AND GOD MADE ME LAUGH

The Sunday of the final week of the 40 Days of Power, Miracles and Manifestations, and the Sunday before Pastor Jerry's birthday (22 August - he told the church he is turning 44). The service opened with worship, a "speak into our week" call-and-response, and a long altar prayer against every power manipulating time, every hijacker of laughter, and every mindset of shame - with two prophetic timers attached: "in 48 hours there will be an evidence" and "24-hour turnaround." The congregation's declaration all day was "And God made me laugh - nothing missing and nothing broken."

The first services were built on Genesis 21:1-7. Pastor Jerry divided the theme into the laughter of God and the laughter from God. The laughter of God is Psalm 2 - the heathen rage, and He that sitteth in the heavens laughs; that is a believer's capacity to stay joyful in the middle of negativity. The laughter from God is Genesis 21:6, Sarah with a baby in her old age. His claim: "every laughter of God will always precede the laughter from God," and "the only way to describe a Christian who understands laughter is a Christian who has tears in his eyes but laughter in his mouth."

He then asked God's question back on the congregation - "Where is Sarah thy wife?" Sarah was behind the tent, under a covering; Abraham had seen the visitors and Sarah had not, so Sarah laughed. "Where you are now has a tendency to obstruct, to sabotage the new season God wants to release." From Hebrews 11:11 he drew the sermon's sharpest point: Sarah received strength, not just a baby - "the greatest gift God was going to give to Sarah was not a baby but strength… your baby is in the strength I'm giving you."

The second-service message, from Genesis 21:9-13, was hijackers of your laughter. Hagar despised Sarah before Ishmael ever mocked Isaac - "it is called a pattern." Two charges came out of it: God wants "blessed men under control" (Ishmael was blessed but out of the house), and go and submit yourself - God told Hagar to return and submit, not because Sarah was right but because of alignment. He also warned that Ishmael could mock Isaac only because Isaac was still a baby: "for as long as you remain a baby, the enemy will mock the promises of God over your life." And: anyone under bondage will hand you the gift of Ishmael, which is mockery.

The third service read Psalm 2:1-9 and camped on posture. "He that sitteth in heaven shall laugh" - not standeth. With Ephesians 2:6 ("made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ"), he argued that laughter is the mature believer's response to negativity because of where he is seated: "I'm not laughing because I don't understand the seriousness of the matter, but because God is already in charge." In the same service he gave his own testimony - seven years of the altar in March, no BP or sugar issues, barely sleeping at night, "I never woke up one morning thinking I was going to do miracles… the day you lose it is the day you think you are the one doing it." He also warned the church against the greatest danger he sees: "most of your problems is that you have gotten used to God."

The fourth service turned to 1 Samuel 1:1-19 and a message titled "a letter from Peninnah." Peninnah is not a person to pray away but a facilitator: "the gift of knowing a bad situation is bad." Peninnah only provoked Hannah at Shiloh - at the place of encounter - and drove her from normal prayer to groaning, from the dining table to the temple. "Your Samuel will not come on the dining table… leave the dining table and get into the prayer room." Between services, dozens of testifiers came from Abuja, Lagos, London, the UK and the US.

Theme and timing

• Next Sunday, 23 August: theme "WHEN GOD ANSWERS" - the congratulations service and the global lead pastor's appreciation service, in all four services: 7:00 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 10:15 a.m., 11:45 a.m. Dress code: gorgeous.

Venue

• The move to the new permanent site does not happen next Sunday: the contractors did not deliver the part needed to fix the power panel. Temple keepers had already gone the previous day and fixed the seats; the pastor apologised and said the site is otherwise ready and the fix is expected this week.
• Services continue at the current venue: M&M Event Center, 11 Tafawa Balewa Road, beside Nicon Luxury Hotel, Garki, Abuja. Visitors who booked travel were told not to cancel.

Offering, partnership and church project

• Offerings, tithe and partnership are given standing, lifted as a wave offering. Prayer over it from Malachi 3.
• Direct charge: "Don't neglect your offering… don't let God allow you to service negativity with your money. Don't let an issue come up and then you end up giving your offering to cancer."

Testimonies given in the services

• Chidera (media unit, Abuja) - preserved from a snake in her house and a fire outbreak; a lecturer she rejected had blocked a course and she lost a year; within two weeks of joining Streams of Joy online, her sister sent the graduation list with her name on it. Diagnosed with hormonal imbalance in 2022; no period for the whole of 2025; it returned on 27 March, the morning of the NSPPD anniversary, and has been consistent for six months.
• Paul Michael Leban (Akwa Ibom) - lost about ₦60m in a cooperative when Niger Dock was scrapped in 2017. Joined the fire altar in 2024. Took the word "your name is on that list - arrange your papers." Called on 1 May for an interview he never applied for, asked only what he knew about a crane, told "congratulations," then had accommodation and transport added to a seven-figure offer. Started 1 June; now in his second month.
• An unnamed mother - on Saturday 11 July, two days after her daughter's birthday, the child swallowed a button battery from a dismantled remote. X-ray found it lodged in the oesophagus; a ~6-hour window before it melted. Surgery late that afternoon succeeded; the retrieved battery had already rusted. She prayed the "Oh Lord, show me mercy" prayer; the child was eating rice by Sunday.
• A woman from London (first time in Abuja) - prayed on 1 July after the new-month declaration "what God has not done for seven years, he will do." Conceived in September with twins; the leading twin's heartbeat was lost, abnormal amniotic fluid index, referred to UPTH; refused admission and incubation. After a prayer against heaviness, the scan reported a vanishing twin. The dead twin passed at home before labour; she delivered normally without theatre - "nothing missing, nothing broken." The baby was later held in ICU on suspicion of a hole in the heart and jaundice; discharged clear.
• Gloria (flew in from Lagos with her sons) - introduced to NSPPD by her boss's wife, a Muslim; bleeding stopped the day she first joined. Booked for surgery 25 October 2025; the three-hour operation ran six and a half hours and she was lifeless on oxygen; her husband filmed it and sent it to the church prayer warriors. She revived. All ~15 pre-op tests came back clean, and the post-op pathology cleared her of cancer. Has not missed NSPPD since 2 August 2023.
• A mother from Shendam, Plateau State - diagnosed with endometriosis and an ovarian cyst while preparing for a second child; after keying into the declarations ("what you are afraid of you will not see again"), a repeat test found nothing. Presented her baby.
• Barbara - a dream of a child dying in the family; she tied one of the handband mantles on her two-year-old son's leg, and that morning he climbed over a two-storey balcony rail and held on until his grandmother pulled him back. Second testimony: reluctantly prayed the oath prayer on a Friday night; the next morning the POP ceiling of the room she and her children had slept in came down - nobody was inside.
• Louisa - law student from 2017; recurring dreams, missing exam script, two extra years, deep depression. After "you will not end in shame and emptiness" (25 July 2024) and "your name is on the list" (28 September 2025), she graduated with a second class, not a pass or third class. Thyroid swelling twice reversed after the declaration "any form of thyroid, be reversed" - surgery cancelled and the doctor asked whether a procedure had been done. Third: placenta praevia reversed; elective CS on 17 January, during which her oxygen saturation crashed - she came round after seeing Papa take her hand in the vision. Mother and baby well.
• Stella Charles (Lagos; second visit to Abuja in 30 years) - her only daughter Melody collapsed repeatedly with something speaking through her ("you will die in this your wretchedness"); after the Lagos NSPPD conference in 2024 the manifestation stopped. Her brother's two sons in America, both non-verbal with autism, now talk and are back in school doing well. Ten siblings from one mother and father who had never gathered came together on a WhatsApp group two days after the 2026 fast - the family sent Pastor Jerry a gift for it. In 2019 she was told lumbar spondylosis and osteoarthritis meant a wheelchair; she walks. Two Lagos plots tied up by a developer demanding ₦40m against a ₦15m MOU: God sent a man from London who paid her ₦55m as a non-refundable premium; the project is running.
• Praise Vakun (Nigerian living in the UK) - three UK visa rejections across a lost academic year, then a Dubai rejection. After praying for her word to be in the servant's mouth, Pastor Jerry twice said "relax, something good will come out of this… it will not end in shame." Three days later the visa was approved; she is now a student at the biggest aviation school in Dubai.
• Abiola (UK) - over 20 years in her industry, unemployed from November 2024 despite constant applications. Told by the Holy Spirit not to apply in August, confirmed from the altar ("do nothing for four weeks"); she applied on 13 August and was rejected instantly. She named a date - 27 August - and was called that exact day; within two weeks the contract was signed and the pay multiplied in pounds. Second: whole-body pain on the strongest medication, a CT suggesting pancreatitis; MRI found nothing; the word "axial spondyloarthritis, be reversed" was called from the altar and she is now pain-free and unsupported.
• A nurse/clinician from the United States - in 2022 keyed into another testifier's word and asked God for a six-figure salary; a regional officer pulled her résumé and scheduled an interview she never sought; she asked for six figures and got it, and has never earned below it since. September 2025: her son's appendix ruptured and spread; two surgeries, five days in ICU with high fever; she prayed with her mantle in the ICU and keyed into "every child in the ICU is coming out" - he was discharged the day she drove away. The $90,000 hospital bill was written off by the insurer as medical malpractice.
• Chiaka (Abuja) - her son was born at 42 weeks with the cord round his neck and not breathing; the whole delivery room prayed in tongues until he cried. On 29 July, days after Papa declared "nobody here will bury their child," the boy ate cornflakes that had been sprayed with insecticide; hospital tests found nothing at all, while a child who had merely licked Sniper the week before had died. Her own testimony: sudden severe shrimp anaphylaxis on a Friday - face, neck and legs swollen, unable to speak, the doctor reaching for oxygen. She played "Oh Lord, show me mercy," said "Elroy" and "I will not use my money to service negativity"; the swelling went down and she was sent home. The doctor never charged her.
• Goodness - a friend who used to post that all pastors are scammers now posts "what God cannot do does not exist" and transcribes the prayers, after Goodness kept sharing the link. A client who had owed her since November stopped taking her calls; she wrote his full name on a sheet by her device as taught ("lose your peace until you pay my money") and he called in June and paid. Third: in a family where nobody on her father's side married, her sister was engaged in December, introduced in January, and did the court, traditional and white wedding by June - married a doctor.
• Moni - her son, born 2019, was diagnosed at two with cognitive impairment affecting speech, behaviour, development and learning; no words, no sleep except on her shoulder and then her chest until he was almost four. She joined NSPPD on 26 April 2022 and kept the prayers playing day and night for over two years. After the words "the mercy of God is coming on children with slow development," "a special grace on children with autism and all forms of slow development" (3 May), and finally "learning disabilities, let them be reversed," he began to say mommy and daddy, became interactive at school, and - after the school wanted him to repeat a class for not writing - was declared fit for the next class two weeks into resumption. He now writes well and had all A's in his last exam.

Words of knowledge / healing declarations

Given during the opening altar prayer:

• Any power manipulating your time or the calendar of your life - broken; holding powers introducing emptiness - reversed.
• "In 48 hours there will be an evidence"; then "in 24 hours… a 24-hour turnaround. It may not be for everybody, but the one I am talking to."
• Stones in any part of the body - kidney stone, bladder stone, stones in the brain - "let it fall off."
• "I don't know the woman I am talking to, but that baby will not die in your womb."
• "Don't fight this battle by yourself - I will fight for you."
• Cancer and retinal detachment (caption: "cancer of deliver detachment") - reversed.
• Myopia, glaucoma - reversed. Hepatitis, endometriosis - reversed.
• Powers that wait for one person in a family to rise and drag them down - reversed.
• Anyone with an ulterior motive around you - exposed by fire.
• Later, mid-message: "On the 26th of August, someone under the sound of my voice - you will not lose what is precious to you"; the agenda of hell for you to lose what is precious, reversed.
• For anyone silenced where they speak - whatever is used to silence your voice, broken; and image-exchange at any altar (your image swapped for a goat or an ant) reversed.
• Every pattern that "has happened before and the enemy wants to happen again" - broken.

1. There is a laughter of God and a laughter from God, and the first comes before the second. Psalm 2's "He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh" is laughter in the middle of raging, not after it stops. Sarah's "God hath made me laugh" is the evidence that follows. A generation is waiting for laughter from God without ever learning to laugh like God.
2. Joy is had, not felt. "The joy that we have in Christ - we don't feel it, we have it." The supernatural defies logic; if you are following the logical route, something is wrong with your perception of what God can do. A Christian who understands laughter can have tears in his eyes and laughter in his mouth at the same time.
3. Where you are determines what you can receive. "Where is Sarah thy wife?" - she was behind the tent, under a covering, and had not seen what Abraham saw, so she laughed. Not geography: mind, perception, and where you are in your journey with God. Where you are now has the capacity to obstruct and sabotage what heaven wants to release.
4. The gift is strength before it is the answer. Hebrews 11:11 - Sarah received strength to conceive because she judged him faithful. "Your baby is in the strength I'm giving you." Sometimes what you need in destiny is not the answer but the strength to carry it, so that what comes will not take you away from God.
5. Faith rests on faithfulness, not on evidence. She did not judge him faithful because she conceived; she conceived because she judged him faithful. "You are too faithful to fail me. You are too loving to leave me halfway."
6. The source of your laughter must be eternal, not circumstantial. "The source of your laughter cannot be your car - the day they hit that car, they will hit your laughter." Circumstantial laughter is transient; the ultimate laughter comes out of the purpose of God for your life.
7. Every laughter God designs will be met with a battle, and often with a substitute. A great door and effectual, but many adversaries. Hagar was the substitute for the laughter God had designed. Some seasons God will show you something that looks good but is not right, and the only word you will get is: walk away.
8. God wants blessed men under control. Ishmael was blessed but outside the house. "Don't celebrate your blessings - celebrate that you are still under God." What separates us from those who are blessed without God is that we are blessed and still submitted.
9. Submission is about alignment, not about who was right. God told Hagar to go back and submit to a woman with poor judgment. "I am not here to ask who is right or who is wrong… your heart will be the currency for your next season." He told his own story of being sent by the Holy Spirit, 15-20 years ago, to apologise to a man who had bittered him - and being answered with "I'm glad you've realised your mistakes."
10. Patterns repeat, and mockery is inherited. Hagar despised Sarah before Ishmael mocked Isaac. And Ishmael could mock Isaac only because Isaac was a baby: "for as long as you remain a baby, the enemy will mock the promises of God over your life." Anyone under bondage will hand you the gift of Ishmael, which is mockery - so the bondwoman goes, not just the son.
11. Laughter is a posture, and the posture is seated. "He that sitteth in heaven" - not standeth. Ephesians 2:6 seats you in heavenly places; the seated position is a relaxation position. "I cannot do for God what God already said he will do. I will not fight for God how God says he's already going to fight."
12. Never get used to God. "If God answers you, he is God. If he doesn't answer you, he's still God." He testified that he still does not know how any of it happens, is not afraid of death, only of not fulfilling purpose, and that the day he thinks he is the one doing it is the day he has lost his way. "Most of your problems is that you have gotten used to God."
13. Peninnah is a blessing, not just an enemy. Peninnah gives you the gift of knowing that a bad situation is bad, so you refuse it instead of explaining it away. She only shows up at Shiloh - at the place of encounter - which means she is aimed at your prayer life; whatever stops you from praying is sabotaging you. Her provocation drove Hannah from normal prayer to groaning, and from the dining table to the temple.
14. Separation precedes Samuel. While everyone ate and drank, Hannah got up and went to the temple. "Your Samuel will not come on the dining table… it's going to come in the place of intercession." God was looking for a man while Hannah was looking for a child - when your desire becomes his, your desires get satisfied. Nobody remembers the name of Peninnah's children; everybody knows Samuel.
15. The laughter is meant to be distributed. Genesis 21:6 - "all that hear will laugh with me." "God is making you an influencer of new seasons." Your family, siblings and neighbours laugh because you laughed.
16. Don't minimise other people's pain. After the autism testimony: 2 Timothy 3 - perilous times when men become lovers of their own selves, so consumed with self that they no longer consider how others feel. "She craved to hear her son call her mommy. I'm not sure we understood it when she said she craved."

Today / this service

• Declare, out loud and repeatedly: "And God made me laugh - nothing missing and nothing broken." He sent people to walk up to 5, 7, 14 and 21 neighbours and scream it in their ear, and to declare it to four people on the way out.
• Come out to the altar (or lay your hand on your device / run to the screen) with "Pastor, my joy has to be full."
• Get on your knees and ask the Lord for one thing - one desire, however impossible it looks.
• Pray it yourself: "Lord, whatsoever is in me that will hinder my laughter - as your word comes, let it break."
• Call on the angels carrying your laughter to deliver it instantly.
• Give offerings, tithe and partnership standing, lifted as a wave offering - and stop treating it as routine.
• Practise your laughter: he repeatedly asked the congregation to show how they will shout, jump and celebrate when the news comes.
• Take the charge personally: leave the dining table for the prayer room; separate yourself. Some, he said, God will set on a prayer and fast this week because these next five days are a kairos moment.
• Break loose from any connection that will bring mockery to your life, career or ministry.

Tomorrow / upcoming

• Monday: be on the altar for Ephphatha - All Doors Are Open (7 a.m. WAT). Come with your "Ephphatha list" - a written list of the doors you want God to open (health, journey, father's house, ministry, business, academics, expectations, nation and city, greater things and higher ground). Invite family and friends.

• Tuesday 6 p.m.: maturity class at the church premises - continuing on evil/demonic dreams.
• Thursday: the prophetic birthday worship evening at Streams of Joy Abuja - online or on site.
