OH LORD SHOW ME MERCY

OH LORD SHOW ME MERCY || I AM IN MY NEW || [NSPPD WEEK - DAY 3] || NSPPD || 26TH MARCH 2025

When the experts fail, mercy does not: cry "Oh Lord, show me mercy", because what God cannot do does not exist, and this is your season of great mercy evidence.

Summary

Day 3 of the NSPPD fifth anniversary week opened with the song "We know you are the rewarder of those who diligently seek your face; all power is in your hands, and with you nothing is impossible to do", and the refrain that ran through the whole morning: "What you cannot do does not exist." A recorded word from Pastor Jerry followed (and was replayed after the close). Three weeks earlier, during the 7am prayers, the Spirit told him someone was beside a dead woman and should turn up the phone volume and place it beside her. The mother had been confirmed clinically dead; the prayer ended and nothing happened, the daughter felt God had disappointed them, and then "5 minutes later" she came back. A second wife told how her husband, after brain cancer surgery, was expected to stay unconscious for 6 months and never walk. She answered the doctor, "What God cannot do does not exist", called his name hours after surgery and he opened his eyes; when staff removed the window blinds to move his stretcher out of the ICU, he stood up on his feet. He called it "a revival of the strange acts of God."

The prayer of the day was the cry "Oh Lord, show me mercy", addressed to Arroi, the God who sees me, the author and finisher of faith and "the God of my journey". He prayed Moses' argument that God is "not a God of abandoned projects", and tied the three days of NSPPD week to the multitude who stayed with Jesus three days and were not sent away empty. Mercy was asked over weakness, struggles, failure, battles, affliction and desire, then "let there be a turnaround", Elizabeth's years of waiting ended by mercy, and the man at the pool who said "I have no man." From 1 Peter 1:3 he drew the line "Where there is mercy, there is hope": that health, career and situation are not hopeless. People laid down burdens that had become mockery, delay, stagnation and infirmity. He reported what God said the night before: "I will answer my people in a way I have not answered them before." Then he led the whole altar in declaring "The Lord is good, for his mercy endures forever" fourteen times, so that whatever the enemy meant to last "will not endure".

He called "let mercy rejoice over judgment" over mistakes, lost opportunities and self-made failures, asked that testimonies come "in spite of everything" within three days (pregnancies, jobs, immigration, elevation, marriages, family remembrance on the fifth anniversary), and then gave words of knowledge, each sealed with "By the mercy of God, I announce: let it be reversed." A co-host led the declaration over written fifth anniversary prayer points, praying that God would not write a story and let the devil finish it, and the day's phrase was born: "Great mercy evidence." The prayer ended with "operation" declarations (I am in my new, oil of gladness, it is complete, the battles have ended, destroyed from their roots, higher result, greater evidence).

Testimonies were played: a man delivered in a dream from a cemetery; a unit worker spared on 19 March in a trailer fire and explosion after Papa had declared that pain due on the 19th was reversed; David in Canada healed of rhabdomyolysis after the word was called on a Monday; and Comfort Aman from Calabar, whose huge suspected ovarian cancer came back non-cancerous in every histology result. Pastor Jerry marvelled that the rhabdomyolysis word "doesn't make sense" unless the Holy Ghost seizes your mouth, and told people to stay on the altar. Salvation prayer, three communions, the Lusaka conference announcement and two co-host reflections on "a reintroduction of God" closed the service, with Psalm 91 declared and "congratulations" said seven times.

"Oh Lord, oh Lord, show me mercy. Arroi, the God that sees me, show me mercy."

Testimonies played / recapped

  • Mother raised (recap, 3 weeks earlier): word of knowledge to turn up the phone beside a woman confirmed clinically dead; after the prayer she did not revive, and 5 minutes later she did.
  • Brain cancer husband (recap): told he would be unconscious 6 months and never walk; his wife called his name hours after surgery and he opened his eyes; as staff removed the window blinds to get the stretcher out of the ICU, he stood up.
  • Cemetery dream: an only child who had lost both parents dreamt he was wandering in a cemetery; Papa tapped him, asked "What are you doing here?", led him out, and the gate closed behind them.
  • Spared in a trailer fire, 19 March: a church unit worker driving home near "Caro bridge" (likely Karu bridge) with three customs officers; a trailer smashed his side mirror, he was pushed toward the ditch, and the same trailer hit the cars ahead. Six explosions followed and people burned, a husband watching his wife burn. On the first Sunday of March Papa had declared that anything set to cause pain on the 19th was reversed.
  • David, Canada, rhabdomyolysis: after an unusually heavy gym session, extreme weakness, stiff arms, cola-coloured urine; diagnosed with rhabdomyolysis (risk of kidney failure). Afraid, he only said "Father, let Papa mention my case." On a Monday the word "rhabdomyolysis, be reversed" came; he replayed it to be sure, and everything returned to normal. He had not written a request or fasted; he spoke in fear.
  • Comfort Aman (caption spelling), Calabar, Cross River State: June 2023, ovarian tumour, queried ovarian cancer. A US nurse friend kept sending the NSPPD link and she deleted it ("my problem is money, she should send dollars"). She joined after diagnosis; CA-125 tests came back negative twice. Surgeons dodged her; one doctor agreed. A retired O&G staffer, she was operated on in her old department; an oncologist asked why an oncology case was being done without an oncologist. The mass was huge, needing an incision from lower abdomen to chest wall; her SpO2 dropped to 20%. On 19 September 2023 Pastor Jerry had called "a tumour pushing against your liver". Every histology and fluid result came out non-cancerous; she can now jump and dance.

Words of knowledge / healing declarations

  • "Giant cellar" (likely a giant cell tumour or giant cell arteritis; uncertain).
  • Two brothers, both with advanced prostate cancer.
  • Someone given the wrong blood in a transfusion, now struggling for life.
  • "Cyto virus" (likely cytomegalovirus; uncertain).
  • Cancer of the thorax.
  • "Levi" (unclear).
  • Someone with 32 diseases listed.
  • Three children who suddenly hear voices, at school too; a witchcraft attack.
  • A woman who went to a shrine before marriage, has miscarried since, and was told to return for another sacrifice: "The Lord says, I see you."
  • "I fasia" (likely aphasia; uncertain).
  • A husband and wife, with young children, about to be convicted of the same thing: "Let mercy reverse it."
  • Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO).
  • "Two more in your pouch of God/glass" (likely masses in the pouch of Douglas; uncertain).
  • Every respiratory challenge rolled away.
  • "Maru" (unclear).
  • Someone who nearly died twice from hypotension ("not hypertension").
  • Men with breast cancer.
  • In the commentary: "It is not cancer", any conclusion made about your health or children reversed.

Important message

  1. What God cannot do does not exist. The doctors' verdict is not the last word; this is "a revival of the strange acts of God", and the question "Where is your God?" is being silenced.
  2. Mercy is the answer when everything else has failed. Experts and trusted people failed; "when everything fails, mercy does not fail." Where there is mercy there is hope, so no health, career or situation is hopeless.
  3. God does not abandon his projects. As Moses pleaded, he who brought you out will bring you in; the author of your story will not let the devil finish it. "It must end in praise."
  4. Mercy rejoices over judgment. Even the architects of their own mistakes, the guilty and those who missed their moment, can receive mercy, like the unqualified Syrophoenician woman and Bartimaeus.
  5. His mercy endures forever, so the enemy's work will not. Shame, battles, fear and oppression that seemed permanent will not endure.
  6. God answers beyond our faith. The young man spoke in fear, the woman kept deleting the link, and God still showed mercy: "a reintroduction of God", whose love does not wait for perfect faith.
  7. Stay on the altar. There are battles God fights before you see them, like the trailer that took the side mirror but not the life.
