THE EXPLOITS OF A SENT MAN - PART 4

This Thursday Word & Fire service is Part 4 of The Exploits of a Sent Man. Worship opens on "Lord, I worship you because of who you are", then Jehovah as mighty warrior, healer, sustainer and provider. The house is called an encounter altar: "Oh God, walk in me in this service, to will and to do" (Philippians 2:13), "I will not go until you bless me", and "let it be said that I have been with Jesus" (Acts 4:13). The cry of the night is that a generation is waiting for a sent man and a sent woman who will not fail their family.

The fire-prayer block lands on the last Thursday of May. The remaining three days of the month are decreed as days of mind-blowing, blood-showing results. Hands go up for the mantle of greater exploits (Elisha's "there is more") and for gates and doors of greater exploit that cannot be shut. The house is told to take prophetic steps: "I enter my season of exploit." As May becomes June they step out with new fire, new anointing and new manifestations. Hands go on heads against territorial powers: "Not my head." John the Baptist is the warning picture, from "there was a man sent from God" (John 1:6) to "are you the one, or do we look for another?" (Matthew 11:3). They bounce back, pursue, overtake and recover. Evidence is demanded: Isaac's hundredfold, Peter's notable miracle, "look on us", and power after the Holy Ghost, not tongues as the only proof.

Pastor Jerry then has the house stand and read Acts 27:1-44, Paul's voyage into the Euroclydon. He recaps the series: there is no sent man without a called man; "you were not called to exploit; you were called to Jesus and sent for exploit." Purpose is not your career or your degree. A sent man surrounded by stagnant people will suffer shipwreck. Assignment often sits inside your greatest misery. You are a heavenly being sent to earth, not a human being merely praying toward heaven. The main charge of Part 4 is that Paul's prison, mood, labels and weaknesses did not subtract his mantle. The night's declaration is "I am still a sent man." Perception of disaster is not enough; the journey demands clarity. The ship (plans, relationships, the thing that looked like safety) may scatter, but "with or without the ship I will get there." Paul names God as "whose I am and whom I serve": belonging and service are one compound. Because God had given him all who sailed with him, destinies in your hand (children, siblings, marriage, cities) rise or fall with your faith. The service closes with a wave offering, the announcement block, Psalm 91, and twenty-one neighbours hearing "whose I am and whom I serve."

1. Called to Jesus, sent for exploit. There is no sent man without a called man. The call is not a call to exploits; it is a call to Jesus. Sending for exploit comes after you have been with him. Every day is a continuum: called to Jesus, sent to do exploit. Capacity for exploit is proportional to the battles you will face; uncommon battles signal uncommon grace.
2. Purpose is not career. Manifestation requires assignment, and assignment is wrapped in the purpose for which God sent you to earth. Career and what you studied are not automatically that purpose. Physical success can still be a failed exam in heaven.
3. A sent man must move. "Sent" means motion. If everyone around you is stagnant, the mission can suffer shipwreck. If you have to drag people every season, you have outgrown them; keep pulling and you will become like them. There must be something bigger than physical gratification that moves you. When the seventy came back excited that demons were subject to them, Jesus said the real joy is that your names are written in heaven.
4. Your assignment is often in your greatest misery. The thing that caused you so much pain may be what God raised you to solve. Misery is preparation for ministry, and ministry here is not a microphone; it is being an ambassador for Jesus in the marketplace and wherever you are. This generation wants proof that you have been there, not more talk.
5. You are a heavenly being sent to earth. You do not stumble into assignment. You already agreed with God in a board meeting. Wander for thirty or forty years and you can spend a life chasing what was never God's idea.
6. You were sent with company. Jesus sent them two by two. There is an encourager, an inspirer, someone whose wisdom cross-fertilises yours without polluting your spirit; iron sharpens iron. Pray that your path and theirs connect.
7. Prison did not cancel the mantle. Paul was a condemned prisoner on the way to Caesar when the Euroclydon hit. He still perceived, still hosted an angel, still fed the ship, still held 276 lives. Mood, affliction, labels and weakness never took the mantle. "I am still a sent man." The gifts and calling of God are without repentance. The word is still in your mouth.
8. Do not stop at perception; the journey demands clarity. Paul first perceived disaster for ship and lives. Perception is one way believers hear, but the network is not always clear. The angel then said: the ship will scatter; no life will be lost. Ten years from now you will be grateful that no one did your destiny for you.
9. The ship may scatter and you will still get there. What looked like security (plans, relationships, trusted people) can break so that God, not the vessel, gets the glory. Release the thing you are patching. There will be no loss of life, destiny or future. Help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth.
10. "Whose I am and whom I serve" is one compound. Belonging produces service. You are not "doing church"; serving God is factory fitted. You no longer fit the old life. You belong with your entire life, not with lips or a show of religion. You are a living sacrifice already on the altar. Stop explaining the fasting, the night praying and the passion. Hand to the plough, no looking back. Because he does not fail his word, a sent man can declare it even from a wreck.
11. Other people's lives are in your hands. "God hath given thee all them that sail with thee." Children, siblings, a marriage, a city, an assignment: if you lose faith, it is not only you who fails. You cannot live only for what makes you happy. This season can feel like labour: bleeding, pain, a new life coming that you do not yet understand. You are the light. Keep them.

• Pray in the Holy Ghost; turn the engine on; insist that no power will deviate you from the script written of you.
• Decree the remaining days of May as days of exploit; call for the mantle of greater exploits; command gates and doors of greater exploit to open; take prophetic steps: "I enter my season of exploit."
• Put your hand on your head: "Not my head." Call your name and thunder "bounce back." Ask for proof, substance and notable evidence, not tongues alone.
• Walk up to seven neighbours and shout in their ear: "Nothing missing, nothing broken."

• Walk up to 21 persons and scream in their ear: "Whose I am and whom I serve."
• Honour God with offering, tithe and partnership as a wave offering.
• Pick up a testimony form at the inquiry desk and submit it before Sunday.
