OH LORD SHOW ME MERCY//[AND THE MOST HIGH SHOWED UP - DAY 3]

Day 3 of the "And the Most High Showed Up" series was given over to one cry: "Oh Lord, show me mercy." The stream opens and closes with a highlight reel of altar declarations (wheelchairs lifted, "the sound of your family will no longer record premature death", "whatever followed you here, you will not leave with it", "my Lazarus is not dead, wake up", a salvation call, and a word for women waiting on the fruit of the womb to "carry your evidence right now"). The live prayer proper starts with Pastor Jerry leading the congregation, hands lifted, into a long, groaning cry for mercy in which Arroi is invoked again and again.

The prayer is built almost entirely from Scripture. He prays the psalms of dependence ("Who do I have in heaven but you? On earth there is none beside you"; "I will lift up my eyes unto the hills"; "some trust in horses, some in chariots"; "when my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher") and comes "boldly to the throne of grace to obtain mercy". He asks for the mercy that ended Elizabeth's barrenness and cleansed the ten lepers, calls the congregation "vessels of mercy" on whom God makes known the riches of His glory, and asks God to "make a name for yourself". The king's reply to the woman in besieged Samaria ("If the Lord does not help you, how can I help you?") becomes a charge against running to men, structures and systems. He then prays for people who have "suffered many things of many physicians", from one doctor or lawyer to the next, for those in chemotherapy that is not working, those told a leg must be cut off, families facing terminal illness, and for anyone asking "Is this how I am going to end this year?" The theme line he repeats is: "I trust in your mercy, I will see your salvation."

A long round of words of knowledge follows, each with "If you are the one, put it on the live stream; the devil is a liar; let it be reversed." After asking the congregation to put beside their device whatever they want God's mercy on and to share the link, he decrees the verdict: "Whatsoever is written against you, by the mercy of God it is overruled... It has ended in mercy," and "I declare the Most High has shown up." He then asks everyone to put together a seed of thanksgiving, ask the Lord for three things, and write boldly beside them: "The mercy of God has prevailed."

The co-host then announces the NSPPD Crossover Night (31 December, National Stadium, Abuja), the testimony line, and tells people to bring their projects and proposals tomorrow. The testimonies played lean on the Ghana conference (hormonal, back, waist and breast pain healed), three miraculous marriages, a cousin in Jamaica brought back from a coma with myasthenia gravis, twins after eight years of waiting, and a long run of "inanimate object" testimonies: a car, blenders, a fan, a television and a phone working again.

The service closes with the salvation prayer, three communion servings, social handles, a short word from Pastor K (15 testimonies on Monday, 17 yesterday, 18 today: "It's like there's a progression"), thanks from a second minister for "the God of the overflow", a Psalm 91 declaration, and seven rounds of "Congratulations".

Testimonies played / recapped

• Ghana conference, hormonal imbalance: a woman prayed "make me a partaker of whatever miracle is taking place"; at about 11:45 p.m. that night, back home, her menstrual flow came without medication.
• Ghana conference, waist pain: a young woman who could not bend and stand straight heard testimonies of back pain healed; her back released, now 3 weeks to a month free.
• Ghana conference, breast pain: pain for 2 months before the conference; gone for about 3 weeks since.
• Ghana conference, back pain: could not get out of bed or lift heavy things; when Pastor Jerry "reversed all sorts of pains" she took it; now lifts and moves freely.
• Marital settlement: a woman claimed the declaration "ladies in their 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, receive your marital settlement"; traditional marriage on 23 August, then her wedding. "God gave me what made me ask: is this for me?"
• Marital settlement after a bad relationship: in a "nonsense relationship" in 2023 and stopped praying; resumed in 2024 claiming the same declaration; in 2025 her husband came in March and they married (date in captions unclear).
• Wedding "this year": at the Thursday service on 21 August, a day before Pastor Jerry's birthday, he taught that God's children can call forth their season and declared "that wedding is happening this year." Her friend proposed that same evening. Traditional wedding 6 November, a second ceremony 7 November, church wedding 8 November.
• Natalie (United Kingdom), cousin in Jamaica: could not breathe or swallow, lost weight, admitted in July to a big hospital in Kingston, straight into ICU and a coma; diagnosed with myasthenia gravis (autoimmune). A lung collapsed and an infection set in; every attempt to take him off the ventilator failed. She held a phone to his bed, put his name in the birthday prayer requests and the chat. Pastor Jerry said "this sickness is not unto death"; on 6 August at 7:53 he mentioned myasthenia gravis, on 7 August at 7:53 "any autoimmune disease", at 8:05 "those in ICU, get up", at 8:06 "any death sent to your family has boomeranged". That day he came off the ventilator and kept breathing, left ICU, the feeding tube came out, he spoke and ate, and he was discharged just before Pastor Jerry's birthday. Follow-up checks were clear.
• Mrs. Omar (name uncertain), Benin City: 8 years of waiting. At Pastor Jerry's birthday last year he declared over women "in their early 40s, early 50s... babies are everywhere, carry your babies"; she conceived that month. At 5 months she was admitted to UBTH with blood pressure trouble; two people died in her ward, but she delivered twins, a girl and a boy. "My house is no longer empty."
• Inanimate objects: after the declaration over "inanimate objects that have stopped working":
  • a car parked for over a month after 800k was spent on a failed gearbox repair now drives (she had been taking her son to school by okada);
  • a fan unused all year works again;
  • a blender received as a wedding gift that never worked now runs;
  • a dashboard now shows no warning light (the mantle still in the car);
  • two blenders dead for over 5 years both work;
  • a television dead for over 6 months works;
  • a phone unused for 3 years switched on;
  • a blender dead for 8 months, already replaced, runs again.

Words of knowledge / healing declarations

1. Mercy, not effort, is the answer where labour, friends and helpers have failed. "When your mercy steps in, mountains melt, arrows dissolve, doors open, turnaround comes."
2. God is not our second option but our only option. Men, structures and systems cannot help if the Lord does not help, so our eyes stay on Him the way a servant watches the master's hand.
3. No report, expert, or enemy writes the conclusion while mercy is still at work: "Who will write the conclusion when you are a God of mercy?"
4. God can be touched with the feeling of our infirmities. He remembers even when a mother forgets her child, and He sees those who have gone from one doctor or lawyer to the next.
5. The verdict: "Whatsoever is written against you is overruled. It has ended in mercy." Where there was shame, glory has taken over; where they said no, a mega yes. "The Most High has shown up."
6. Year end is when distraction is strongest: ceremonies pull people away from the altar, and "this is the time the blood sucking demons push their full arsenal." Stay on the altar.
7. Word after word changes cases, as with the cousin in the ICU, so be present in real time instead of watching later.
8. Testimonies are multiplying day by day (15, 17, 18), and the God who remembers a blender and a car will remember you: "you are going to get the kind of testimony that will make you ask, who is it for?"
