OH LORD SHOW ME MERCY//CROSSOVER TO THE OTHER SIDE [DAY 3]

Day 3 of the "Crossover to the Other Side" week, seven days before the end of 2025, was a single long cry for mercy. After the opening montage of altar moments, Pastor Jerry led the congregation, hands lifted, into the prayer "Oh Lord, show me mercy." He built it on Exodus 15:13 ("in thy mercy [thou] hast led forth the people which thou hast redeemed") and on the Bible's mercy-seekers: the Canaanite woman, the ten lepers, and the widow of Nain whose son's burial was cancelled by compassion. The day's cry, in his words: "Seven days to the end of the year. All I ask, all I pray, all I desire is your mercy. You are all I have."

The prayer moved through the Psalms of help (Psalm 46, 73, 121, 61, 94, 3) and two pictures of rescue. First the Good Samaritan: wherever God's people have been beaten, left bleeding and wondering "where do I go from here", God is their Good Samaritan when the priest and the Levite pass by. Then Peter sinking on the water: "Lord, save me." He prayed for everyone sinking in health, finances, marriage, consecration, dreams and vision, "Pull them out", and declared God the shield, the glory and the lifter of the head, the faithful and merciful High Priest who is touched by our infirmities.

Words of knowledge followed under the refrain "If you are the one, put it on the live stream. The devil is a liar. I announce, let it be reversed": anaplastic thyroid carcinoma, osteogenesis imperfecta, spinal shock, triplets all born with Down syndrome, disseminated intravascular coagulation, a failing second kidney transplant, three siblings struck by stroke at the same time, three siblings whose marriages were all near separation, relapsing polychondritis, and the recurring dream of travelling but never arriving.

He then called the "mercy prayer": write down what you want mercy on, place it by your device, and kneel. The decree was that in the remaining seven days "they are delivering your answers", "the year is not permitted to end until that door has opened", and "the Egyptians you saw, you see them no more." The seed of thanksgiving was sown while each person named three things God's mercy had done that day, and the congregation shouted seven times: "The Lord has shown me great mercy."

Testimonies played before communion: a woman married after the "women in their 30s, 40s, 50s, receive your spouse" word; Phyllis from the United States, promoted and free of endometrial cancer at 59, the age and illness that killed her mother; a woman who met her husband on 1 January 2025 and was married within weeks; Rejoice from the UK, whose colleague Kieran escaped amputation; and Christine, healed of a pneumothorax and cracked ribs after a snowmobile crash. The pastor broke a generational "pattern or cycle", served three communions, announced a special Christmas Day edition of NSPPD and the Crossover Night on 31 December, and closed with Pastor K and a Psalm 91 declaration: "The mercy of God has prevailed."

Testimonies played / recapped

• Unnamed woman: believed God for marriage for years; suitors came and went. Received the word "women in their 30s, 40s, 50s, receive your spouse", met her husband and married last August, then moved house and changed job. The pastor afterwards spoke of "marital settlement at 52", likely this testimony.
• Phyllis, United States (recorded 23 December 2025): joined the altar in September 2024. (1) A major job promotion after the Holy Spirit prompted her to apply for a role she felt unqualified for; highest pay of her life. (2) Her mother died of endometrial cancer in 2005 at 59; Phyllis was diagnosed with the same cancer at 59, heard the word "endometrial cancer" on the altar, had surgery on 4 December with a doctor praying with the family, and is cancer free with no chemo or radiation. Plans to visit Abuja once the new building opens. The pastor then broke every generational "pattern or cycle".
• Unnamed woman (31 December 2024 request list): wrote 31 requests including marital settlement, and prayed "I will not sabotage what God is doing." A friend introduced a man; she met him on 1 January 2025 while the pastor declared a "mantle of marital favour" for the first quarter. Said yes on the 3rd, introduction on the 7th, further ceremonies on the 18th and 31st (traditional marriage), wedding on 23 April; "in two weeks".
• Rejoice, UK: colleague Kieran (captioned "Karen" / "caring") broke a leg; the fixing metal was incompatible, repeated surgeries followed, he ended up in a wheelchair and faced amputation if the last surgery failed. Rejoice took his photos to the UK prayer conference (venue captioned "Twin Stadium") and connected him. A clip plays of another testifier with vasculitis (admitted 14 June, no life below the right knee, surgeon set on amputation) who heard "no more amputation" and kept the leg. Kieran received the word, wore an NSPPD wristband, and is now walking and back at work.
• Christine: after the January fast, extended to mid February, she went on a ski trip without staying in prayer. A snowmobile went off the mountainside; she was pinned between the machine and a tree, blacking out, until a voice shouted "Christine, move." Diagnosed with a pneumothorax (punctured lung), slight head trauma and nearly all ribs cracked. After words of knowledge on "pneumothorax" and "cracked ribs from an accident", her breathing, lung function and pain improved. The pastor: "you are exempted" from the evil day when fun turns to near death.
• The pastor drew out that NSPPDians "collect problems everywhere" and bring them to the altar, and that marital settlement came in two weeks: "seven days is too small for what?"

1. Mercy is the whole request for the end of the year. "All I ask, all I pray, all I desire is your mercy": not what others have or whom they know, but God alone.
2. There is nothing God's mercy cannot remove or reverse. The widow's son proves compassion can cancel a funeral already under way.
3. God is the Good Samaritan for the beaten and bleeding, and the hand that pulled Peter out: wherever his people are sinking, he lifts them.
4. Jesus is a merciful and faithful High Priest who feels our infirmities; guilt and a sense of having failed God do not block mercy. "The guilt is over. The consequences are deleted."

6. Patterns and cycles that ran through a parent's life can be broken; a family line does not have to repeat.
7. Because God has shown you mercy, people will show you mercy, and it will be easier than you prayed for.
