FINISHING POWERFULLY [PART 5]

The evening service at Streams of Joy opened with long worship ("You are mighty", "He's able", "Lion of Judah", "The goodness of God", "Where would I be without you", "Yahweh the provider, the sustainer", "This is my story"). A prayer leader then cried out to Arroi, "the God that sees me", at the end of the year: "I will not leave here without the evidence of my strong finish", and "I must enter the other side of my joy, my peace, my help, my emergency celebration." He called God "the God of the 12th" (the twelfth month), and quoted "better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof."

A second fire prayer session followed, first centred on delivery: "You cannot bring me to the birth and not cause me to bring forth. Whatsoever I am yet to deliver in 2025, come out." Hands on the stomach, the congregation prayed against "demonic midwives", using Mephibosheth, who was not born lame but was dropped by his nurse, and the dragon of Revelation waiting to devour the child. Then came Joshua 13 ("there remaineth yet very much land"): "I will not settle... territories, lands with my name on it." Prayers moved through Psalm 60:12, Psalm 66:12 and Numbers 22:12 (read as December verses: "this is the 12th month"), a "broom of fire" to sweep out last-minute shame, Pharaoh trying to cut short the evidence, dragging family members through open doors, "as we rise, they go down", Jezebel thrown down, Elijah's "if I be a man of God, let fire come down", and "these chapters shall not close until I win." The session ended with decrees: "I am already there", "it is done."

The Word took Joshua 5:12-15 and 6:1-11, "Finishing Powerfully, Part 5", acted out on stage with volunteers as Jericho, Joshua, the Captain of the Lord's host, ten Jerichoans, ten Israelites and the heavenly army. Before Scripture describes the shut-up wall of Jericho, it shows the Captain of the Lord's host. Joshua saw only two sides; the Captain said there is a third party "you can't see, but we will determine how it will end." Joshua did not ask "how will you fight?" but "what saith my lord unto his servant?": victory is "not in muscle, it is in what He says." The first word was about Joshua, not Jericho: "Loose thy shoe from off thy foot", which the preacher applied to doubt, guilt, anxiety, wrong association and making men your god. "Joshua was by Jericho": he was looking down beside the wall until he lifted up his eyes, and the Man had been standing there all along. "The devil cannot stop what God has done, but the devil can stop you from getting what God has done."

The charge was "Raise your head" and "See what you can't see". God told Joshua "See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour" while the city was still hidden behind its wall; getting specifics about what you cannot yet see is a sign the word is authentic. Treat the wall like someone you refuse to see, and "after a while it will know it came to the wrong address": "Jericho, nobody pushed it. It fell." He prophesied "in three days" about something unplanned turning around, and "before the 20th of December" a turnaround and access that produces evidence. The service closed with prayer ("we lift our heads above the wall, we see Jesus"), offering, announcements for the new month prayers' grand finale, the 12th anniversary and the crossover, then Psalm 91 declarations.

The day's cry: "It may be covered, but I have seen it. It's in my hands."

• Treat the report like someone you refuse to see, and it will know it came to the wrong address: "cancer", "diabetes", "ancestral" sickness named in that line.
• Decrees: walls collapsing, angels on assignment, seats of darkness uprooted, ordinances of hell broken, good news erupting in families; "within the hour" the word of the Lord confirmed over lives.

1. God finishes what He starts. He cannot bring to the birth and shut the womb; your end is not an event or a situation, your end is God, and it is "antithetical to the ordinances of Scripture" that He would not let you end the year with laughter.
2. Before God shows you the wall, He shows you Himself. Jericho was allowed to be this hard so Joshua would get his own "copyright revelation" of God, not only what Moses told him.
3. There is always a third party you cannot see. It is not what the devil is doing, not your strength, not your weakness, and not even your fasting: the Captain of the Lord's host determines how it ends.
4. Victory is in what He says, not in muscle. Much of what He already won for us has not become tangible because we forgot what He said. In a stuck season, seek instruction: "What saith my Lord?" Miss the rhema and you miss the kairos.
5. God speaks to you before He speaks to the situation. "Loose thy shoe" means take off doubt, guilt, anxiety, fear of tomorrow, shame, wrong association, making men your god, and the idea that God can only do it one way. You are forgiven; He calls you a saint because of who He is.
6. Help was already there; the head was bowed. The devil cannot stop what God has done, but he can stop you from receiving it by keeping your eyes on the wall. Joy comes not from the absence of a Jericho but from a change of focus.
7. See what you cannot see. God describes what is behind the wall ("the king thereof, the mighty men of valour") before it falls; getting specifics is a sign the word is authentic. A renewed mind thinks God's thoughts, so do not only own the bad thoughts; pray over the good ones.
8. A wall comes with new territory. If God has shown you something bigger than where you are, expect a wall, and do not look at it: "Jericho, nobody pushed it. It fell."

• Lift your head above the wall; tell your neighbour "Raise your head", "Stop looking at the failure", "Stop looking at what they said."
• Ask God like Joshua, "What sayest thou to me?", and receive the word for what remains of 2025.
• Take off what He names: doubt, guilt, anxiety, fear of tomorrow, shame, wrong association.
• Declare "It may be covered, but I have seen it. It's in my hands"; talk, pray, declare and prophesy like what you have seen, and shout and dance ahead of the evidence.
