GOD OF WONDERS

The first Sunday of August opened with a long praise and prophetic-declaration segment built entirely around one name for God: El Roi, the God of wonders - "the God who does wonders without numbers." The house was told repeatedly that what happened the night before at the NSPPD US Prayer Conference in Houston, Texas was overflowing into Abuja: "God started the wonders last night in Houston. That same wonders is at work in this service."

The prayer altar ran hard on one cry: "My father, my father, let there be a rain of wonders." Worshippers declared over each day of the week ahead - Monday multiplied wonders, Tuesday wonders that swallow satanic wonders, Wednesday notable wonders, Thursday back-to-back wonders, Friday wonders that sound like lies, Saturday wonders no one expected. Specific prophetic words were released: "The Lord is giving you back your lost years", "your garments are changing", "they will not meet you where they left you", "your family will smile in 24 hours", "there will be manifestation in seven days", and "there is something God is about to do for someone in another three days - it is called Operation Shock Them." People ran to the altar on the line "Lord, it's only your wonder."

Services 1 and 3 preached Acts 9:36-41 - Dorcas (Tabitha) raised. Three moves: (1) wonder has an atmosphere - Peter put the weeping widows out; "you don't wish for wonders, you create the atmosphere for it"; (2) Dorcas was full of good works, therefore she was too full to die - "I am too full to die"; (3) Peter prayed; semicolon; then he spoke - the punctuation matters, because "it is dangerous to go through destiny without power." The close: "she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sat up" - the charge to be someone whose very presence makes a sleeping generation sit up, and who presents their family back alive.

Services 2 and 4 preached John 5:1-9 - the pool of Bethesda. Jesus does not just heal, He breaks the pattern ("Rise, take up thy bed, and walk" - walk away from the pool, and don't leave the bed for the next person). "Wilt thou be made whole?" means that no matter how long it has lasted, you make space for wholeness in your heart. "You need new God friends / kingdom friends" - among a great multitude of impotent folk, only Jesus brought a different conversation, so "your access into my life is determined by your access into God." Then the three-part mandate: Rise. Take up your bed. Walk. "Tomorrow will not meet me where yesterday kept me."

A media recap of the Houston miracles was played in every service - lumps vanishing, crutches abandoned, an oxygen-dependent woman breathing freely - and each service closed with declarations, offering, the week's NSPPD themes, and the welcome of first-timers and new members. The day's cry, repeated as people walked back to their seats: "I am a moving wonder."

Prophetic instruction for the new month

• Invite everyone - friends, family, relatives, colleagues, neighbours, "even your enemies" - to be on the altar.

First-timers and new members

• First-timers and new members were called out, celebrated and welcomed to "Streams of Joy Abuja, the home of what God cannot do does not exist."
• Ushers hand out forms; fill them and return to the ushers or the inquiry desk before leaving, so the church can reach out and put your name on the altar of fire.
• In the fourth service, guests from outside Nigeria were also called to the front and welcomed: "as you step out, you have stepped out of your pool of Bethesda."

Testimonies played / recapped (Houston, Texas - NSPPD US Prayer Conference, the previous night; replayed in all four services)

• A single mother of six who had lost everything, was almost homeless and almost took her own life - returned to testify that God blessed her maritally.
• A lump in the breast disappeared as the declaration was made ("every time I hear Pastor Jerry say 'the lump in your breast'…").
• A woman with lumps on both sides of her face (described as a "venous haemangioma"), painful for a very long time - gone instantly, "nothing on the side again."
• A young woman who came in on crutches - emergency-room-confirmed partial Achilles tear and insertional Achilles tendinopathy - felt the support brace come loose during the prayer over supports, stood, put her full weight on it, and walked without the crutches.
• A Muslim woman with severe back pain for 5-7 years - the pain totally disappeared during prayer; asked on the microphone whether she believed in Jesus, she answered "I do."
• A man who travelled from Canada with urinary incontinence - previously needing the restroom every hour; arrived at 11 a.m. and by nearly 7 p.m. had had no need to use the toilet.
• A woman bleeding from her belly button (intermittently) - the bleeding stopped as soon as that declaration was made.
• A woman who came in on oxygen and in a wheelchair with long-standing very low oxygen saturation - had no need of the oxygen from the moment she entered the auditorium; her saturation was checked on the spot and the wheelchair shown.

Words of knowledge / healing declarations

From the altar prayer (first service, and echoed through the day):

• A tumour inside the mouth, on the right side, close to the teeth.
• "The way your mother died is the way your elder sister…" - a repeating death pattern in a family - reversed.
• Someone hearing strange voices in their own house.
• "They said they saw holes in your bank" - reversed.
• Someone whose photograph with their husband was burnt on an altar so the marriage would not amount to anything - reversed.
• Someone whose heart has repeatedly stopped and had to be shocked back - reversed.
• Powers that decreed that none of the first sons in a father's house would amount to anything - broken.
• Things God has given falling out of your hands - reversed.
• A legacy of stroke in a family - broken; and "wherever they manipulated your son against your will" - broken.
• Blanket healing declarations: paralysis, blindness, deafness, tumours and growths, open wounds sealing, bleeding stopping, urinary incontinence ceasing, broken bones, mental sickness, arrows on the mind, bacterial and fungal infections, eyes, nose, ears, teeth, mouth, tongue, bladder, kidney, liver.
• Fourth-service list: tumours, breast cancer, bone issues, spinal issues, ancestral causes, eye and ear problems, BP (blood pressure) issues, diabetes, organ, kidney and liver problems; "we reject every stroke."
• Prophetic timings released: "there will be manifestation in seven days", "your family will smile in 24 hours", "there is something God is about to do for someone in another three days - Operation Shock Them", "what you are afraid of will not happen - in less than 10 days."
• A financial mandate: "Receive financial breakthroughs. Your promotion will shock you. Your acceleration will shock you… the Lord made me ten times better."

1. Wonders are God's signature, not an exception. God chose to open the Scriptures with wonders, introduced Jesus with a ministry of wonders, and flagged off the church at Pentecost with wonders. "You were made for wonders" - if your life is inconsistent with a wonderful God, that is a reason to ask yourself whether you are truly born again.
2. Wonder has an atmosphere, and the atmosphere is your responsibility. Peter put the weeping widows out of the room before anything happened. "You don't wish for wonders - you create the atmosphere for it to happen… God is not lacking in wonders; your atmosphere is not ripe and right." Bitterness, unforgiveness, fastlessness and prayerlessness are you shutting the door yourself. Moses' raised hands, the rod stretched over the Red Sea, the disciples praying at Pentecost, Elijah praying twice - all atmosphere.
3. Emotions do not turn around destiny. "Beware of those who love you but only have emotions to offer you." The widows genuinely loved Dorcas; their tears changed nothing. Even David wept with the people until they spoke of stoning him. "Let it never be said that the best you can offer your generation is tears."
4. You are too full to die. Dorcas was full of good works and almsdeeds - when she died, good works died, so heaven had to raise her. In Christ you are full of the Spirit, the righteousness of God, the armour, the word hidden in your heart, rivers of living water: "I am too full to die."
5. Peter prayed - semicolon - then he spoke. There is a generation trying to declare without ever having prayed, and it will not work. "It is dangerous to go through destiny without power… it is dangerous to be ordinary." Even a powerful man's joke carries weight, because he prayed before he spoke - which is also why we are careful not to say the wrong thing.
6. God does not take a diagnosis of how you died - He is interested in your rising. Peter never asked who killed her or how she died. Dead dreams, buried ministries, locked-up greatness, gifts of the Spirit: "Arise."
7. Live so that a generation sits up when it sees you. "She was already alive; she saw Peter; she sat up." Let your fire, discipline, phone calls, even your pictures make people sit up - "I don't want to live in a way that when they see me, they lie down." And present your family back alive: "I met her dead, but I am giving her back to you alive."
8. God is not just fixing you, He is breaking the pattern. At Bethesda, Jesus told the man to take the bed and walk out - don't leave the bed for the next person, and don't leave your family at the pool. "I'm not giving you a one-off miracle, I'm breaking the pattern… I'm going to your father's house to break the pattern."
9. However long it has lasted, keep a space for wholeness in your heart. John 5:6 fuses "he had been now a long time in that case" with "Wilt thou be made whole?" - the length of the affliction and the offer of wholeness sit in the same thought. You may complain, but never forget your why, and beware of good causes and excellent pursuits that leave you with a bad, bitter mindset.
10. You need new God friends. Among a great multitude of impotent folk, only Jesus brought a different conversation. Some friends are fire extinguishers - you gather fire in church and lose it on the way out. "Your access into my life is determined by your access into God."
11. Wonders are a covenant inheritance, and faith is already in you. "I was born into the Dangote family - I'm not struggling to be a Dangote, I'm already one." If you are born again you already have faith; you don't manufacture it. "The radicality of your faith will be the expression of the wonders of God."
12. Adversity is the stage for wonders. "There is never an expression of the deep wonders of God until there are situations trying to contradict the will of God in your life" - when the devil thinks he has done his worst, God gets His opportunity. Exodus 7:3: the harder Pharaoh's heart, the more multiplied the wonders. "It is okay that some doors are locked; it simply means it is a wonder-lock."

Today / this service

• Declare and keep declaring: "I am a moving wonder", "I am a wonder unto many", "I am too full to die", "I will be made whole", "I'm walking away."
• Run to the altar (or, online, put your hand on your device) on the cry "Lord, it's only your wonder."
• Create the atmosphere: refuse bitterness and unforgiveness, don't be fastless and prayerless, pray in the Spirit even while stirring the pot of soup.
• Speak the week's declarations out loud, day by day (Monday through Saturday), plus the 2026 confession: "Nothing goes wrong around me… I am the apple of God's eyes."
• If you have anointing oil, hold it up to be prayed over, then pour it into your palm and put it on your head.
• Get on your knees and thank God for the Houston miracles and for His hand on "papa."
• Bring your offering, tithe and partnership as a wave offering.
• First-timers and new members: fill the usher's form and return it to the ushers or the inquiry desk before leaving.
• Call your family members and tell them "walk away" - away from everything limiting the power of God in your life.
• Rise. Take up your bed. Walk. Carry something into destiny - your purpose, your assignment, your family in prayer, your ministry, your gift - and don't leave the bed behind for the devil to lay someone else on it.
• Choose your circle by their access into God.
