BUILT TO LAST - PART 3

This Thursday Word & Fire service is Part 3 of Built to Last. Worship opens with rescue and praise: "You have rescued my life, and I am never going back"; "You're my redeemer"; "My hallelujah belongs to you"; "You deserve it"; "Almighty God, the great I am, you have done what no man can do"; "When I see you, this will be my song"; "Yours is the kingdom, yours is the power, yours is the glory"; "Holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, the earth is full of your glory." The house is told to stand, thank Jesus, and pray in the Holy Ghost, building up the spirit man. It is named a season of built to last. Opening prayer asks the King of Glory in, healing and glory made manifest, capacity for the new season, and feet set on higher ground.

Fire prayer treats the worshipper as God's building and a carrier of glory: latter glory greater than the former; the glory of September through December bigger, better, brighter, much more; coverings over that glory answered with fire; passion, zeal, momentum, clarity and vision realigned; a strong finish for 2026. The night's cry is fixed early and repeated: "I am built to last." The house is told they were lit to last, that some stars were not candidates for the dragon, that goodness and mercy are for all the days and not some days, that any wicked calendar dated for a fall is rewritten like Haman's day, and that the blood of Jesus is Rahab's scarlet cord: others may fall, this house stands.

The word recaps buildings that did not last (Babel, Jericho, Samson's Philistine house, the house on the sand, the unfinished tower of the man who did not count the cost), then stands the house in Acts 27:14-25 and 41-44: Euroclydon, hope taken away, the angel of God, and every soul safe to land. Paul had perceived loss of life. The angel corrected him: there shall be no loss of any man's life, only of the ship. He had to stand up a second time and declare life as loudly as he had declared death. The charge of the night is that you are not in the ship to make predictions. Lives have been given into your hands. Eat in the storm. Stay alive in the Zoe life of God, not as a spare tyre. Some will swim; some will hold broken pieces; all will get there. The close is a wave offering, the grand finale of Furnace of Answers tomorrow, Sunday communion, Psalm 91, and fourteen people hearing "I am already there."

• Recap from NSPPD two days earlier: a woman was told again and again that her baby was dead, and the baby was dead, but she kept saying, "My baby is not dead." Used as a picture of everyday people declaring from the Zoe life they carry.

Words of knowledge / healing declarations

• No separate clinic-style words of knowledge. In the Zoe block he declared that if they are alive, cancer will not last, tumour will not last, diabetes will not last, hypertension will not last, and children will not be touched. High blood pressure and heart palpitation are named as what worry can leave you with even after a good ending.

Upcoming

• Tomorrow (Friday 11 September), Furnace of Answers grand finale (captions: "fondness / Forness of Answers"). 1. You are God's building, and a building carries glory. Latter glory is greater than former glory. The glory of January is not the ceiling. September through December must be bigger, better, brighter. You were built by Arroi. You are lively stones. The fire of a burning and shining light is specified never to go out.
2. What does not last is still the warning of the series. Babel did not last because they wanted a name for themselves. Jericho did not last because it stood against the purpose of God. Samson's stage-house did not last because the pillars were where anyone could hit them: if all that you are is all that people can see, you will not last; there must be a private altar behind the scenes. The house on the sand was beautiful and still fell. A house that will last has a cost: the prayer it requires and the work it entails, plus the relationships you refuse and the sent men and women you connect to.
3. Perception is not the same as the voice of God. There is perception, there is knowing, and there is the clear voice of God. Paul perceived damage and loss of life, and the storm came. Then the angel said, no life will be lost. Thank God for your perception; it still has to be corrected. When the angel spoke, Paul stood up a second time and declared life as publicly as he had declared death. The word for the now, once you walked into Streams of Joy, is that the path of the just shines brighter, there is a river that makes glad the city of God, and she shall not be moved.
4. You were not put in the ship to make predictions. The angel's point to Paul: I did not bring you here to forecast disaster; I brought you here because I am handing everyone who sails with you into your hands. God is holding you responsible. The day he chose you, he broke the backbone of poverty in your father's house. The day you understood prayer, he removed a covering cast. That brother whose door has not opened, that sister still on the journey, that son or daughter: they were given into your hands. If you are the only one who discerns the pattern, it is your assignment. Your mandate is not "things will spoil." Your mandate is: even if it has spoiled, I reverse the order.
5. Eat in the storm. The wind did not stop when Paul told them to eat. God knows it will end well; he also wants you preserved in the storm. Do not arrive at a good ending with wrecked health because you worried the whole way. Eating here is taking in the word. What will calm the storm is what you are taking in.
6. No life will be lost if Zoe is at work. The ship may scatter. Anything without life, Paul would not vouch for. Anything that carries the breath of God, nothing happens to it. Would he put his breath in you and watch you go down? Zoe is not a spare tyre and not a second option after "normal life." Your first response in a crisis tells whether you are alive or dead. Depression, panic and anxiety as first language mean you are not alive. The word dwelling richly, the confession "I shall not die but live," the body as the temple of the Holy Ghost as operating system: that is being alive. If they are alive, cancer, tumour, diabetes and hypertension will not last.
7. Broken pieces still get you there. Some swam (skill). Some held boards and broken pieces of an already scattered ship. The devil thought he broke it; that broken piece was enough. Do not let anyone say it was the plank that saved them: a word had already gone out that no life would be lost, so God can use the broken, the scattered and the despised. A broken dream, a broken expectation, can still carry a man to destiny. Things broke, but I still got there.
8. Do not stop at perception; lay hold on clarity. Perception can tell you the atmosphere is wrong. Clarity brings the instruction attached to it. Even a sentence said by mistake must be cancelled. Do not let a joke introduce what is not in your life; return it, then you can all laugh.

Today / this season

• Pray in the Holy Ghost; stir the spirit man; take delivery of the word; ask to be baptised with capacity for the new season.
• Declare: "I am built to last. I am carrying his glory as his building." Glory of September, October, November, December: bigger, better, brighter, much more.
• Fire against coverings over your glory, satanic transactions in the house, dragons that attack in a season of shining, voices that limit goodness and mercy to some days, winds and storms aimed at the work of God, and any wicked calendar dated for your fall.
• Place the blood of Jesus on destiny, finance, family, children, ministry and days, as Rahab placed the scarlet cord; declare you are exempted by the blood.
• Call for extra oil so you are not the foolish virgin.
• Reverse every wrong perception you have spoken as reality: "I change it. I reverse it."
• Tell seven neighbours: "There shall be no loss. You are built to last."
• Tell your neighbour: I am anointed, favoured, full of the Holy Ghost; the hand of the Lord is upon my life; I will last in power, glory and favour, from one level to another.
• Eat the word in the storm; refuse to finish well with a ruined body.
• Stay in touch with Zoe: first response is faith, not fear. Cancel the devil's report. Shout "I am alive."
• Hold the broken piece if that is what you have, and shout "I will still get there."
• Cancel careless speech and careless jokes over your life.
• Bring offering, tithe and partnership as a wave offering.
• Share with your neighbour what blessed you tonight.
• Close with Psalm 91. Walk up to 14 persons and scream "I am already there."
