OH LORD SHOW ME MERCY//BEHOLD I DO A NEW THING//I REJECT THE OLD

The last NSPPD morning of 2025 opens with a burst of replayed declarations from the altar: wheelchairs being lifted, "whatever followed you here, you will not leave with it", "the sound of your family will no longer record premature death", and a word for women waiting on the fruit of the womb to "carry your evidence". It moves into a long, deliberate thanksgiving to Arroi, "thank you Jesus" counted out twelve times, for cancers healed, situations turned around, and "everything you did on the altar of fire". Pastor Jerry then turns to the day's business: this is the last day of the year, and whatever the Lord did not plant in a life or family must not cross into 2026.

The teaching thread is the title: God does a new thing, and the old is rejected. Using the wedding at Cana, he has the people declare that the old wine has run out and "the new and sweeter wine has arrived", then names the old wine going down: old battles, rising and falling, evil covering, oppression. He calls the 31st "a labour room", quoting "Shall I bring to the birth and not cause to bring forth?", and breaks any power that says "2025 will be like 2026" or that tampers with the calendar and pulls back a person's time. Through the Shunammite's son ("my head, my head") and Lazarus, he goes after the things God gave this year that "died from nowhere": opportunities, favours, a new level, a hunger for God, a door of financial grace, and has the congregation shout "Wake up" over each. The day's cry: "I ran out of the old wine... the new and sweeter wine has arrived."

A run of words of knowledge follows, each with "If you are the one, put it on the live stream... let it be reversed": cancer, Parkinson's disease running in a family, open wounds in the leg, hypertension, hydrocele, cancers of the diaphragm, lung and colon, neuroblastoma, and a family where three members died of cancer and two now have final-stage breast cancer. He then has people shake off 2025 ("Tonight, shake it off") and speaks over them: rooted on a solid rock, unshakable, covered by grace, new doors opening.

The service closes on mercy. Worshippers kneel with whatever they want God's mercy on placed beside their device, and the altar declares that nothing not of God crosses into the new year, every word of God for 2025 is fulfilled, and "2025 tested you. 2026 will reward you", with the first quarter of 2026 named for reward. He calls a thanksgiving seed for the altar under the banner "It ended in praise", then reviews the year: every weekday, month after month, attacked but kept, and promises that in 2026 "the fire will be hotter" and "the audacity will be bolder".

Announcements point to the 31st night crossover at the National Stadium, Abuja, at 9:00 p.m. Nigerian time. A year-in-review film and testimonies play (Zambia, a Nigerian gallstone and kidney healing, a US foot healing, a stage 4 lung cancer, a South Sudanese brother's stage 4 cancer declared gone). After a salvation call and seven communions, Pastor K and a second pastor thank Pastor Jerry for the year, Pastor Jerry honours them and the crew, and the church declares Psalm 91 and receives "congratulations" seven times.

Salvation

Thanksgiving seed

• Not a normal offering: a thanksgiving seed for the gift of NSPPD, for hope, an energised prayer life and understanding of spiritual things, "from January till now". Declarations over it: "what you have thanked the Lord about, you will not cry about", more doors open, uncommon testimonies.

7. Communion of answers: kneel and ask the Lord for three things you want to remember the last day of this year with. "I decree it is done."

Testimonies played / recapped

• Year-in-review film, including Zambia: a mother unable to stand for about two and a half years walked by herself at the declaration; the same woman said something "popped" in her ear and she can now hear in her right ear; "she's the one of the wheelchair".
• Eddie (Nigeria), for his mother: pain in the upper chest and back; a teaching hospital scan found cholelithiasis (gallstones) and bilateral pyelonephritis (captioned "benritis"). Before the January 2025 fast he printed the report, cancelled it in pen and wrote that it would be reversed before 31 January. On 17 January Pastor Jerry declared stones in any part of the body would drop off; on 27 January, the last day of the fast, Pastor Jerry named "bilateral pyelonephritis" moments after Eddie asked inwardly for it to be mentioned. A repeat scan at the same radiology department found no abnormalities; the doctor asked, "What did you do?"
• Teresa (USA): from April, burning pain in the sole of the foot; the podiatrist diagnosed osteoarthritis, plantar fasciitis and abnormal bone growth; steroid injection, physiotherapy and a cane gave no relief. She heard "osteoarthritis" declared and the pain eased, then "abnormal bone growth" on 17 July and the pain went. At her late July appointment she refused the second injection she no longer needed. Also healed of overactive bladder and of haemorrhage.
• Unnamed woman: diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in February 2025; received "lung cancer, be reversed" on 10 March; on 26 March her consultant found no cancer visible in the liver; in August 2025 no cancer cells visible in any organ.
• Nancy Loga (South Sudan), for her brother: constantly ill after graduation; referred abroad (captioned "Ghana", later Uganda) where biopsy, MRI and CT found cancer spread through the body, stage 4, living only on painkillers for over six months, no chemo. She stood in faith for him and had him join the altar. Neck tumours scheduled for surgery: a surgeon passing by stopped the operation as too risky, and the tumours disappeared (Pastor Jerry had declared over an "inoperable" neck tumour). She sent a seed of a month's salary from both of them to the altar in Abuja. Last week the oncologist asked, "Have you been praying about this matter?" and found no cancer. Pastor Jerry had the congregation ask their neighbours the same question.

1. God is doing a new thing. The old wine of old battles, rising and falling, evil covering and oppression has run out, and God has kept the best wine for last.
2. The 31st is a labour room. God does not bring to the birth and fail to deliver, so any power saying 2026 will look like 2025, or that tampers with a person's calendar, is a liar.
3. What God gave, spoke, promised or confirmed cannot die. Opportunities, favours, levels and hunger for God that "died from nowhere" this year must wake up like Lazarus and the Shunammite's son.
4. Mercy goes ahead. Believers step into 2026 with a mark of mercy: mercy shows up before they arrive, speaks before they speak and silences every other voice.
5. 2025 tested you; 2026 will reward you, beginning in the first quarter.
6. The altar exists, as Jesus was manifested, to destroy the works of the devil. Despite attacks, NSPPD is not stepping down: in 2026 the fire will be hotter, the audacity bolder, and more territory taken for Jesus.
7. The year ends in praise. Even one second before the end of 2025, God can still do a last-minute miracle.
