WELCOME TO A NEW SEASON

WELCOME TO A NEW SEASON || SUNDAY SERVICE || 29THJUNE 2025

Welcome to a new season: hear the sound of abundance of rain, show yourself, keep the fire before the rain, keep your head between your knees and go back until the cloud rises, nothing missing and nothing broken from July to December.

Auto-generated YouTube captions (about 9 hours, four Sunday services at Streams of Joy Abuja). Names, numbers and some verse wording are reconstructed from ASR.

Summary

This was the last Sunday of June 2025 at Streams of Joy Abuja, the eve of a 14-day fast and two days before 1 July, "the first day of the second half of 2025". The stream carries all four services. Each opens in praise, a declaration for every day of the coming week, and a long prophetic prayer, then the message, the offering, the notices for the fast, and the welcome of first timers and new members. The thread through the whole day is that the second half of the year is not "a second half" but a new season: "Welcome to a new season. Prophesy it into the atmosphere. The portals are open."

The opening prayer in the first service turns on "turn again" (Psalm 126 and the word to Hezekiah). The church calls out the months, "July to December", while the altar breaks every "garment of the old" from January to June (limitation, failure, fear, anxiety, affliction, disease, evil covering) and orders territorial powers to "let them go": health, children, finances, career. Breast cancer, a rejection email, a negative ECG and "multiple heart attacks without you knowing it" are reversed, and a family member who brought poison "will come and confess to you" in 48 hours. The worship song of the day, "I am dancing around, I am turning around to my father and my lover ... as I dance, every other thing is turning around", is sung in every service.

Pastor Jerry preached from 1 Kings 18 in three services. In the first he started from Genesis 1:14: the first time "seasons" appears in Scripture it is tied to light, so "when there is no light, there are no new seasons", and we are light "not just because of identity" but "because of responsibility". Then Elijah: God promised rain, Elijah heard "the sound of abundance of rain", and abundance is what fell. Sight never takes you to your reality; sound does, because faith comes by hearing. The rain will not benefit those who never expected it, those with no seed in the ground, or those who use it as an excuse not to labour. Elijah did not check the rain, he checked his head ("between his knees"), and he taught his servant one thing: "Go back", seven times. He told the church that in prayer the night before the Lord said "Tell them there will be rain. You don't need to have faith. In 40 days, some of you, it will be less than 40 days."

In the second service the same chapter became "Show yourself unto Ahab, and I will send rain": your hiding is "shortcutting" your rain, "lack of rain is absence of men", and the devil fears the one who shows up anyway. He added that fire comes before rain: the fire on Carmel fell on Elijah's sacrifice, not on the 450 prophets of Baal, and killing the prophets of Baal is a distraction if the rain has not come. "An attack on my fire is a sabotage on my rain." Elijah "prayed again" (James 5:17-18) and controlled the season. He went to tell Ahab what he heard, not what he saw. In the third service the question was "How do I know my season is changing?": the word of the Lord comes, God sends you to confront what you are afraid of, you take a posture, you keep a consistent prayer life, and God raises you a man. He listed seven signs and told of a man spared from a murder plot because, eight years earlier, he gave a stranger 8,000 naira.

The fourth service took Genesis 41:14-39, Joseph before Pharaoh. A new season is governed more by understanding than by revelation; the seven lean cows ate the seven fat ones, so "your dryness will eat up your abundance" and "it takes a fat spirit to carry a fat abundance"; the man for the season is "discreet and wise", so do not talk too much; and Joseph's answer was "an answer of peace", nothing missing and nothing broken. That service ended with the dedication of 46 babies from 44 families, plus asset dedications and wedding thanksgivings.

Testimonies were long and many: a young woman whose whole family was healed on the altar, Patricia (a stroke and night attacks gone), Joy (from 11 years stuck to assistant manager at six times the salary), Judith (her mother revived, 11 years of delay ended in passing the nursing exam), O. Praise (survived the night armed men killed his neighbour in Apo Resettlement Zone E), Florence, Bukumi, Shalom (married after illnesses healed), a woman from Lagos (five miscarriages and a stillbirth, now a daughter, Elana) and Jessica, who flew in from Denmark with the son doctors said had chromosomal abnormalities. Every service closed with Psalm 91:1-2 and a charge to walk up to 14 people and shout "I am in my new season", "My rain has come" or "Glory".

  • The church gathers every day at 5:30 p.m. at the church to close the fast, plus mornings on the altar of fire.
  • The first five days: "Operation crossover to the other side" and "Operation stop the stoppers", with sub-themes: scatter negativity; evil will not cross over; let everything align; the Lord has given you a new garment; celebration and congratulation; a glorious new you has emerged; divine emergence.
  • Week themes (scriptures shown on screen, to be posted on social media): Monday "Shake it off" ("they fall off by fire"); Tuesday "Better, higher, greater"; Wednesday "My help has come"; Thursday "Stop the stoppers"; Friday "Exempted, protected, covered"; Saturday "The new has come"; Sunday "And the Lord reversed it".

  • Assets (cars, property) were dedicated and couples blessed in wedding thanksgiving.

Testimonies (Streams of Joy Abuja)

  • Young woman introduced to the altar by Chino Jeremiah (service 2): brought her whole family. Father healed of prostate enlargement; mother healed of fibroid without surgery; brother, listening to NSPPD in a bus, walked out of a "ghastly" accident without a scratch; she was healed of hypothyroidism (swelling on the throat gone), moved into a ready-furnished apartment, and celebrated her birthday.
  • Patricia (Etopa?), Delta State: woke unable to move with what she calls a stroke; the clinic found nothing; she lay at the altar at Streams of Joy and it went without drugs. In a dream three women from her family tried to break her leg "that I'm using to go to church" until "Papa" said "leave her and let her go". A recurring night pressing on her body ended at a declaration. Shot in the back in a dream while recovering her family's star, she woke in pain, used her mantle, communion and olive oil, and was healed at the NSPPD prayer conference in Lagos. Now up at 5:30 a.m. for prayer.
  • Joy: after miscarriages, a baby born in October 2020 (testified before). At the 2023/2024 crossover she pulled her car date forward to 15 January and bought a car that month with 600,000 naira she did not yet have. Stuck 11 years in a job with no progress, she carried a company's logo for 21 days, left it on the altar, got a rejection mail, and cried "Arroi, where is my job?" At last Sunday's service the pastor said "a king will send for you ... that email you are waiting for, before 24 hours it will enter". On Monday evening the mail came; she is now assistant manager at six times the salary, resuming Tuesday, her 11 years counted as experience.
  • Judith (service 3): her mother collapsed in hospital in November; Judith and her sisters did the 1 a.m. prayer and her father called at 2:30 to say she had died and come back to life. Her husband's severe stomach pain went after prayer and the scan was clear. After 11 years of delay she registered with the nursing council (joined NSPPD October 2023), failed one paper twice, was hit by a bus the day before her final attempt, finished 250 questions with 27 minutes left while "the time was stagnant", and passed. Now a Nigerian qualified nurse.
  • O. Praise, web app and software designer (service 3): at about 10 p.m. one Monday, over 20 armed men killed his neighbour, a young doctor, with a machete outside their compound in Apo Resettlement Zone E (Abuja). From 10 p.m. to about 1 a.m. they banged on his doors and opened a window; he hid beside the bed whispering "Arroi, what God cannot do doesn't exist". Police withdrew; a military general's escort drove them off with tear gas. He may move to Lagos.
  • Anthony Wilson was also called up in service 3; his testimony is not legible in the captions.
  • Florence (service 4): after appendix surgery in pregnancy, sepsis left her wound open and cleaned daily; the day after a word about surgical complications it closed. Told she needed ovarian cyst surgery before conceiving, she prayed "change ovarian cyst to baby", was pregnant two weeks after a word, had her smoothest pregnancy and named the baby Elroy.
  • Bukumi (service 4): a fibroid with red degeneration in pregnancy, painkillers (diclofenac) daily; after one night of crying to God the pain never returned. Later scans could not find the fibroid; she was told she would need a caesarean but delivered normally at 41 weeks, the baby healthy.
  • Shalom (service 4, meters and greeters): after years of disappointments (one in 2019 nearly took her life) and ovarian cysts, endometriosis, fibroid, ascites and an umbilical hernia (she is "the young lady that menstruates through the navel" the pastor used to mention), she was delivered on this altar. Her husband proposed on 6 November 2023 and stayed after she told him everything. Traditional marriage 18 April 2025, civil wedding 5 June, all concluded 14 June.
  • A woman from Lagos (probably Princess, service 4): married 2020; five miscarriages from 2021 with a recurring dream of a woman in white breaking an egg on her village road, fibroid surgery in July 2022, a stillbirth. She joined NSPPD online, refused a family friend's offer of a native doctor, anointed her body through the January fast, was healed of hormonal imbalance after a word, then fasted 6 to 6 through her birthday week after a word about a seven-day fast. In her fourth month she broke the egg in a dream. Her daughter Elana was born on 25 December 2024, the date she had told God.
  • Jessica, flew in from Denmark (service 4): married 2013, five failed IVF cycles and a loss at 20 weeks (cervical incompetence). She gave Arroi three months of 2023, dressed and photographed "the way you want to be addressed", and on 28 February at a doctor's appointment claimed a baby when the pastor said "angels are giving out babies"; she conceived naturally. Bleeding, a cerclage, then a 20-week scan reading chromosomal abnormalities (trisomy 21 or 18 feared), seven doctors urging her to end it. A morning prayer word in June ("Go back and check what they saw before. They will not see it again") was followed two days later by a call: "Your baby is normal ... It's a boy." Gestational hypertension and diabetes did not touch him. The doctor who saw her first and last told her "your baby is a miracle". The boy is a year and seven months old.

Testimonies played / recapped

  • The woman in Port Harcourt who shouted "Arroi, where is my phone?": the pastor says many have since harvested babies and open doors with the same cry.
  • The pastor's story: a man told him that a young man sent to kill him called him, with receipts, to say he would not do it because eight years earlier the man had given him 8,000 naira outside an eatery.
  • Pastor Jerry's own job interview moving from a World Bank project to the United Nations: he did not understand the question, opened his mouth anyway, and everyone clapped.

Words of knowledge / healing declarations

  • Service 1: breast cancer, leave now; a rejection email reversed; "where they call you a stranger, dominate there"; a negative ECG reversed; multiple heart attacks you did not know about; a family member who brought poison "that did not hurt you" will confess in 48 hours; the siege on your company removed; "they see you, but they don't see you", broken; the key of your city and nation handed over.
  • Service 1, on the sermon: in prayer he saw people who had outgrown where they are by 12, 15 or 20 years, held by the heels by ordinances spoken in secret. "Loose them and let them go."
  • Service 2: cyclic vomiting syndrome; open wounds sealing; powers inhibiting the gifts of the Holy Ghost; perforated intestine; left-sided paralysis; diabetes and hypertension; hormonal imbalance; dryness in your relationship with God. In the message: a tumour on your chest disappears; two marriages ended in divorce and a third threatened, reversed; "three of your children's genotype are sickle cell", reversed; any permanent-looking name the doctors called you.
  • Service 3: "your battles are over" and will not have the outcome they presumed; every Ahab, system or person, that says your rain will not come while it remains; a cancer report and autism to confront; evil ordinances answered by fire "in 24 hours"; every court case ends in your favour; spiritual dwarfs rise like giants; the siege of premature death broken; blood covenants broken.
  • Timed words: rain "in 40 days, some of you less than 40" (service 1); "in 3 days we will celebrate your testimony of showing up" (service 2); "things will happen for you in one hour" this fast week (service 2); "by Monday morning you will have an unmistakable shout of joy" (service 3); "by this time next month you will understand the reason for this prayer" (dedication).

Important message

  1. The second half of 2025 is a new season, not a continuation. God's desire is never to leave you where you were, and he never does a new thing with an old mindset.
  2. Seasons are tied to light. Revelation, God's presence and the light God made you are what open a season; you are light by responsibility, so the darkness where you stand is yours to light up.
  3. Reality is formed from the ears to the eyes. Faith comes by hearing, so what you keep hearing decides whether you move; between what God said ("rain") and what you see, amplify it to "abundance of rain".
  4. The rain will not help those who never expected it, those with no seed in the ground, or those who use it as an excuse not to labour. Sow before you see the rain.
  5. Show yourself. Your hiding, through guilt, failure or fear, is holding back your rain. "Lack of rain is absence of men." The devil is not afraid of your mistakes; he is afraid that you showed up.
  6. Fire before rain. The fire fell on Elijah's sacrifice; the prophets of Baal are a distraction from the rain. "An attack on my fire is a sabotage on my rain." Reactive prayer fights Baal while the rain hangs.
  7. Posture is everything. Elijah checked his head, not the rain; "if you don't lose your posture, reality will respond to your posture". Men like Elijah prayed and controlled the season; your prayer season is a rain season.
  8. Declare what you heard, not what you saw. Elijah told Ahab to prepare his chariot on a report of a hand-sized cloud.
  9. How you know seasons are changing: the word comes, you are sent to confront what you fear, you take a posture, you keep a consistent prayer life, God raises you a man, and processes do not validate it but the result comes. Seasons change whether you receive the word or not; grab the word so you are not the victim of someone else's season.
  10. God changes seasons for a purpose: to end famine and to glorify Jesus, not to prove you right.
  11. Understanding matters more than revelation. God will bring answers in packages you must discern. Dryness in prayer and in the Spirit will eat up abundance, and it takes a fat spirit, a heart enlarged by the word, to carry a fat abundance.
  12. The person the season needs is discreet and wise. Joseph kept dreaming but stopped talking about it. And God's answer is shalom: nothing missing and nothing broken; if the devil cannot make it miss, he tries to make it break.

What he asks of us

Today / this season

  • Turn again: refuse the status quo and reject every garment of the old from January to June. Shout "July to December".
  • Ask yourself "What am I hearing?" and stop listening to fear and impossibility.
