THE WAIT IS OVER

The last Sunday of April 2026 at Streams of Joy Abuja, four services under the cry "The wait is over." Pastor Jerry opened with worship and a long altar prayer against demonic waiting, delay, garments of delay, and powers that say you will wait, pray or cry in vain. He announced timers (21 days, 15 days, 6 days, 2 days, the next hour) and sent people to the altar or to their screens. The week ahead is the week April becomes May: a transition week on the fire altar, framed as And the Most High showed up and crossover to the other side, and also as a global crusade week.

Service 1 read 1 Samuel 1:1-20 (Hannah, Peninnah, Eli). The sermon's hinge was Eli's word "Go in peace." Delay tries to put a hole in the soul; shalom means nothing missing and nothing broken. Peninnah is distraction (do not pray from the issue to God, pray from God to the issue). Elkanah is the voice that says "it is not that bad." Samuel did not come by prayer but by continuous prayer, and Hannah's vow was a change of mindset: the child is about God, not about proving a point.

Service 2 read John 5:1-9 (the man at Bethesda, 38 years). Two parallels: man versus God ("I have no man" versus "I am here"), and healing versus wholeness. It is not about the pool, it is about Jesus. When God ends a wait he comes with no protocol. "You are not like them." Then: rise, take up your bed, and walk.

Service 3 read Genesis 18:1-15. Three men were on their way to Sodom, not to Abraham; 99-year-old Abraham ran, honoured them, and hijacked the move. Kairos can be God-ordained or hunger-created. Honour unlocks what prophecy had already said. Sarah judged him faithful by his antecedents. Communion word: "Your journey will not stop on the way."

Service 4 read Mark 2:1-12 (the paralytic and four friends). Breakthrough is a man; delay is a man. Jesus saw their faith, not the sick man's. Spiritual paralysis makes you vulnerable to whoever will carry you. Be the friend who carries someone to Jesus. Communion of suddenly. He also noted that Streams of Joy Enugu opened this Sunday and immediately had to run multiple services.

Communion

• First service: "I'm preserving your tomorrow." No shame, pain or limitation in tomorrow; tomorrow begins now. Flesh and blood of Jesus; a new season begins.
• Second service: as April becomes May, name one thing you desire. The sick healed, demonic yokes broken, the barren carry babies, a rain of favour. "It is not about the pool, it is about Jesus."
• Third service: "Your journey will not stop on the way" (he said it might not be for everyone). No premature death; career, business and family journeys will not stop midway.
• Fourth service: a communion of suddenly. "Let your sudden works locate my life."

Testimonies played / recapped

• Titilayo Eme (or Titilayo Omona in the intro) - after last week's 10-minute dance and all-night OS prayer, a Friday night crash near Galadimawa after Games Village: the car somersaulted onto its roof. All three occupants walked out; hospital checkup Saturday: nothing missing, nothing broken.
• Neka Wondu (One Neka Wondu / Wondo Waneka) - rice miller from Taraba (Anambra Igbo). A Port Harcourt customer took rice on credit (~8 million naira); she was blamed as surety, a court order came, she fled Wukari to Jalingo with only her phone. The woman was later caught. Restarted in Jalingo from 2,000 naira, leased land, built and roofed a mill in about six weeks after an 800,000 naira alert on a 1.2 million job. Later a trailer-and-a-half job announced her; a sister opened a company for her to produce under. In Abuja for a China visa to buy larger rice machines; also opened a shop/factory in Jalingo.
• Anita Innocent - son Larry diagnosed with intussusception (caption: interception). On Wednesday Pastor Jerry mentioned "intussusception, be reversed" (caption: "revised intense tie"). Surgical team took the boy; within minutes they called her in: they could not see what had been diagnosed. Surgery cancelled.
• A woman (gas / fire preservation) - cousin left the kitchen gas on from about 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. after lighting something; the house was preserved. She had keyed into "nothing missing, nothing broken" from Pastor Jerry's Facebook. (She also spoke of a desolate woman having four children; captions are noisy on that thread.)
• Fred - father assassinated in Abuja 2007; mother died of a failed brain tumour 2016; siblings scattered, he left church. Found Streams of Joy via a friend, came the last Friday of November 2024, was anointed, became a member the next Sunday in December, rededicated, finished discipleship in March. Bank funds stolen from a parental account were refunded with compensation by October 2025. Parental benefits paid 11:14-11:15 a.m. the same day Papa said "before 6 p.m. you will see the evidence" (last week of January). 3,000 square metres in a high-brow Abuja area restored from land grabbers; documentation completed the previous week. Siblings reconciled.
• Emeka Maduafokwa - joined the altar March 2022. Healed of diabetes; a word on pain under the left foot reversed a swagger-walk that needed Diclofenac (caption: Delvac). 4 April 2023: collapsed pelvic muscle sprang up at a word; same week his wife's urinary incontinence of 1-2 months reversed. US visa withheld 14 months after approval 10 March 2023; on a settlement-week Monday (6 May) at 2:36 p.m. the embassy emailed him to bring the passport; five-year visa issued. Preserved in a high-speed crash; an assassin's gun "changed" as he cried "Arroi" in a Lagos vehicle; the man was later held with the gun. He said the testimonies from this altar sound like lies except that Christ is here.
• Unnamed woman (ovarian cancer / family cancer pattern) - mother: breast cancer 2015, India, recurrence 2019 to liver and lungs, told five months to live, died that December. Father later died of cancer (adenocarcinoma, then lymphoma). She had 69 fibroids, 9 litres of fluid and a soft-tissue mass; pathology flipped from adenocarcinoma to gallbladder cancer to ovarian cancer. Refused chemo at first, then did cycles while on the altar; keyed into "ascites, be reversed" and a word about fibroid surgery being called cancer. Tumour marker from 8,000 down to 1,000, then 16%. Reluctantly finished cycles; scheduled for total hysterectomy; a Muslim doctor told her to go to "what God cannot do does not exist." After surgery, no cancer cells on two pathology opinions. Family cancer pattern declared broken in her.
• A woman from Port Harcourt / UK (60s) - nephew kidnapped after helping on a land; caretaker who plotted it was exposed (she had even given him money for two thanksgiving pianos). Professional job in her 60s released after "receive your job"; flexible leave. Hypothyroidism migrated toward Graves' disease (bulging eyes); consultant wanted throat surgery; she keyed into hypothyroidism and Graves healing, took communion on eyes and throat; latest bloods came back clear. Looks younger; brought an envelope of thanks with friends.
• Favor - 11 December at work, sudden whole-body sensation, could not open a button, urinated on her clothes; next day lifeless, could not move hand or leg, could not bathe or eat. Doctor called it numbness that leads to paralysis. BP spiked on drugs (200/130). Fasted January against advice; stopped medication in the second week of the fast after "take your healing, clean bill of health." Voice returned in the second week of 28 Days of Wonders; now on heels. Pastor Jerry later publicly rejected her line that she has "the blood of Pastor Jerry" because they share Abia State: the only blood believers need is the blood of Jesus.
• Unnamed sister (pregnancy / empty sack) - pregnant October 2024; birthday 15 October scan showed an empty sack at about 8 weeks; told to wait for bleeding or return in two weeks for evacuation. Remembered a 2021 wedding word ("those saying no to your celebration will not attend"). After four days of consistent NSPPD she was told to rescan: baby with a heartbeat. (The caption continues into further pregnancy detail; the on-stage recap centres on that reversal.)

Words of knowledge / healing declarations

• Every wait and delay that stole years, shut doors, or made effort look like nothing: broken. "The wait is over."

• "No matter who leaves your life, you will still get there"; in 14 days, let there be a performance.
• Hidden battles you did not even know were raised: the Lord begins to fight them.
• Gates of cancer, affliction, running in circles, curses, lack of favour: lift up your heads.
• Service 2 communion: as the sick partake, healing; as the oppressed partake, yokes broken; as the barren partake, they carry babies; rain of favour.

1. The wait is over, including demonic waiting. Some delay is an ordinance from the pit; it is not God's character to delay. Curse fortified delay. You may not see wind or rain, but the valley is already full of water.
2. "Go in peace" is a mentality before it is a feeling. Eli did not sit in Hannah's grief. Shalom is nothing missing and nothing broken. Delay tries to put a hole in the soul. A broken man cannot access a new season. Feelings do not get to cancel faith (John the Baptist asked "are you still the one?" and they took his head).
3. Do not pray from the issue to God; pray from God to the issue. Peninnah's job is to make you fret and stare at her instead of at God. When attack intensifies, a change of season is near. Shake off the atmosphere the devil wants, because an angel cannot enter it. Peninnahs can be demons, systems, structures or people; they are not your issue.
4. Refuse Elkanah's "worthy portion." The voice that says "it is not that bad, be content" offers what you will consume and pass out. Hannah wanted destiny, not temporary comfort. Break out of the level that is not your story's end.
5. Samuel comes by continuous prayer, not by a casual prayer life. Petition, supplication, thanksgiving, warfare, mercy, scripture, the pastor's word, your rhema: then start again. Hannah's uncoordinated prayer looked drunk. Drop composure. Jesus still intercedes; do not sleep through what he is praying.
6. The vow was a change of mindset. Hannah moved from "give me a child" to "this child is about you." Waiting can stay stuck while the prayer is still about you: proving them wrong, the car, the marriage as a clap-back. Give it back to God. Watch Peninnah inside the house: fear, panic, "your child will die," "they will not open the door."
7. Let Peninnah drive you to God, not away from God. Do not let attack produce "he does not hear me."
8. Man versus God, pool versus Jesus, healing versus wholeness. "I have no man" is the wrong answer to "wilt thou be made whole?" Wholeness is destiny, not only the present symptom: old lies, office conspiracy, seven-year-old wounds, perception, the mistake that brought you here. It is not about the pool, the process, who you know, or how stubborn the report is. When he ends a wait he uses no protocol. Keep talking with him while others stare at the water.
9. You are not like them. A multitude lay at Bethesda; Jesus faced one man. Family sickness, industry losses, "everybody fails here": you are not like them. God interrupts even your own plans (block the number) because you are a chosen generation.
10. Rise, take up the bed, and walk. Some have risen and stayed. If you stay, you go down.
11. Hijack the move. The three men were going to Sodom. Abraham ran at 99. Static people will not connect. Kairos can be hunger-created (the woman with the issue of blood was not on the schedule; Jairus was). Honour a superior grace: Abraham stood while they ate. Discernment activates a prophecy already spoken. Sarah judged him faithful by antecedents, not by a womb that still looked finished.
12. Breakthrough is a man; delay is a man. Four friends carried a man who never spoke and, in this telling, did not even have the faith Jesus saw. God will send people who may not be the answer but point to it. If you stay spiritually paralysed, someone else will carry you, and they might carry you to a shrine. Tiredness is how the devil walks you into depression, bitterness, unforgiveness, panic, anxiety. Be the friend who still believes the best of a paralysed person.
13. Give God the glory. He publicly refused a testifier's "I have the blood of Pastor Jerry." The only blood believers need is the blood of Jesus.

• Declare out loud, repeatedly: "The wait is over." Walk up to neighbours (7, 10, 14) and scream it; keep shouting it as you return to your seat.
• Come out to the altar, or lay your hand on your device / run to the overflow screen, against demonic waiting.
• Tell a neighbour: go in peace; he is still God; it is not about Peninnah; "are you an Elkanah? I break out"; "if you are expecting Samuel, stop this casual prayer life"; "you are not like them"; "run"; "rise, walk."
• Pray all kinds of prayer until Samuel comes. Uproot every inner Peninnah.
• Take communion under the word given in your service (tomorrow preserved; April-to-May desire; journey will not stop; suddenly).
