FURNACE OF ANSWERS [DAY 2]

Day 2 of Furnace of Answers, which Pastor Jerry calls the second day of the "global crusade" week. The stream opens with a recap reel of earlier altar moments: wheelchairs lifted as people walk, a word for women seeking the fruit of the womb ("the last period you saw is the last you will ever see"), "my Lazarus is not dead, wake up," a salvation call, and a promise that before 7:00 p.m. Nigerian time the Lord will show people that His hand is on their life. Worship then leans on Arroi ("when you don't know what to say, just shout Arroi"), a short work cut short in righteousness, the rod of strength out of Zion, and "let the fire fall" as on Carmel.

The prayer runs in movements. First, "fire has cleared the way," shouted back three times, then Samson's riddle: out of the eater came forth meat, out of the strong came forth sweetness, so whatever came to eat you must now produce your sweetness. He prays against battles transferred from parents to children and against untimely death. Then a word "the Lord placed in my spirit": Goliath had a shield bearer, and whatever blocks your prayers, your family members' hearing, or your career effort is a demonic shield that must go down. The axe head that fell into the water ("Alas, master, for it was borrowed") becomes the picture for sunk favour, appointments, immigration and marriage settlements: "it might be metal, but it will swim."

The centre of the day is Jesus cleansing the temple. "My Father's house shall be called a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of thieves": when there is no prayer, thieves move in, so "prayer and robbery are mutually exclusive." The congregation declares 14 times, then 7 times, then three more, "I am a house of prayer," answered by "No thief allowed," naming what the thief came for: joy, health, children, marriage, finances. As in Matthew 21, once the thieves were cleared the blind and lame came and were healed, so he ties the declaration to healing: "carry your evidence."

A long round of words of knowledge follows (see below), each with "if you are the one, put it on the live stream; the devil is a liar, let it be reversed," then intercession for loved ones trapped in false "churches," a mantle of speed for those overtaken by their mates, and the anointing of whatever oil people are using. He lays out Psalm 89 (the servant anointed with holy oil), the eagles' wings of Exodus 19 ("as I was dealing with them, I was carrying you higher"), and "He shall choose our inheritance for us." Everyone shakes off "whatever my heavenly Father has not planted, from my head to my toes," then kneels to prepare a seed of thanksgiving: "This is not an ordinary day."

Pastor Jerry calls what happened "an inferno." Testimonies follow: a Jamaican couple released from jail, an Atlanta woman whose breast calcification came back benign, a lecturer now provost of a college of education, and a psychiatric nurse practitioner whose heart diagnosis reversed and whose breast lump burst open. The announcements close with the Ghana conference, the testimony line, salvation, three communions, social media, the week's fast, and an "I am dwelling in the secret place" declaration from Psalm 91. The day's cry, in his words: "I am a house of prayer. No thief allowed."

Testimonies played / recapped

• Mrs. Dawkins, Jamaica: she and her husband were accused and jailed on 14 August. Her husband asked her to send a prayer request before they were handcuffed; she prayed to be released before Pastor Jerry's birthday. She was released on the 22nd and her husband on the 23rd.
• Dorothy, Atlanta, Georgia: a routine women's checkup in May led to a mammogram showing calcification of the right breast "suggestive of cancer," with biopsy and minor surgery set for 22 August. On 20 August, at 1:40:43 in the stream, she caught the words "carcinoma" and "calcification" and warred with them. The stereotactic biopsy came back benign breast tissue, negative for atypia or malignancy: "no trace of cancer cell in my body."
• Lecturer, now Provost (Nigeria): on a Sunday he said God is taking gatekeepers in this house to strategic leadership positions; she prayed it over the education sector. A call came while she was on a friend's farm buying waterleaf, asking her to submit documents. She stood on birthday week words ("I may not be their choice, but they will give it to me; angels carry my name," 12 August; "the throne is already mine," 8:05 a.m., Thursday 14 August) and, obeying the call to record a video in advance, announced that was her last day as an ordinary lecturer. She is now Provost of Abia State College of Education (Technical).
• Psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, testifying in person: came for two weeks when Pastor Jerry turned 40 (2022) while moving from registered nurse to psychiatric nurse practitioner. Passed the exam first sitting, wearing her mantles in the test cubicle ("Arroi, it's you and I"), and is starting a private practice this week. Before an elective surgery this year an EKG stress test showed left ventricular hypertrophy, what her father died of; Pastor Jerry named "left ventricular hypertrophy" on the altar and the cardiologist found nothing wrong. A growing breast lump (a family history of breast, colon and brain cancer) burst open in the shower the day he prayed "every lump dissolve." She blessed him: "You are an eagle flying ... nobody can stop you."

1. Prayer and robbery are mutually exclusive. Jesus said the house of prayer had become a den of thieves: thieves live where prayer is absent. To be a house of prayer is to give angels permission to "enter and chase out whatever does not look like communication between God and me." Prayerlessness is what lets the devil steal.
2. It is an error to pray and still be robbed. Things hiding in the corners of your house, your emotions, marriage, tissue, blood and career cannot stay where prayer fire is generated.
3. Fire has cleared the way. God defines Himself as a consuming fire; when the fire fell on Carmel, Baal's prophets were finished. Walls collapse and doors open.
4. The strong will yield sweetness. What came to devour you will be made to produce your meat and your sweetness.
5. Shields must go down. Goliath's shield bearer pictures whatever blocks prayers, words to family, and effort; "every stone I am throwing is entering."
6. What sank will swim. Like the borrowed axe head, lost favour, appointments and settlements will surface; "I am not taking no for an answer."
7. God chooses your inheritance and lifts you while He deals with your enemies, as He carried Israel on eagles' wings while judging Egypt.
8. You are not in that genealogy. What happened to parents and relatives is not in your bloodline; no negativity will be transferred to your generation.
9. Mercy interrupts judgment, and every area of life can begin to work at the same time; the rejected stone becomes the chief cornerstone.
