THE RISE OF GLORIOUS WATCHMEN: NO SPACE FOR NEGATIVITY [PART 1]

The service opened with long worship ("I will do your will, O God", "I worship you", "Jesus, you're my firm foundation", "I have a living hope", "My daddy, my darling", "Mighty God, awesome God") and a prophetic launch in the Holy Ghost: "This is Mount Zion, the city of the living God." The congregation stepped in declaring "I move from expectations to manifestations" and "I arise", and the service was named from the altar as "the service of the rise of the glorious watchman". Calling it the first Thursday of "an October to occupy", the altar led the house through Isaiah 58:12 (repairer of the breach, raising the foundations of many generations) and Jeremiah 1:10 (root out, pull down, then plant and build): "In place of pain, I plant praise. In place of shame, I plant new and glorious beginnings. In place of delay, I plant speed."

A long fire session followed. The people arose "as a watchman" over career, business and family; demanded restoration of stolen favor, diverted promotion and stolen identity ("when the thief is caught, he shall restore"); took back open doors, health and lifting "by fire"; and declared "My Lazarus is alive" and "Not under my watch." Jeremiah's "What do you see?" and the "decree of the watchers" turned into seeing and decreeing: "I see elevation, I decree I am elevated. I see my wedding, I decree I am happily married. I see my healing, I announce I am completely healed." The title theme came here: every negativity, shame, reduction, rising and falling, constant battle and sickness "is not my promise; I do not see them, I see fulfillment of the promise." Words of knowledge on strokes, facial muscles, an expired immunization and broken marriages closed the session with "Let a new season burst out."

The teaching began with the congregation standing to read Isaiah 62:6-9 together. The pastor called the last quarter of the year "the quarter of watchmen": what you do not see "might make 2026 still look like 2025", and the problem is not a lack of heaven's resources but "a watchman who has refused to answer his name." He laid a historical foundation: Nehemiah posting guards family by family against Sanballat and Tobiah (Nehemiah 4:13-14, MSG); Isaiah 56:10's blind, mute watchdogs "loving to slumber"; Jesus' order "watch and pray", not "pray and watch"; and 1 Peter 5:8 as the whole duty of a watchman in one verse.

From the walled, gated cities of the Bible he drew the marks of a watchman. He opens the gate by day and closes it by night, but closes it early when he sees an enemy, so the gate is ruled "by what he sees", not by routine. His advantage is height: from the tower he sees first, so "nothing takes a watchman by surprise", and he sees them while they cannot see him. The first line of attack is always the tower: "Don't look at the attack. Look at who you are. If you were not a threat, the arrows will never come." The watchman thinks beyond himself ("you are carrying your sister's marriage"), must give a certain sound with the trumpet (1 Corinthians 14:8), is not permitted to sleep or to bring pleasure onto duty, often walks a solitary road, and is armed: the first line of defense fires the first arrow before he alerts the city. The hymn "Christian, seek not yet repose ... Watch and pray" returned again and again as the refrain.

He admitted he had only laid the foundation ("I haven't even gone into what I came to talk to you about"), then had everyone stand, pray in tongues and "close the gates now" over brothers, sisters and marriages. Offering, tithe and partnership were raised as a wave offering, the weekend was announced, and the night closed with Psalm 91 declarations, "A watchman has arisen", and the hymn again.

• Series: "The Rise of Glorious Watchmen: No Space for Negativity", Part 1, at the Thursday Word and Fire service, called "the first Thursday in October" and "an October to occupy". The altar said "I heard the Lord say to me: occupy" and "there shall be no loss" in career, health and marriage this October.
• The pastor named the last quarter of 2025 "the quarter of watchmen" and the remaining three months "months of the watchmen". He said this part only laid the foundation (historical) and that he had not yet reached the summary of the life of a watchman, so more is to come in the series.

• Offerings, tithes and partnership raised as a wave offering, with the blessing that the devourer is rebuked and the windows of heaven are opened.

1. God has a mandate for every believer to be a watchman over family, career, church, ministry, city and nation. What has been missing is not heaven's resources but "people, but no watchmen"; many pray, few watch.
2. Watch first, then pray. Only a good watch shows you what to pray, so prayers stop missing God's will.
3. The watchman controls the gate by what he sees, not by routine. Too many open their gates in the dark and close them in the day, and wrong things enter; ask "where were you when disease entered your family?"
4. The watchman's advantage is height. Going beyond where others stop in prayer lets you see before it happens, so "nothing takes a watchman by surprise"; spiritual myopia ends with this series. From the tower you see them while they cannot see you.
5. The first attack always comes to the tower. Attacks, discouragement and mountains at critical seasons are evidence of who you are: "If you were not a threat, the arrows will never come. The devil is already afraid of you."
6. The watchman thinks beyond himself. You may not be the first child or head of the house, yet a sibling's marriage or settlement may rest in your hands. Do not envy those who are not facing what you face.
7. The watchman must give a certain sound, must not sleep or grow comfortable when things start looking up, keeps duty separate from pleasure, does not make prayer communal ("I don't care who is not praying"), and accepts a journey that is often solitary.
8. Every watchman is armed. He is the first line of defense and fires the first arrow before alerting the city: "Let it never be said you were around and the devil had the last word."
9. No space for negativity: shame, reduction, rising and falling, constant battles and sickness are not the promise. See the fulfillment of what God said, and decree it.

• Pray the opening mandate: "I am a repairer of the breach; I arise in October to raise the foundations of many generations." Root out and pull down what the Father did not plant, then plant praise, new beginnings and speed.
• Declare "I am a watchman" over nation, family, city and industry, and draw the line: "Devil, access denied. Delay, shame, rising and falling, access denied."
• See, then decree: name the elevation, marriage, success and healing you see, and decree it; refuse every negativity that is not your promise.
• Watch and pray in that order; rise higher in prayer than where others stop; do not wait for an emergency before praying.
• Stand, pray in tongues for 60 seconds and close the gates over your brother, sister and marriage.
• Give offering, tithe and partnership as a wave offering.
• Tell your neighbor what blessed you tonight, then walk up to 14 persons and shout in their ear, "A watchman has arisen."
