THE GATE KEEPERS - TAKE CHARGE, YOU ARE IN CHARGE

Streams of Joy Abuja on Father's Day / Men's Day, mid-year, in the last full week before the NSPPD global media fast (29 June to 12 July). Pastor Jerry frames the congregation as gatekeepers, not spectators: "I am a gatekeeper. I take charge. I am in charge." The week is spoken into day by day. Altar prayer lifts Psalm 24 over every locked gate, breaks bloodline patterns and repeated battles, and announces that between June and July "it will be called easy." Men are prayed over as priests of their houses: DNA purified, no premature death, no transfer of negativity, "you will not have a better yesterday."

The teaching is one charge preached four ways. 1 Samuel 30 (Ziglag): David and his men left the city, the Amalekites burned it and took the women and children; "without fail recover all." Ziglag was a gift from the Philistines, not the will of God, so God could burn what was never in the agenda. Gatekeepers do not leave the gate unmanned; a man is priest over his family even if his wife is more prayerful; raise warrior children so the house is not only safe when you are physically there. 1 Samuel 25 (Nabal and Abigail): Nabal means foolish, and the tragedy is not the label but living it out. Abigail calls him a man of Belial, lawless and undisciplined. Be a man of principle even if it offends people; make a Job-style covenant with your eyes; get communication right; do not live as a son of Belial. Luke 16 (Lazarus at the rich man's gate): do not beg at the gate of your destiny. If you do not eat the word and prayer, you become food for the dogs. Lazarus's desire was at the table inside, but the gate locked him out; "you can get wounded, but don't stay wounded." Genesis 3:7 (Adam): seven destiny tests every man must conquer: the word, association, the tongue, passivity, discernment, penitence ("I am sorry"), and fellowship. God never stopped coming; Adam stopped receiving him.

Ministry ran through all four services: repeated-battle altar calls, male-lineage prayers, words of knowledge, a mantle of visibility, and "dry bones will live again." Testimonies matched the theme: visas and jobs restored, an EFCC case dismissed, fibroids and endometriosis gone, 15-year hypertension reversed, a child's sight restored without transplant, a London mother's children returned in 48 hours, a first-class degree at 61.

He closes the week as foundation for the mid-year fast: watch Monday real time, bring the mantle and a prophetic list, and next Sunday is communion under "The harvest is now, step in, carry them." On Father's Day he asks every person to call or message an earthly or spiritual father before the day ends.

Testimonies played / recapped

• Mrs Sylvia Ozando / Oroy (Lagos, first time on the altar). Married 2023; husband got a Canadian study visa while she was pregnant. Immigration law changed; she could not join him until he graduated and got a Canadian job. He graduated with distinction in April, then a last-stage job rejection on 7 August. She joined NSPPD on the 8th; Pastor Jerry said "you got a rejection yesterday, it is reversed." In October she got a job at a company she wanted, at double her previous (dollar) pay. In December her husband was offered a job on the spot. They applied for the visa in March; she received it in three weeks. Reintroduced herself: "the lady that the Lord has shown mercy."
• Maryan / Marian Emmanuel (came from Enugu). 2024 rice-cultivation business collapsed; other people's money was involved; EFCC and others dragged her; she nearly took her life. God told her husband her first intention was pure and that this was not the end. August dream: Pastor Jerry laid hands three times, put three crowns on her head, gave her shoes and said run. Restoration from August; by 1 December financial floodgates; EFCC dismissed the case (officer told her to take the matter up because she had the evidence). 23 May: fed about 25,000 people at a stadium from one income stream, free medical outreach; a new company used to restore over 15,000 testimonies. Sleeps like a baby; walks with her shoulder high.
• Rosemont (healing). January abdominal-pelvic scan: about four growths, conclusion uterine myoma. She printed the result, dropped it on the NSPPD altar, and went on with life. Two weeks before the service, severe stomach pain; same radiologist, same facility: "no abnormalities seen." A specialist repeated the scan: still nothing, and the pain vanished. Between Wednesday and Saturday of that week. On Sunday she knelt and prayed the "O" prayer (you will not receive my body). On Monday a truck smashed into her car; she walked out with no scratch. "He sees to heal, he sees to preserve, he sees to protect."
• Baba Jaguk (Baba G). Fifteen years of hypertension, later stage four. Drugs did not bring the numbers down; colleagues said he should be on admission. Last week, after "Oh Lord show me mercy" and a stage-four cancer testimony, he prayed; around noon his BP was low and below for the first time in his life. Shouted Elroi in the office.
• Scholar. From 2019, severe right-side period pain, staining if she sat under an hour; diagnosed endometriosis on three scans. Surgery would not be permanent; hormonal drugs stopped her period and added weight. Relocated to Abuja, became consistent on the altar late last year; asked God that her husband would follow her to Streams of Joy without objection, and he did. After the January fast, periods normalised February through April. Repeat scan: "who diagnosed you of endometriosis? There's nothing like that." Five years reversed. Peace "all around" since joining.
• A woman (announced with Dr. Ch and Shonai). Yesterday, after washing the car, children (about 5 and 9) got in; an automatic car with the handbrake up rolled, hit the gate, hit a pregnant woman, and ran into another compound. She knelt and declared nothing missing, nothing broken. The woman was discharged minutes later; children unhurt; the car unhurt. Neighbouring houses had similar incidents the week before. She took charge of the environment and took the pregnant woman as a prayer point for safe delivery.
• Sharon. First: her mum, kidney enlargement early last year. She asked for the report to bring to church; in a Sunday service Pastor Jerry said "your mother is healed." Next appointment: kidney normal. Second: stepbrother Mua, swollen right eye, corneal ulcer at FMC Jabi. Healed with multiple scars; vision lost; transplant scheduled. In December 2025 and January she clipped Pastor Jerry saying "cornea transplant be reversed." In May the boy could see, no medication, no surgery. He closed the other eye in church and counted five fingers.
• Favor Azetta (came from London). (1) Last child, born 2022, blood too low; they played "Oh Lord show me mercy"; a nurse ran after them: blood now normal, discharged. (2) 5 May 2023: four children turned against her; one said another woman was her mother. Pastor Jerry: a woman with four children against her, 48 hours they will return. The daughter came back within minutes, packed her load, and the other woman became her enemy. (3) UK government stopped her work for health; she returned to university; a lecturer mocked her first-class ambition; last week's result: first class, age 61 (62 in December).
• Isogu Destiny / Destiny Eberry (works in the church PQC department; night manager in Abuja hospitality). Wife dreamed accusation, conspiracy and prison. Guests, a superior, a fraud query; at the panel the accuser was told to resign immediately. Then a suspension that stretched from one month toward four. He drove taxi; a car ran into him on a busy road the same day as the "O" prayer; God shifted people, he was saved. Legs later swelled; he and his wife kept looking to God. Words of knowledge / healing declarations

• Ovarian cancer: reversed.
• Twelve years of the enemy trying to break a marriage: reversed.

1. You are a gatekeeper, not a spectator. In Bible culture, economy, security, elders' decisions, watchmen and invasion all sat at the gate. Gates are institutions and territorial spirits; they have heads, so they can hear. Do not only ask for an open door (self); take the gate, because many lives are tied to one gate.

2. The gates of hell will try; they will not prevail. Prophecy is a rattling in darkness. A locked gate means an everlasting locked door. Access is by revelation.

3. Do not leave the gate. Ziglag burned because the warriors were gone. You are a spirit being: you can leave the house and still be there by prayer. Raise wife and children as warriors so the house is not only safe when you are present. Never fight Israel, never fight the kingdom, never fight anything with God's signature. God can use an Amalekite against you and still come for the Amalekite.

4. Ziglag is not the throne. David was still running from Saul; settling in an enemy-given city would miss the crown. Let God burn whatever is not his will: wrong roads, associations, pretence, flesh, familiar weaknesses (Amalek was family, grandson of Esau).

5. Do not live the foolish name. Nabal means foolish; the crisis is living the label. Destiny is for scattering labels. Belial means lawless, worthless, undisciplined. A man of principle will offend people. Job made a covenant with his eyes. Wrong communication is how the devil gains an inroad; if the conversation is not important in destiny, let it go.

6. Do not beg at the gate, and do not bleed at the gate. Lazarus desired crumbs from the table inside while his body stayed outside. If you do not eat the word, you become food for dogs, depression, anxiety, lust and delay. Wounds invite dogs. You can get wounded; do not stay wounded. Healing is a choice. Flesh over a wound that still hurts when pressed is not healing.

7. Seven tests of a gatekeeper (Adam). Test of the word (Did God say?). Test of association (who walks in). Test of the tongue (bless, do not curse your seed, even in the heart). Test of passivity (Adam was with Eve and did nothing; Eli rebuked lazily). Test of discernment (the serpent he had named came back on a different mission). Test of penitence (neither Adam nor Eve said sorry; if Eden had "I am sorry," we would not be breaking these curses). Test of fellowship (God still came in the evening; Adam hid). "He didn't leave. You were the one that walked away."

8. Men matter on Men's Day. Being a man is not a day's job. Talk to someone; if no one is safe, talk to Jesus. Toxic "men don't cry" is why there are more widows than widowers. A kingdom father is present, listens, disciplines with love, apologizes, and builds legacy. Fatherhood is not validated by children; it is validated by God's assignment. One committed father can change a generation.

• Men: take your priestly place. Bless your children. Do not be at ease in Zion. Do not be a son of Belial. Block compromising numbers. Talk to Jesus if you cannot talk to a brother.
• Eat the word and dwell in prayer so you do not become food. Choose healing; stop rehearsing the wound to everyone you meet.
• Mark 21 June. Ask God for the one thing that would make the second half of the year feel fulfilling (third service); in an earlier service he also had them ask for three things with the offering.
• Before this Father's Day ends: call or message an earthly father, or a spiritual / career father. If you cannot send a gift, thank them and ask them to pray for you. Look a man beside you in the eye and say "I love you."
