I AM ANOINTED FOR THIS - PART 8

This is the Thursday-evening Word & Fire service, Part 8 of I Am Anointed for This. Worship ran long ("I'm lost without you", "I want more of you, Jesus", "You never leave me", "I come before you", "Be glorified", "We lift you high") before the house was told to pray in the Spirit until destinies are altered and until a person becomes another man. The opening cry was for God to speak in a language they would understand, for angels to appear, for the face of God, and for anointing for exploits. Moses, Elijah and Elisha were named as men God empowered; Moses' plea that God's presence go with him was prayed as "let every sleeping giant in me wake up tonight."

Fire prayer then pressed the day's language: "I am anointed for more" and "I am anointed for this." From 1 Corinthians 2:9 the house was told they had already pressed for the "more" they could imagine; tonight they were to run, by the Spirit, into the more eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, and minds have not conceived. The Holy Ghost was named the transport system into that more. Prayers went against emptiness (nobles sending children to a dry pit), against missing the season of exploit (Ananias answering "Here I am"), against a Samson-style end mixed with bitter tears, against Delilah, Jezebel and Eliab, against the rope that ties a donkey at an intersection, and for extra oil so they would not leave as foolish virgins. The congregation was declared the Jesus season of family, industry, nation and generation: "You are the channel with which God will reach your family." The prophetic chant that closed the fire block was, "You are anointed for this."

Pastor Jerry then had the house stand and read Exodus 1:15-21, Shiphrah and Puah, the Hebrew midwives who refused Pharaoh's order to kill the male children. He titled the word Spiritual midwives wanted: in destiny you are pregnant, you have delivered, or you are helping someone deliver, and often all three at once. A Hebrew woman must find a Hebrew midwife; "find your tribe." Pharaoh targeted the males because they were seed carriers; a generation that is pro-harvest but not pro-seed will pray for a harvest that never comes. The midwives feared God more than Pharaoh, would not let the devil use their skill to kill, covered women so they walked out with joy without knowing the battle, and because they honoured God he gave them families of their own. "If you don't kill it, God will give it to you."

Offerings, tithes and partnership were lifted as a wave offering. Tomorrow is the grand finale of God of Wonders, God of Perfection; Sunday is communion under the theme The wait is over. The close was Psalm 91:1-2, fourteen people told "I am a spiritual midwife," and the song "We are a chosen generation… I know who I am."

1. You are anointed for a more you have not imagined. The "more" you have been pressing for is real, but 1 Corinthians 2:9 names another dimension: what eyes have not seen and ears have not heard. The Holy Ghost is the transport into that more. Mediocrity, smallness, the cave, sickness, dryness and emptiness are not the portion of an anointed life.
2. A generation is waiting; do not offer them empty vessels. Jeremiah 14:3 is the warning: nobles sent children to water and they came back empty and ashamed. Creation is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. Stay awake like Ananias. Do not let the exploit season end like Samson, mixed with bitter tears.
3. You are the Jesus season of someone else. Christ in you is the hope of glory. After this service, wherever you show up you exchange pain and shame for joy, celebration and back-to-back good news. God is looking for a man or woman to stand in the gap; occupy so the Lord can pass through you to reach the home.
4. In destiny you are pregnant, delivered, or midwifing, often all three. You can have delivered and be pregnant again; you can still be carrying your own and helping another deliver. The hardest thing is to walk destiny without a midwife. When pain becomes more regular, delivery is near; do not go home at 7 cm or 10 cm dilated. Some must also midwife their own dream so hell does not kill it.
5. Find your tribe. Hebrew women went to Hebrew midwives. If they had gone to Egyptian midwives, the babies would already be dead. Covenant is the bond: even if I do not like the face of your child, I will not kill it. Never let someone who does not understand your covenant, your prophecy or the greatness inside you deliver your baby.
6. Pharaoh is after the seed, not the harvest. He targeted the males because they were seed carriers. Kill the seed and you keep a people dreaming of a harvest that will never come. Laziness, distraction, leaving the place God put you, relationships that inch toward you to destroy, praying in a dream until 7 a.m. instead of actually praying: those are seed attacks. Ask, "Where is the seed of the harvest?" Diligence, creativity, revelation and prayer must be on the ground.
7. A good seed can still die in a wrong season or a wrong environment. Planting in harmattan is a good seed in the wrong season. An apple tree will not thrive in the wrong climate. Circle, words and friends who do not follow Jesus can keep a ripe seed from growing even when they are "nice."
8. Don't kill your own. The Hebrew midwives said, we do not kill our own. Do not kill the family, career or vision God gave you to raise, including by laying a career on lies. Do not kill a fellow believer with slander or wickedness. When Jesus called Peter Satan he was addressing the spirit, not destroying Peter. Look for your own that is trying to die and bring them back to life.
9. Stand in your office between Pharaoh and the fear of God. Pharaoh will pull you; the fear of God says do not. The oil is so that in the territory you man, you draw a boundary: negativity will not share this family, this business, this office. Be skillful enough that Pharaoh has to negotiate with you, then refuse to let the devil use the skill, beauty or communication God gave you to kill what you were anointed to deliver.
10. Heaven is looking for covering midwives. Intercessors detonate battles in the Spirit so a woman can walk in and walk out with joy and never know Pharaoh wanted the child dead. You do not need to announce the plot; you already covered. In the secret place you tell the devil, this far and no further.
11. Action preserves a generation. Shiphrah and Puah's action let the people multiply and wax mighty; their inaction would have destroyed a generation. Do not sit at ease when heaven expects you to act. Their excuse that the Hebrew women were "lively" and delivered before the midwife arrived is also a possibility: before the killer arrives, it has already happened. Arroi can put on the inside what you thought you still needed from the outside, so you deliver yourself.
12. If you do not kill it, God will give it to you. Because the midwives honoured God, he gave them families of their own. Do not criticise, envy or speak death over the blessing you desire. Never bring bitterness into a family God wants to give you as your own. Honour God, not merely the people you are covering.

• Fire against Delilah, Jezebel, Eliab, the rope that ties you down, and every power that would mix your exploit season with tears. Ask for extra oil; refuse to leave as a foolish virgin.
• Tell your neighbour: "You are anointed for this," "Where is the seed of the harvest?", "Don't choke with your seed," "Don't kill your own," "You are the midwife God is looking for," "Pharaoh will not prevail," "I am a spiritual midwife."
• Walk up to seven neighbours and shout in their ear, "You are anointed for this" (later fourteen persons: "I am a spiritual midwife").
• Guard your seed: prayer, diligence, hard work, the right season and the right environment. Ask what a strange relationship has come to destroy.
• Arise as a spiritual midwife in your office: negativity is not allowed; I will not kill my seed; I will challenge Pharaoh's word; new things will not die in my hands; I will cover others and fight their battles; the devil will not use my mind, wisdom, intellect or creativity; the devil will not have the last word.
• Bring offering, tithe and partnership as a wave offering.
• Share with a neighbour what blessed you tonight.
• Close with Psalm 91:1-2: "I am dwelling in the secret place of the most High… in him will I trust."
