I AM ANOINTED FOR THIS - PART 6

Thursday Word & Fire opens with a long worship set (blessing, honour and power forever; "Holy are you, Lord God Almighty"; "Worthy is the Lamb"; "Oh glorious God, I lay my crowns"; "Let your worship rise"; "How great is our God"; "He is able"; dancing and prophetic shout). The house is told they have come to the God of all flesh, to the mountain of the living God, to Jesus the firstborn from the dead, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than the blood of Abel. Opening prayer asks for the Spirit without measure, a fresh encounter like Jacob with the angel and Moses on the mountain, and a day of spontaneous miracle, spontaneous testimony, and spontaneous turnaround. The cry of the night is already on the table: "I am anointed for this."

Fire prayer anoints the head with everlasting joy from Isaiah 35 and Isaiah 61: sorrow, bitter tears, rising and falling, and every appointment of ashes, mourning, and heaviness must flee; beauty, oil of joy, and the garment of praise are planted in their place. The house commands mute mouths to burst out in the order of Peter, dead things around them to arise (career, ministry, organs), and smallness, mediocrity, and powers of the father's house to catch fire so the oil can flow to the nations. They refuse to be Saul, whose shield was as though he had not been anointed: divine deposits and encounters will not waste. Remaining days of April are loaded with spontaneous exploits; Goliaths of shame, disease, and locked doors become announcement; they are anointed as deliverers and saviours of their families, like David, Joseph, and Gideon. The anointing swallows protocol and compresses time: what should take years is commanded to happen now, as at Pentecost, when Galileans spoke languages they had never studied.

The Word is 1 Samuel 10, read from verse 1 and verse 22, then 23-25. Last week the house ran with Saul's signs and "do as occasion serves thee." Part 6 of I Am Anointed For This is the bump in the journey of the anointed: anointed in verse 1, hiding in verse 22. Opportunity is already here; the problem is that the anointed is hiding among the stuff. The devil hides a man with yesterday's dossier, with a wrong circle, and with "the people." Saul lost the throne because people became more important than God. The charge is to break out, find your tribe, stop hiding so other people's chains can break, beware of people (even the meeting in your own head), refuse the demonic fragrance of disobedience, remain little in your own eyes, and wipe out Amalek: every leftover negativity, besetting sin, anger, and prayerlessness. Offerings, tithes, and partnership are waved. Tomorrow is the grand finale of Furnace of Answers (fast 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., come with your mantle). Sunday is Rehoboth in four services. The close is Psalm 91, fourteen neighbours told "no more hiding," and "out of my belly shall flow rivers of living water."

1. This night is a love letter from the Most High to his anointed. You are anointed for this; there is no need to be scared or to worry. Eyes have not seen what he is about to do with your life.
2. Saul was poured on in verse 1 and hiding among the stuff in verse 22. The problem is not that God has not created opportunity, platform, or announcement. Opportunity is here; the anointed is hiding. Too loaded, but hiding. The assignment may be marketplace or industry, not a microphone, but hiding still wastes it.
3. When the devil wants to hide a man, he first brings the past: "Have you forgotten what you did? The last thing you tried did not work. You will fail again." Forget what is behind. Every past that stops the fullness of the grace of God on your life is broken.
4. Find your tribe. Not everyone speaks the language of your future; some only speak the language of your past. God pre-set Saul's circle with a band of prophets who did not ask why he was prophesying with them. Iron sharpens iron. When Paul was stoned, the brethren encircled him and he stood up. Wounded anointed people should be encircled, not discussed. What they carry scares the devil; if the fullness comes out it will shake nations.
5. If you keep hiding, some people's chains will not be broken. Your family needs your voice. Two or three years of prayer can sit on the brink of a new season; that is when the devil wants you to hide. You are too anointed to hide. David could not take Goliath even when the soldiers were calm; if something in the family still provokes your spirit, that is the oil.
6. Beware of people. Saul's repeated excuse in 1 Samuel 13 and 15 was "the people." They did not anoint you, so they should not dictate destiny. Ordination was concluded before you showed up before men. Trending news in Nigeria lasts a week or three, then life moves on; do not leave the plan of God because of people. When someone's chapter in your life expires, dragging them along is like taking expired medicine: it becomes poison. If they are not contributing to present purpose or pointing to future destiny, they have expired. You can like them and still not need them. Sometimes "the people" is the meeting in your own head talking you out of destiny.
7. When people become more important than God, than instruction, than fellowship, than destiny, you lose the throne: abandon prayer when they call, forget instruction when they speak, talk nonsense when they chat. Disobedience creates a demonic atmosphere. A believer cannot be possessed, but disobedience opens the door for the enemy to hurt family, career, and health. It is fragrance that attracts bees you do not need. Before more warfare prayer, ask whether any area is living in disobedience. He that breaks the hedge, the serpent bites. 2026 must not end in emptiness; the anointed cannot live in disobedience.
8. Remain little in your own eyes. That is when Saul was made king. The anointer looks for people who will not claim they anointed themselves; he will not share his glory. One miracle, one open door, and a person starts sounding like skill and research did it. Look up and say publicly, "That was God." The race is not to the swift. Pastor Jerry says every day on NSPPD still scares him: heart beating, scriptures written and then unused, strange names in his ear, a plea not to put in his own word. The day you feel you can do Samuel's office yourself, you have left the place of little-in-your-own-sight.
9. The mandate is wipe out Amalek and do not spare Agag: leftover negativity, besetting sin, anger, prayerlessness. Do not remove one vice and keep another. Mortify the deeds of the flesh. Freshness of grace is being poured out; wipe out everything that is not of him.
