OH LORD SHOW ME MERCY

Day 3 of "God of Wonders; God of Perfection" was the Wednesday "Oh Lord, show me mercy" altar. It opened with the worship line "What You cannot do does not exist", then a recorded recap from Pastor Jerry of two wonders from three weeks earlier. A daughter placed her phone, volume up, beside her mother who had been confirmed clinically dead; nothing happened when the prayer ended, and five minutes later the mother came back to life. A wife whose husband had brain cancer surgery was told he would be unconscious for six months and might never walk. She answered the doctor, "What God cannot do does not exist", called her husband's name in the ICU, and he opened his eyes; when staff were taking out a window to move his stretcher, he stood up on his feet. Pastor Jerry called this "a revival of the strange acts of God".

The mercy prayers were built on Scripture. Through the blood of Jesus they came boldly to the throne of grace and called on El Roi, "the God who sees me". The prayer points: "Your mercies are new every morning, pull me out of every old challenge"; "only Your mercy endures forever, this affliction will not endure"; "You save not by bow nor sword but by mercy". From Romans 9 came "it is not of him that wills nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy: not by the doctor's report, not by the diagnosis, not by the prognosis". He prayed through the Syrophoenician woman, Epaphroditus spared "sorrow upon sorrow", and the woman whose accusers dropped their stones ("we will ask cancer, where is your stone?"), then through the refrain of Psalm 136. He declared that no one calling on God's mercy would go home the way they came, and prayed for women waiting for babies.

The words of knowledge took the form "if you are the one, put it on the live stream; the devil is a liar, let it be reversed". He named a spinal cord condition, endometrial cancer, Guillain-Barré syndrome, a mother of two autistic children and one deaf child, single ventricle heart disease, arthritis of the jaw joint, white matter brain disease, a growth taken from an ear and called cancerous, an autoimmune disease causing mental illness, a newborn in heart failure, ovarian, prostate and lung cancer ("go and check again"), and glaucoma in four members of one family. After a pause to share the link, Pastor K declared for mercy over people's written requests. Pastor Jerry then made the "seven things" the Lord told him to declare, and a seed offering was received under the word "instant mercy intervention".

Four video testimonies followed. A new convert had her UK student visa delivered by hand by a UKVI officer, with under 12 hours left before her school's deadline. A woman gave birth to a son after eight years of barrenness. A man in Maryland was healed of pneumothorax after a word of knowledge named it. A domestic worker's dead nine-year-old son was revived in 2022 after a "doctor" no one on staff could identify touched him. Pastor Jerry said that last visitor was an angel: "Your children are outside praying with the link and you are here crying". Heaven responded to the prayer, not the crying. He declared strange angelic visitations for the rest of February. The service closed with salvation, three communions, announcements for Day 4, tributes from Pastor K and a co-host, Psalm 91, and seven "congratulations".

Testimonies played / recapped

• Clinically dead mother (recap, three weeks earlier): Pastor Jerry got a word on the 7am prayers about someone beside a dead woman: turn the phone volume up and place it beside her. The mother had been confirmed clinically dead hours before. Nothing happened when the prayer ended and the daughter felt God had disappointed them; five minutes later the mother came back to life.
• Brain cancer surgery (recap): surgeons could not avoid sensitive corridors and said the husband would be unconscious for six months and might never walk. The wife told the doctor "What God cannot do does not exist" (the doctor complained to her brother-in-law about her). Hours after he was taken to the ICU she called his name and he responded and opened his eyes. Staff were removing a window because the door could not take the stretcher, and he stood up on his feet.
• UK student visa: joined the NSPPD altar in January 2025, completed her first New Year fast, and gave her life to Christ at the altar call on 17 January. She applied for a UK student visa on 31 December and heard nothing. Her school said it would cancel her place if she had no visa by Thursday. She withdrew the application on Wednesday night for fear of a bad immigration record, then was too sad to join the altar on Thursday. Replaying a message, she heard "protocols are broken for your sake." On Third Mainland Bridge on the way to the NSPPD gathering she got a call from a UKVI consular officer: a decision had been made. The school would not extend the Sunday arrival deadline, so the officer called her madam back within a minute, came from home, printed her papers for her and handed over the visa at Walter Carrington (caption "Walter cartin"). She had under 12 hours left in Nigeria and had not yet packed.
• Eight years of barrenness broken: the testifier, living outside Nigeria, had tried herbs, traditional massage, a doctor who "opened" her womb, and IVF, with repeated disappointments through 2020-2022. In December 2023 Pastor Jerry kept saying "I see angels carrying babies"; she felt she had collected hers. She was confirmed pregnant in March, eight weeks gone, and showed her baby boy. She prayed for continued strength for Pastor Jerry, who has never made an excuse not to be on the altar.
• Pneumothorax healed (An, Maryland, USA): diagnosed in September (caption says 2020; the timeline points to 2024) with a collapsed lung, emergency surgery, a chest tube and three weeks in hospital; the surgeon said the lung was damaged. Discharged in October with a chest tube. When the tube pulled out he went to a higher hospital, needed a second procedure and came out with "almost three" chest tubes. He told his wife Pastor Jerry would mention his case. On 4 December the word came: "pneumothorax, if you are the one, put it on the live stream, the devil is a liar, let it be reversed by mercy." A scan around 10 December showed no pneumothorax, the tube was removed, and a new scan confirmed it. He had been told he might live on oxygen.
• Dead boy revived by a visitor (2022): during the August fast before Pastor Jerry's birthday, the testifier asked God for a testimony on the last day. Minutes later Pastor Jerry spoke of a family around a dead boy in a hospital. Her domestic staff then called: her nine-year-old son, a twin, was declared dead, with no blood and low oxygen, and she could only pay ₦20,000 of a ₦40,000 deposit. The testifier sent her data, and the other children played the prayer in the corridor. Nurses said the body was stiff and cold. A man dressed like a doctor came in, asked why she was crying while her children prayed with the link, touched the boy, and the boy sneezed and called "Mommy". None of the roughly seven doctors on duty was that man, the hospital had no male nurses, and he had "gone" toward a brick wall; the children saw no one enter. The boy's blood and oxygen were normal. The hospital returned the ₦20,000 and observed him for two days free: "this has nothing to do with us." She shared it after the Holy Spirit told her two weeks earlier that the person God used needed to hear it.

1. This is a season of a revival of the strange acts of God; no longer will people ask "Where is your God?"
2. Mercy, not merit, decides the outcome. It is not of him that wills or runs, and not the doctor's report, the diagnosis or the prognosis, but God who shows mercy. Only His mercy endures; affliction does not.
3. Faith speaks now. Like the wife in the ICU, answer the report with "What God cannot do does not exist."
4. Heaven responds to prayer, not to crying. The angel came because the children were praying with the link: "If you don't learn anything, learn this one."
5. Don't let anything pull you off the altar, even when you are overwhelmed; the visa testifier's turning point came from replaying a message on a day she had stayed away.
6. February is a month of positioning: God is working while His people pray, and this mercy prayer will yield testimonies that sound like lies.
7. Pastor K: God is giving many infallible proofs that His name is on this altar, and no devil can stop what God is doing.
