OH LORD SHOW ME MERCY//FURNACE OF ANSWERS [DAY 3]

Day 3 of the Furnace of Answers week was a mercy service. The captions open on a montage of earlier altar moments: wheelchairs lifted, a word for women waiting on the fruit of the womb ("carry your evidence right now"), "whatever followed you here, you will not leave with it", "swallow your prayer" for anyone singing a song of shame, and "the sound of your family will no longer record premature death". A salvation prayer is led inside that opening.

The main prayer was a long, weeping cry for mercy. Pastor Jerry led the altar through Scripture after Scripture on God's mercy: "Arise, O Lord, show me mercy", "Where my labor has failed, where my effort has failed, where man may have failed, don't leave me the way I am." He prayed for those told they had come to the end of the road, those fighting the same battle again and again, those laden with guilt, delay, denial, autism, cancer and addiction. He drew on Bartimaeus ("there was the end of blindness because of your mercy") and on Lazarus ("Lord, come and see"), asking mercy to call God's people out of delay, cancer, tumor, shame and mockery. The day's cry, in his words: "Let your mercy be poured out."

A dense stretch of words of knowledge followed, each closed with "if you are the one, put it on the live stream; the devil is a liar, let it be reversed": disseminated intravascular coagulation, coma, spinal shock, cancers of the uterus, urethra, small bowel and thyroid, primary ovarian insufficiency, single ventricle disease, Prinzmetal angina, genotypes changing, dementia and Parkinson's. There were family words too: a father in witchcraft who threatened his household two days earlier, a sister who went mad on two wedding days, and a family whose "evil journey" planned for 17 December was blocked by mercy. He then led mercy declarations ("By the mercy of God, what the enemy meant for shame is turned around for your testimony") and had the altar declare "The mercy of God has prevailed" 14 times, followed by "Operation total clean up" declarations and a seed of thanksgiving.

Testimonies played: a run of "inanimate object" miracles (a BlackBerry dead since 2017, a thunder-blasted Sony TV, kitchen appliances, a phone screen, a towed car with a knocked engine, a child's tablet); a UK master's student who kept his distinction after a late submission; Jennifer in Canada, who received a son exactly ten years to the day after her wedding; and a couple from Enugu whose marriage, pig farm and finances were turned around, ending in a duplex built in five months. The team drew out the lessons, launched the phrase "Do you know Arroi?" as the day's prophetic word, and led a second salvation prayer, three communions, and a Psalm 91 declaration. Son born 18 August 2022, around 10:46 a.m., exactly ten years after the wedding.
• Couple from Enugu (married about 8 years): constant marital war ("either you come out and kill me or I kill you"); joined the altar December 2022, peace since 2024 after the vow renewal prayers. Their small pig farm kept recording unexplained losses until they sold the biggest pig and sowed it as a seed. In 2024 they printed a duplex as evidence and bought key holders; started building in August with only 5 million, the house stood within 5 months, and they woke up in it in early 2025. 1. Mercy reaches where labor, effort and man have failed. The cry is "don't leave me the way I am."
2. God is all we have. Horses, chariots, Asshur and the work of our hands cannot save; in him the fatherless, the tired and the helpless find mercy.
3. It is nothing for God to help, with many or with none. What is impossible with man is not impossible with him.
4. Mercy calls people out, as Jesus called Bartimaeus: out of blindness, delay, cancer, shame and mockery. Whatever does not look like God will not endure.
5. The enemy cannot finish what God started; the God of our journey is the finisher, and the story will not end the way the enemy planned.
6. Where the enemy placed a full stop, mercy opens a new chapter of joy and celebration. The mercy of God has prevailed.
