THE SIEGE IS BROKEN

This was an eight and a half hour broadcast from Streams of Joy Abuja: four services on the last Sunday of September 2025, and the church called it a healing and deliverance service. Each service followed the same shape. Worship came first, then a declaration over the week, then a long "siege is broken" prayer session, a sermon, testimonies, an offering and the welcome. In the first service he took the congregation through the sieges one at a time and had them shout "break" at each: smallness, delay at the time of celebration, barrenness, marital blockage, rising and falling, untimely death, diseases that run in the bloodline, familiar spirits and monitoring eyes, obscurity and prayerlessness. The cry of the day was "The siege is broken. It will not happen again."

The first sermon was Luke 13:11-17, the woman bowed together for eighteen years. His first point was that the Sabbath is rest, so it is an error to belong to Jesus and still not be at rest. His second was that the real battle was never Jesus against the woman. It was between the Lord and his adversaries, who were his adversaries before the healing. "It is you and the Lord", so choose whom you align with and never agree with the enemy's verdict. Third, the spirit may already have left and the woman still stayed bent. Jesus first gave her a word, "thou art loosed", and then laid his hands on her, because what she lacked was the impartation that told her she was free. Eighteen years can leave you in a posture even after the cause is gone.

The second sermon was Luke 8:26-39, the man with Legion. In verse 35 the man is "sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind", and the pastor presented these three as the believer the devil cannot toy with: sitting in the word, clothed in your identity in Christ, and in your right mind, which he defined as the mind of Christ. The torment the demons complained of was Jesus' command, so "when you want to torment the devil, don't beg, command". The swineherds chose to be normal, and they are the ones who lost their whole herd: "in a world where spirits are speaking to spirits, don't be normal."

The second service's testimonies included a man who had been sentenced to death by hanging on 30 July 2021, prayed through NSPPD on death row, and was discharged and acquitted on 30 July 2025. The pastor was visibly shaken. He spoke about "the weight of God's mercy", asked the church to pray for him for sixty seconds, and led a long prayer for mercy that rewrites stories. The third sermon was then short: John 5:1-9, the man at Bethesda, turned into five prayer points. Break any siege that made you common with the crowd. Break the pattern of "while I am coming, another steps down before me". Ask for a pathway of your own, because Jesus did not use the pool. Break the posture a long affliction gives you. And receive wholeness, not just healing: "Wilt thou be made whole?" reaches whatever the 38 years stole.

The last sermon was Luke 11:14-26. The dumb spirit silenced a man, and the pastor said it still works that way: it comes dressed as depression, sadness or feeling overwhelmed, so that you cry when you should pray. A kingdom divided against itself cannot stand, so do not declare in church and then visit the prophetess who asks for soap, salt or money. A strong man keeps his goods only until a stronger comes, and the next season will need you to be stronger. The returning spirit calls the man "my house", a house it was thrown out of. "It is God's house. It can never be the devil's house." The day ended with 56 babies from 54 families dedicated, plus wedding thanksgivings, businesses, properties and cars.

Theme and timing

• Theme in all four services: "The siege is broken." Streams of Joy Abuja, last Sunday of September and of the third quarter of 2025, held as a healing and deliverance service.
• The week's word on the altar: "God has settled it. I am in my new." Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 September are the last two days of the month; Wednesday is 1 October.
• 94 days remained in 2025 after this Sunday. "Your testimony will not be carried over into 2026."

Fasting and the week of prayer

• Monday is still the covenant day of fasting. They fast Monday and Tuesday, and again from Wednesday for the new month prayers, which run over more than one day. "When I see the size of your destiny I know that catfish will not take you there."
• Monday on NSPPD: operation acceleration, transition, great outpouring, no contention, new grounds, new territories added, new garments received, nothing missing nothing broken. He expected it to be "cataclysmic".
• Bring to Monday's NSPPD a written list of what you never want to see in your life again.

Next Sunday

• Theme for all four services on Sunday 5 October: "Operation clean up." "We are rising with a broom of fire" to sweep out every ordinance and pattern once the siege is broken.

WhatsApp channel

• Pastor Jerry Eze Prayer WhatsApp channel this week: transition and crossover prayers, "Nothing will stop me, I am crossing over." He said it would be "what has never happened before" on the channel.

Church life

• The midweek series "Understanding times and seasons" ended last Thursday. A new Word and Fire series starts this week: "The rise of glorious watchmen: no space for negativity", 6 p.m.
• Discipleship class: Monday 6 p.m. at the church premises.
• Maturity class for those who registered. He called it mandatory for leaders and said a leader who does not show up will be "deleted".
• Church building project ongoing, account details on the screen. The church currently meets under a canopy; the new building is "somewhere in the heart of Abuja" and will open soon. He told the parents of the babies that "it won't be long", and that it is "a land flowing with milk and honey".
• Devotional books, MP3s and ministry materials at the emporium; partnership forms and testimony forms at the inquiry desk.
• First timers, people choosing Streams of Joy as their church, and visitors from outside Nigeria were welcomed and prayed for. First timers were asked to fill in the usher's form.

Offering

• Offerings, tithe and partnership were raised as a wave offering in every service. In the first he called it "a seed of thanksgiving" for the last Sunday of the month. In the third he said "Mercy has gone to work again... be intentional with a seed in this service."

Dedications and thanksgivings (fourth service)

• 56 babies from 54 families, some from outside Nigeria (twins from Malawi among them), dedicated with a decree against autism, ADHD, Down syndrome and childhood disease, and a charge that "these children will be pattern breakers".
• Eight wedding thanksgivings, 15 businesses, 13 properties and 11 cars prayed over. He called the businesses and properties "multipliers".

Declarations over the week (as led each service)

• First service: Monday, the counsel of El Roy stands and every negative verdict is annulled; Tuesday, affliction will not rise a second time in my household; Wednesday, the snare is broken, "no more obscurity, I have global visibility"; Thursday, gates of brass broken and bars of iron cut; Friday, the siege of disease and disaster terminated; Saturday, the thief is caught, "vomit now my riches", restore with compensation.
• Second service: Tuesday, "touch not" over family, business, career, ministry and children; Thursday, reject every negative generational covenant and raise covenants of wealth, longevity, excellence, health and relevance; Saturday, "chosen of God, accepted by men... glorified by God, celebrated by men".
• Third service (transition week): Wednesday 1 October, "Lift up your heads, O you gates of October"; Friday, in the order of Jacob and of Paul, "great and effectual doors are open to me".
• Fourth service: Thursday, "It is not business as usual. It is Jesus as usual"; Friday, "I am of the altar of fire. It is in my CV... we don't miss seasons."
• Every service also recited the 2025 prophetic confession ("Nothing goes wrong around me. I walk in daily victory... My case is different. I have seen the God that sees me. El Roy.")

Testimonies (first service)

• A woman from Lagos (names called: "Shin Maka and Nicholas"): she prayed for her two children to be posted to Lagos for youth service, and both were. She then dreamed of Pastor Jerry five times, once shaking her hand at "Twin Kingdom" prayer conference. Her promotion was missing from the list, then arrived by email while she was booking an Uber around the Lagos prayer conference at Tafawa Balewa Square. On 12 August, in his birthday month, he prayed on NSPPD "there are too many prophecies over your life to end up as an echo... your head will swim... the angels announce you before you arrive". Before she reached the office that day, head office moved her up to a higher position that had no vacancy. Her younger sister had several miscarriages and two girls, joined the altar, and carried a baby boy to full term.
• An ordained Pentecostal pastor from Lagos, straight from the airport: his family's morning devotion is the 7 a.m. prayers. His degenerative disc disease and his son's ailment disappeared while the altar kept declaring it reversed. His PSA of 6 (prostate enlargement) "crashed down". The family gave a seven figure sum to the building project and later received eight figures twice. His son studying artificial intelligence was freed from an addiction after prayer and communion. His only daughter came home from boarding school showing symptoms of psychosis. In the car near Lekki Phase 1, during first service, the pastor spoke of "your second daughter". He thought "mine is my first daughter", and the next words were "someone just said in your heart, but mine is my first daughter: it is reversed." A neurology professor and a brain scan (caption "Urakia", likely Euracare, Lagos) found her brain perfect, and she is back in school. His third son, studying law, faced expulsion abroad. The word "your son will not be expelled" came, and he returns to school today.

Testimonies (second service)

• A young woman ("Odafia", uncertain): a friend at a Dubai real estate firm would be sacked for no sale in three months and complained NSPPD was "too noisy". She joined for September and made a large sale on 19 September. Her father's prostate enlargement was put on the altar. After the 17 March word, a doctor in April found it gone. On youth service in Abuja from December 2023 she was paid 10,000 naira. In June 2024 a family friend she had not spoken to in 10-15 years offered her a job, and the employer doubled the salary she asked for. Acute appendicitis diagnosed at her convocation (University of Uyo, likely) dissolved without surgery. When the pain returned she was at a Sunday service where he said "let it fall off", and it has not returned since November.
• Phillip (caption "Phillipama"): on 29 March 2017 an act of anger landed him in prison. He spent four years awaiting trial, with bail refused year after year. He had mocked prayer at university, and he had once paid a "prophet" who never came back. On 30 July 2021 he was sentenced to death by hanging and moved to maximum security death row. Inmates asked the prison authority for access to NSPPD on the prison television. In January 2025 he vowed "this 2025 I am leaving the prison" and kept the 21 day fast. On 28 February the word came, "you are listening from the prison... let the God of mercy deliver you". On 2 May it was "that case that turned against you will be revisited in this month of May". His appeal sat on 28 May, his son's birthday. He fed his written requests with communion, wrote a letter congratulating himself on his freedom dated 30 July 2025, and during the mid year week "Let the fire fall" walked the prison field seven times and prayed at its centre while inmates mocked him. On 30 July 2025 his lawyer came: discharged and acquitted, on the same date the death sentence was passed four years earlier. He has since ministered back in the prison and says NSPPD listeners are "all over the prison".

Testimonies (third and fourth services)

• Precious, now a barrister: she was depressed at law school until a colleague brought her on the church bus, where she heard the sermon on the bird escaping the fowler. After the February 2025 exams, a result with her name showed a conditional pass, and a man demanded money to "move" it. The word on 27 May was "the wrong result will not be released", and on 28 May "the negative report has been cancelled". The real result came on 1 August: second class upper. She was called to the bar on Thursday last week.
• A mother with a newborn: she was interceding for a friend who had waited five years for a child, and both of them conceived. Every earlier pregnancy had brought pregnancy induced hypertension and early low weight births. At eight months, during a fast, her pressure was about 190/106. The word came, "Why are you afraid? Can God bring to birth and not bring to delivery?", and her pressure normalised after the prayers. For the first time she reached 37 weeks and delivered by caesarean section a baby of 2.5 kg, healing swiftly. The naming ceremony was held at home, not in hospital. Her second son had been testified here in 2022 as brought back to life.
• A mother who flew in from Canada: her son studying in Canada lost his hair, fell into depression, and dropped in and out of school for five years. His study permit extension failed because she mistyped his email. An immigration consultant offered an "ungodly" route and said "maybe you are one of those that say what God cannot do does not exist". A refusal came declaring him out of status. At 1 a.m. her time on 6 August, during offering, the word was "that deportation is cancelled". By 10 a.m. the portal had reopened, the permit was approved two days later, and he graduated in April.
• Isioma, Streams of Joy East London, a temple keeper: she is the last of 12 siblings from Anambra State. A small evergreen tree worshipped as the family deity stood by the gate of her father's compound, and her siblings died one after another. On 5 March 2023 the word came: "Everybody in your immediate family has died, you are the only one alive... whoever is responsible, between midday and 2 p.m. tomorrow let the judgment of God come upon them", and her fear lifted. Her late mother had made her promise to honour whoever God used to expose the tree. On 16 February 2025, in the third service "I am an overcomer", the word said "that tree that is being worshipped in your father's compound... in 5 days let it dry up and fall." When she went home last week the tree was gone. Her brother's widow said it died toward the end of February.
• The pastor followed with "12 of them, 11 died when she did not know El Roy", and in the last service a prayer: "I'm not calling 5 days. I'm calling in the next one hour."

Words of knowledge / healing declarations

• First service: a brother with occasional attacks of mental illness whenever the family celebrates; a woman with cancer of the womb; three holes in the heart; "the people you used to give to are now the ones giving to you". Also prostate enlargement, a slipped disc (caption "your disc"), a spinal condition, breast and bone cancer, thrombocytopenia, blood clots, respiratory distress, autism and Down syndrome, cancer of the oesophagus (caption "fage"), organ failure, and powers killing the male members of a family, all declared reversed.
• Second service: a tumour on the chin; fluid in the lungs; microcytic anaemia; "the woman that told you your child was born blind"; epilepsy; Graves' disease (caption "graveside disease"); ovarian cyst (caption "Oian sister"); testicular or colon cancer; breast cancer; the family "black sheep" pattern; "you have not heard from them: you will hear the good news this week".
• Third service: creative miracles, with blind eyes opened, unequal limbs made equal and tumours gone; addiction, marital and sexual sieges broken; "from right now till another 72 hours, let the evidence of this prayer erupt".
• Fourth service: tumours, sickness of the blood and of the hormones, cancer, organ failure and kidney disease; thrones of witchcraft in the father's house; powers that target rising stars. At the close: "The Lord just reversed what the enemy meant to hit you tomorrow morning."

1. Freedom is God's design. The finished work of the cross already set you free, but you have to stand fast in it. Accepting what the devil says is "just how it is" reinforces the negativity, and God may have let the pattern reach you so that you are the one who breaks it.
2. The battle over your life is between the Lord and his adversaries, not between you and the devil. Align with God, refuse every thought that says God has abandoned you, and he will not be mocked over your life.
3. A siege can outlive its cause. Like the woman bowed for eighteen years, you can stay bent after the spirit has left, so take the word and the impartation that remind you who you are.
4. The attack-proof believer is seated at the feet of Jesus, clothed in their identity in Christ, and in their right mind, which is the mind of Christ. The devil is not afraid of an ignorant Christian, and most attacks rest on what you do not know or on what you agreed to in an unguarded moment.
5. Do not beg the devil, command him. Life is spiritual. When spirits talk to spirits, the people who chose to be "normal" pay for a battle they know nothing about.
6. Mercy overrules judgment. The death row acquittal was, in his words, the weight of God's mercy, and no one can tell God whom to show mercy to.
7. Jesus offers wholeness, not only healing: whatever the long years stole, and whatever posture they left you in, is part of what he restores. He can also make you a path that others did not have to take.
8. The dumb spirit hides behind depression, sadness and being overwhelmed. Speak, pray and declare, and practise "strategic silence" only toward people who have no solution.
9. A divided kingdom cannot stand. Your lifestyle has to match your declarations, so no second trips to places that sell soap, salt and "consultations".
10. New seasons call for greater strength, because the next level of favour attracts stronger opposition. Your life, your family and your father's house are God's house, never the devil's.

Today / this season

• Shout "The siege is broken" and "It will not happen again". Tell seven prophetic neighbours, then walk up to 14 people and say it in their ear.
• Pray in the Holy Ghost and command, do not beg, over every siege on family, finances, career and children.
• Refuse to agree with the enemy's verdict and guard what you think about (Philippians 4:8). When you pray, renounce anything you agreed to in an unguarded moment.
• Stay at the feet of Jesus: open the Bible, and do not miss midweek service or NSPPD.
• Do not stay silent in a hard season. Pray where you stand, not "when I reach the house".
• Keep your lifestyle consistent with the kingdom, and cut off prophetesses and practices that ask for items or money.
• Find two people around you who are not on the altar and bring them to NSPPD on Monday.
• Give offerings, tithe and partnership as a wave offering, and join the church building project.
• First timers and new members: fill in the usher's form and hand it in or drop it at the inquiry desk. Pick up a testimony form to testify next service.
