OH LORD SHOW ME MERCY

The altar opened in fire before it opened in mercy. Pastor Jerry began by declaring that anything in a life "not in line with the will of God" must be altered, calling out wheelchairs he said were being lifted, women waiting on the fruit of the womb ("no matter what the medical report… carry your evidence right now"), families that "will no longer record premature death," and businesses under siege. He kept returning to one line: "Whatever that followed you here - except there is no God - you will not live with it."

The body of the service was a sustained mercy cry rather than a sermon. For the better part of an hour the congregation prayed "Mercy Lord… Arroi, mercy," built almost entirely out of Scripture: God's mercy on them that fear Him from generation to generation, His mercy enduring forever, mercies new every morning, "it is of Your mercy that we are not consumed." He then aimed mercy at specific places - "mercy where I have failed, mercy where I am tired, mercy where I am confused, mercy where I have been delayed, mercy where I cannot fight the battle by myself, mercy where I am surrounded by a host of negativity." Alongside it ran a second cry, "the God of my journey," for people who "cannot fight the way they are fighting" and do not know who their opponents know.

Mercy was then declared to prevail. Lifting "the banner of the blood of Jesus," he had the congregation scream "The blood of Jesus" ten times, then "The mercy of God has prevailed" - over health, children, finances, struggle, guilt, confusion and direction. From that point he moved into a long stream of words of knowledge, reversing named conditions one by one: toxic megacolon, a shifted heart, blood in the liver, an enzyme deficiency (caption: "anti forcefully deficiency"), paediatric fungal endocarditis, an autoimmune condition, a septal/sinus defect, wrong electrical signals in the heart, ovarian cancer, a brain sending muscles the wrong signal, children with no development - plus family patterns (three people in one family with brain tumours) and a marital siege that starts "the day they pay your dowry." He closed the segment with a "bounce-back anointing" over careers, children and evidence.

Six testimonies were played or recapped: a woman whose mother had hated her from birth and who, after asking God for family reconciliation, received a message from that same mother the following Tuesday ("40 years in one day"); Apostle Einda, UK-based and originally from Uganda, whose brain tumour and fluid accumulation vanished off an MRI after last year's UK meeting; a stomach GIST (gastrointestinal stromal tumour) patient who had been vomiting blood and whose doctors had given up; a man in Ghana who asked God to put "skin cancer" in the pastor's mouth for his son's colleague's wife Andy in Canada - biopsy came back zero cancer; a breast cancer patient whose mammogram six months later showed nothing in breast or lymph nodes; and Chika, married since 2018, three failed IVF cycles, who used a mantle and communion after the 2024 birthday service and conceived twins in October 2024.

He ended with communion in three servings, a full "The Lord has shown me mercy" declaration, and a charge to come back the next morning ready: "Write down every level you don't want to be in again… that will be the first thing we handle tomorrow."

Salvation

• Salvation prayer led twice: "Lord Jesus, come into my life. Come and be my Lord and personal Savior. Forgive me my sins. Cleanse me. Sanctify me. And make me pure and holy again. Amen."

Communion

Three servings, in this order:

1. A clean bill of health (caption: "clean bill of hell") - "mark my words, since the beginning of this week, it's not a coincidence."
2. "The mercy of God has prevailed."
3. A communion of yourself - kneel wherever you are and ask the Lord for three things you desire of Him. "I decree it is done."

Each serving: "Eat of the flesh of Jesus… and drink of the blood of the new covenant."

Testimonies played / recapped

• Family reconciliation: A woman who had been in the previous Sunday's service heard a reconciliation testimony and asked God for one of her own. Her mother had hated her from birth - she had been told the daughter was an ogbanje child, refused to breastfeed her, sabotaged her marriage by telling the in-laws she was a prostitute, and told her openly "I want you to die." On the Tuesday, that mother messaged: "I can see the hand of God on your life, and I want you to pray for me… you are the leader, I know God will use you to bring the whole family together." Her summary: "40 years in one day."
• Apostle Einda - UK-based, originally from Uganda: After brain tumour surgery in Uganda that nearly killed her and left her almost blind, fluid accumulated in the brain and her head swelled; a tube running to the brain had broken and another operation was pending. A "mama" connected her to the altar and bought her a ticket to last year's UK meeting, where Pastor Jerry declared, "As you go back to check, I command that tumor to disappear right now." The swelling went; a follow-up MRI found nothing. She has taken no medication since.
• Stomach GIST (gastrointestinal stromal tumour): Vomiting raw blood constantly and living in pain, facing surgery she could not afford; the doctors had given up. Her brother told her to join NSPPD even if she could only lay the phone on the bed and listen. She heard the pastor call "intestinal stromal…" and later "anyone you gave any form of cancer, let them go." Repeat tests turned around.
• Skin cancer in Canada - prayed from Ghana: A father's son in Canada told him a colleague's (Harley's) wife, Andy, had been diagnosed with skin cancer. He sent them "Oh Lord Show Me Mercy" to play on low volume in their room, and told them to pray during the two-week biopsy wait that God would put "skin cancer" in Pastor Jerry's mouth. At 6:45 Ghana time, two or three minutes after he prayed it, the pastor declared "Skin cancer… the devil is a liar, let it be reversed." The biopsy came back negative - zero cancer.
• Breast cancer: A lump seen in 2024, confirmed in 2025; diagnosed in May, on a day when a colleague at her workplace had died of breast cancer. What held her was the altar's repeated word, "breast cancer, let them go," and "this sickness is not unto death." A mammogram six months later showed no cancer in the breast or the lymph nodes. "I learn more of scriptures from your prayers than when you are preaching."
• Chika - twins after six years: Married 2018; a fibroid was removed and still nothing; three IVF cycles, all negative. She joined the altar, then travelled from Owerri to Abuja for the 2024 birthday service (22-23 August 2024), where the fruit-of-the-womb declaration was made. She took cake home, prayed the next morning over "that one thing that has never happened to you," used a mantle a worker gave her and later the holy communion from the altar, praying "let this flush out everything that is making me not to conceive." In October 2024, for the first time in her life, she saw two red lines - and was carrying twins. She had vowed to return to the altar to testify.

1. Mercy is the argument you make when strength has failed. "By strength shall no man prevail… I cannot fight the way they are fighting, I cannot go where they are going, I do not know who they know. Here I am." The whole service was built on coming to the throne of grace with nothing but God's mercy as leverage.
2. Mercy is not a mood - it endures, and it prevails over judgment. Everything opposing God's will for a life "will not endure"; only His mercy endures. Mercy rejoices over judgment, so every charge, contention and condemnation standing against you is answered by the outpoured blood.
3. The blood is the banner. "It doesn't matter what has happened, it doesn't matter what the experts have said" - the blood of redemption, of the new covenant, of our victory, that broke the backbone of infirmity and affliction and takes away every guilt.
4. God does not warehouse prayers. "You do not stop prayers, You answer them. You don't pack prayers in Your warehouse. You are a rewarder of them that diligently seek You."
5. He finishes the work and cuts it short. "God has finished the work. He has cut it short by mercy. He has done a short work in my life."
6. Mercy rewrites history and renames you. "It did not end the way the devil planned it. The flow of God's compassion rewrote my history, changed the patterns and gave me a new name" - married, pregnancy, celebration, congratulated, open, another beginning.
7. What is coming is not one. Echoing the twins testimony: "When the Lord decided to give, God didn't give one. The door God is opening is not one. The favour coming your way is not one. The turnaround is not one."
8. Guard your family from the peddlers. From the reconciliation testimony: "Be careful of those who peddle things that scatter families, that make children hate their parents or a husband hate his wife. He is called the Prince of Peace."
9. The glory belongs to God alone. On the run of cancer testimonies: "It is easy to be on the altar on NSPPD and get used to this… we will never take this glory to ourselves. Look at the One that is doing it."

• Pray the mercy cry in your own words: "Show me mercy where I have failed, where I am tired, where I am confused, where I have been delayed, where I cannot fight the battle by myself."
• Shout "Arroi" when you don't know what to say, what to pray, or how to cry.
• Scream "The blood of Jesus", then "The mercy of God has prevailed" over your health, children, finances, struggle, guilt, confusion and direction.
