THE HARVEST IS NOW - STEP IN AND CARRY THEM

This is the last Sunday of June and the last Sunday of the first half of 2026. Pastor Jerry frames the whole day as the crossing into the second half: a season of mega harvest, not delay. The house is told to take a prophetic step. The day's cry, shouted at the altar and on the way back to seats, is: "My harvest is now. I step in, I carry." He announces harvest of prayers, seed, intercession, family, career, healing, deliverance, joy, laughter, access, alignment, "drones" and "crowds", and he insists it will not be harvest in one area only. Former rain, latter rain and present rain are declared to fall together. "It is not mid-fast. It is mid-harvest."

The teaching is one message preached four ways. Harvest in Scripture, he says, is never only cars and weddings. It is responsibility (souls: the harvest is plenteous, labourers are few), becoming (sow to the flesh, reap corruption; sow to the Spirit, reap life everlasting), and manifestation (Isaac sowed and reaped). Do not let anyone shame you for material blessing, but do not reduce harvest to a Lamborghini either. From 2 Kings 4 he takes the Shunammite's son: needs piled on the knees until the knees can no longer bow; a lad carrying a lad; then Elisha's mouth, eyes and hands on the child until the flesh waxes warm. From Genesis 37 he takes Joseph's sheaves: they tried to bind his sheaf, it arose; harvest determines who is in charge; their hate does not cancel the harvest. From John 4 (after the Samaritan woman) he takes "Say not ye, There are yet four months": the Gregorian calendar and the prophetic calendar do not meet; what you say and what you see can delay what God has already made white to harvest. From Matthew 13 he takes wheat and tares: sleep makes you unaware; tares attack root then fruit; the seed of the tare is bitterness; what looks like harvest but was sown in darkness is not your harvest; the presence of tares cannot stop the wheat; the reapers are angels.

Ministry was heavy. He rebuked Midianite spirits that scatter harvest at the hour of celebration, dragons that swallow harvest (Revelation 12), organ failure, a young man dying the way his mother died, household enemies and unfriendly friends, and a family WhatsApp conversation about a child sacrifice from more than ten years ago: "a curse causeless shall not come." He told people whose word had become a miracle, then died in their hands, to shout "Dry bones will live again." Communion in the services is prayed as the flesh and blood of Jesus, and in one service as "the communion of it is done." He promised that whoever saw this Sunday would see 31 December, and that someone would receive a major congratulations before 10 a.m. the next morning as the 14-day mid-year fast begins.

Testimonies matched the theme. Mr and Mrs Idu (oil and gas, distribution, a bank judgment that ran from about 2013) stood in celebration clothes they had sewn in faith years earlier: 75% of a judgment sum appeared before noon on 31 March, the rest was wiped out on a Monday after NSPPD, and properties that would have been seized stayed. A woman flew in from Lagos after bloody breast discharge, nine hours in theatre calling El Roi, and a clean bill of health on 12 April: "Those you gave breast cancer, leave them alone." Romel from Liberia, soaked at the Liberia crusade, received a full-time Echo Wise posting to Senegal. Hope from Abuja told of seven years of insomnia, seeing the dead, a Kaduna "prophet" who used ram's blood as communion, a November death pattern (sister 11 November 2021, father 10 November 2022), then an NSPPD word that broke it: she slept like a baby that night, rededicated her life, and from 2023 until this Sunday the family had lost no one.

He closes the day by sending the house into the 14-day mid-year media fast that begins tomorrow (Monday 29 June): eat normally tonight, be early on the altar of fire, come with a 14-item expectation list and a "destroyed by fire" list duplicated 14 times, send expectations to mediafast@streamsofjoy.org, and gather again at 5:30 p.m. each day. Next Sunday's theme is My joy is full. Midweek, discipleship and maturity class stay suspended until the fast ends. "The harvest is now. Step in and carry them."

Theme and timing

• Theme: THE HARVEST IS NOW - STEP IN AND CARRY THEM. Last Sunday of June 2026 and last Sunday of the first half of the year. Wednesday 1 July is named as the first day of the second half.

Fast (14-day mid-year media fast)

• Starts tomorrow. Eat a normal meal tonight; he jokes that people sending videos of five soups and gluttony is not the instruction.
• Monday theme: And the Lord reversed it. Operation: reverse stubborn challenges, remaining on the same level, unknown battles, rising and falling, lack of celebration, continuous battles, chains and delay, lack of helpers, landmark of negativity.
• Tuesday: Arise and shine.
• Wednesday: Revived, renewed, restored.
• Thursday: Enough is enough; this battle must stop.
• Friday: Second half of wonders.
• Saturday: No evil emergency; divine exemption.
• Sunday: My joy is full.

• He charges people who already wear the NSPPD band and post everything else (Jabi Lake, "you are outside") to post Jesus: invite someone to church, ask "Have you given your life to Christ?", tell the story of a changed life.

Communion

• Taken in the services. Liquid is prayed as the blood of Jesus; substance as the flesh of Jesus. In one service he names it "the communion of it is done." Whatever is not of God is to fall off at the amen. Word: if you saw today, you will see 31 December.

• Wave offering of tithes, offerings and partnership in each service, with extra weight because it is the last Sunday of the month and the fast begins tomorrow. Devourer rebuked. Church building project still open; account details on screen.

Welcome

• First-timers at Streams of Joy Abuja: fill the usher form so the church can reach them and keep them in prayer. New members who decide "this is my church" during the fast are prayed over: whatever runs in the prophetic DNA of the ministry, let it run in their lives. Visitors from outside Nigeria, especially those who came for the mid-year fast, are called out and told they will go back with a major testimony.

Testimonies played / recapped

• Mr and Mrs Idu (oil and gas, then distribution). Loan and litigation from about 2012/2013 through a high-court judgment that was not in his favour; appeal; a friend from oil and gas pointed him to NSPPD. He came by night bus, slept at the terminal, was first at the door around 5 a.m., laid the judgment on the altar after a three-day retreat and vowed he would return by flight with his wife. Wife dreamed Papa came to her shop. 30 July altar: "miraculous debt cancellation" three times. They entered 6-to-6 prayer from October. 1 January he said the matter would not see the end of first quarter. Bank accepted a proposal within 24 hours (about 27 March) requiring 75% of the judgment sum by close of business 31 March; help showed up before noon and 75% was paid. On 13 April, a Monday after NSPPD, the rest was wiped out. The unfavourable appeal judgment came after the debt was already cleared and "did not hold water." Three properties (home, wife's business, oil-and-gas office) were preserved. They wore celebration clothes sewn and labelled since about 2003. "Don't give up. 13 years, 2013 to 2026, El Roi wiped it away."
• Woman from Lagos (breast). Bloody discharge while neither pregnant nor breastfeeding; hormonal-imbalance drugs for six months; woke in a pool of blood; drain of the left breast at Greenville; eight months of dressings that would not heal; referred to FMC and then a Tongi hospital; a doctor wanted the breast cut off. She played "Nothing will go wrong" and "Oh Lord, show me mercy" on loop. During a confirmatory test Papa was praying "Those you gave breast cancer, leave them alone." 17 April, nine hours in theatre on both breasts, calling El Roi until the chief surgeon asked who El Roi was. Tumour taken; three weeks later, cancer-free; 12 April (as spoken) a clean bill of health. Dream: Papa took bread from her hand and gave her a white handkerchief. She came "like that one leper."
• Romel, Liberia (training in Abuja, posting to Senegal). At the Liberia stadium crusade in heavy rain he asked God for promotion and travelling mercy; left a toxic workplace; applied to Echo Wise about a year earlier; April email and WhatsApp interview; Papa that morning: "manifest anything you want." Full-time offer, deployed to Senegal, in Abuja for orientation, came to testify.
• Hope, Abuja. Lost her mother 6 August 2016, lost faith, insomnia, seeing her late mother, clubbing, shisha, drink; taken toward the Ooni's circle and given things she threw away. Closest sister (shared birthday 19 August) died 11 November 2021 in her arms; a Kaduna "prophet" said she was next, demanded 10 yards of white wrapper and a ram whose blood he used as "communion." Father died 10 November 2022. A friend forced Pastor Jerry onto her phone. On 9 November 2023 (two years after her sister) she joined NSPPD and heard the word about seeing and eating with the dead: that night she slept like a baby. 14 November, word over a family that loses someone every November: from 2023 to this Sunday, no death. Helpers recovered; chronic ulcer that used to fold her hands and legs broken in the 2024 21-day fast; she gave her life to Christ, left clubbing, completed discipleship.

Words of knowledge / healing declarations

• Organ failure reversed.
• A young man: you will not die the way your mother died.

• Idle, lying, self-cursing words (including old "I have heart problem" style lies): cancelled over you, your family and your children.
• Bitterness toward bosses, spouses, children, exes, church, self, even God: rolled out / yanked off before the 14-day fast.
• Someone: major congratulations before 10:00 a.m. tomorrow.
• First evidence of the fast: favour, harvest, turnaround; "let Him use you as number one."

1. Harvest is now, and it is more than one thing. Israel expected not one harvest a year but three major ones plus smaller ones. "Not one harvest." Family, finance, healing, deliverance, rising, access, joy, laughter, alignment: refuse a year that ends the way it started, and refuse harvest in only one area.
2. Harvest in the Bible is responsibility, becoming, and manifestation. Souls first: ripe hearts decay if no one plucks them; the kingdom is looking for labourers, not executives. Then what you sow to (flesh or Spirit). Then material increase, which you must not apologise for. "It is only witches and wizards that make you feel bad for the blessing of God upon your life."
3. Get the need off your knees. The Shunammite's knees were for bowing, not for carrying a crisis they could not solve. The devil piles needs on prayer until you are too anxious, too discouraged and too heavy to kneel. Put the need beside you and put the knees down.
4. Do not let a lad carry a lad. When the devil wants to obstruct harvest he brings someone as weak, unread, prayerless and easily laughed off the fast as you are. Five years, ten years, and nobody is growing. Relationships where both people have lost their north will not go anywhere. This is a decision, not a prayer point.
5. Your mouth, eyes and hands are not normal. Elisha's body emitted life. Do not see everything, do not say everything, do not put your hands in everything. Tongues keep the power from being neutralised. "Don't destroy with your tongue what you prayed about." The devil cannot finish the destruction until you say it.
6. They will try to bind your sheaf. Joseph's harvest stood up while they were tying bundles. Harvest determines who is in charge; evidence will make a generation bow; hate does not cancel harvest. "Allow your harvest to speak. Don't explain God. Let the works of God in your life explain Himself."
7. Do not say there are yet four months. The calendar can be right and still be late. Lift up your eyes: what is closest to you does not look like what He said. Two charges for a person whose harvest is now: watch what you say, watch what you see.
8. Not everything that grows is your harvest. Weeds grow in the gaps you leave unplanted. Tares look like wheat, are sown at night, attack root then fruit, and their seed is bitter. Sleep is unawareness of your season. Whatever attacks the root (prayer, conviction, the word) is after the fruit. Bitterness will spoil the 14-day journey. Anything that looks like blessing but found expression in darkness is not your harvest. Let both grow: the presence of tares cannot stop the wheat. Ask for latter rain so what has grown actually fruits. One good seed can cover the seeds that never germinated. Get your sickle; the most critical hour is harvest, not sowing. Anchor to a professional harvester; the reapers are angels.
