'THE HAND OF THE LORD IS AT WORK' SERVICE

'THE HAND OF THE LORD IS AT WORK' SERVICE || SUNDAY SERVICE || 27TH APRIL 2025

There is a covenant over your life and the hand of the Lord is at work, so put what is in your hand into His, let Him carry you in the Spirit, speak His word, and give it life, because you will not end April the way you are.

Auto-generated YouTube captions (en-orig) of the whole-day Sunday live at Streams of Joy Abuja, about 8 hours and four services. Names, numbers and some verse wording are reconstructed from ASR and marked where uncertain.

Summary

This was the Thanksgiving Sunday that closed April 2025, run as four back-to-back services under one theme: "The Hand of the Lord Is at Work." Each service opened with worship, a week of declarations (Monday to Saturday) and the 2025 confession to El Roi, "the God that sees me" ("Heaven and earth, my case is different. I have seen the God that sees me"). Pastor Jerry then led a fire prayer session and preached a separate message on the hand of the Lord. He framed the coming week as the transition week that hands April over to May, with five days on the altar titled "The Great and Mighty Works of El Roi: All Round Settlement."

The day's cry, repeated in every service: "The hand of the Lord is at work." He explained that "hand" in Scripture is a picture of God's might, power and majesty, shown in steps: the finger of God (Exodus 8), the hand (Exodus 9), the arm (Psalm 44, acted out with a doctor in the congregation as "from the shoulder to the elbow", the arm used in a fight) and the outstretched arm (Jeremiah's "I myself will fight against you with an outstretched hand"), which reaches places your own hand cannot. "Never undermine the hand of the Lord ... the hand of the Lord is not shortened."

First service (1 Kings 13:1-6): "This is not the hand of the Lord." Jeroboam built a wicked altar at Bethel, the place Jacob had named the house of God. A life called by God's name must not host what does not look like God: "Pack your load ... get out." Between the hand of the Lord and its manifestation, God looks for a man (Ezekiel among the dry bones). God wants no altar that is only a heap of ashes. And a king with a title but no word was made irrelevant by an unnamed prophet who had the word of the Lord. Second service: finger, hand, arm and outstretched arm, then five marks of the hand of the Lord: focus on assignment (Ezekiel), speed that makes a statement that evil will not stay ahead (Elijah outrunning Ahab), empowerment ("Thou anointest my head with oil and my cup runneth over": ask to be empowered, not just for an overflowing cup), war against stubborn challenges (Pharaoh), and multiplication of whatever you place in His hand (five loaves and two fish). Third service (Luke 13:10-17): "There is a covenant over my life." The bent woman never saw Jesus and never cried out; Jesus saw her because she was "a daughter of Abraham." People who oppose what God is doing for you become His adversaries, and the "spirit of infirmity" became "thine infirmity" only once she accepted it: "It's not my own." Fourth service (Ezekiel 37:1-10): "Give it life." The hand of the Lord carried Ezekiel "in the spirit of the Lord", so your transport matters ("your boarding pass is valid, but you are in the wrong bus"). The hand of the Lord is activated by the word of the Lord. God, who breathed into Adam, told Ezekiel to call the breath himself, so wherever God has placed you (family, marriage, business, assignment), your job is to give it life.

Ministry ran through every service: fire prayers that "the hand of the Lord" dash into pieces delay, stagnation, witchcraft and infirmity, and words of knowledge (fibroids, breast cancer, epilepsy, anaemia, fluid on the heart, kidney failure, a son gone blind, kidney stones, holes in the heart, bone cancer). People were called to the altar to declare the theme seven times, told to "walk up to 14 persons" and shout it, and in the first service told by the Lord to wait on Him Monday to Wednesday.

There were testimonies in services two to four: three answers from one 2024 crossover list, glaucoma gone after communion in the eyes, a daughter in the US unhurt in a drunk-driver crash, haemorrhoids gone without surgery, a family's August death pattern broken, a Sierra Leonean sister spared a pacemaker, a scam victim taken from minus 69 dollars to a top global bank, a German study visa, an Irish sponsorship, a 12-year US immigration delay ended, and a man from Uganda alive three years after a stage 4 lung cancer prognosis. Each service closed with offerings, the week's announcements, welcomes for first timers and new members (a Zimbabwe delegation in the first service, guests from abroad prayed for at the altar in the fourth) and the Psalm 91 confession.

Information given

Theme and timing

  • Sunday service, Streams of Joy Abuja, Thanksgiving Sunday, "the last Sunday in the month of April." Theme: "The Hand of the Lord Is at Work." Four services in one stream; Jerry Eze preached a different message in each.
  • This week on the altar (NSPPD): "Five days of the Great and Mighty Works of El Roi: All Round Settlement." It is the transition week from April into May (Thursday is 1 May).
  • Operations for the week: mountains shift, dealing with hidden battles, soaring on eagle's wings, the time for the season to change has come, let the testimony manifest, grace for elevation. There will be special prophetic prayers over families and a special impartation service.
  • Weekly declarations were spoken in each service, among them: "By the hand of God I am now in my rightful place in destiny"; "It is my coronation season"; "My family and I have crossed over to the other side"; (second service) "That complex immigration challenge was unraveled by El Roi"; "The hand of the Lord is heavy on my enemies ... smote them with tumours"; (third) "By the hand of the Lord my five loaves and two fishes have multiplied"; "Restoration with compensation"; (fourth) "The hand of the Lord has given me the keys of the kingdom"; "I will not lose what the hand of the Lord has given me."

Offering

  • Every service took offerings, tithes and partnership as a wave offering: "Let the blessings of those who have honored the Lord ... be your portion. The devourer is rebuked for your sake."

First timers and new members

  • First-time worshippers were asked to fill the usher's form "for two reasons: we want to get across to you and we want to keep you in our prayers." Those choosing Streams of Joy as their church were prayed for ("whatever runs in the prophetic DNA of our ministry, let the same run in your own life").
  • First service: a delegation from Zimbabwe; Pastor Jerry recalled saying in Zambia that they might come to Zimbabwe.
  • Fourth service: a guest Pastor Jerry called his friend and brother, a pastor who is chairman of the EFCC (caption "Pastor Olanik be"; likely Ola Olukoyede), was welcomed. Visitors from outside Nigeria were called out and prayed for: "You will not return back the way you came ... I will mark your face, you are the one that came on 27th of April." Visitors from Uganda, Canada and Freetown were among them. Pastor Jerry promised to come to Uganda and mentioned fast NSPPD growth in Kenya and Southern Africa.

Testimonies played / recapped

Second service

  • A sister (Deborah, per the caption introduction) joined NSPPD at the 2023 crossover and wrote 31 requests; 27 answered. Back-to-back weddings in 2024: elder sister (March), elder brother (April), younger sister (November). Recurring pain around her right eye stopped after she dropped communion water into her eyes. A gang of about 30 robbers attacked every house on her street but passed hers ("let's go and kill this dog in these people's house"). A 2024 accident left nothing broken. In 2025 her younger sister's labour lasted about 15 hours; on 8 April she took the word "the hand of God that pulled Peter ... pulls us out" and "you will not cry over that which you have prayed and thanked God for", and mother and baby are safe. She told of prophesying to herself on the altar and of following Pastor Jerry to Streams of Joy. She urged people not to joke with the "ask me anything" atmosphere on the altar.
  • A father (Phillip, per the caption introduction), a single parent for 11 years since his wife died. His daughter finished a master's in the US; her student visa expired, but last September she got a work permit and a better job. On a Thursday night he felt led to pray the "O earth" prayer for his children ("you will not receive my body or the body of my children"); on Friday a drunk driver pushed her car into another, and she came out unhurt.
  • Sister "Opera Solange" (caption), whose birthday is tomorrow, was diagnosed with glaucoma in 2022 with high eye pressure, swelling and blurred vision; her left eye was said to be 70% damaged and she was told she would take drops for life. She applied communion to her eyes morning and night. At an October checkup (hospital in Wuse Zone 5, as captioned) the doctor said she has no glaucoma. She has used none of the drugs for six months.

Third service

  • Promise (Chuka Promise): a growth in the anal area from 30 January was called a skin tag, then haemorrhoids, across three hospitals. She held on to words of knowledge on 4 February ("haemorrhoids then anal cancer, reversed"), 19 February ("tumours are disappearing"), 23 February, fourth service ("the surgery will not hold") and 9 March ("haemorrhoids have disappeared"). The doctor insisted on surgery; she asked for two weeks. The growth shrank and has now disappeared, with no surgery.
  • Antonia (from Italy, name per caption) joined in October 2021. Her family had a pattern of a death every August: of 10 children, 5 remain, and her sister and father died of stroke. Her mother has now survived two strokes (last August and two Sundays ago) after the "O earth" prayer, with "nothing missing, nothing broken." After the open-grave prayer on 17 October she had suicidal thoughts; on the 18th she swallowed more than 50 tablets, but simply slept through the day and woke up. The thoughts have gone.
  • Fatmata Sama (from Sierra Leone, spoken largely in Krio): sick for more than 10 years after a dream where she ate macaroni that turned to worms, with throat torment, weakness and darkened skin; tests in Ghana found nothing. Taking communion "flushed" it out. Then came heart palpitations, and a doctor proposed a pacemaker. She kept taking communion; at a test around her 25 November birthday the doctor saw "something different." No pacemaker, and a confirmation visit is due in May. Pastor Jerry noted that 27 April is Sierra Leone's independence day and said they are coming there before the end of the year.
  • Francis (from the US; caption "Hola Odogu"):
    • His mother had rheumatoid arthritis from 2020. She could not stand, eat or bathe, her fingers curled, and UK doctors could not help. He sent the video to the terminal disease email on 23 March 2023. By December she was unrecognisably well, and today she takes no pain medication at all.
    • He was scammed on 29 June 2022 in an investment that took his whole family to "ground zero", millions of dollars, leaving him with minus 69 dollars. He drove Uber and refused a rich man's offer of support in exchange for sleeping with him: "Let me go to God and fetch from His streams of wealth."
    • After fasting from 1 July 2024, at the Wednesday "Oh Lord, show me mercy" prayer on 7 August 2024 he received a "less than 24-hour turnaround" word. The next morning one of the world's top 3-5 banks invited him to interview. On 14 August came "you have been chosen."
    • On 10 September, praying, he rebuked a loud voice telling him to go back to that man. That evening he had missed calls and an email: "Congratulations, you've been chosen," at over 200% of his old pay.
    • He had laid hands on the bank's grounds in an "O earth" prayer and taken a stone to return as an employee. On 3 January he made a serious mistake and faced a panel on 7 January; after an altar word ("that mistake the devil wants to use to reduce you"), his manager apologised to him instead.
    • He read a personal word about growth over comparison, and pledged his first salary to the building project.

Fourth service

  • Eruth Zoe (caption "Erut Zoe"), for her brother: he waited 22 months for a German study visa. At the interview on 25 February 2025 his documents were flung back twice and his bank's proof of funds had not arrived. The family held on to a word given "1 hour 18 minutes 48 seconds" into that morning's prayer ("they will see favour ... you will hear yes"). He was sent to a different room, then got a threatening call the next day, but the bank released the proof. His passport was stamped on 10 March, his birthday. He is now in Germany.
  • Winnie Fred (former Streams of Joy inquiry department, now in Dublin, Ireland): master's in digital marketing and analytics, graduated November 2023, entry-level insurance job from April 2024. She faced a performance improvement plan, passed three professional exams at once, and turned down a job without sponsorship. After 21 February ("all doors are open, the angels are moving with your CV") a recruiter reached out on LinkedIn on 24 February. She got the job and negotiated the salary back up to the first offer, about 20,000 more as she had prayed at crossover, with the start moved to 1 May 2025 so she could travel to Nigeria. On 18 March ("all uncompleted projects are being completed") HR emailed that they will sponsor her visa. She asked Pastor Jerry to come to Dublin.
  • Adobe (joined NSPPD on 2 June 2024, the day before her birthday): a 12-year US visa delay. On the last Friday of May she saw an email setting her interview for July. She got the visa, travelled in September 2024, received a 10-year residence within a month, met her husband ("my odogwu showed up") and scored 98% in a nursing exam. She said it was "not because I am perfect."
  • A sister living in Sweden (name unclear in captions): her brother was saved from a stray bullet in 2021. On 14 February she got food poisoning that twisted her intestines and needed emergency surgery; a week later a second operation was scheduled. A word on NSPPD ("you ate food ... that operation is reversed") came, and the operation was called off. A family pattern of children before marriage is broken: her sister married in 2023, she married in 2024, and their last-born married "yesterday."
  • A man from Uganda, on his first visit and straight from the airport with his wife: diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in India in 2022 and given six months to live, he followed the altar of fire and is alive. He is staying until Wednesday's "Oh Lord, show me mercy."

Words of knowledge / healing declarations

  • First service: paralysis reversed; strongholds over the male members of a family broken; closed doors opened; "where I am right now is not my place: break out." "Before you take your seat ... less than one hour" breakouts. Fibroids disappearing; breast cancer disappearing; epilepsy and seizures disappearing; open wounds sealed; "12 years in [caption 'Kavia'] wilderness" reversed; anaemia reversed; failed organs reversed; remembered for high favour this week; fluid on the heart reversed; a kidney surgery that went wrong and led to kidney failure reversed; "your first son suddenly woke up blind in both eyes ... let the two eyes open"; a witch sitting on a family's throne exchanging destinies broken. "You will not cry over what you have thanked the Lord about."
  • Second service: "By the hand of the Lord you will not end April the way you are"; "before 6:00 p.m. Nigerian time" something you have tried with your own hands will be overturned; what they buried in your house is resurrected; witchcraft activities broken.
  • Third service: surgery on the caption's "oifos" reversed (perhaps fibroids or ovaries); any appointment with death broken; bone cancer demolished; a sickness more than one family member has suffered wiped from the bloodline; "those that doubted your God by Wednesday morning ... will see an evidence that sounds like a lie"; "the Lord shall fight for you and you shall hold your peace."
  • Fourth service: kidney stones and stones anywhere in the body drop off; every hole in the heart sealed; anxieties reversed; future shame uprooted; household witchcraft in your father's house broken; "may you be sensitive to when your season is changing."

Important message

  1. The hand of the Lord is God's might, not a body part. Finger, hand, arm and outstretched arm are rising measures of His power. He has never lost a battle, and no one He lays hands on stays the same. It is never measured by the length of your own hand.
  2. What you face is usually ignorance of His hand, not its absence. The hand came on you the day you were saved. Sometimes His hand shows as intimacy before change, like the blind man led out of town, and God wants you changed, not just your situation.
  3. Not everything in your life is the hand of the Lord. Like Jeroboam's altar at Bethel, ignorance and spiritual laziness can accommodate things that do not look like God in a life called by His name. Refuse them.
  4. Between the hand of the Lord and the manifestation, God looks for a man. Your excuses delay other people's dry bones. Do not leave a heap of ashes on the altar. If you have failed, run back to the Father.
  5. Do not take authority without a word from God. Jeroboam had the title; an unnamed prophet had the word. A generation is rising whose password into the new season is the word of the Lord in their mouth.
  6. The hand of the Lord brings focus, speed, empowerment and war on stubborn challenges. Speed is God's statement that evil will not stay ahead. Seasons of fasting, learning and separation are empowerment, so pray to be anointed for the overflow, not just for the overflow.
  7. What stays in your hand serves you; what you place in His hand serves a generation.
  8. There is a covenant over your life. It speaks for you even when you do not pray right; God sees the covenant before He sees your mistakes. Those who oppose what God is doing for you become His adversaries.
  9. Do not take ownership of what the enemy brought. A spirit of infirmity became "thine infirmity" only once the woman accepted it. Cancer, diabetes, addiction or a report: "It's not my own." That is the audacity of faith, not denial.
  10. The hand of the Lord moves in the spirit and is activated by the word. A valid "boarding pass" on the wrong bus lands you in the wrong city. Live, walk and talk in the Spirit.
  11. Speak the word first, not as a fallback. Fear-filled words are also powerful and must be cancelled. God, who breathed into Adam, now has you call the breath: wherever He has placed you, give it life.

What he asks of us

Today / this season

  • Shout and keep declaring "The hand of the Lord is at work," to yourself and to 14 people on your way out (in the third service: "There's a covenant over my life," to seven people).

  • Get a word from God before you step out. Speak the word first, and cancel anything negative you have said.
  • Ask the Lord to align you with the right "transport": live in the Spirit, speak in tongues, anoint your children.
  • Refuse to call any sickness, addiction or failure "my own."
  • Go back and give life to your family, marriage, business and assignment rather than walking away.
  • Give offerings, tithes and partnership; partner with the church building project.
