of what we get or don't get is not God, it is you." Stretch your mind.
  2. The overflowing cup belongs in the host's house. Stay in his presence all the days of your life, because the one who leaves with a full cup has no one to refill it.
  3. Enemies will still be there when the table is laid. Focus on the table, the oil and the cup, not on them; the oil on your head is what deals with those who saw it.
  4. Overflow is not for leisure but for wisdom. It is currency for the next season: know your season and your time, gather empty vessels, preserve the surplus like Joseph, and lean on mercy where you wasted it.
  5. Revelation comes before evidence. You have the mind of Christ, so say what is in his word even before you understand it, and treat good thoughts and pictures as God's light rather than daydreams.
  6. When God multiplies, everything is involved, bread and fish, you and your siblings. Give thanks before you see it, walk toward what carries a mandate of overflow, and let God break what he means to multiply.
  7. Do not let the right things die (prayer fire, discernment, passion, consecration), or something goes into captivity. You may be the intercessor and light-bringer of your family.
  8. Lids and coverings hide your oil. Emptiness offered by others can provoke your oil, and you need good people and new networks beyond the familiar.
  9. Shut the door: not every approval belongs on social media, and much trouble has come from your own mouth.
  10. Multiply before you consume: there is market value in your gift. "I was made for more."
  11. Do not let Lot go with you. Coverings come as wrong visions, strongholds, demonic projections, people who don't fit your destiny, and cities that level everyone; Lot lingers, looks back and picks the small place when God says the mountain.
  12. God is making you: a long hidden foundation is a sign of height, not delay. He blesses you and makes your name great so you become a blessing. Bless those God has blessed, never curse what he blesses, and live clean: "You can't be on a 21-day fast and be sleeping with other people's husbands."
