AND GOD DID WHAT HE SAID

A whole day Sunday broadcast from Streams of Joy Abuja, four services long, all under one theme: "And God did what he said." Pastor Jerry opened with an hour of declaration over the week ahead, breaking delay by name ("break delay, break delay"), calling hanging prophecies into reality, and inviting anyone waiting on a token for good to come to the altar or lay a hand on their device. The cry he kept putting in the congregation's mouth was simple: "And the Lord did what he said."

The first service went to the four lepers at the gate of Samaria in 2 Kings 7. A word had gone out, and God was not opening windows in heaven, he was raising men. The men he raised were not healed first, they were used as they were. Everything that could turn a nation's economy was already on the ground, only held in the hands of the enemy. He also drew the difference between chronos and kairos: you know your appointed time (Genesis 18) but you have not arrived at your set time (Genesis 21), and the bridge between the two is the word you have appropriated for yourself, not the word you merely know.

The second service was diagnostic. If God cannot fail, why does a promise seem to stall? From Romans 4:20 and James 1:6, the same Greek word, diakrino, covers Abraham's "staggered not" and James's "nothing wavering". He taught three kinds of wave: wind driven waves that only hit the surface (the devil attacking your finance, your body, your relationship, all superficial), tides pulled by sun and moon (a change of season you misread as an attack), and undersea eruptions (fear and anxiety rising from inside you). The charge: "If God is not a liar, I will not be the one that will make his word a lie."

The third service read Genesis 21 with a distinguished guest in the house, Mr Peter Obi. Between the promise in Genesis 18 and the fulfilment in Genesis 21, Abraham and Sarah created Ishmael, and in chapter 21 that creation mocked Isaac. Abraham's body was dead, the promise gave it life, and the first thing that revived strength produced was something God never promised. So: guard the promise, do not help God, do not create in your waiting what will come back to haunt you. He noted too that Abraham threw his feast not at Isaac's birth but at his weaning, because heaven celebrates growth, not stagnation. The service ended with a long "set the time" prayer: every time God speaks, God sets the time.

The last service took 1 Samuel 30, David at Ziklag. Two hundred men were too faint to cross the brook Besor, whose name means good news, and four hundred of the Amalekites escaped. "Your absence is a declaration that your enemies can go scot free." God had told David how it would end but never told him who would leave him. And beside divine direction there is destiny intelligence: David only recovered all because he fed a sick Egyptian slave who then gave him the location of the raiders. Have the direction, he said, but ask also for the spiritual, emotional, business, and family intelligence to carry it.

Three testifiers stood, and every service closed with a wave offering, a welcome for first timers and visitors from outside Nigeria, and a decree that this would be one of their best weeks so far.

Operation family breakthrough, family deliverance, family transition, family access, family consolidation and establishment, family laughter and evidence, family joyful season, plus prayers for children, for your father's house, and for every member of your family.
• Tuesday: "And God broke the delay", also a rededication service.
• Wednesday: "Oh Lord, show me mercy."
• Thursday: "El Roy ended all battles."
• Friday: "My joy is full. Divine remembrance."
• Scriptures and accompanying notes for each day will be released daily, starting with Monday's.

Conference

• The NSPPD UK prayer conference holds this Saturday at the Manchester United stadium, Old Trafford, and he said it is packed out twice over. He set it against the history of Billy Graham era UK stadium meetings and churches later sold off to clubs and pubs, and called the 2024 Twin Stadium meeting a redigging of covered wells. Next Sunday the church will celebrate what God does there.

New church transition

• Midweek services at the new site on 22 October and 29 October. After the 22nd the church returns to the current building for Sunday service; after the 29th it does not return.
• The new site opens on 1 November. Seating is being capped at about 8,000, so only two services at first. Service times will be announced next Sunday.
• House rules for the new hall: take children to the children's church, no loitering, no littering, no water bottles, no food, and no chewing gum stuck under the imported seats.

Anniversary and singles

• Global church anniversary on 6 December, in all Streams of Joy expressions worldwide, at the new church venue. Dress code: black monochrome traditional for men, gold monochrome traditional for women. (He misspoke the date as September in an earlier service and gave December in the later ones.)
• Gems and Jewels singles church, 39 years and below: singles hangout themed "The Becoming, the journey of purpose", this evening 20 September 2026 at 4 p.m. at the church premises. Free buses from Mararaba, Kubwa, Lugbe and Apo.

Giving

• Offerings, tithe and partnership were raised as a wave offering in every service, with the Malachi 3 prayer over it.
• Church building project ongoing, account details on the screen.
• Devotional books and MP3s of the man of God's messages available at the emporium, along with other ministry materials.

Testimonies to send

• Pick up testimony forms from the inquiry desk, fill and submit before the next service to be scheduled to testify in church on Sunday.
• One testifier said she had sent her family's case in to the prayer email before it turned around.
• He also asked the couple whose testimony he heard this week (the twins) to send it in.

Guests

• His Excellency Mr Peter Obi was welcomed in the third service.
• First timers fill the usher's form and hand it back before leaving, so the church can reach them and keep them in prayer. Those adopting the church as their home, and visitors from outside Nigeria, were called out and prayed for at the altar.

Testimonies played / recapped

• Jane (teenager, testifying on behalf of the teenagers). Three parts. First, a university admission that should have been delayed was quickened. Second, divine preservation of her father: on 23 March the altar prayed the oath prayer, and she had been fasting all that week without knowing why. On Friday 27 March, praying a prayer from the 21 days fast themed "stop them before they stop you", her mother walked in and asked her to take the mantle from her own head and pray for her father. She prayed against death and against an accident, declaring the Lord a wall of fire round about him. The next day, Saturday 28 March, a sudden wind snapped a billboard post while her father was on a call; the broken section flew over his head and landed exactly where he had been standing moments before, and he had moved without noticing. Onlookers gathered asking whether that was not the man who had been standing there. Third, her own healing: she began stuttering as a small child after copying a relative, it worsened through secondary school and kept her silent in class. She joined the altar in 2024 through her older sister Jessica, and asked God to put her word in the pastor's mouth. On 28 July 2026 she heard him say "stuttering tongue, let that tongue be loosed", and her mother later pointed out the stutter was gone.
• A daughter testifying about her mother, hypertensive since about 2000. Paralysis in 2011, surgery in May 2025, then in August a sudden collapse: one sided weakness, drooling, no recognition of family, no coherent speech. CT and MRI found old scars, and the neurologist said the stroke was trying to return, prescribing medication at 250,000 naira for two weeks at a time, to be taken for two years. She took it to the altar instead and sent it in to the prayer email. Seizures were coming two, three, four times a day and had crippled the whole household. On the day the altar declared "seizure, let it be reversed", they stopped, and there has been no seizure since, now one year. In October a checkup diagnosed diabetes. On 21 November, from the altar, the pastor declared diabetes reversed; that evening her mother found an open wound on her leg gone while bathing. On 27 November the altar declared diabetes disappear; her sugar level fell from 12 to 7, and as she testified it was 5. Her mother, 63, now eats normally and is off the medications.
• A daughter of the house who travelled from Fiji Island, on the altar since 2020. A growth on her gum, scheduled for surgery, disappeared after she applied communion. Her daughter's persistent armpit rash, tested in New Zealand and called a minor fungal infection, also cleared with communion. The main testimony was her mother: a below knee amputation at 74. She came out of ICU in under an hour when others that day stayed far longer. Later her mother stopped responding to medication, could not eat and did not recognise anyone. The daughter flew in, routed through Abuja rather than Lagos so she could stand on this altar, sat through the whole Sunday service and danced during the "my joy is full" service of 5 July though she arrived downcast, and filmed herself dancing. She reached her father's house on Monday morning, hugged and prayed with her mother, and within three days her mother came back to life, eating and speaking. Her mother then told her she had already seen her, dancing and rejoicing with her people, before she arrived, and the daughter showed her the video. Six weeks later the daughter herself felt a stabbing pain in her back at 7 p.m. with stiffness and a stroke like sensation down one side. She prayed through the night as she had seen on NSPPD, the arm released within two hours, and after a dream in which she confronted and warned the faces she recognised in a dark room, the last pain was gone. She was heading back to Fiji in two days.
• Testifiers announced by name at the start of that segment: Chinedu, Jane, Chad Victor (from Fiji Island) and Comfort George.
• Recounted by the pastor, not from the stage: a woman pregnant with twins after roughly five or six years of waiting delivered both babies stillborn. Prayers, including the oath prayer and "Oh Lord show me mercy", went on until the hospital placed the babies in a carton and called the husband in to hand them over. As they reached the father's hands, both babies began to cry. He said he read it that morning and knelt down, and hoped the family would send the testimony in this week.

Words of knowledge / healing declarations

Spoken over the congregation through the opening prayer of the first service, largely unnamed:

• Blindness reversed, deafness reversed.
• Something involving blood, "let that blood be reversed".
• A test result reversed.
• "Any form of seizure, let it go away."
• Instant healing and instant turnaround; a family line where people are always delayed before a sound of God, broken.
• Several time bound words: "the Lord will do it in seven days", "in 48 hours it will become my reality", "it will not be up to 72 hours", "by this time tomorrow", "before September becomes October".
• An eleventh hour turnaround for those who need one; a hanging prophecy and a delayed manifestation given a token for good.

1. Nothing exists outside the word. The world was framed by it, so whatever you speak becomes a reality of some kind: either what God said through your mouth, or what your own frustration said. Ask yourself every time you are tempted to talk, who am I echoing.
2. The word that works is not the word you know is in the Bible, it is the word you moved from logos to personal revelation, the word you sat on and chewed and claimed.
3. Chronological time has no capacity to deliver evidence. Waiting for Wednesday or for next year delivers nothing. Between the appointed time of Genesis 18 and the set time of Genesis 21, the bridge is the word.
4. When God sends a word he is not opening windows in heaven, he is raising men. And the men he raises are not always fixed first. The four lepers were used, not healed. Stop telling God to heal you before he uses you; like the ten lepers, the change happened on the way.
5. Everything your season requires is already available. It is just held in the wrong hands, by the wrong systems, the wrong policies. That is why the altar prays the way it does.
6. Faith comes by hearing, so guard what you hear. The Syrians ran from a sound that was not even real. Jezebel only wrote a letter, and Elijah ran from the picture he built in his head. There are sounds you must refuse to dance to.
7. Discomfort is diagnostic. When you suddenly cannot stay where you have sat for years, when you fast more than necessary and wake in the night to pray without a prayer point, that is how you know God is about to do what he said.
8. God is not the problem when a promise seems to stall, wavering is. The devil's waves come three ways: superficial hits on the surface, tides that are really a change of season you have misread, and eruptions from inside you. None of them is permitted to shake you, "because if God is not a liar, I will not be the one that will make his word a lie".
9. Do not help God in your waiting. Abraham's dead body was revived by the promise, and the first thing that revived strength produced was Ishmael, which returned in chapter 21 to mock Isaac. Whatever you build between the promise and the fulfilment, you will have to deal with.
10. When the bond woman goes, the seed goes with her. A pattern in a family may have left a seed behind and changed its shape: it came as hypertension and dropped diabetes.
11. Heaven celebrates growth, not stagnation. Abraham feasted at Isaac's weaning, not at his birth. Whatever God gives must be guarded, must grow, and must be handed on to the next generation better than you met it.
12. Every time God speaks, God sets the time. Do not leave the time empty and do not say "anything that wants to happen, let it happen".
13. Do not stop at your brook of Besor. Besor means good news, and 200 men reached their good news and said they could not continue, so 400 of the enemy escaped. Your absence lets your plunderers walk away. Recovering your goods is not the mandate; wiping out what would return against the next generation is.
14. Divine direction is not destiny intelligence. David had "pursue, overtake, recover all" and still needed a sick Egyptian slave for the location. Some of the people carrying the intelligence you need are the ones you have to feed first, and God often grants emotional intelligence by handing you an emotional problem.
15. Stop asking people to do for you what only God can do, and stop expecting anyone to understand your journey. Sometimes the miracle was the strength to still be standing.
16. Listen to people without making it about you. When your child or your spouse says something, hear what they are saying, not what you are hearing.

• Declare "And God did what he said" over your week, and keep saying it on the way back to your seat.
• Walk up to your neighbours and say it to them, seven at a time during the services, then 14 at the close, and shout hallelujah in the ear of 21.
• Bless your week out loud, naming specific things you expect to happen in it.
• Set the time. Open your mouth and set a time for your healing, deliverance, laughter, turnaround and new season, the way God set the time for Sarah.
• Break whatever you created for yourself that was never part of the promise: "whatever I have created that is not part of the promise, I break it."
• Refuse the wrong sounds. Tell whoever speaks fear around you to avoid you, and go back and replay the word until you have heard it twice.
• Do not give up at your good news: "I will not give up, I am not turning back, I am closer to my evidence."
• Raise offerings, tithe and partnership as a wave offering.
• Singles 39 and below: the hangout at 4 p.m. today at the church premises, free buses from Mararaba, Kubwa, Lugbe and Apo.
• First timers: fill the usher's form and hand it back before you leave.

• Be on the altar at 7 a.m. Monday for the covenant day for family breakthrough, and bring a written list of every family issue you want addressed, with your family's pictures and prayer points beside you.
