OH LORD SHOW ME MERCY//AND THE LORD SAID YES

Day 3 of the 21-day fast, 7 January 2026, the first mercy prayer of the year, under And the Lord said yes. The cry of the morning was “Oh Lord, show me mercy.” Fire opened already in motion: anything in soul, spirit, or body that is not in line with the will of God must be altered on this altar. Women waiting on the fruit of the womb were told, no matter the medical report, to carry their evidence now. Families under the sound of his voice would no longer record premature death. ICU, businesses that were down, and anyone carrying a sack of delay were told to get up. Addiction was announced broken; the siege over careers and businesses broken. He sent a less-than-24-hour word: shout with all your strength, “The Lord has multiplied me. I will not be few.” The line he kept returning to was: “Whatever that followed you here, except there is no God, you will not leave with it.” Whoever is playing a song of shame or lamentation must swallow your prayer. Men wrote their conclusion; at the sound of amen a glorious chapter is opening. Garment of congratulation, garment of celebration: nobody will rob you of it. At the sound of amen, nothing will go wrong. The death sentence over a family is erased. Between now and the next 30 days, marital favour: you may not see the wind, you may not see the rain, yet you are seeing the Lord. Something is coming, bigger than the prayer, happening too fast, making up for years of rejection and disappointment; it will shock the enemy and surprise friends. When you do not know what to say, what to pray, or how to cry, shout El Roi / Arroi.

The body of the service was a sustained mercy prayer, not a sermon. Hands went up: El Roi, show me mercy; my Father, you are all that I have; without your mercy I will fail, I will fall, the enemy will swallow me, I will be nowhere near your desire for my life. Mercy in weakness, failure, confusion, and adversity. Be our strength, our hiding place, our refuge. Some remember horses, others remember chariots; who do we have in heaven but You? Not by power, not by might, but by Your Spirit. Mercy was asked month by month from January through December 2026: do not leave me where I am. I will lift up my eyes to the hills; my help comes from You. I trust in Your mercy; I will see Your salvation. I do not have what they have, I do not know who they know, but I come by Your mercy. Do not let me cry where I cried last year; do not let me tell the same story again this year. Many have said there is no help for you in God; Thou, O Lord, art a shield for me. He stacked the gospel pictures of mercy that is not earned: the Syrophoenician woman, blind Bartimaeus, Paul shown mercy so he would not have sorrow, Rahab, Mary Magdalene, the malefactor on the cross. Come boldly to the throne of grace and obtain mercy and grace to help in time of need. We need You now. Do not let the mockers prevail. Satisfy us early with Your mercy: the one who started the year in hospital, the one who says negativity has crossed over, the one under accusation, lies, and weakness. By Your mercy, let there be a turnaround. The charge that framed the declarations: when everything fails, mercy never fails. He will arise and have mercy; the time to remember you, your set time, is now.

A woman of God opened the first mercy prayer of 2026 from Lamentations: mercies are new every morning; every day in 2026 let there be new mercy left for us. Shield us from negativity, battles, lies, arrows, delay, stagnation, and waiting. Another pastor put Hagar over the house: your testimony in 2026 shall be “I have seen the God that sees me.” Shame replaced with glory, mockery with congratulations, reduction with lifting; those who laughed at you will laugh with you. It is not a new year, it is a new season. Mercy has gone ahead, not by your strength. Because El Roi has shown you mercy, people will show you mercy. What they call stubborn, terminal, difficult, unresolved: a flood of mercy. Finally you are standing on your feet. What you were worried about has been settled by mercy. I see Him stretching out His hand, saying I have helped you. No more shame, setback, or delay. Shout: El Roi has shown me great mercy. Oppression is turned around; what the Lord did not plant, fire; fire, clear the way. Testimonies matched the God who sees: Kayode Sams in Mararaba, years of dreams of standing naked in public, named on 28 November and gone 38 days; Uche in Enugu for a cousin in Abuja, four cancer differentials spoken in five to six minutes on 24 July, hemoglobin from 3-5 g to about 12 g; Sarah in Germany, a December brain-tumour report emptied on 5 January; a chordoma (one in a million) named on 10 June 2025, later no longer cancerous; Joyce Ndukwesi in Kaduna, 23 years of waiting, a boy on 5 August 2025 after the old miscarriage dreams still came and nothing went wrong. 1. Kayode Sams, Mararaba, Nasarawa State, naked dreams broken - for several years, dreams of standing stark naked in public: church, event centres, airport, abroad, home. It wrecked his confidence. He never told anyone, not even his wife, who introduced him to the platform. 28 November, 41st minute of the prayers, Pastor Jerry named the case: that dream where you always see yourself naked; powers that vowed you will not have any covering, let it be reversed. He had been about to travel and stayed to listen. He had never prayed about it. El Roi saw him. About 38 days: no more such dreams, not even in a bathroom. “I am that one leper who returned.”
2. Uche, Enugu, cousin in Abuja: four differentials reversed - medical professional. Cousin: more than a year of weakness and fever, National Hospital Abuja, then haematology. HB falling; transfusions monthly, then every two weeks, then weekly, no firm diagnosis. MRI chest: suspicious lesion, upper lobe of the right lung. MRI abdomen: liver lesion, later called a liver hemangioma, not cancer. Prostate cancer also suspected; planned lung lobectomy suspended for a CT-guided prostate biopsy; three units of blood given to prepare. 24 July, 47 minutes in: liver hemangioma, let it be reversed; within 5 to 6 minutes, cancer of the lung, cancer of the blood, cancer of the prostate. All four differentials in one window. A doctors’ strike delayed the biopsy. He stopped feeling weaker; hemoglobin rose. Repeat checks: PCV 36, about 12 g of hemoglobin, from a usual 3 g to 5 g. No prostate biopsy needed.
3. Sarah, Germany, brain tumour emptied - head pain through last year, paracetamol and ibuprofen, then sleeping medicine, still no sleep. Specialist in December: tumour in the brain; referred on with papers; next appointment in two weeks. She cried: on NSPPD since 2021, why me? Claimed a word: “They said there is tumour in your brain,” then “What they saw before, they will not see it again.” Sleeping pills stopped; headache lifted. 5 January, on the way to the appointment, the altar said God has gone ahead of you. New scan: no brain tumour. She took the paper back; the specialist repeated the test: not traced. She could not shout; she cried. One leper who came to thank God.
4. Unnamed, chordoma no longer cancerous - diagnosed December 2023. Rare cancer, about one person per million. Three surgeries. A lady introduced NSPPD before the third surgery; she did not follow then, had the third surgery, then radiation, then recurrence at the left carotid. Neurosurgeon: surgery there mostly impossible. She stayed on the altar with her mother. 10 June 2025, about 4:45 a.m. into the prayer: “Chordoma! If you are the one, put it on the live stream. The devil is a liar.” MRI every three months to track the tumour. Last MRI: oncologist said there is good news, it is no more cancerous. She remains on the altar.
5. Mrs. Joyce Ndukwesi, Kaduna, son after 23 years - married since 2002. Failed IVF. Pregnancies came and went; none exceeded 8 weeks. Strip positive 31 December 2024. Old miscarriage dreams still came; in the past those dreams meant a miscarriage would follow. She played Pastor Jerry’s word “Nothing will go wrong. That thing you are afraid of will not happen,” two or three times, prayed, and went back to sleep. Carried to term. Baby boy, 5 August 2025.

Pastor’s recap: El Roi looks at one million and finds one. He likes it when experts testify. God is on this altar; your prayer is on God’s table; He answers, He does not keep in view. The naked dream was taking self-esteem; El Roi covered him. After 23 years the dream still came, but this time nothing scattered: God does not fear face. A woman of God: if He can find one in a million, will He not visit you? Everyone who joined this mercy prayer has carried mercy for the year; 2026 is prepared for a smooth sail.
