DOMINION IN ALL SPHERES - PART 2

A Word & Fire (evening) service, part 2 of the Dominion in All Spheres teaching begun the week before. After extended worship, Pastor Jerry opened the altar from Job 38:33 - "Do you know the ordinances of heaven?" - reframed as "can you establish the dominion of heaven on earth?" and had the congregation ask for "the grace and power that I need to take dominion in the seven mountains of influence."

The prayer section was long and militant. His frame: "Dominion is not civilian, dominion is military… dominion is not wished for, dominion is enforced." He led enforcement prayers in the order of Genesis 1:28 - dominion over "the birds of the air" (things above my control), "the fishes of the sea" (territories that are not mine), "everything that creepeth" (things within my sphere) - then binding of the strong man, fire against "satanic exchange" ("powers trying to exchange my golden crown for a crown of thorns, my throne of dominion for a seat of affliction"), a cry for angelic reinforcement over family, career, marriage and children, and commanding of gates to open (Psalm 24:7; Isaiah 45:1-2). He pressed a global note - "my influence will not stop where I am… my influence is global" - and used Zechariah's horns-and-carpenters vision against "horns of wickedness raised to limit my dominion." The altar closed with a long "I live in dominion" confession.

The teaching text was Matthew 14:22-33, read together. His carried-over foundations from part 1: the currency of dominion is power (illustrated by a two-year-old whose threat is respected because of whose son he is), identity matters ("you died with him, you resurrected as him; the life you have is the Zoe life"), and there is no dominion without declaration - "where the word of a king is, there is power… a closed mouth is a closed destiny." He warned that the devil has audacity without power: he cannot make a suggested circumstance happen "until you agree" with it.

From the text he drew four charges. First, don't look at what you are dominating. Luke 10:19 never promised dead snakes - the snake is alive and cold under your foot, but "keep your eyes on me and begin to march on them." Peter's failure was taking his eyes off what made him start. Second, the dominion mandate is not a tale of my exploit but a testimony of the faithfulness of God - because your eyes were on Jesus, others have to come months later and tell you what you trampled: "While you were waiting for the ones your eyes can see, I was fighting battles for you that eyes can never see. I saved you from obituary, I saved you from shame, I saved you from the conspiracy of hell." Third, Peter was not walking on water, he was walking on what Jesus said: "Walk on the word and you'll find yourself walking on water… From where they are they are shouting, 'He's walking on water.' From where I am, I am screaming, 'I'm walking on the word.'" Fourth, the dominion mandate is an overflow of a prayer life - Jesus had finished praying before he walked on the sea, "and you cannot be dealing with powers and you are powerless."

Two further pushes. Dominion is not spectatorship but manifestation (Romans 8:19): he contrasted the sons of the prophets who stood watching Elisha from the far side of Jordan with the one who followed, and testified that after a Lagos pastor mentioned a ₦1 billion land purchase as though it meant nothing, he went home, gathered the money he had and sowed it into that man's hand - "may you not ask money where you're supposed to get impartation." And a closing warning about little faith: Jesus called Peter "O thou of little faith" while elsewhere commending faith like a grain of mustard seed, because "there's a level of intimacy with God that forbids little faith. You can begin with faith like a grain of mustard, but you cannot end there. A grown faith is dominion perfected."

He closed with "nothing missing and nothing broken," the offering, announcements, and a commissioning: "Go and dominate."

Testimonies played / recapped

• No fresh testimonies were taken on stage. Pastor Jerry recapped the man who testified of kidney cancer, whose wife would not stop praying wherever they went; when he asked her to be quieter she told him, "you will not understand" - "in this life, if you are not chasing something, something is chasing you."
• He told his own story: years ago, based in Umuahia, he went to preach in a Lagos church, and the pastor mentioned casually that they had bought land for ₦1 billion - at a time when Pastor Jerry had never seen ₦10 million. He went home, gathered the money he had, called the man and sowed it as a seed: "I want to put this seed in your hand… just remember me."

1. Dominion is enforced, not wished for. It is a military posture, not a civilian one - "no man that warreth entangleth himself with civilian affairs."
2. The currency of dominion is power. A two-year-old can threaten a grown man if the power behind him is great enough; it is not a matter of height, stature or maturity but of whose child you are.
3. Identity is the ground of dominion. At the point you gave your life to Christ you died with him and resurrected as him; the Zoe life, eternal life, is domiciled in you. The devil's chief work is to make you forget who you are.
4. There is no dominion without declaration or proclamation. "Where the word of a king is, there is power." A closed mouth is a closed destiny - Paul's Roman citizenship helped him nothing while he stayed silent.
5. The devil has audacity but not authority. He cannot make what he suggests happen until you agree with it - "can two walk together except they be agreed?"
6. Do not examine what you have been sent to dominate. The snakes are not dead, the system is not dead, the territory does not love God, the city is not born again - but you were given power to tread. The moment you take a diagnostic look you lose faith, as Peter did.
7. The dominion mandate is not a tale of my exploit but a testimony of the faithfulness of God. God deliberately denies you the sight of what you are trampling so you cannot clap for yourself; the report comes later, from onlookers or family, and lands on you as a testimony.
8. You are not walking on water - you are walking on the word. Peter stepped out on "Come," not on the sea. Walking on water was never the target; walking on the word is.
9. The dominion mandate is an overflow of a prayer life. Jesus had finished praying before he walked on the sea. You cannot deal with powers while you are powerless - and what prayer does is beyond what it gives you: it is what it makes you.
10. The kingdom is not for spectatorship but for manifestation. Every act of the supernatural God introduces you to is a sign there is a supernatural deposit inside you to make that same thing happen - he was not just showing you, he was recruiting you.
11. You were not delivered for yourself alone. "Saviours shall arise out of Zion"; there is no rest while your brothers and sisters are still on this side of Jordan. You are a watchman set over the gates of your family.
12. Grow your faith. Little faith may begin the journey but cannot finish it; at your level of exposure to God your faith should no longer be called little. A grown faith is dominion perfected.

Today / this season

• Pray in the Holy Ghost with a military posture and enforce - don't wish for - dominion over the things above your control, the territories that are not yours, the areas where you are weak, and the things within your sphere.
• Bind the strong man over your life, family, siblings and business, and command it to pack its load and get out.
• Shout fire against "satanic exchange" - any power swapping your golden crown for a crown of thorns, your throne of dominion for a seat of affliction.
• Ask for angelic reinforcement over your family, career, marriage, children and spouse.
• Command the gates to open, and take your place at the gates of your industry, not merely in it.
• Pray that your influence will not stop in your office, your circle, or Nigeria - "my influence is global."
• Declare the "I live in dominion" and "I have dominion" confessions after him; tell seven neighbours "I have dominion," and later walk up to fourteen people and say "I dominate."
• Keep your eyes on Jesus and off what you are dominating - don't examine it, don't think about it, march on it.
• Open your Bible and get a word before you begin anything, including where you send your child to school: "walk on the word and you'll find yourself walking on water."
• Build a prayer life instead of claiming a silent dominion - "you say you are in dominion, you did not wake up to pray, how shall it be?"
• Stop spectating: when God brings you near a grace, don't just admire it. Ask for impartation rather than money, and don't let people who carry grace pass you by without speaking a word over your life.
• Grow your faith beyond little faith.
• Share with your neighbour what blessed you tonight.
• Give your offering, tithe and partnership as a wave offering, and be part of the church building project.
