OH LORD SHOW ME MERCY IN JUNE// [JUNE SPECIAL NEW MONTH PRAYERS - DAY 3]

Day 3 of the June special new month prayers opened with worship around "What you cannot do does not exist" and "With you nothing is impossible". Pastor Jerry then recounted two wonders from three weeks earlier. During the 7am prayers he gave a word that someone was sitting beside a dead woman and should turn up the phone volume and place it beside her. The mother had been confirmed clinically dead hours before; when the prayer ended nothing happened and the daughter felt God had disappointed her, but five minutes later the mother came back to life. In the second story, a woman's husband had brain surgery for cancer and the doctor said he would be unconscious for six months and might never walk. She answered, "What God cannot do does not exist," went to the ICU a few hours later and called his name, and he opened his eyes. When staff were removing the window blinds to pass his stretcher out, he stood up on his feet. "We are in a season of a revival of the strange acts of God."

The prayer that followed was a long cry for mercy over the 30 days of June: "Arroi, show me mercy. 30 days of June, my father, show me mercy. I cannot fight this battle on my own." He prayed to the "God of my journey" whose mercy goes ahead, that men, the wicked, infirmity and iniquity would not prevail, that God would revive His work in the middle of the year, and that the horses, horsemen and swords men trust in had failed but God saves by mercy. "When your mercy comes there is deliverance, healing, newness, access, a change of identity; the heavens are open." He closed that stretch pleading the blood of Jesus: "I may not be worthy of your mercy, but father, remember the blood."

Words of knowledge followed, each with "If you are the one, put it on the live stream. The devil is a liar. Let it be reversed." They covered cancers, blood disorders, a newborn with heart failure, a woman in her 30s who went blind suddenly at work, a person whose memory lasts only 24 hours, and believers who had lost their spiritual fire. People then placed everything they wanted mercy on beside their device. Pastor K declared mercy ("Some trust in horses and chariots"), and Pastor Jerry led everyone on their knees to name three areas where they need a new name, then declared "Take your new name": within 24 hours people will call you by a new name. A fresh word came: "Rule in the midst of your enemies, help has come," announced as a new two-day prayer. Before the seed, everyone prophetically wiped their eyes with their mantle ("bitter tears have been wiped away"), and the seed was marked "instant mercy intervention".

Testimonies played: a young man in Lagos delivered from addiction to crack cocaine and other drugs he also made and sold; Comfort (Benin City) married after 18 years of single motherhood; Veronica's husband cleared of stage four adenocarcinoma; and Justina from Liberia, healed of triple negative invasive breast carcinoma. Pastor Jerry stressed that "the greatest miracle is the miracle of a changed life" and that this is the reason for NSPPD.

The service closed with the salvation prayer, a three part communion, testimony channels, the Reversed by Fire series on the WhatsApp channel, the America conference, and the prophetic word for the day, shouted together: "Divine mercy has prevailed." Pastor K and a second minister responded, and the congregation declared Psalm 91 before the final congratulations.

Testimonies played / recapped

• Recap, clinically dead mother (three weeks earlier): after a word of knowledge, the daughter put the phone on loud beside her mother, who had been confirmed clinically dead. Nothing happened when the prayer ended, but five minutes later the mother came back to life.
• Recap, brain cancer surgery: the doctor said the husband would be unconscious for six months and might never walk, and complained to the brother-in-law about the wife's "What God cannot do does not exist". Hours after surgery she called his name in the ICU and he woke; when staff were removing the window blinds to move his stretcher, he stood up.
• Young man, Lagos: smoking since about 2012, orphaned young; from 2021 on crack cocaine, which he learned to make and sell, then "Colorado", "Canadian loud", crystal meth and others, spending over 30,000 naira a day and unable to eat without smoking. A consistent NSPPD member since 2022, he was delivered this year; the smell of smoke now makes him want to vomit. He now studies the Bible, prays daily and forwards the prayer to 50-60 WhatsApp contacts each morning. He asked for a Streams of Joy church in Lagos.
• Comfort Solomon (surname uncertain, "Calio"), Benin City, Edo State: an 18 year marriage of violence ended in 2006 after a night threat with a knife; she raised her 2 year old daughter alone, was jobless four years, sold tickets at a motor park, then joined the Nigerian Air Force. Mocked even in church. Joined NSPPD in 2022; in August 2022 Pastor Jerry broke the curse "if I don't marry you nobody will marry you". In September 2022 a pastor friend connected her with Solomon; traditional marriage 29 December 2023, white wedding 13 January 2024. Her husband cares for her deeply, and at work the insults ended and even her boss now greets her with respect: "God took my enemies unawares."
• Veronica, for her husband: diagnosed with adenocarcinoma, reported spread through the body and stage four. She held on to Pastor Jerry's word "adenocarcinoma reversed" and "nothing will escape"; the follow-up test found nothing. He is free from cancer.
• Justina Dennis Wana (spelling uncertain), Liberia: joined NSPPD in March 2023 through her sister Christine in the US. Two months later a lump in her left breast was diagnosed as cancer; in South Africa the oncologist found triple negative invasive carcinoma in three lymph nodes. She held on to the words over breast cancer and triple negative cancer, and "what they saw before they will not see again". After surgery on 5 July 2024 the tissue showed no trace of cancer; at the April follow-up the doctor said "Go and live your life, there is no trace of cancer." Her husband, she discovered, had been quietly watching NSPPD too. Her prayer life is changed.

1. What God cannot do does not exist. The woman who told the doctor that, and called her husband's name hours after brain surgery, is the pattern for June: faith that acts now.

3. Our own horses, horsemen and swords (effort, labor, strength, institutions) fail; God saves by mercy. When His mercy comes there is deliverance, healing, newness, access, a change of identity and an open heaven.

7. The greatest miracle is a changed life; that is the real reason for NSPPD.
8. Divine mercy has prevailed.
