THE RISE OF GLORIOUS WATCHMEN: NO SPACE FOR NEGATIVITY [PART 5]

This was the Thursday evening Word & Fire service at Streams of Joy, the last Thursday of October 2025, and the fifth and closing part of the series "The Rise of Glorious Watchmen". It opened in worship ("Thank you for fighting my battle for me", "You always come through for me", "You are great, You do miracles", "We bless You Lord, You are holy") and a prophetic "turning around" dance before the Father. The opening prayer leader thanked God for carrying the church from January to the end of October and prayed Colossians 1:9 and 2 Corinthians 3:18: "make me that man", the watchman my generation is waiting for, changed from glory to glory.

The prayer session was a long fire session built on the series title. The congregation asked for renewed strength for the end of October, for November and for the rest of 2025 (body, mind, marriage, children, vision), and asked to be sharpened in countenance, speech, discernment and sight: "I see it before it happens". The cry of the night was: "No more room to negativity, no more room to rising and falling, no more room to setbacks, no more room to denial." They declared that the setbacks of January to October end in October ("November, new me"), that they move "from prophecy to my evidence", and that the wait is over. Standing on the morning's word from NSPPD ("I will give you rain in your due season"), they warred with the promise for rain, stood as watchmen for family members, wrote down what is missing in their families as "the pen of a ready writer", set the house of Jacob on fire against satanic watchtowers monitoring their lives, and closed with the decree: "The enemy lost the battle again."

Pastor Jerry then read Judges 4:17-24 and 4:8-9 and closed the series with the watchman who stood on no tower: Jael, the wife of Heber the Kenite. A watchman sees what others cannot see, is trusted with warfare others cannot carry, gives up a level of pleasure and leisure, and holds the gate: open it at the wrong time and the wrong people come in; close it wrongly and the treasures never arrive. He said he had seven things from Jael's life and worked through the main ones. First, choose a side: the Kenites were at peace with both Israel and Canaan, so neutrality was allowed, yet Jael took a stand. Deborah's prophecy said the honour would go "to a woman" with no name attached, a blank cheque looking for someone who is not neutral. Second, she recognised an enemy in her house; a neutral person accepts the diagnosis, a watchman says "this one is from the devil" and fights. Third, she covered Sisera with a mantle, which he took from the Hebrew adereth, cloak but also glory and splendour: some people and situations you do not argue with, you "adereth" them, releasing glory, for example by praying in the Holy Ghost. Fourth, Sisera asked for water and got milk: give the devil and your generation more than, and other than, what they expect.

The heaviest point was the sleeping general. In the middle of a war Sisera lay down, asked for a blanket, drank, slept, and told a woman to stand at his gate; the person at his gate was the one who killed him and then called his enemy to come and look. Pastor Jerry asked the "generals" in the room who is standing at their gate while they sleep in discernment, foresight and insight, warned them not to sleep because people are smiling or the battle seems quieter, and not to lean on "my mother is praying for me". He led the hymn "Christian, seek not yet repose ... watch and pray", recalled the morning's NSPPD testimony of an unborn child with broken bones and no hands ("but for God"), and warned against petty fights that break up families and hand the devil access. He closed the series: if you sleep, they take over the gates; if their milk will sedate you, let them keep it, because generals do not sleep while the battle is still on.

The service ended with praying in tongues, "I decree it is done, nothing missing and nothing broken", the offering, announcements for the last day of the month prayer, a Psalm 91 declaration, everyone telling 14 people "I am not neutral", and the worship song "Let your glory fall, like fire, like rain".

1. A watchman sees what others cannot, is trusted with warfare others cannot carry, and gives up some pleasure and leisure because destiny must be fulfilled. The fate of a whole city could rest on one person at the gate.
2. The time to be neutral is over. Jael had no quarrel with Israel or Canaan and could have stayed in the middle, but she chose a side. Prophecy hovers around people and passes over the neutral; the honour went to "a woman" with no name, so the blank cheque is open to anyone who takes a stand. You cannot be a church girl and a club girl at once.
3. Jael never heard the prophecy, but her choice aligned her with it. Every time you refuse the status quo and say what God says, there is divine alignment.
4. When you are not neutral you recognise the enemy that has entered your house, a sickness, unforgiveness, a stronghold, and you do not host it: God and the devil are not sharing your body.
5. The mantle (adereth) is glory and splendour. Some people and situations are not argued with but overcome by the glory you carry. Your distinction, your ease and your access are in your glory, and praying in the Holy Ghost releases it.
6. When they ask for water, give them milk: do not give the devil the fear, tears and anxiety he expects, and give your generation more than it asks for.
7. Generals do not sleep while the battle is on. Sisera died because he slept and let someone else hold his gate. Sleep in discernment, foresight and insight lets the enemy take the gate, and whoever holds your gate invites your enemies to laugh at you. Do not sleep because they are smiling or the battle seems quieter; friends can become enemies overnight.
8. Do not win little fights and lose the war. Petty offences that break up families are the devil's way to gain access.
9. As the year ends: surely there is an end, what held you back from January to October ends in October, and November is a season of rain, new testimonies and moving from prophecy to evidence. "The enemy lost the battle again."

Today / this season

• Refuse neutrality: say "I stand where God stands, I say what God says", and tell people "I am not neutral".
• Take your place at the gate as a watchman for your family; pray for family members to enter their due season and do not rely on someone else's prayers while you sleep.
• Deal with enemies in the house (sickness, unforgiveness, strongholds) instead of accepting them.
• Give time to prayer instead of scrolling the phone; when others are planning against you, take ten minutes alone and pray in the Holy Ghost.
• Write down what is missing in your family (open doors, advancement, good health, marital settlement, speedy elevation for children) and declare it.
• Give the devil the opposite of what he expects: no panic, no tears, more fire.
• Drop petty fights that divide the family.
• Share with a neighbour what blessed you; give offerings, tithes and partnership.
