MORE THAN A CONQUEROR
MORE THAN A CONQUEROR || SUNDAY SERVICE || 9TH FEBRUARY 2025
You are not fighting to win but because you have already won: know your script, reverse every negative word, raise the heat, and you will pursue, overtake and recover all, because you are more than a conqueror.

Summary
This was the Sunday at Streams of Joy Abuja the day after the NSPPD prayer conference in Lagos (Friday night into Saturday). Pastor Jerry said more than once that his mind "hasn't processed yesterday", and each service replayed a reel of the Lagos miracles: people rising from wheelchairs, a boy's hydrocele gone, a teenager with oesophageal atresia drinking water, a woman coming off oxygen. The theme ran through all four services and their weekly declarations: "I am more than a conqueror." His opening charge was to stop judging who you are by what is happening: "judge what is happening by who you are."
First service (John 20:1-18). Mary Magdalene found the stone rolled away and concluded "they have taken away my Lord", because "as yet they knew not the scripture". He drew out the word script: your life is already written, Jesus is author and finisher, and as Pilate said, "what is written is written". The lion, the bear, the disappointment are "part of my script", so pray with the script, not with the situation. Jesus sent Mary back to the disciples to reverse her report, so he sent the church back to reverse every negative word they had spoken over themselves and their families ("go back and talk"). The two angels at the head and the feet show that God works on the head so that the feet can move. He also warned against "chasing dead things".
Second service (Acts 28:1-6). He defined the title: "a conqueror defeats his enemy, but a more than a conqueror subjugates his enemy" and makes it serve his purpose; he "fights because he has already won." From the viper he taught five points. Bite back. The Spirit-born are like the wind (John 3:8), so the enemy cannot track your patterns. Vipers swallow prey whole, so he declared restoration of what was swallowed. They thrive in quiet places, so do not be quiet. They move at night. Then the main word: the viper came out "because of the heat", not just the fire. The islanders kindled the fire, Paul kept the heat. "When you come here what I do for you is to kindle a fire, but what you will do for yourself is to get back home and raise the heat." Paul shook the beast back into the fire: what God terminated stays terminated.
Third service (1 Samuel 30). David at Ziklag gave five mandates for a more than a conqueror. Negative emotions complicate what you should solve with prayer; David only heard God after he "encouraged himself in the Lord". Stay on His voice: David asked two questions and got three answers, including "without fail recover all", so this is "a week of recovery". Ziklag, a gift from the Philistines and a "foundation of compromise", had to burn so David could focus on destiny. A warrior must first be a priest: David took the ephod and asked God himself. Know how it ends, keep the word as your process rather than the circumstances, and prepare for spoils. Finally, pass the capacity to fight on to your family and generation.
Fourth service (1 Samuel 17:38-51). Goliath attacked David's identity ("a youth, ruddy, of a fair countenance"), then his capacity ("am I a dog that thou comest to me with staves?"), then cursed him by his gods. "Your capacity is not in your appearance", and "part of your victory is that you don't look like the things you fought." David fought from the strong tower of the name of the Lord (Proverbs 18:10), like the woman whose millstone fell on Abimelech. He used one stone of five ("you will not pray over that matter again"), stood on the giant and cut off his head with Goliath's own sword, because the Philistines only fled when the head was off. Leave them their sword and spear; your sling and stone are enough when the name of the Lord is on them.
Testimonies came in the second and third services. A UK resident got her immigration card ten days after a second interview, and a UK nurse described three deliverances. A Lagos minister whose legs were to be amputated now walks without crutches. In Abuja: protection during a kidnapping in Imo State, a car with failed brakes stopping short of a fuel trailer, a lost father with dementia found, a promotion to chief lecturer, and a man whose type 2 diabetes and kidney disease were gone at his review the day after Lagos. Each service closed with welcome prayers for first timers and new members and the Psalm 91 confession.

Testimonies played / recapped (Lagos conference reel, shown in several services)
- A man confined to a wheelchair for two years after a stroke stood up and walked.
- A woman who could not walk without an aid since 2023 dropped it and walked from the back.
- A 6-year-old boy with a hydrocele since age 2: the swelling disappeared, confirmed on the spot by a consultant paediatrician who examined him.
- A 15-year-old boy diagnosed at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital with oesophageal atresia with oesophageal dilation ("aalia... a break in the continuity of the oesophagus"). He could not swallow water for four years, had laparoscopic surgery last year and was due for a second; he drank water during ministration.
- A woman who had not seen her period for a year and two months after a syndrome and a failed surgery ("syndrome in fail surgery", uncertain) began to menstruate during the prayers.
- A woman on oxygen throughout the programme (about three cylinders used) removed it and breathed on her own.
- A mother: her son went for an operation and the doctor "cannot find anything".
Testimonies in the Abuja services
- Joy Israel (UK): moved to the UK in 2018, applied for her documents in 2021, interviewed in mid-2022 with no reply. A friend pushed her to join NSPPD; she held on to the word "you will receive your 10 years in 10 days". She was called to a second interview, where the officer asked only "are you Joy?" and said "cry no more"; she received her card within ten days.
- Peace Davis (registered nurse, UK): from a kindred she called diabolical. After she joined the altar in 2021 and held the "every strongman, fire" prayer, the strongman behind it died. Ten years ago a woman in a dream forbade her to fast; ulcer pain followed and she lost her prayer strength. At the end of 2024 she joined the 21-day fast and finished it with no pain. Later something lifted her from her bed and swung her round; persistent dizziness followed and was gone by June to September. A nail appeared in her shoe at work, then again on her lunch table; her leg swelled, she ended up in a wheelchair, and the doctor called it cellulitis. She washed the wound with "the blood of Jesus" and it healed in seven days; the consultant said that could not have been ordinary cellulitis.
- Apostle Prince Emmanuel Udeh (Lagos, uncertain spelling), minister of the gospel: a snake bit him in a dream on 3 January 2016 and his legs swelled into large wounds; he used crutches for years. In 2021, in Porto-Novo, his blood sugar hit about 414; he was a week in ICU, amputation was discussed, an insulin dose crashed his sugar to 10 and he "died" for about 30 minutes. Back in Nigeria he prayed on the altar and used communion, the mantle and the declarations. He now walks and jumps without crutches and his legs were not cut off; six others in that ward died.
- A brother (named in the line-up as Kenneth or Chinam Timothy, uncertain): a project payment that had stalled, with debt of about 90 million naira, was paid before December. In January he won election as national vice chairman of an association against alcohol harm in Nigeria. On a drug-abuse awareness project in Imo State, armed men abducted the shop owner in front of him and told the rest to run. On the last day the Holy Ghost told him not to leave with the leftover money; he handed it out in envelopes, and about 20 men who ambushed the exit found nothing. No one on his team was kidnapped, mobbed or shot.
- Victoria (Abuja): her boss's 300 million naira was stolen by a manager, and EFCC and DSS interrogated the staff. She asked God to vindicate her and was cleared when the thief was caught. She did not return in January, interviewed on Zoom for a manager role she felt unqualified for, and received the offer by email on the Friday before the Lagos conference, at about four times her old salary. During the last week of the fast her car lost its brakes near Police Signboard (Lugbe, Abuja) and struck a man, who died. She and a Muslim passenger shouted "Elroi", and the car stopped just behind a fuel trailer.
- Dr Raymond (uncertain spelling), polytechnic lecturer in chemistry and materials science, joined November 2021, third testimony: his father, about 85-86 with dementia, went missing from hospital for three nights without food or water and was found on the Wednesday in front of a Living Faith Church. He was burdened to plant a church in his village; it was approved, a crusade was held in November and a missionary now runs it. He came second in a national award. He was promoted to chief lecturer after his books were briefly held back for a missing table of contents, following a "birthday gift" word from Pastor Jerry.
- Eric Daniel ("ARA Daniel" in the caption): two years of gastritis, acid reflux, kidney stones, nephritis and a kidney infection, then type 2 diabetes in December. At the Lagos conference he heard "diabetes is not your name". At his review the day after, the diabetes specialist said "you don't have diabetes" and the other doctor said his kidneys were fine. "I have my evidence."
Words of knowledge / healing declarations
- First service: a husband critically ill in ICU, in a coma, will come out "before 24 hours"; a scheduled kidney surgery reversed; lamentations sung over someone "on a grave" reversed; someone with "11 failures", the failure reversed; favour restored to a business; wings for children to fly; "it will not be up to 14 days, there will be a turnaround".
- Second service: whatever was swallowed (opportunities, high favour) restored "in less than 3 days".
- Third service: a strong prayer against "arrows of suicide"; fungal endocarditis ("fungal endoc"); bone marrow oedema (uncertain, "Eder of the bone marrow"); Alzheimer's disease; someone going for a confirmation test for skin cancer; helpers who suddenly start hating you; a year "starting slow" to be accelerated; "you will be needed".
- Fourth service (start of 1 Samuel 30 reading block): a curse that a father, called a witch doctor, placed on his children before he died is reversed; to a woman with repeated miscarriages, "the last miscarriage you had is the last you will ever have"; rejection and quietness in destiny reversed; the mantle of exemption over families this week.
Offering
- Offerings, tithes and partnership were raised as a wave offering in every service; in one he asked people to "declare one thing that will happen this week" over their offering.
Important message
- More than a conqueror is an identity, not a result. A conqueror defeats the enemy; a more than a conqueror subjugates him and makes the situation serve God's purpose. He fights because he has already won and sees God in the battle. It is "beyond a state... an identity... a mindset... an atmosphere".
- Judge circumstances by identity, not identity by circumstances. The presence of negativity is not the absence of your identity. "The devil does not fight empty destinies."
- Your life is scripted. The disciples "knew not the scripture". The lion, the bear and the disappointment are in the script, God is the director, and no situation or ordinance of hell can spoil it. Pray from the script, not the situation, and keep people around you who know your script.
- Words must be reversed. Like Mary, go back to where you spoke negativity (failure, delay, sickness, "premature death in this family") and speak the opposite. Life and death are in the tongue.
- Keep the heat on. God kindles the fire in church; you raise the heat at home. Vipers come out because of heat, not noise. The devil wants the fire of January to cool by March: "this is not 2024."
- What God has terminated stays terminated. Paul shook the viper back into the fire. Closed chapters will not reopen.
- No room for negative emotions. They complicate what prayer should solve. David only heard God after he encouraged himself in the Lord, and men of destiny often have to do that alone.
- Priesthood before warfare. Effective warriors are first consistent priests. Do not confuse warfare prayers with communion and relationship with God. A priest who will not seek God loses his ephod to someone who will.
- God burns your Ziklag. Some losses are God removing what was built on compromise, including wrong relationships, so you can follow destiny.
- Know the ending, live by the word, expect spoils. The word is released as energy, not a step-by-step process. Fixing on the process is walking by sight. God's "recover all" includes what you never lost and never prayed for.
- Make your family conquerors too. David alone was battle-ready; his household was not. Teach your children and those around you to pray, not just to call you.
- You are bigger than you look. You do not have to look like what you fought. Do not want the enemy's sword and spear: fight from the tower of the Name, finish the job by cutting off Goliath's head, and remember the Philistines behind him. Make the victory about God, "that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel."
What he asks of us
Today / this season
- Say it as identity, not as a wish: "I am more than a conqueror," and "I am not fighting to win, I am fighting because I won."
- Go back and reverse every negative word spoken over yourself, your health, career, marriage and family; drop a message in your family WhatsApp group renouncing beliefs like premature death in the family.
- Pray with the script: find what God's word says about your situation and stand on it, not on the process or the circumstances.
- Raise the heat at home: take about 30 minutes before you sleep and before you step out each morning to pray, and have someone in your circle you can pray in tongues with when your heat drops.
- Do not be quiet in your home, career or family; speak, declare and pray.
- Encourage yourself in the Lord and refuse fear, doubt and "I am tired"; take your priesthood seriously, with time in God's presence and not only warfare.
- Let go of your Ziklag, including relationships built on compromise.
- Teach your children and family to pray for themselves.
- Give offerings, tithes and partnership, and sow into the church building project.
- First timers: fill and submit the ushers' form; new members are invited to the discipleship class.
