I AM ANOINTED FOR THIS - PART 5

Thursday Word & Fire, 2 April 2026, is Part 5 of I Am Anointed For This, the first Thursday of the second quarter. Worship is long: No one can worship you for me, Here's my worship, Lightning and thunder, miracles and wonders, a sacrifice of praise into the house of the Lord, Blessed are thou, son of David, I am your worship, You've been faithful from the ages past, Nna God eh, a clap offering, O God, Sisi Anam, Who is like you, Lord, Jesus, you're the cup that won't run dry, Your presence is heaven to me, and Jesus, you are enough; it is your presence that I want. The house is told David's greatness sat in God's presence, and that presence is the atmosphere for greatness. The cry of the night, shouted to neighbours and through the fire, is "I am anointed for this."

Fire prayer treats April as breakout month. The Perez mantle is received so they break out on every side, in business and family, even if others ran ahead in the first quarter. Isaiah 54 is prayed over the barren and the desolate: enlarge the tent, lengthen the cords, break forth left and right. The Holy Ghost is named Helper; they refuse to be stranded and command divine help to burst out. They will not carry today's assignment on yesterday's oil. They will not be Ephraim, too late to come out when the womb opened. They burn and shine by pure oil on the lampstand, fire that never goes out, a global light that will not stay under a bushel. Pharaohs and Egyptians that keep them where they have outgrown expire; the Egyptian they see today they will see no more. Born of the Spirit they are like the wind: uncontainable. Jonathan and David's mighty men are the picture of a few who break through. Pentecost is the picture of the fearful who, once the anointing came, converted three thousand in a day. They ask God to stretch mind, soul, spirit, and imagination. Decrees land: no more limitation, all doors open, fallow grounds broken, a rain of more, of miracles, evidence, wonders, and transition. "The season you prayed for is finally here." Neighbours are asked what they see in April; as they speak, a book of remembrance is opened.

The Word is 1 Samuel 10:1-7, read standing: Samuel pours a vial of oil on Saul, kisses him, and says the Lord has anointed him captain over his inheritance; two men by Rachel's sepulchre, three men on the way to Bethel with bread and wine, then a company of prophets at the hill of God (the garrison of the Philistines); the Spirit comes, Saul prophesies, and is turned into another man. Verse 7 is read twice: when these signs come, do as occasion serve thee, for God is with thee. Teaching then stacks: the oil is empowerment, not a smear; it preceded the finding of the lost asses, so missing pieces do not cancel the oil. They will tell you, they will give you, you will start doing. Life should play like deja vu once you line up with the script already written. When doors open, do not hide. Join the prophets and become another man. Prophesy at the garrison, not around it. Kingship needs priesthood (prayer) and the prophetic (the word), and the oil is for war: captain means warrior over God's inheritance. First responsibility is the pleasure of the anointer, not the exploits of the anointed. Close: wave offering, Good Friday and Sunday announcements, Psalm 91, and ten people told "God is with thee."

• No more limitation, complaining, or ordinaries. All doors open. Fallow grounds broken. New oil, new grace, new capacity, new evidence. Rain of more, miracles, evidence, wonders, transition. The season you prayed for is finally here. You have broken forth.
• Closing decrees: you are blessed; the hand of the Lord is upon you; grace speaks; fallow grounds broken; all things aligned for your good. Go and do as the occasion serves thee. God is with you.

1. The oil is empowerment, not a smear. Weeks of this series are about heaven's capacitation on a mortal, the divine signature that produces distinctions others cannot compete with. How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth is the pattern: oil, then going about doing good. Zoe life, leading of the Spirit, and the gifts all point to one thing: the anointing on your life. Old covenant oil consecrated offices; New Testament believers are a chosen generation and a royal priesthood, with access because the veil tore. Never disqualify yourself.
2. The oil preceded the finding. Saul was still looking for his father's asses when Samuel poured the vial. Missing pieces do not cancel the oil. "The oil on my life finds things." Many neglect the oil and hunt what the oil was designed to find. "Stop looking at what is missing. Look at the oil on your life." Not being that prayerful yet, or disappointing yourself, does not lift God's hand off you. The presence of the Holy Ghost in a New Testament believer is the anointing.
3. They will tell you, they will give you, you will start doing. Saul's three signs: two men speak (asses found), three men give bread, a band of prophets prophesy and he joins them. Some have been told and given, but have refused to do. "They are not more anointed than you. They are only doing what you have refused to do." They are not better; they are more courageous. Do not try to do what you have not been told; wait for the blueprint, then act.
4. When life plays like deja vu, you are on the script. Jesus came in the volume of what was written about him. God is author and finisher: he has already started and finished your life, and he did not write it so you would be ignorant of it. 1 Corinthians 2:9 is not a closed door; verse 10 says the Spirit has revealed it. A stray thought five or ten years ago can be the Spirit dropping what was already written; years later it manifests. Line up with the script. Passion and becoming are in the script, not in competition or in beating the air. If someone has not seen what he wrote about you, do not take their advice.
5. When the signs begin, do as the occasion serves you. Do not hide when doors open. Do not wait for their validation. Some will say you are not qualified, carry the file of yesterday, block the way, or ask who you are. Still do. Send the email, send the SMS, say good morning even if they never replied. God gives oil and then opportunities and helpers carrying bread; do not walk past them blind. "I've given you oil. If you do not good your opportunities, you will not hold me responsible."
6. Do not need their clap to prophesy. When Saul joined the prophets they said, "Is Saul also among the prophets?" History will mock the oil. "I will prophesy without your opinion. I will walk in the fullness of my calling without your validation." Match the encounter: those who should speak, take the information and walk; those who should give bread, take it and move; those already prophesying, join them. You do not need the school of the prophets to teach you first.
7. The oil is looking for another man. Joining the prophets is how Saul became another man. The point is not what you got but who you became. Prophecy here is speaking, declaring, praying, and warring with the word. Meditate a rhema (even one word such as Perez) until the Spirit points to the area of life that word must hit. The other man is not a product of dreams or wishes; it is a result of prophecy. The present man can cage the oil: too lazy in prayer, not yet the man the oil requires, so the oil looks stale. There is a baby leaping on the inside. Run with what God has said.
8. Prophesy at the garrison, not around it. The hill of God had become the headquarters of the Philistines. God wants a generation that goes back to what used to be his and prophesies there. Father's house, fifteen years ago, ten years ago: how did this become a headquarters of negativity? Do not run around the devil. Look him in the eye. Head back to the place of shame he chased you from, with prophecy. "I am done hiding."
9. Stop fussing over the asses once the signs start. Men will tell you they are found even before you see them. Follow through. Do not stall on what you have not yet gotten. Helpers who know God will give because God told them, not because of you; get those kind of men. The loaf they give is priesthood supply to a man already carrying kingship oil.
10. King, priest, and prophet, or the crown will not last. Oil of kingship is not enough. No king rises to full royalty without priesthood (prayer, intercession) and the prophetic (walking by the word). Leader in a family, steward of a gift, talent, business, or small ministry: you are a king, not for title. If all you know is the crown, they will wound you. God completes the cycle: king, then priesthood, then prophetic.
11. Captain means warrior; the oil is for war. Samuel did not say "king"; he said captain over his inheritance, and captain is warrior. Every elevation is a call to warfare. Do not ask why they are fighting you. The anointing is to guard his inheritance, not to show yourself. First responsibility is the pleasure of the anointer, not the exploits of the anointed. Please the anointer, and he causes you to reap the fullness of the exploits.

• Declare "I am anointed with the Holy Ghost", "I am anointed for this", "I am anointed with the Perez anointing", "I break out on every side", "Holy Ghost, you are my helper", "I refuse to be stranded."

• Fire against systems that drain oil, powers that cover shining, Pharaohs that keep you past your level, and garrisons of negativity in family and history.
• Tell a neighbour "I am anointed for this", "the oil will find it", "wipe your tears", "do", and "what do you see in April?" Take thirty seconds and prophesy April; words are not empty.
• Love the word: it is a compass; as you hear and declare it, great things happen. "Speak, for thy servant heareth."
• Stop hunting what is missing; tap the oil. Start doing what you have already been told and given.
• When signs, doors, and alignment show, do as the occasion serves you: send the mail, send the SMS, greet again, take the bread, join those already prophesying. Do not hide. Do not wait for a clap.
• Prophesy, meditate the rhema, war with the word until another man emerges. Prophesy at the garrison; do not go around it.
• Walk as king, priest, and prophet: prayer and the word, not title only. Make the anointer pleased.
• Speak in the Holy Ghost before the offering. Bring offering, tithe, and partnership as a wave offering.
• Share with a neighbour what blessed you tonight.
• Close with two hands lifted, Psalm 91, then walk up to 10 persons and tell them "God is with thee" / "Do as the occasion serves thee."
